Un nuevo descubrimiento para nosotros en Barcelona. Tapas modernas, con gusto y que sorprenden. El servicio muy muy atento. Nos permitieron probar un par de vinos para ayudar a decidir. El local es pequeño y les obliga a que las mesas bajas estén un poco juntas, pero no nos generó ninguna sensación de incomodidad o falta de intimidad. Volveremos seguro para probar el resto de sus propuestas.

Sitio espectacular. La comida de diez, la atención insuperable, todo el personal de comedor super amables. Da gusto cuando aparte de ver buena calidad en los productos de base, ves que la tratan tan bien en cocina. Todo muy cuidado: presentación del plato, tiempo en sacar los platos de cocina, temperatura perfecta para empezar a comer y disfrutar todos los matices.

Simplemente espectacular! Fuimos un grupo de 6 a comer y la verdad es que estaba todo delicioso. Todos los platos muy elaborados y con muchísimo sabor. Mis favoritos fueron el canelón de pato y las bravas, imperdibles! El servicio también de 10.

Nunca decepciona! La atención del servicio y las recomendaciones fueron increíble y la comida, como siempre, deliciosa! El vino natural fue un gran acierto!

¡Una experiencia espectacular! Íbamos con la idea de tomar solo un vino y una tapa, pero nos sorprendió tanto que acabamos quedándonos a comer. El vino fue excelente, y cada plato que probamos superaba nuestras expectativas. Desde los sabores hasta la presentación, todo estaba cuidado al detalle. La atención del personal fue impecable y nos hizo sentir muy cómodos. Sin duda, un lugar para volver y recomendar. ¡100% recomendable!

What an incredible experience! We booked Orvay because we got it recommended by a random person asking on the street as a MUST GO. And it did not dissapoint at all. We asked if they had a chef's table (and they did). We always chase this experience, and this chef's table was amongst the top experiences. They took the time to explain us about everything. The knowledge about food, spices, locally sourced (and sometimes the chef goes out to get the mushrooms himself) was fantastic. Wines matched the food. 10/10 experience and if you hesitate to do this: just go for it.

Went to Orvay last night for dinner with friends & the food was excellent! We had the sea bass ceviche, which was outstanding. Also ordered the batatas bravas, tuna belly carpaccio, squid with sobrasada, lamb with yoghurt dressing & a few more dishes. Sketch wine was amazing and the staff are very kind! They also have a lot of dairy-free options. Highly recommend this place.

Definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The kitchen is super creative, and every dish is a beautiful mix of flavors, textures, and colors. The fried octopus and the duck cannelloni were absolutely outstanding, though honestly everything we tried was excellent (we also had the burrata with eggplant, the carrillera ibérica bikini sandwich, and the cod fritters). Make sure you leave room for dessert: a soft milk bun filled with white chocolate and caramel, served with a delicious ice cream. A true explosion of flavors and temperatures! Staff was super friendly, welcoming, and gave us great recommendations.

Always a pleasure to come here - haute cuisine! We just came by for a “snack” and ended up getting the bikini de carrillera Iberica and the cordero a Baja temperature with wild broccoli and - of course - pan con tomate. As always (we have come here 3 times already) the food was outstanding and the service is great, quick on their feet and kind. Always a pleasure and highly recommendable for anyone who enjoys gourmet food and isn’t afraid to spend - still value for money! Reasonable prices for the quality you get.

I will have to come back to Barcelona just to eat here. Food was heavenly and truly some of the best food I’ve had in my life. Beef cheek & burratta with eggplant were the highlights but all the food was all excellent. Very inventive and unique flavours.

Hemos comido aquí durante nuestra estancia en Barcelona. Aunque la comida está bastante rica, en mi opinión, las recetas pecan de tener demasiados ingredientes o ser demasiado rimbombantes.. a veces menos es más. Dicho esto, las tapas son ricas, el local es muy agradable y el servicio muy simpático. No sería mi primera opción pero es una buena opción justo al lado de Santa María del Mar.

En si la comida está buena, aunque si debo escoger el Brioche tostado con sardina ahumada, queso de Mahon y confitura de tomate, y el Steak tártar de vaca con chipotle y encurtidos son una maravilla. El servicio agradable, limpio y educado. La única queja es que tardan un poco entre servicio entre tapa y tapa.

Orvay is a charming little tapas spot with a beautiful, elegant setup that feels polished and welcoming. We enjoyed a glass of wine with a selection of dishes. The burrata salad with aubergine, cherry tomato and sobrasada vinaigrette was a unique twist on a classic and worked nicely. The highlight was the tuna belly tiradito with fried capers, pickles and passion fruit which was perfectly balanced and packed with flavour. The squid stuffed with sobrasada and pine nuts with black garlic and saffron mayonnaise sounded incredible but was unfortunately quite underwhelming. The oyster was fresh and enjoyable. Service was friendly and delivered with a smile, and the atmosphere was pleasant though a little on the quiet side. Overall it is certainly worth a visit, with some standout dishes, but there is room for improvement in parts of the menu.

We wanted a more a la carte dinner experience, so visited Orvay whilst staying in Barcelona. This is a lovely little restaurant located opposite the church. The food is very good and very unique. We tried multiple dishes and all were tasty and different. The staff were very welcoming and service was good. The restaurant gets very busy so make sure you book a table.

Main dish was pretty bad. The octopus was pretty salty and the beef cheek was stale. The beef tasted like it was cooked twice over and the carrot with the octopus tasted like vinegar.

Local muy bonito y platos muy bien presentados y elaborados. Lo que más nos gustó fue el canelón y el pulpo.
