Came here with a bunch of friends and this place was surely a delight. The vibe and the architecture of the place is amazing and has an upper deck that can be reserved for private events. Live music in the place is definitely the highlight that adds to the vibe of the place making it a perfect homely and welcoming vibe. Beers and pizza are a perfect combination to accompany an evening. Highly recommended spot for large groups
Update (return visit): Tried the ✅ Galileo pizza—delicious vegetarian option, and I liked it even more than the Callisto. I also ordered a Hot Toddy; it was a bit too weak for my taste, even as a lightweight. As always, the service was wonderful and the decor charming. ✅ Aries Pizza – My husband absolutely loved it. ✅ Callisto Pizza – A truly unique and creative recipe! The crust was light and wonderfully crispy, and the cooked squash added a lovely depth of flavor. At first, the taste felt a bit mild, but it was just right with a sprinkle of chili flakes. One small suggestion: perhaps using baby kale that’s been cooked a bit more could enhance the texture. - Bonus points for offering non-alcoholic beer options like ERDINGER NA WEISSBIER—much appreciated! - We were pleasantly surprised by how affordable everything was, even though we ordered two large pizzas—it felt like great value for the quality. - We also really appreciated the dog-friendly outdoor patio—it had such a relaxed, summery vibe and was beautifully decorated. The staff was kind enough to bring out a bowl of water for our dog, which was such a thoughtful touch.
I’ve had pizza from hundreds of restaurants in numerous countries. This place has maybe the best pizza I’ve ever had. It just melts in your mouth. Very fresh, tons of flavor. The dining area is beautiful, service is friendly, had a nice vibe. But again, maybe the best pizza I’ve ever had. I’m stuffed.
Really natural tasting pizza, somewhere between thin and thick crust. Like you did it in a real fire oven. Much more seating than it looks from the outside. Relaxed but buzzing atmosphere.
So so good! Top quality! How do I know a pizza is top tier? My whole family ate the crust and they are not crust people. We loved the wings and the roasted potatoes. The citrus aioli and jalapeño cilantro sauces were just perfection IMO. Our servers were all great they treated us so well. I highly recommend this spot to everyone.
I came here on a Friday night and ordered the Odysseus pizza and it was delicious. I loved the mushrooms and my friend and I were able to finish a 13 inch pizza together! The atmosphere was great with a dj playing some music in the corner where we sat. Jupiter’s is a great place to sit and chat with friends and hangout.
Came in for pizza and beer here because this used to be my husband's favorite place when he was in college at uc berkeley! We were a large group and took some time to decide on the seating and the menu - and the server was so patient with us🙏 We got four pizzas and they were all so good! If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be Circe. The outdoor space was heated and wonderful.

Jupiter has great pizza, a lively atmosphere, and amazing staff! Whether you sit inside or out on the patio (with live music! Fun!) you’re going to have a wonderful experience. The pizza is the best combination of high quality ingredients and a perfect crust. The appetizers were great too. You can count on the staff being kind and helpful. They went out of their way to help us find seating for our large party. (Thank you guys!) If you’ve got a large group definitely check on their reservation process ahead of time, so you can focus on enjoying your experience. We will be be back next time we’re in town!
Great vibes all around. The place feels welcoming the moment you walk in, and the energy is just right lively but not loud. The pizza tasted clean and fresh, which made it super easy to enjoy without feeling heavy afterward. The beer selection was solid too and paired perfectly with the food. Overall, a really good spot. I’d definitely go again.
What a hidden gem in Berkeley! I was in the mood for good, authentic pizza — and as someone from New York, I’m definitely spoiled — but this place really impressed me. The pizza was amazing, and the manager, Sami, went above and beyond to get us a great table and make sure our food and drinks were perfect. I really appreciated his friendliness, and even our server mentioned what a great manager he is. I’ll definitely be coming back — not just for the food, but for the hospitality and the wonderful atmosphere. 🥰
Food was perfect and the service was excellent we placed our order using the QR code so we didn’t wait than the food it comes after 15 mn I think they bring singers every weekend
We’ve been coming here for years and always leave happy. The outdoor seating is beautiful, with heaters to keep you warm, and the atmosphere is lively. They recently added a Garden Menu, we tried the lamb and it was delicious. I’m not usually into veggie pizzas, but here they’re really good. We’ve tried most of the pizzas and almost all have been great. The wings are tasty, and the dips are good but small in size. It’s a seat-yourself place, so you may need to wait and watch for a free table. The salads are fresh, the menu is simple, the staff is friendly. They often have live music, sometimes a bit loud for me, but other times perfect. Great spot for good pizza, a nice outdoor space, and a fun night out.

