Encontramos este sitio pequeño y encantador paseando por el Born. Nos encantó en trato y la comida riquísima. La torrija es… espectacular!
Lugar buenísimo en pleno Born. Sitio de tapas donde destacamos sin duda su canelón de pato y su pitiuso un brioche con sobrasada y queso. Aunque todos los platos que probamos nos gustaron. Calidad de los ingredientes en platos realmente elaborados y preparados con mucho gusto y dedicación. Es un restaurante de tapas pero de tapas de mucha calidad. Se puede compartir todo y con 4 platos para 2 personas es suficiente. Pedimos un par de copas de vino y pagamos unos 45€ por persona. El servicio súper amable y atento. Pedimos el puerro trufado, el magret de pato y el canelón de pato… fue un acierto. De postre no te dejes de pedir la torrija… es una maravilla!!
Un lugar encantador en pleno Born, frente a Santa María del Mar. Tapas creativas y deliciosas, con producto de calidad y una gran selección de vinos. El ambiente es moderno y acogedor, perfecto para cenar con amigos o pareja. El servicio muy atento y profesional. ¡Muy recomendable!

Toda una sorpresa.. hemos pasado miles de veces por la puerta, somos de cerca y nunca habiamos decido entrar, por unas cosas u otras, pero por destino que solo pude conseguir reserva aqui decidimos probarlo... Gran acierto!! En primer lugar el servicio, espectacular!!, atento, servicial, simpatico, los camareros que nos atendieron para un 9,50 jejeje ... la comida.. genial!!, Brioche con sobrasasa y queso de 10, el tataki de bonito de 10, el pulpo frito de 10.. en fin, un lugar en el centro de Barcelona, al lado de Santa Maria del Mar y muy agradable... lo pagas!! pero lo vale!!
Dimos con este restaurante y no nos pudo gustar más. Creaciones super originales y deliciosas. Si eres un amante de la trufa, tienen un montón de platos con ese ingrediente. Perfecto para compartir bocaditos con tus compañeros de mesa. Nos encantaron el kinder de foie y chocolate rosa, el pan bao de rabo de toro, el mini bikini de carrillera, el huevo con panceta y el macaron. Volveremos porque nos quedaron aún muchos platos por probar y porque nos trataron super bien. ¡Felicidades!
Fuimos a celebrar nuestro segundo aniversario de casados y la experiencia no pudo ser mejor. Un trato excelente por parte de todo el personal y la comida deliciosa. La selección de vinos que tienen es impresionante y muy variada. Lo único que me dio pena fue la cheesecake, soy muy crítica con esto y nos la recomendaron, pero me pareció muy normalita. Aún así, te hacen sentir como en casa.
Vinimos por recomendación de un familiar y la verdad que es espectacular, la comida de calidad con unos sabores impresionantes. Aún yendo en un día festivo donde tenían carta reducida, nos sorprendió muchísimo. Lo recomiendo 100% si buscas algo diferente a lo habitual!

Un nuevo descubrimiento para nosotros en Barcelona. Tapas modernas, con gusto y que sorprenden. El servicio muy muy atento. Nos permitieron probar un par de vinos para ayudar a decidir. El local es pequeño y les obliga a que las mesas bajas estén un poco juntas, pero no nos generó ninguna sensación de incomodidad o falta de intimidad. Volveremos seguro para probar el resto de sus propuestas.
Sitio espectacular. La comida de diez, la atención insuperable, todo el personal de comedor super amables. Da gusto cuando aparte de ver buena calidad en los productos de base, ves que la tratan tan bien en cocina. Todo muy cuidado: presentación del plato, tiempo en sacar los platos de cocina, temperatura perfecta para empezar a comer y disfrutar todos los matices.
Simplemente espectacular! Fuimos un grupo de 6 a comer y la verdad es que estaba todo delicioso. Todos los platos muy elaborados y con muchísimo sabor. Mis favoritos fueron el canelón de pato y las bravas, imperdibles! El servicio también de 10.

¡Una experiencia espectacular! Íbamos con la idea de tomar solo un vino y una tapa, pero nos sorprendió tanto que acabamos quedándonos a comer. El vino fue excelente, y cada plato que probamos superaba nuestras expectativas. Desde los sabores hasta la presentación, todo estaba cuidado al detalle. La atención del personal fue impecable y nos hizo sentir muy cómodos. Sin duda, un lugar para volver y recomendar. ¡100% recomendable!

