After eight years with you all, I just want to express my gratitude for everything you've done for my dog, Marco. After so many surgeries, treatments, hospitalizations, and procedures... his time has finally come. I can only say thank you to everyone 🫂 because you are all incredibly professional. I especially want to highlight your humanity and empathy. Marco loved Izaskun a lot, haha 💖 Thank you because I know you did everything you could. So I encourage everyone to bring their pets to this vet because you can rest assured that they will do everything possible to heal your beloved pet. If I ever get another dog, I will definitely bring him back. Thank you all so much, take care. Sheila and Arjan
Thank you so much, ladies! The care and attention my dogs received was outstanding. I had been there before, but I had to go in an emergency because my dogs ate a ton of chocolate! They needed three vets for my dogs—not only was the professionalism amazing, but the love with which they treated them was incredible! Thank you so much for everything.
We took our little Samoyed to the vet today for an emergency visit, and the care was excellent. The vets were very friendly and gave him a thorough check-up. They were completely honest with us, both the good and the bad, and provided solutions, alternatives, and options. The clinic is huge, with separate areas for dogs and cats, which is great for the animals. They were very professional, and the report explained absolutely everything. It was truly fantastic, and we are incredibly grateful because, like anyone, it's always scary to see your furry friend unwell or acting strangely. The price didn't seem excessive at all, considering everything they did and the fact that it was outside of normal hours. We definitely recommend them.
My little one just had to go, and I can only thank the entire Mascosan team from the bottom of my heart for their help and empathy throughout the whole process. Honestly, after this, I don't know if I'll ever be ready to have another furry friend, but if it happens, I know for sure that Mascosan will be the only veterinary clinic I go to. Thank you for everything, and a big hug, especially to Pablo and Gabino for their kindness and empathy.
Today has been the saddest day for our family. We've had to make the hardest decision of our lives so far. And thanks to the immense empathy shown by your entire team, it has been more bearable. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Never change.
We went to the emergency room with our baby bunny. Every other clinic in Bizkaia refused to treat us because it's an exotic animal, but at this hospital the care was outstanding. Jasmine and Gabino are lovely, their treatment and kindness are unbeatable, Gabino is a true professional, thank you so much ♥️
He's a very professional veterinarian; if you take your pet there for any reason, you have a good guarantee that everything will be fine. He has modern facilities equipped with the latest technology. The service is excellent and sincere.
I can't thank Nayara enough for everything she's done for Blue. She was the only one who persisted until we found out what was really wrong with him, and thanks to her perseverance, we discovered he had a stone. If it weren't for her, we might not have known in time. Today, Blue is doing well, recovering and happy, and it's all thanks to her. She's an incredible professional and an even better person. Eternally grateful 🐾💙
It's hard for me to write this review because we had to say goodbye to our little mouse, called serotonin, we went for a kind of comedone but the vet who attended us found an ulcerated tumor that we hadn't even seen, always super kind informing us about all our options, in the end we decided to operate and today in the morning it was the little critter's turn to go into the operating room, everything went super well and very reassuring, in the end the rat survived the operation but hours later while waking up from the anesthesia and due to age (two and a half years) it was not able to wake up completely, they have accompanied us in an incredible way, especially one of the girls at reception, who has been talking to us, thank you very much to all the vets and receptionists who have attended to us
We are incredibly grateful for the speed and empathy with which they received us in our emergency. Both Álvaro and Sergio deserve recognition for their knowledge and professionalism; they patiently answered our questions and provided us with new treatment guidelines. We recommend them wholeheartedly. THANK YOU 🙏🏼
Thank you to the whole team, but especially to Sergio, who took care of us from the very beginning and was incredibly kind to my cat, Yuumi, who was admitted with a severe asthma attack and was very unwell. He called me every day to give me an update, as did another colleague on the last day, and they were both wonderful. Thank you so much for helping Yuumi. :)
It's been difficult for me to write this review because saying goodbye to my cat Zuri has been (and continues to be) incredibly hard. Thanks to this wonderful team of people, I've been able to cope, and they've made such a difficult time even sweeter. Eternal thanks to Ignacio and Víctor, and to the vet with whom I said goodbye to Zuri (I don't remember your name, but you were an angel, THANK YOU!) and to the reception staff who have always treated me with such kindness and empathy. You are a fantastic team. My other cat, Luna, is still with me thanks to you, who saved her life a few months ago.
Amazing vet who helped our sick dog right off the ferry on a Sunday. Really went above and beyond to make sure he was sorted out so we could continue our journey. We were so grateful!
First and last time I'll ever go to this place. I went this morning (I had an appointment a month ago) to see an ophthalmologist. I had to bother people who live far away to give me a ride, I had to ask for time off work to be able to go, I had to make several arrangements to bring my dog. Imagine my surprise when we finally got to be seen! We were attended to by a girl who wasn't a specialist. I have to say that from the beginning she agreed with my frustration regarding the appointment, which didn't specify that I had to see the ophthalmologist, until I said I didn't think it was fair to be charged for the consultation. Then her tone changed completely. She called a manager, who, in addition to being rather raised in her tone when speaking to me (and the fact that I hadn't paid until that moment, she had agreed with my anger), couldn't offer me any solution other than to see me another day. While I understand that their time is important, so is everyone else's. I was charged for a consultation for something that wasn't the reason I came, and I left exactly as I arrived, with the same information I could have had beforehand. All of this could have been avoided with at least a simple phone call to inform me of the situation ("Hey, you had an appointment with this specialist, but they can't see you because they're performing emergency surgery, we're sorry," for example). The entire situation was very poorly managed by the center: poor communication, poor service as soon as a problem arose, and to top it all off, I had to endure yet another rudeness from the receptionist, who didn't even have the courtesy to say goodbye, leaving me hanging. I would never take my dog here for anything important (like surgery, an emergency, etc.). I don't even want to think about how they must behave if a more serious problem arises, how they must handle those situations. This is the first time in my life I've had to file a complaint. Of course, I'll tell everyone about this incident. Leaving the way I did, and on top of that, paying for it. Disappointed with everything about this center is an understatement.