Jupiter is an absolute fantastic place to grab a pizza, either to go or for dining in in which you can be seated inside as well as outside in their 2-story restaurant/ beer garden. The beer garden is delightful and nice to look at in the evening with the decorated lights and ambience. The staff were very friendly and very helpful, Ones you can have full on conversations with and get an honest opinion. I live in Southern California so when I tried this place, I made sure to go again before heading back. Delicious. Good toppings to sauce to crust ratios. It wasn’t super thick, light and airy. They have appetizers, salads, and build your own pizzas as well as specialty ones, which were very good. I’ve tried at least three different ones and none of them disappointed me. You can go halves on pizzas when it comes to toppings if you want to share or try more than one. They have alcohol, parking can be limited because of the area it’s in so just be aware, but there are parking garages. If you haven’t tried this spot, a lot of the reviews here are good for a reason.
What an amazing venue Jupiter features live music and a helpful wait staff. The place was busy during graduation season. The decor to the food was excellent. When you visit be sure to ask for margaritas. Take advantage of ordering a second round of margaritas, because in many ways they’re better than the first round. Our party of five enjoyed the food. Three adults were keen on the mixologist that made the margarita difference for the first round to the second . (The only drawback was payment in cash became a challenge—venue opted out cash for credit card payment instead for reasons too many frauds with $100. note: bills needing to have a blue markings.) unfortunately information was shared by our nice waiter, yet overall I’ll take a chance on another visit only to realize not to bring cash, because Jupiter didn’t trust $100 bills without the blue marking. Says the waiter.
This has to be my fave pizza place ever, and I’ve had pizza all over the northern hemisphere! I love It here, I make a point to stop in when I’m in town. Get the Xanthia!
Sat outside by the fire and enjoyed a margaritas pizza and the potato and bacon pizza. I love the crisp pizza dough and topping flavors. The atmosphere is laid back, but on cold nights, there isn't enough indoor seating.
While finding parking is a challenge, you’ll want to go here. I’m always looking for good pizza and this place has it. It’s a lively place and definitely a local favorite but thankfully we got seated. Service was good although we were able to order online (QR code). All 3 pizzas were delicious. I came here for happy hour and it was a nice outdoor experience in the back. The food was good and the service was pretty attentive. The pizza was tasty, same with the artichoke and spinach dip. The wood-fired potatoes were a good filler. A hefeweizen is always tasty! Would come again if in the area.

Here's a review of Jupiter Restaurant: Jupiter Restaurant Review We recently dined at Jupiter Restaurant and had a mostly positive experience. The food was absolutely delicious! We started with the Wooden Fire Potatoes, which were a hit. I followed that with the Individual Veggie Pizza, and I highly recommend it. However, the service was a bit slow. It seemed like the staff was more focused on enjoying the nice weather than attending to their tables. After finishing our meal, we waited around 45 minutes for our check and to-go boxes. Overall: Despite the service hiccup, we would definitely recommend Jupiter Restaurant for its delicious food.

I want to give them a 3.5 but it wasn’t an option. The pros: vegan and vegetarian options (well-labeled) & yummy pizza. The cons: atmosphere isn’t anything special, service was a bit slow (1 server had the whole service and wasn’t in a big hurry), and more $$ than was worth it. We got one 13” pizza, one small salad, and two nonalcoholic drinks and the bill was $66 (including tip). I’d recommend take-out since the food was good.
