Opiniones de Via Trenta Astoria
Via trenta is a hidden gem! The cozy atmosphere and impeccable service made for a memorable night. We loved the private dining area in the back. The homemade pasta dishes were incredible, each bite bursting with flavor. You can taste the quality and care in every dish. Don't miss the desserts—they're the perfect sweet ending. If you want authentic Italian food in a warm, inviting setting, this is your place. Highly recommend!
Where do I start, I had such an incredible experience at this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully set up. The food was absolutely phenomenal — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. But what truly made the night unforgettable was our waiter, Suri. He was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and gave amazing recommendations that did not disappoint. His energy was kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell he really cares about creating a great experience for his guests. Excellent food + outstanding service from Suri = 10/10. I’ll definitely be back!
This is always the most amazing meal. The hospitality is so special - from the food to the service from the atmosphere. My favorite spot with my family - they always have wonderful specials and they also have fantastic gluten free options! Samuel is an incredible server with a lot of knowledge of the menu. He is always on top of it - always knowing the right time to jump in and serve us wine, haha! Definitely come here!!!
I’ve been coming here for 15 years and it’s my first review. Via Trenta (30th Ave) is so underrated. It’s ALWAYS been amazing. Where else can you get Barolo by the glass, fresh bluepoints & Kumos, tonno tartare, and the classics, like veal scallopini, gnocchi, all homemade pastas?? Here, at Via Trenta. With so many options in Astoria, it’s easy to overlook how, but hard to forget how GOOD this place is. For truly Italian style cuisine (NOT American Italian style smothered in sauce), this place gets Astoria’s Best Italian.
Always a favorite! The food is fabulous and everything about this place is consistent. Service is wonderful — everyone is attentive and very familiar with the menu. Good vibes, easy cocktails, lovely meats and veg.
Our favorite Italian spot in the neighborhood! We come for a relaxing Sunday night dinner and always have the best time. Everyone is friendly, the food is always amazing and we absolutely love it!
What an amazing time. From the atmosphere, to the food, down to the service- everything was exceptional. We had the pleasure of having Suri as our server, and she was nothing short of perfect. The dining experience here gets better every time we come
The food at Via Trenta is always 15/10- excellent taste, all around very delicious. Suri, is an excellent waitress- very attentive, kind, and caring. We’ve come here multiple times for the hospitality and great food.
The food was amazing, we had the ragu special and the pasta. Suri and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly. I recommend coming here!
We celebrated our 5th year anniversary here. We loved the food and everyone was very nice & generous. The owner treated us to homemade limoncello, and the staff celebrated us at every opportunity possible. My fiancée and I absolutely recommend having dinner here.
10/10 experience at Trenta Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, everything was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and welcoming without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Every dish we ordered exceeded expectations. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
We have been coming to this place for few years now and it never disappoints us. The food is amazing. The service is top notch. Must haves Grilled octopus, gnocchi pesto, filet mignon. Don’t forget the dessert: Crème bruele is to die for.
This is my new spot. I was there with a few friends the other night and WoW what a cool , good vide , great food and for the first time in a long time good service. We met Who I believe to be the owner, Giovanni . What knowledge and nice guy this man. We shared a few dishes to start for appetizers, meatballs, octopus and a couple pizzas! Everything was just perfect. I then had Ravioli and my friend next to me had the pappardelle and me and her shared and both pastas were out of control! Giovanni recommended Barolo Which he said Piedmont was the way to go! We took the recommendation and that was the icing on the cake! Definitely going back and thank you all .
I have been dining here since opened. The homemade pasta is amazing complemented with simple tomatoe sauce reminiscent of Italy. The variety of wines will supplement any meal. I am really happy with the addition of the fresh oyster bar. The fresh oysters and octopus with a cold beer are my lunch favorite .
Absolutely amazing dinner. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service made the whole experience even better. One of those meals you keep thinking about after you leave. Would 100% come back.
