I found a hidden gem, if you like New Mexican style food, this a the spot. Customer service is awesome, they treat you like family and the food is fresh to order! I had the burrito that has rice,beans,greenchile,pork,potatoes. Very good. I also tried the red chile cheese fries with sour cream which was also a win! Dont sleep on this place

Stopped By Here Today After Searching Online For A Good Place To Go . 10/10 The Restaurant Was Clean , The Costumer Service Was Top Tier, Great Music Playing, Just An Overall Vibe! . It Took Me A While To Figure Out What I Wanted Because They Have A Pretty Big Menu . They Were Patient, Didn't Make Me Feel Rushed & Everything Was Made Fresh To Order!!!! We Got Two California Burritos Al Pastor (6.99$ Special On Wednesday!!!) And Asada Fries . Everything Was So Good. I’m Definitely Going Back For Their Taco Special On Friday Lol!!!

La Mesa is a great little local place where the Mexican food is made with love and passion. I had 3 street tacos with rice and beans, soo good!

Okay so, my wife and I were headed home from Vegas after a work convention and found this little place off the beaten path. The service was beyond phenomenal joyful cheery and extremely helpful we had their carne asada fries street tacos and the flautas were legit. Couldn't have asked for a better stop on our way home

The New Mexico Pizza is insanely good and fed 3 people with almost half still left. Like a big quesadilla with beans and meat and lettuce and tomato. Delicious, real churros and well priced.

I am addicted to Mexican food and La Mesa is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The food is incredibly delicious. Street tacos had a lot of additions and well-seasoned meat. Sopapilla is also heavenly. If you're nearby, be sure to try it! If you live nearby, I can swap houses with you ;) I really recommend this place!

The owner is the chef!! He was very nice and friendly. His spices are specially brought in from Mexico. He gave me a bag because I really liked the salsa flavor. - $1.50 Street tacos (totally affordable). - Sopapilla torta was AMAZING (it's huge, big enough to share). - The red salsa is some of the best roasted spicy salsa I've had. Highly recommend on your drive through Barstow. It's a small building but the owner finally bought the property and I'm sure he'll do great things with it.
