Me encanta este sitio. Tiene varios bares diferentes para tomar algo. El ambiente es muy chulo y merece la pena entrar a verlo aunque sea.

A great spot in the heart of the city with a lively, vibrant atmosphere. El Nacional is perfect for group dinners thanks to its variety of concepts under one roof. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend the fish and seafood restaurant (La Llotja). The quality of the seafood is excellent — especially the octopus, mussels, and oysters — and it’s a reliable choice if you’re in the mood for well-prepared Mediterranean fish dishes. The atmosphere is energetic and can get quite loud when busy, but that’s part of the charm. Overall, a very good dining experience and a strong recommendation, particularly for seafood lovers.

The entire place was amazing, each different eating and drinking area were incredible. We ate at Le Braseria, had a delicious meal of rice, prawns & rib fillet, then moved on to some incredible cocktails and people watching. The whole afternoon was incredible. However, we felt we had to keep getting the waiters attention, in all fairness it was very busy.

Came to El National most days over Christmas 2025. We have eaten here in the designated restaurants a few times, but we have so enjoyed the Cocktail bar and the brilliant staff. The streak house restaurant we tried twice. The first time we had a cockeral and lamb dish. These were both superb. The deserts were a little disappointing. But the mains were both excellent. Then we returned for a steak. These are expensive compared to the UK but it was Christmas and we expected to be delighted with a super steak as it was around €180.00 for the two of us. Tbh, it was very disappointing and we both said we would have rather had the cockeral and lamb again. Not because of cost difference, but quality of the steak. It was poor. The fat needed to be rendered more, and chewy is an understatement. It really was unpleasant. The staff were brilliant and friendly, the atmosphere was excellent, just the food let us down. But it didn't stop us returning to the venue and enjoying the cocktails and the seafood restaurant section. The tapas from the cocktail bar is the same as the center island service and is very tasty with the best tortilla or Spanish omelette for us from the UK we have ever had. It tastes very much like a quiche. Juan who is one of the best bartenders we have ever encountered anywhere and works in the cocktail bar is excellent and remembers your drink order from the getgo. Return a following night and he knows what you want. I know that we are in Barcelona, but the English language spoken by all the staff is excellent, so it does help, as our Spanish is not as good, but ordering in English is not an issue at all. The whole place is a fantastic venue and good value for money in most things. Instagram will show you the photo's of the many who came to just grab a picture inside. The design team should be proud of what they achieved as should the owners, having taken a former car park garage and turning it into a venue any city in the world would appreciate. Thanks for the memories El National Barcelona. It was appreciated.

Great vibe and Manel our waiter was attentive, fast and gave great advice. All kinds of fabulous Spanish food. The hardest part was selecting which restaurant to dine in. There is an Italian concept, fresh seafood, steak Grill, and we opted for the tapas. Every dish was great. The plate of Iberico Jamon was incredible. Highly recommended

The atmosphere is truly impressive and has a very engaging feel. There are plenty of food and drink options inside. However, the prices are noticeably higher compared to restaurants outside. Overall, the concept is well thought out and the place is nicely designed.

El Nacional Barcelona is absolutely beautiful. This place houses a few restaurants, the names can be found online, each specialising in certain cuisine. Food is pretty good, but people visit the place to take photos. A must-go for pretty photos on IG.

We had lunch at El Nacional in Barcelona and it was a great experience from start to finish. We had a reservation at the Brasseria, and it was absolutely worth it. We ordered the Vaca Vieja and it was incredibly tasty, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Before sitting down, we stopped at the wine bar for an aperitif, which was a lovely way to start the meal and set the mood. The Christmas decorations made the whole place feel even more special, cozy, and festive. A great spot to enjoy good food, good wine, and a beautiful atmosphere all in one place.

