We came here to eat for Mother's Day and had an amazing experience! It was the first time in a long while since coming here to this location. The staff was friendly and attentive the food was quick to come out too. The general manager Heather came out and talked with us too. The other manager was everywhere also. We will be back soon

Our server, Hope , was very helpful and knowledgeable on the promotional items making our experience phenomenal! The food items we ordered were brought out hot and cooked as we requested. She was kind enough to time our dessert perfectly as we were finishing our main entree. We will definitely return!

I had an amazing experience at the Atwater Applebee’s, and it’s all thanks to Danielle. She’s an absolute rock star! From the moment I sat down, Danielle greeted me with a warm smile and a vibe that said, “I’ve got this.” And trust me—she delivered. My order was a little complicated (I like to customize everything), but Danielle didn’t miss a beat. She got every detail right and even suggested a drink pairing that was spot on. The food came out fast and fresh, but what really stood out was Danielle’s attention to detail and her energy. She handled the entire section like a total bad-ass—keeping everyone happy and still managing to check in with me often to make sure I was good. If you’re heading to this Applebee’s, ask for Danielle. She’s the kind of server who takes the dining experience from good to unforgettable. A true gem!

The food is great here! Me and my friend absolutely loved the Chicken Tenders with Mac and Cheese. And our waitress Cecilia was so patient with us when we were trying to decide on our order, very nice waitress. She was very friendly! Definitely recommend :)!

I came with a friend and was promptly and kindly, greeted and seated. Our server was Jessica. She was friendly without over doing it. I got the fiesta lime chicken and subbed rice with loaded mash and my friend got a southwest bowl. We both loved our meal. I haven't been to Applebee's in years, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Came in on a Saturday at around for and was immediately seated at a table, the server was kind and helpful (her name was jessica!) the food came in at a decent pace and was great! Afterwards the dessert came in aswell and was likewise delicious but a little on the smaller side for me since i have a sweet tooth, other than that it was a good experience.

It’s been a long while since visiting an Applebee’s for me family. We went to the Atwater place and was so pleasantly surprised and the warmth we received from the minute we walked in. I didn’t get the young man’s name but he was the greeter. Very sweet boy. Our waitress was Aliza I believe she was a breath of fresh air! They don’t make waitresses like this anymore. She joked with us she was singing and spiritual she couldn’t have been more outgoing! We got our food and it wasn’t amazing but it was very good. The manager was a women and she was veryvery attentive. I was surprised to see a manager out talking to staff and customers like she did. Much like the waitress she was friendly and outgoing. Joking with us and others. A younger gentleman actually vomited in the front while we were there and she came out and stopped the greeter and one of the back of store people from cleaning it I over heard her tell them they didn’t sign up to clean messes like that and she’d take care of it. My husband and I watched as she cleaned up the entire mess so with a smile on her face. She was amazing the way she talked to and spoke to the employees and interacted with bar guests makes me sad we don’t live locally and we’re just passing through. I wish we could come more often but we are coming back. I think those 3 need to be recognized and especially the manager because not many people in her position would stop her employees from such an awful task send take it in themselves. Quite impressive. A back of house person did come scrub the floor after she had the mess picked up. When I say scrubbed I mean he used a brush and elbow grease and really scrubbed that floor for about 15 minutes and made sure it was sanitized. WOW! Great job to the Applebees folks and their choice in who they have at their companies. Just really wanted to give credit where it’s due.

Although the place was a little bit noisy chaotic, you would say and the food took a little while to come out, I would like to thank Remy for always being a tentative to our table. She came by multiple times to assure us our order was on the way and she asked if we needed refills and she was nice to our kids. I have a daughter with special needs Who likes to scream and Remy understood and talk to her and even gave her one of her pens. She was really sweet. You guys have a really good server.

I live in San Jose and was passing through to get a bite. I asked to sit at the bar and I was served by a woman who was smiling and had piercings. She was very bubbly and sweet. Her name tag said “Alyssa” and she took my order quickly and grabbed me water and an empty pint glass. I requested an empty glass for my phone as a cell phone stand so I could stream. I stream on a few social media platforms. While I was waiting, another woman came over and asked if I was okay and if I needed anything. I politely declined and she mentioned she was the manager. Her name was “Heather”. I was so happy with my wonton tacos and iced tea, I didn’t realize that I had been there for almost 2 hours. It was refreshing to be in a restaurant where I felt like I was being treated like I was seen and appreciated. Keep up the good vibes. I will definitely be stopping by on my way home the next time I’m in town. Thanks again!

Applebee's tends to catch a lot of flack because it's a chain restaurant, but this one doesn't have that feel. The staff is inviting and friendly. The ever-changing menu is always full of great options, and the food is above average. Today, our waitress was attentive but not bothersome, full of smiles and positivity. My sandwich was perfect. Fresh and hot, bursting with flavor. The pub fries were fabulous. I highly recommend trying these while they are available, but don't let them sit. Eat them while the cheese is good and melty. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

First time I had been to an Applebee's in over a decade. Gotta say I was surprised on how the service was. The food was also great. I recommend this as a casual get together or place for a pretty decent dinner. Their deals are also pretty good.

I don't know what I was thinking. I wanted my girl to have the true American experience. Well she did with an Applebee's next to a Walmart in the middle of rural California. To be honest, nothing against the servers cause I've been one before. It was an off night. We ordered a drink and it didn't have fun shark gummys, my girlfriends drink was incorrect, and the bourbon chicken thing was tiny compared to my combo sampler for appetizers. Mid all around 4.5/10. Also the food literally just sustenance. Immature tip: get hammered here since it's cheap and the drinks are light on the alcohol.

