Opiniones de Four Five Six Austin
Super cute place, staff was friendly and had no complaints making our specific drinks (we are kinda picky ha)- And a free pool table !! Lots of space inside and outside to chitchat with great tunes. (another plus: the bathrooms were super clean) We tried one of their specials I believe it was called Midsommar , super refreshing drink with framboise. Definitely now one of my favorite neighborhood spots in Austin. (and some free cigs from the bar- can’t really beat that!)
Sick place! Great happy hour and the vibes are killer
Best bar in Austin! Make sure to check out the happy hour! Free pool, nearly free drinks!

This place is new but it's cool. Very laid back vibe and the drinks are reasonably priced. I enjoyed just hanging out a few hours before dinner. this is what an austin bar should be!
I love this bar and I love Tommy Wants Wingy in the back. The other day DoorDash directed me to the wrong spot and took my order. I was so tired and there was no way in hell I was driving to S Lamar. I told the dudes what happened and they helped me with everything. I know it’s small but I was tired and I was so stoked. Dude even brought it to me. The bartenders are chill and the interior is just straight cool. The pool tables are a huge plus along with the sickest happy hour. Really happy they’re utilizing the space and not bringing “pretentious cool guy bar” vibes like a lot of others. They don’t have to perform.
Perfect neighborhood bar. Great happy hour, great atmosphere, free pool table, never too loud, never too quiet and the staff is the bomb. Quick service and tons of space inside and on the patio. Only bar I’ve been to that nails the classic Americana feel without getting cheesy. Free cigarettes, free dog treats, and free jukebox because these guys like to have a good time.
Four Five Six is the kind of dive bar that makes Austin special. The vibe is laid-back and local, with friendly faces all around. Their drink specials are some of the best in town, making it a great spot to grab a round without breaking the bank. The pool tables keep the energy fun and social, and the music always sets the perfect backdrop. If you’re looking for a no-frills spot with character, great prices, and a true Austin feel—this is it.
I’ve been here a few times and have had the best time. Free pool? Check. Great happy hour? Check. Great service from Tatter? Absolutely check. Don’t even get me started on the decor. Appreciate ya! Shall come again and be a regular
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10! BLAST OFF. Best night of my whole life. Better than my wedding and the birth of my first child combined.
I live right down the road. I’ve been waiting for this spot to be something cool and yea, they did it. Fraziers is my spot but ever since I looked at the menu here and seeing everything not cost an arm and a leg I was stoked. The inside is sick and looks like they’re going to open a food truck out back. Man, just so happy to be so close to a spot where I can get a beer for $4 and not have a &100 tab at the end of the night. Biggest win on the east side in awhile.
Great bartenders. Great back bar. Old school vibes. Great music.
This place is so much fun. Great people and my friends and I already said we’re gonna be coming back!
very cool new lesbian spot. cheap drinks, pool table, 10/10 , gave my fren free ice cream one time. alsoooo let me have a free ciggy!
Love this bar!!! Beautifully decorated, great prices, & they have live music! It’s got tons of character.
The vibes and drink prices are unmatched, so happy this place opened up in the neighborhood! The jukebox is a must see

Love the vibe. Love the billiards. Solid crowd. It’s a 4.5 from me.
Review of Four Five Six – A Promising Newcomer with Old Austin Soul Just stopped into Four Five Six, one of East Austin’s newest bars, and I have to say—it’s already showing serious promise. Tucked into a low-key stretch with an easygoing vibe, this spot delivers that rare old Austin charm that’s getting harder to find these days. The space feels warm, unfussy, and authentic, like the kind of place you'd want to become your neighborhood go-to. What really stands out right now are the happy hour deals—they’re generous, well-priced, and a great way to ease into the evening. Whether you’re sipping a beer on the patio or chatting up the friendly staff inside, it’s easy on the wallet and big on atmosphere. The cocktail menu isn’t available just yet, but it’s in the works and expected soon. Until then, the bar is leaning into approachable pours and laid-back service, and that’s part of the charm for now. All in all, this place has serious potential. It’s fresh, full of character, and worth supporting while they find their rhythm. If you’re into discovering bars before they blow up, this one’s for you.
We came on opening day and my takeaway is they need a little polishing but I would 100% come out again! The vibe is chill and retro; think Mama Dearest but without the creepy doll/skin lamps/incest vibe . We bombed the place with 8 people right at open so things were a little hectic but the bartender was friendly and accommodating with the happy hour specials, giving us alternate beers at the same price since the one we wanted wasn't cold. The parking is limited but the street behind it has more free spots- just keep an eye on the parking signs. There apparently will be a food truck but it wasn't open at the time we visited. Space was fun, music was great, the seating was comfortable, and the price sure was right! Give this place a try! Bonus points if you take pics of the basketball playing lynx because I completely forgot to lol! Edit: seriously keep an eye on the parking signs! We parked on the side street (Adam L Chapa), accidentally in front of someone’s side gate- NOT a driveway- and they squirted mustard on my hood and drivers door :/ I swear I didn’t see a sign when we parked but there was a personal “no parking” sign on the gate when we returned. Frustrating thing is there was a dude in the back yard when we parked and he didn’t say anything to us…
Very small coffee bar with limited food selection. Regular tables and high top long seating bar. Great selection of coffee drinks
