Looking for one of a kind Mezcal and Tequila experience? Stop in and see the expert Paublo. We have been several times and each time we are trying something new and delicious. Along with insight into what we are having and what to expect. Preference is to let Paublo take you on a agave spirit ride !!!!! Don’t forget to order Tacos from Asador. The Mushroom Mole….You can’t live without!!!! Best Taco in Austin.
Absolutely incredible experience! This was my second visit, and it blew the first one out of the water—thanks entirely to Pablo. We spent a couple of hours deep-diving into the world of tequila, and let me tell you: this man is a master. His passion, knowledge, and storytelling made the entire experience unforgettable. If Pablo’s around the next time I’m in Austin, there’s no question—I’ll be back in a heartbeat. Don’t miss the chance to learn from him!
Excellent selection of agave spirits, tequila and mezcals with a witty and well educated staff. Pablo is a great concierge for an evening here. A smoking patio is out back where cigars are available and able to be enjoyed.
Great place with cute patio and delicious micheladas! Me and my friends really liked their green bar inside of Las Perlas. We choose patio for our quick dinner snack and we really liked it. The tacos were delicious and I was so glad that they have micheladas there! It is one of my favorite beverages! Want to come back one time
Just as good as the one in LA. Had no idea TX woulda had their own Las Perlas. Drinks are awesome, Latin music in the back, this one is actually joined with Seven Grand and Caña in a shared background outside. Really cool concept, nice bartenders.
On the side of this building, it is written “ Best margarita in Austin” or something to that effect, is what peaked my interest and got me through the front door. I ordered the regular margarita, Ronnie, the bartender, was personable, and knowledgeable about the menu. The margarita was decent, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to drink one here. Since this venue is downtown, street parking or a parking garage might be the best option. This bar is close to a comedy club and other downtown attractions.
Very unique space they have at this bar. Had a really good time at a party, DJ Milo was great, the music was so good. The space is very funky, we have rabbits painting on the wall. The cocktails at this bar are very well prepared, I was not expecting that. My drink was very delicious, and they have tacos outback by the patio. Las Perlas has easy access to the bar next door if you go through the back, so that’s great. Really fun spot located on seventh Street.
In town for a business trip and the company decided to have happy hour here. Las Perlas did not disappoint! The spiced jalapeño margaritas was amazing. The brisket and carnitas tacos take the cake!! I think I’ll go back before leaving town.

New patio updated and remodeled! It's a great vibe for cocktails and tacos by Asador Tacos, outdooor kitchen on the patio. Bartenders are great and cocktail menu has some amazing options to pick from.
People talk down on the bartender service but tonight for St.Patty’s it was such a great time. I was nervous for my first time but it was phenomenal! Not busy at all so maybe it’s because the bartender wasn’t overwhelmed. Classic Mexica music jams were the vibes and to the bartender wearing the kilt, you rocked that! Friendly and the bandero shots were so good. I was skeptical about the lime juice but the bartender gave it to me in order. Lime juice to cleanse the pallet, followed by the mezcal shot and then the sangrita mix was so delicious! Highly recommend. Thank you for the experience! Will be back soon!
Very cool set up, three distinct bars (Mezcal/tequila bar, rum bar, and a whiskey) at one venue. All made great drinks but Las Perlas is my top choice. There's also a small menu but delicious taco stand in the shared, multilevel courtyard. It's all you need for a good night.
Banderra shots are my go to here. Mezcal or Tequila they both go down smooth.
I had my first bandera shot here! So delicious, I’m craving it. I love the intimacy of this place. The bartender (I wish I could remember her name) was very personable and attentive. Not to mention she was the only one working the bar at this time. There is an unsuspecting large back partial with fans and tables which changes up the vibe if you were into that. We also learned that next door was a whiskey bar and you could use your same tab over there which is awesome! On memorial day they were giving away free tacos, super cool. Definitely one my favorites list!

June 2025: Mezcal and tequila bar. Many options, the bartender I talked to was friendly and seemed to be educated on the subject. They have an indoor bar area that's dimly lit and classy, and an outdoor back area also. On 7th street near Red River. I think they also have tacos But not at the main bar and can't speak to them.
The best happy hour in town! (If you like margaritas) They have a yummy [well] guava margarita during happy hour that is just a little too easy to drink. Tacos out back are also really good. My only gripe is service is a hit or miss. Multiple times the bartender has given us attitude when we didn’t give them a reason to treat us like that. But it won’t stop me from coming back.
Fun spot during sxsw. Always solid tacos. It's a smaller space but never disappoints. Recommend on a normal Austin day anytime. Bartenders are always nice too.

Yes the place is cute, yes the food in the back is tasty, the music can be on point as well at times, but the service just puts you in a bad mood. Not to mention they use these massive old fashioned / rocks glasses with big blocked ice, that prompts cocktails to be served almost HALF FULL (See both pictures, two different times). I get the 'reasoning' behind it, it just looks bad. Not sure why the business owner(s) haven't adjusted that, I know I would. Overall decent place to visit, just gotta have the patience of an elephant to deal with the bartenders. Pros: Happy Hour everyday (I believe), huge array of mezcales, great outdoor patio, easy access to other 2 bars.

Staff first dismissed it as "an Austin thing", but we pointed out we live in Austin and this $4 was added beyond all taxes and beyond the total they told us. They became angry, eventually refunded us, suggested we leave, and screamed at us "have the day you deserve". Never experienced this locally. Would never go back.