The treatment of my daughter's pet after its death was inhumane. They were very tactless in delivering the news. And when they saw my daughter crying, all they did was tell us to please leave immediately. They kept us inside the doctor's office for literally half a minute.
My experience with this clinic was very difficult. I took my dog in critical condition, and while the care was adequate, the communication was neither clear nor consistent. On the day she died, I was verbally informed that she had tested positive for parvovirus, while the following day, the official report clearly stated she was negative. This contradiction at such a delicate moment caused me a great deal of anguish and confusion. I was also told that my dog "barked" as we left, which indicated improvement, even though I was present and know that this did not happen. I understand that human error can occur, but in situations like this, information must be accurate and verified. From a clinical standpoint, I don't question the effort, but I do ask for more rigor and care in communication with families, especially when they are going through a loss. I already went in person to ask for explanations, and no clarity was provided. Therefore, I would prefer that you not respond with a standard message, but rather take note of this to improve communication in similar cases. Hopefully, this review will help improve the information provided to other tutors who find themselves in similar difficult situations.
I took my dog to the emergency vet, and the care I received from the vet who works nights there was completely inappropriate. From the very first moment, she was rude, dismissive, defensive, and had a clear air of arrogance and superiority, explaining the cost and procedures in a cold, abrupt, and utterly unempathetic manner. I needed calm and compassion, not a condescending and condescending tone. She also made irrelevant, completely out-of-place, and exaggerated comments, including saying that my dog "might die" without needing to phrase it that way, and in such a disrespectful tone that it seemed more like an attempt to impose her will than to inform. Throughout the entire conversation, she maintained a know-it-all, sneering, and completely unnecessary tone. I repeated a basic question a second time to try to understand the situation, and she threw it back in my face, attacking me with an arrogance completely out of place in any context. She told me I was very nervous and asked why I had to ask the same thing twice, when I wasn't nervous at all: I was apathetic, in shock, and quite stunned, trying to process what I had just heard. She also made inappropriate comments, eventually bringing up the dog's food, saying things like, "I only work in the emergency room and I see a lot of cases," "Believe me, you'll be back," "You'll always come back here," "I know what I'm talking about." Aggressive and overbearing comments, delivered in a superior tone and completely nonsensical in that context. The most surreal thing happened when I was paying. As I swiped my card (€500), the vet leaned over to check the card reader to see if it asked for a PIN, and when it didn't, she forced me to sign the receipt, write my ID number, and also sign the estimate. All this after I've been to the center several times, they have my file, and they know perfectly well that I've always paid without any problem. This is a completely unjustified act of distrust, and something that doesn't happen anywhere else: nobody forces you to sign after the card reader has accepted a card payment. All things considered, it's clear that this person isn't normal, that they're not well, and certainly that they don't know how to treat patients and owners with even a minimum of professionalism and humanity.
For over two years, every time we went, we asked if our dog needed a dental cleaning. A 5-year-old Maltese Bichon. The answer has always been no, that it wasn't necessary, that her mouth was fine. Until this summer, when we were told, "No rush, but we could still start thinking about getting her teeth cleaned." That would be in July. When we returned from vacation, we made an appointment, and since it wasn't urgent, they gave us October 21st. Well, to my surprise, when I went to pick Cora up, I was told that two molars were loose and that she had two front teeth and at least one other molar that met the requirements for extraction. And that another one was in doubt. Excuse me? Wasn't everything okay? Apparently, my dog is going to lose at least four teeth, even though according to you, everything was fine and there was no rush to get her cleaning. Could this have been avoided with a little more care, attention, and professionalism? Almost certainly. But it's much easier to just say "everything's fine" than to bother with an X-ray and actually make sure. And just as I told Ignacio, I'm left with the feeling that, given the result and the state of my dog's mouth, the work the team has been doing is absolute garbage. There was neglect and a lack of desire to do things properly, and my dog is the one who's going to pay the consequences. Simply shameful. A little genuine interest would have been enough to reassure us that she wouldn't lose any teeth. And all due to incompetence and lack of professionalism.
Hello, I want to share my discomfort with this clinic. On September 30th, I took my daughter Luna because she lost mobility in her hind legs. They recommended that I have a CT scan if I was going to operate on her. I accepted because, to me, she was my baby. The exam revealed two herniated discs. They suggested that I operate immediately to save my baby. I didn't hesitate and paid what they told me. They told me that the surgery would be performed on Wednesday afternoons, that I would be hospitalized for one day, and that they would release her to me. But it wasn't like that, the dog had surgery and when we visited her they told us that everything went well. The next day they told us that the dog had to stay the whole weekend, about 5 more days because they were doing therapy and that she still didn't have feeling in her paws. But 4 days later on Sunday they called us in the morning to give us a medical report. They told us that she was fine and in the afternoon they told us that she seemed a little delicate and that we should come closer. I live about 20 minutes from the vet. When we arrived they didn't hand her over dead, where they told us that they didn't know what happened to the doctor on duty. I feel that the story is missing a part that for obvious reasons the clinic is not going to tell me, they were only concerned with making the bills effective, I asked the doctor who handled my baby's entire process to give me an answer and to this day I know nothing, I have a 10 year old boy who only asks about his dog, which has been very difficult to handle and even more so when there are more doubts, I feel that out of respect and professionalism the information should have been more humane and clearer.
