Opiniones de Corinne Austin
I ordered the 14 oz wagyu ribeye with red chili flake truffle butter and the shrimp on the side. For desert, I had vanilla creme brule with chocolate biscotti. Everything tasted great and Hunter was a good waiter.
Our server, Cole was amazing! He was professional, personable and so very kind. Not to mention, our drinks were wonderful! The atmosphere and service were top tier!
Corinne was amazing! The food was spectacular, cocktails - fun and fab! And our server - Chris, could not be any more personable, professional and customer service centric! We will be back!
The food was stellar; Skylar was an amazing server. Thank you!!! Braised Wagyu and Redfish amazing. Definitely get the bread rolls!!!
Such a fabulous dinner experience! Every course was a hit, from the appetizers to dessert. must-try spots around the city, which we really appreciated. The menu was packed with options that sounded amazing, but we started with the crab croquettes and they were fantastic—crispy, flavorful, and gone way too fast. For our mains, we chose the Diver Scallops and the wild Mushroom Bolognese with shrimp. Both dishes were excellent. The seafood was super fresh, and the sauces were packed with flavor without overpowering the ingredients. You can tell the kitchen pays attention to detail. Between the food and the service, it was a memorable meal all around. We’ll definitely be back to try more.
Alex was SO amazing. His recommendations were spot on and service was impeccable. He recommended the Gooey Butter Cake for dessert and it was possibly the best dessert I’ve ever had. Would absolutely come back!
Very comfortable and welcoming place. Elegant yet relaxed interior design. Food was excellent all around, starting with a bowl of parsnip soup, followed by the main courses of braised Wagyu beef and the mushroom Bolognese rigatoni pasta. We shared everything and it was the perfect amount of food for two people, and a lovely anniversary dinner. Our server Hunter was very thoughtful and genuine from start to finish, despite it being a very busy Friday night. Highly recommended! Chocolate Biscotti served with the creme brulee is outstanding.
This dining experience was fantastic. Ellie is such an incredibly lady! She is sweet and kind and a gracious host at her job! The Filet Mignon with roasted mushrooms, asparagus, and mashed potatoes was delicious! The Parker hand rolls were to die for. So decadent and absolutely yummy. The Old Fashioned was seasonal with pumpkin, very smooth with a touch of sweetness. Finale had to be the Ooey Gooey cake with vanilla ice cream that was so good! I recommend anyone to come here and ask for Ellie to be your server. She is great! Thank you Austin for embracing me on my first time visiting the city.
Food is very good. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. Server Ellie was so wonderful, great energy and very attentive. Updating this review, third time back this week. The food is excellent. Came for dinner this time. The Braised Wagyu was so tender and the carrots were so flavorful. Buffalo Cauliflower was a big hit and the broccolini with the chicken was so flavorful. Skylar was so pleasant and gave great recommendations.
Beautiful restaurant located inside the Marriott hotel. We had great drinks from the bar. The food is incredible! I had the half chicken with pommes puree and broccolini. So flavorful! My husband had the Braised wagyu and it was delicious! He ate every last bit of that plate! Lol. For desert we had the caramel bread pudding. It was thinner than expected but the flavor was out of this world! We thoroughly enjoyed our romantic evening. The restaurant is beautiful.
Ellie provided us with a great friendly service. Make us feel welcome. She assist me with my gluten free diet and help us with our options to enjoy our dinner experience. The food is amazing and tasty, we had avocado hummus, fish tacos replacing tprtilla with lettuce a. Wagyu burger with fresh fries. We end up with mango and raspberry sorbet. I have no doubt giving 5 stars to flavor, presentation, portions and menu. 10 starts to Eleanor "Ellie". I will definitively will come back!
Corinne has been a great place to stop for brunch on our visit for ACL. Our server, Ellie, created a lovely experience through her sweet, helpful, bubbly personality, making sure to answer any questions about the menu and even giving us local tips to make our travel experience better over all! 10/10 I would definitely come back!
My family and I visited Austin from Newfoundland last month, and Corinne was a highlight of our stay at the Downtown Marriott. Ellie served us twice while we were there and she was wonderful. She listened carefully to our families allergies and made sure our food was safe. Her suggestions from the menu suited us well—the breakfast biscuits are a must. Thank you, Ellie, and everyone else at Corinne. We will be back!
Fabulous meal from apps to dessert. Kudos to our server Skylar who not only provide top notch service but gave us a list of recommendations for the city! So may things on the menu sounded great. We started with the crab croquettes which perfect. For the mains, Diver Scallops and the wild Mushroom Bolognese with shrimp. The seafood was so fresh and both sauces were tasty. Finished with the gooey butter cake topped with ice cream. I’d never had butter cake before but I’ll be sure to order it again as this was to die for. Wednesday night is also 1/2 price bottles of wine so we were able to enjoy a high quality bottle of wine for a very reasonable price.

If you’re in Austin and want a restaurant that truly exceeds expectations—especially for a hotel spot—Corinne Austin absolutely delivers. The Buffalo cauliflower is a must-order. Perfectly crispy with just the right kick, it’s packed with flavor and anything but ordinary. The wild mushroom Bolognese is rich, hearty, and beautifully balanced — comforting without being heavy. Adding the meatballs on the side takes it to another level and makes the dish feel complete.
Serive was quick and efficient. We tried the biscuits and the Chilaquiles Verdes. Biscuits were okay. A bit over done, hard and oily. The chilaquiles were good. The verde sauce was flavorful and so was the lime crema. Mimosa juice was fresh. A bit overpriced for a basic breakfast but better than IHop.

Okay food at a high price. The mushroom bologonese was pretty good, but it was $8 to add approximately 2 oz worth of chicken. The mushroom added a complexity to the dish that was much appreciated. The bread pudding was a big disappointment. Not sure how it made it on the "best bread puddings of Austin" list, but it shouldn't be. If you are staying in the hotel for a business reason, it is a decent place to get food with coworkers. But if you are on your own dime, go elsewhere.
This place overall is receiving a three stars from me mainly because of the food. The service was good, I believe our server name was Skylar, hands-down, was amazing! This review has nothing to do with her or the service. I loved her attitude, I loved how she answered all of our questions, she is absolutely an angel! But as far as the food, I wasn’t really pleased. Majority of my food was super salty, and someone else in my party had to send part of their food back. I was expecting a little bit more based on the reviews, but it was OK. (This is just my personal opinion, and preference. If you’re someone who loves salt, mainly, or uses salt as a main seasoning aside from other seasoning, then you won’t find an issue with the food. Or if you’re someone who prefers less season, but more charred taste, than this place would be for you)