The best Tapas experience we had on our month-long Europe trip! Happy we found this place. Orvay has a Delicious selection and wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend to any tourist visiting Barcelona!
Had a beautiful and delicious meal at Orvay. Very intimate and inviting atmosphere. Everything we ate hit was excellent! Our favorite was the oxtail bao. The wine list was extensive and the service was excellent!
What an incredible experience! We booked Orvay because we got it recommended by a random person asking on the street as a MUST GO. And it did not dissapoint at all. We asked if they had a chef's table (and they did). We always chase this experience, and this chef's table was amongst the top experiences. They took the time to explain us about everything. The knowledge about food, spices, locally sourced (and sometimes the chef goes out to get the mushrooms himself) was fantastic. Wines matched the food. 10/10 experience and if you hesitate to do this: just go for it.
This has been one my favorite restaurants in Barcelona!! The Tapas were just delicious! The octopus, the ceviche and patatas brava were wow!! The wine election great! Highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

1 person lunch. Sat on the bar which was very cute. You get to have delicious food and people watch around Pg. del Born 😅 Ordered cod fritters and Pitïuso (buttery brioche, sobrasada (pork), brie, pine nuts and orange. It’s one of those dishes that you fall in live with after taking your first bite
Went to Orvay last night for dinner with friends & the food was excellent! We had the sea bass ceviche, which was outstanding. Also ordered the batatas bravas, tuna belly carpaccio, squid with sobrasada, lamb with yoghurt dressing & a few more dishes. Sketch wine was amazing and the staff are very kind! They also have a lot of dairy-free options. Highly recommend this place.
Definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The kitchen is super creative, and every dish is a beautiful mix of flavors, textures, and colors. The fried octopus and the duck cannelloni were absolutely outstanding, though honestly everything we tried was excellent (we also had the burrata with eggplant, the carrillera ibérica bikini sandwich, and the cod fritters). Make sure you leave room for dessert: a soft milk bun filled with white chocolate and caramel, served with a delicious ice cream. A true explosion of flavors and temperatures! Staff was super friendly, welcoming, and gave us great recommendations.

Always a pleasure to come here - haute cuisine! We just came by for a “snack” and ended up getting the bikini de carrillera Iberica and the cordero a Baja temperature with wild broccoli and - of course - pan con tomate. As always (we have come here 3 times already) the food was outstanding and the service is great, quick on their feet and kind. Always a pleasure and highly recommendable for anyone who enjoys gourmet food and isn’t afraid to spend - still value for money! Reasonable prices for the quality you get.
Wanted to go to a couple other places (Tapeo etc) but those were full. Stumbled upon this place. Sangria was superb and the tapas were all very good. Seafoods definitely good. Meats maybe less so.
I will have to come back to Barcelona just to eat here. Food was heavenly and truly some of the best food I’ve had in my life. Beef cheek & burratta with eggplant were the highlights but all the food was all excellent. Very inventive and unique flavours.
The food was phenomenal, by far the best we’ve had since being in Barcelona. Very flavourful and tasty dishes, highly recommend the lamb dish & the French toast for dessert. Steak was beautiful too. Definitely one to remember. Staff were very kind and attentive too!
Wow. There’s food… then there’s the masterpieces coming out of this kitchen. Honestly everything was the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my life. Definitely try the foie gras chocolates, the oxtail bao buns, and the stuffed squid. *chefs kiss* Reserve a table or you’ll be watching from the window.

Hemos comido aquí durante nuestra estancia en Barcelona. Aunque la comida está bastante rica, en mi opinión, las recetas pecan de tener demasiados ingredientes o ser demasiado rimbombantes.. a veces menos es más. Dicho esto, las tapas son ricas, el local es muy agradable y el servicio muy simpático. No sería mi primera opción pero es una buena opción justo al lado de Santa María del Mar.
En si la comida está buena, aunque si debo escoger el Brioche tostado con sardina ahumada, queso de Mahon y confitura de tomate, y el Steak tártar de vaca con chipotle y encurtidos son una maravilla. El servicio agradable, limpio y educado. La única queja es que tardan un poco entre servicio entre tapa y tapa.

Orvay is a charming little tapas spot with a beautiful, elegant setup that feels polished and welcoming. We enjoyed a glass of wine with a selection of dishes. The burrata salad with aubergine, cherry tomato and sobrasada vinaigrette was a unique twist on a classic and worked nicely. The highlight was the tuna belly tiradito with fried capers, pickles and passion fruit which was perfectly balanced and packed with flavour. The squid stuffed with sobrasada and pine nuts with black garlic and saffron mayonnaise sounded incredible but was unfortunately quite underwhelming. The oyster was fresh and enjoyable. Service was friendly and delivered with a smile, and the atmosphere was pleasant though a little on the quiet side. Overall it is certainly worth a visit, with some standout dishes, but there is room for improvement in parts of the menu.
Worth a visit if you're in the area. The bao and the off menu clams were the highlight and definitely something I would recommend.
We wanted a more a la carte dinner experience, so visited Orvay whilst staying in Barcelona. This is a lovely little restaurant located opposite the church. The food is very good and very unique. We tried multiple dishes and all were tasty and different. The staff were very welcoming and service was good. The restaurant gets very busy so make sure you book a table.
Main dish was pretty bad. The octopus was pretty salty and the beef cheek was stale. The beef tasted like it was cooked twice over and the carrot with the octopus tasted like vinegar.
Local muy bonito y platos muy bien presentados y elaborados. Lo que más nos gustó fue el canelón y el pulpo. Mis dos estrellas van por la atención recibida, muy borde, daba la sensación de que estábamos incordiando, nos pusieron la cuenta sin si quiera pedirla sin mediar palabra y al irnos y cruzarnos ni un adiós. 👋🏻