My favorite restaurant in Astoria hands down. I have been coming to Via trenta for almost 15 years. The food, the service is just beyond your best expectations. They even did my rehearsal dinner here for our wedding and were so accommodating. If you have not yet tried Via, you must go immediately!
I've been coming here for various years and today I wanted to shoutout how great Via Trenta is. I love their fresh pastas, wine selection and desserts. Today, everyone in our table enjoyed their meals. It's a solid neighborhood Italian restaurant without having to be too pretentious. The oyster bar is really great addition and I love its variety. Our favorite ones were Wellfleet, from Cape Cod. Finally, their service has always been outstanding. All servers are kind and attentive. Highly recommended.
Ever since they closed Trattoria L'incontro in Astoria this restaurant has become the best place for Italian food. Fresh oysters in they offer are a final touch. Very nice venue, manager Giovanni convinced me to stop by and try some good products they have. They make their own pasta. Since I haven't tried yet majority of their food, I can't give 5*. But my first impressions about the ambience, food and service are all just on point. Way behind they have a special space (Wine Bar) for mini events and hedonists who enjoy rare wines. A remarkable selection of wine, which are not so common even for Manhattan, such as Ornellaia, Solaia, Masseto, Tignanello, and a big variety of Brunello di Montalcino or Barolo wines. Very affordable prices, no ripping off. Good vintages. I strongly recommend this place.
The food, staff, and ambiance are all just on point. It's perfect for a first date, hanging out with friends, catching up with family, or even dining solo! This spot checks all the boxes. The food is fresh, vibrant, and expertly prepared.. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu But the real star of the show? The Kumamoto oyster!
This quaint Italian/seafood spot in the heart of Astoria has truly captivated my attention. The service is excellent, make sure to ask for Samuel! He is very knowledgeable about the menu, makes great recommendations and is very timely with his service. I come here often for the oysters and the specials which usually always has some kind of fish. Sitting outside is my absolute favorite, very pleasant with nice street views of 30th Avenue. They also have a great selection of East and West coast oysters, i highly recommend the Chebooktook or the Prime Pearls! The branzino is my favorite here, it is fresh and prepared perfectly! *chef’s kiss* if you’re ever in the area looking for a place to unwind and enjoy good food, Via Trent’s Osteria is the spot !
What a neighborhood gem! Our friend who lives in the area brought us here, saying it was one of her local favorites for Italian food, and I can see why! The service is friendly, and the food is too notch. We ordered a range of dishes, starting with sautéed artichokes and fried calamari— both excellent! Moved on to a few pastas— a seafood special with squid ink pasta, their bolognese, and a pappardelle with mushrooms. My favorite was the pappardelle, which was infused with so much truffle and mushroom flavor, but all the pastas are homemade and very good. A great new find— I’ll be back.
I recently visited this restaurant, and while the food and overall service were fine, my experience started off on a very negative note. The manager looked at me in a way that felt judgmental and refused to let me sit inside simply because I was wearing a hoodie and athletic wear. I live in the neighborhood, and being told I had to eat outside because of my outfit felt not only unnecessary but also very unwelcoming. I find it ridiculous that a restaurant located on the corner of a residential area enforces a dress code to this extent. The way the manager looked at me was far from hospitable, and it really set the wrong tone for the evening. Apart from that, everything else was okay, but this policy and attitude left me with a bad impression.
The truth is, it was my mistake to choose a place I didn’t know and had never been to in order to celebrate my birthday. But, of course, you always expect the best. Right from the beginning, we had a small issue with a server, he was a bit rude in a specific situation with me: my mother and I were placing our order, and he said there were too many people talking at the same time, but the way he said it was unnecessary and rude. From that moment on, the atmosphere already felt uncomfortable. After that, we ordered appetizers, main courses, and dessert. Overall, the food was very average. Nothing stood out. We ordered gnocchi, spaghetti, fettuccine, among other dishes, and none of them were memorable. Even the appetizer sampler didn’t impress us. The dessert, a cheesecake, was unfortunately not tasty. In the end, the experience didn’t surprise me at all. It’s not a place I would return to.