Unfortunately I have to rate 2 stars for this visit. Very bad phone order experience with a very not so friendly gal taking my order. Then to top ot off got my meal wrong and had to return a second time to pick up my food properly made. P.s. the gal taking mu order gave me a fake name and the manager (Victor) was unable to identify who placed my order after some internal investigation. Usually a very good place, but my last experience is really gonna keep me away for a while. Hope they find the gal and remove her from phone and car orders.

We took our son after graduation they were understaffed. Our server walked around in circles he asked several times if he can get us anything else only to dissappear. We never got utensils we asked for water twice and it was never brought to us. Our drinks took 40 minimum to arrive! The appetizer arrived late and cold. Once we ordered our dinner it took another 45 minutes to arrive, and it was not worth the wait. Under the table there was so much garbage and food left from the people who had dinner at that table before we did!

Overall disappointing experience. The seats felt like they were sinking, as if I were in kid's trampoline house. Very uncomfortable. But the place looked very clean. Service was okay, I felt like the waiter was being short with us. But he was nice and respectful. Food was the worst thing here, appetizers were low quality. Quesadillas tasted really greasy, some of the others were flavorless. It's like it was a fast food place instead of a bar & grill. Entrées were bad, ordered chicken and shrimp. Shrimp was okay, chicken tasted burnt and dry. Over priced for such poor quality food.

Ther service was very slow but the staff was nice. The resturant was dirty and it smelled. Flies were buzzing around everywhere. My cup was dirty and the table was greasy.

Ordered an appetizer didn’t receive it till maybe 2 mins before our main course came out stale chips, dip is suppose to be creamy it was dry, ordered the tomato basil soup, definitely was not the soup I ordered watery looked like oil water croutons were so soggy it grew it’s obvious size you can tell it sat for a long time, I order this dish everytime and the chicken is suppose to be hot everything was cold! Was not going to return and wait again, one of my guest asked for a refill and finished his meal waited for the check then he finally received his refill….. secs before us leaving! Always disappointed coming here.

Been coming here for a while, every time we come the experience seems more and more frustrating than the last. Host walks us to table and before we could even ask for a high chair or sit down she is gone, and when we ask her for a high chair she just said give me a minute but was just walking around. In the end I went to find one. They had one waiter out there trying her best to serve everyone, and the others were no where to be seen. After about 45 minutes we finally got our food, which wasn’t too bad. Took forever on drinks, and you can just feel off vibes in the air. This isn’t the normal Applebee’s we used to come to but it definitely could have just been a really bad night for all the employees.

We told two different servers the meal wasn’t any good and they both just said. “oh, I’m sorry”. No one came to refill the drinks and we had to get someone for our bill. I’m sorry Applebee’s. You won’t see us again!!

This place is the definition of a dump. We came in at 1230 on a Saturday for lunch. There were MAYBE 3 other tables occupied and maybe one or two people at the bar. We waited ten minutes for someone to even acknowledge us and get our drinks. We ordered food immediately because it was obvious that the service was going to be terrible. We waited another 40 MINUTES for the first meal to arrive. Again, there were 3 other occupied tables at lunch time on a Saturday. During the wait for food, I went to the bathroom. It was a skating rink of urine on the floors and stall doors that didn’t lock. When the food arrived, it was TERRIBLE. The chicken was tough as rubber and the bacon was inedible. The only thing that wasn’t terrible was the French fries. We will never eat here again and can’t warn people enough to do the same.

Pulled up to carside to go. They were just staring at the door at us for a bit. Not friendly! Then the girl finally comes out slamming the door stomping, aggressively slamming the door, like we were bothering her. She seemed so angry. The food was packaged horribly all mixed together. Disappointing to eat and cold too. Wasn't ready when it said it would be on the tracker. I dont think well be going to applebees as a family anymore. Felt like we were just inconveniencing them for food, uh ok.. we'll get it somewhere else now, no worries. We tipped. Not sure about the aggression directed towards us.

Went to apple bees to celebrate my birthday! What a horrible night food came out wrong for the wife and my birthday dessert was served on a dirty greasy skillet. I thought I was going crazy tasting onion but nope burnt on food. Waitress just said " oh they were not supposed to serve it on that type of skillet supposed to be the round one." Disgusting and will be emailing any corporate person i can about this

We arrived to have lunch at 12:15pm order was placed at 12:20 . At 1pm we still hadn’t received our appetizer then they bring around the wrong app 2x . Our food was burnt and made incorrectly when informing the manager we didn’t get much positive response. Our appetizer was buffalo wings that came out with no sauce on them dry . My sister is allergic to purple onion her burger had them . This experience was so disappointing given how much we love apple bees . I definitely will not be returning to this location. Or recommending it . Oh and other customers that came got their food within 15 min and now our check is being withheld we are stuck here .

I took my oldest daughter and mother out to eat at Applebee's. They kept screwing up on our order. We weren't able to get a refill of our drink. If the place was packed I could understand. The place maybe had 10 to 12 people in total. Merced Applebee's is awesome. My last time going to atwaters location. Management needs more training how how to run the place. At least the food was good once we got the correct orders.

Tables are super sticky the food took forever! The restrooms are disgusting. Will not recommend. Everyone got their food at different times! My family did not get to eat together because food took forever to arrive and was cold!! This is by far the worst Applebees I have ever been to. I am Very disappointed the manager did not even come to apologize not even take to consideration the time everyone got there food! Customer service is lacking!!
