No venía con las espectativas muy altas, al estar ubicado en un zona muy turística. Pero me equivoqué, el lugar es fantástico y con mucha personalidad, me encantó, tienen una variedad de cocteles. Tanto los cocteles como la atención muy buena! Volveré!

Un lugar curioso y muy agradable. Estuvimos bebiendo algo y aunque era nuestra primera vez en este lugar, nos sorprendió los sabores y la buena atención que recibimos. Sin duda volveremos y los camareros italianos son un encanto, además de preguntarnos si todo estaba bien. Lo recomiendo 100% En mi caso pedí el Maria Merengue y estaba buenísimo

Unas copas buenísimas e innovadores y buena variedad. Una atención espectacular por parte del camarero que nos atendió. El local espectacular bonito, tiene muy buena decoración. Buena temperatura y música.

El María Merengue es uno de los mejores cócteles que he probado en mi vida. Este sitio tiene una manera de mezclar sabores que le da una dimensión completamente distinta a la bebida. El concepto es increíblemente único y los bartenders son unos verdaderos caballeros.

Organicé un team building en Mariposa Negra Bar con mi equipo para hacer un taller de cócteles a finales de Octubre y fue todo un acierto. La atención un 10 desde el minuto 1, nos dieron facilidades para incluso abrir un poco antes el bar y así poder atendernos. Estuvimos muy tranquilos y a gusto, distribuidos a lo largo de la barra. El bar muy acogedor y especial, decorado de forma original y muy artística. Los 3 bartenders que estaban enseñándonos cómo hacer los cócteles muy profesionales, nos dieron un trato excelente, se iban adaptando al grupo y complementamos con un pica pica variado y bueno. Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar el taller donde ellos fabrican los vasos y contenedores cerámicos de los cócteles. Lo recomendamos! Una idea muy original, cócteles distintos y muy buenos, para compartir con amigos o con un evento de empresa. ¡Gracias!

Hicimos un masterclass de cócteles con Pedro y nos encantó! La coordinación para la clases fueron muy claras, en la web está todo claro y luego te escriben para detalles. Si bien fuimos 2 pagamos el mínimo que es para 3 personas pero nos incluyo llevarnos una cerámica del taller. Las clases valen la pena, escogimos aprender 2 cócteles de autor y 2 clásicos y al final terminas probando más bebidas por la enseñanza y luego la práctica. Pedro ha sido muy divertido, amable, nos ha contestado todas las dudas e incluso cambió un cóctel a nuestro pedido. Volveremos porque sus cocteles son buenísimos y originales! El costo es 50€ por persona pero si son 2 y no se llega al mínimo (3) se paga 150€, sien embargo te compensa llevándote cerámicas del taller por el valor adicional. Un acierto sin duda

We absolutely loved Mariposa Negra Cocktail Bar. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was amazing, intimate, creative, and full of character. The service was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We tried the Kolvenic Rubik and El Suero, both beautifully crafted, full of flavour, and seriously well balanced. Every sip felt thoughtful and bold without being overwhelming. We also had a couple of other cocktails that were super delicious and definitely on the strong side, in the best possible way, so good we honestly forgot their names by the end of the night. Great drinks, great energy, great people. One of those places where you lose track of time and leave in a great mood. We loved it and would absolutely come back.

Such a cool cocktail bar, especially for tourists! They have the most creative and weird cocktails I’ve ever seen, all served beautifully. The atmosphere is also really cool. The prices are obviously a bit higher (I’m assuming because of the creativity), but the waiters were soooo nice and very helpful in explaining each cocktail. Service was quick and overall it was a great experience — I definitely recommend it!

Update 1.1.2026: Children not welcome! We loved this bar during our visit to Barcelona and the five of us (including two kids) went there almost daily. Our kids also loved the non-alcoholic versions of the drinks. We wanted to do the same on January 1st, 2026, our last evening in Barcelona. But we were refused entry by one of the employees: an order from the boss, no children allowed due to the holiday. This was an absolute outrage, especially since we had already spent over €100 during our holiday. We are incredibly disappointed…. Great drinks served in wonderful, unique clay jugs. I can recommend the Melancholico, Maria Merengue, and Kafka Moka drinks. super friendly staff

The place was beautiful and the staff very kind, especially the guy from Verona — you could tell he knew the place like the back of his hand and treated the bar as if it were his own. The cocktails were amazing, but the real stars were the unique glasses in which they were served. I highly recommend this bar to anyone looking for a different kind of experience, far from the usual cocktail bars you find everywhere. P.S. I’m giving 5 stars to the food only because it’s not possible to submit the review without rating it. I actually didn’t eat anything this time, but I didn’t want to lower the overall score. I’ll definitely come back to try the food.

It is incredibly packed but still possible to have a conversation. The cocktails are something else. The one with mereng is the best cocktail i’ve had in a while. I do like the ones with cocktail art but bare in mind they do make your lips black because of the paint 🤭

Exceptional! Everything! I suggest you to visit it at a day time. I went there on Wednesday at 12-13 and it was empty. So I really enjoyed cocktail and food without a crowd. Cocktail was the best I have ever had (with japanese whiskey inside). And these jamon rolls with cheese inside - well you have to try - to die for! Yes cocktails are pricy, but you pay for the experience and it is totally worth it. Special thanks for the cute young bartender from Venice - take care, you do amazing service. Coming back for sure.

It was busy when we arrived but they let us use the VIP room upstairs (15% surcharge, same as the terrace), very cosy and you can control the music yourself.