The place has a unique, vintage atmosphere, especially during christmas time. I really loved the adapted space from the ex-parking lot and unusual restrooms. The prices of the drinks are quite high, but not overwhelming.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. El Nacional is a unique concept with several dining spaces under one roof, and the seafood section is truly a gem for anyone who loves fresh and flavorful dishes. The food was outstanding. Every plate I tried was prepared with care and attention to detail. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. It’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in delivering high-quality dishes that showcase the best of Mediterranean seafood. The presentation was also beautiful, making the meal feel special. What really made the experience memorable was the service. The staff was courteous, professional, and very attentive without being intrusive. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions, which made me feel well taken care of throughout the meal. Dining alone can sometimes feel awkward, but here I felt completely comfortable and welcomed. If you are in Barcelona and want an exceptional seafood experience in a stylish setting, El Nacional is the place to go. Highly recommended!

As we do, we were exploring and came across an inviting walkway leading to El National. I would describe El National as an upscale food court. We found prices to be reasonable and enjoyed sitting at the wine bar and watching all the activity.

No fue una gran experiencia. La mayoría de los locales estaban llenos y otros tenían poco surtido. Cenamos en el restaurante de pescado y comimos bien pero el precio es excesivo para las cantidades que ponen de algunos productos. En general, estuvo bien pero es mejorable.

Espacio ideal para tomar algo y comer/cenar. Las barras suelen estar bastante llenas por lo que recomendaría reservar. Tienes varios espacios donde comer y siempre que he ido la calidad ha sido buena aunque el precio no suele ser barato. Recomendable para ir en pareja o con amigos, aunque no para familias

Hoy hemos probado la comida en este famoso restaurante, para comprobar la calidad y frescura de sus productos. En concreto, comenzamos con un surtido de croquetas de marisco y chipirones en su tinta, las cuales estaban sabrosas y crujientes. Continuamos con una paella de pescado y marisco, cuyos ingredientes estaban muy frescos y el arroz estaba bien cocido y gustoso. Los postres, probamos el bizcocho Larpeira con crema catalana quemada y tarta de queso vasca con crema de membrillo, los cuales tenían un sabor conseguido. También probamos el xuxo de Girona con chocolate exquisito. Todos los platos estaban muy bien presentados, con mucho detalle. El trato recibido por el personal, desde la recepcionista de la entrada, hasta nuestra marcha, ha sido constante, haciéndonos sentir una experiencia agradable,sin invadir nuestro espacio personal. Especial mención a Gery y Juan José, quienes con su amabilidad, han hecho que hoy sea un día diferente en nuestras vidas. Pudimos mantener una conversación privada sin tener que gritar, y la música ambiente estaba equilibrada, sin estridencias. Sin dudar, no lo dejéis pasar en vuestras visitas a Barcelona. El Nacional os sorprenderá. Nosotros, seguro que volveremos.

Un lugar precioso, muy bien decorado y ambientado. Los productos del bar central (el primero entrando desde paseo de Gracia) muy ricos. Todos los locales son de gran calidad y muy buena atención. Hablan varios idiomas. Peeeeero, es para bolsillos generosos. Una caña 3,60€ 🤷

La verdad es un lugar espectacular, lleno de Barcelona desde el amor a los detalles hasta la deliciosa comida. Yo fui a la Brasero, la atención fue muy buena pero el mesonero no hizo mucho caso a mi pedido.. le solicité un plato de pulpo y trajo dos, al final lo comimos porque había un show y pasamos más tiempo pero recomiendo estar atentos. De lo demás es genial y también recomiendo el área de comida Marina es muy rica.

Lovely vibe from the moment you enter. We had lunch at “La Taperia” and everything was good but not great considered what you pay. So you don’t really get what you pay for. We enjoyed the seafood paella and the desserts. The selection of appetizers could be improved.

I love the vibe, decorations and the lights. I went to a restaurant LA LLOTJA specialized in seafoods. The food was ordinary and good, nothing so special. The dessert was 9,50 and a bit disappointing. It’s quite expensive dining here. I’d recommend this place for drinks and small tapas.

Really enjoyed the food here, everything was flavorful and clearly well prepared. The atmosphere was a big highlight too: warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed meal. The service was okay. Not bad, but a bit slower and less attentive than expected. Overall, a great spot for the food and ambiance, and with a little improvement in service it would be excellent.

El Nacional Barcelona is an impressive and unique dining venue that stands out for its amazing architecture and stunning interior design. The decorations and lighting create a warm, elegant atmosphere that makes the visit worthwhile on its own. Inside, there are several restaurants and bars, each offering a different culinary experience, which adds to the charm and variety of the place. We chose to eat at the tapas restaurant, and while the presentation was nice, the food was only average and didn’t quite match the high-end setting. The prices were somewhat on the expensive side, especially considering the quality of the dishes. However, the ambiance and style of the venue make it a great spot to stop by for a few drinks or light bites. It’s an ideal place to enjoy the atmosphere and people-watch, even if you decide to dine elsewhere afterward. Overall, El Nacional is more about the experience and setting than the food itself, but it’s definitely worth a visit while in Barcelona.

Located off a bustling street in a touristy part of town, it shouldn’t surprise you that the beautifully decorated El Nacional is packed with tourists. The food quality is decent and we enjoyed all the tapas we tried. This is a reliable tapas restaurant in a central location and we really enjoyed it.

Caminando por Paseo de Gracia en Barcelona está este emblemático lugar. Su arquitectura es bonita, vanguardista y ecléctica. En el interior hay diversas ofertas gastronómicas: mariscos, carnes, vinos, cocteles, helados… Los precios son variados, al igual que la calidad y servicio. El ambiente es acogedor y cosmopolita. Sin duda un imperdible si vas a Barcelona. Importante hacer reserva está saturado en horas pico.

Un sitio muy especial y que merece mucho la pena visitar, aunque sea para tomarse una cerveza o un café. La comida buenísima y el trato bueno. Los precios desorbitados y las cantidades bastante limitadas para el exceso de precio que son. 3 REBANADAS ENANAS de pan = 4,50€. Una hamburguesa sola (sin pan ni lechuga o tomate: 24€...). Deja que desear en ese sentido. En las fotos tenéis los tamaños y los precios.

I ordered the burger, and the least I expected was for it to be cooked properly. I asked for medium and got rare, which really ruined the dish. Since it was served without a bun or vegetables, I expected the patty itself to be top quality, but it really wasn’t. Same with the steak, asked for medium, got rare. The fries were okay but very oily and it was hard to ignore. The stuffed artichoke with meat was alright, nothing special. The dessert was disappointing too. The chocolate on top was bitter and tasted like coffee. If you’re looking for something sweet, this isn’t it. I’m sure the ice cream would be a much better option. The good parts were the nice atmosphere, the great location, and the friendly service. But overall, for the money, I expected way better food.

At one of the bars inside, a gas blowtorch was placed directly facing customers and very close to where guests were sitting. Even more concerning, the torch was originally sitting right next to the salt container. I mentioned to the bartender that this seemed unsafe, but his response was that it was his working position and he refused to move it. I understand that bartenders need tools for their work, but having a gas torch pointed directly toward customers at such a close distance is difficult to justify. Guests come here to relax, not to sit next to a gas torch pointed in their direction. Safety should always come before convenience. En uno de los bares había un soplete de gas colocado directamente apuntando hacia los clientes y muy cerca de donde estaban sentados. Lo más preocupante es que el soplete estaba originalmente colocado justo al lado del recipiente de sal. Le comenté al bartender que esto parecía peligroso, pero respondió que era su posición de trabajo y se negó a moverlo. Entiendo que los bartenders necesitan herramientas para trabajar, pero tener un soplete de gas apuntando directamente hacia los clientes a tan poca distancia es difícil de justificar. Los clientes vienen aquí para relajarse, no para sentarse frente a un soplete de gas. La seguridad siempre debería estar por encima de la comodidad.
