I loved Pizzaiolo’s Back Alley Burgers and so sorely missed them when they stopped doing them. But since they have taken over The Station, the whole burger situation has gotten a fantastic upgrade! The burgers and fries are every bit delicious but the addition of a few perfect salads (the cucumbers! Omg! The kale! And even my hippie averse aunt loved the Hippie Bowl!) But the 5 star-worthy addition are the shakes and soft serve. Sofa king good! The Upgraded burger, joint atmosphere with plenty of shaded, but outdoor seating and beautiful potted plants- And super sweet staff- make this the kind of place you’ll want to go back to again again and introduce everyone you know to it.

We had so much fun at the reopen of the Station today! The burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, kale salad, and cucumber salad were delicious. The service was great, even with a line around the corner. Great beer/wine selction and yummy shakes. So glad to see this cool local spot revitalized. We were huge fans of the Station in the past and SO glad to see it come back with such great food and service.

What a great local and casual spot. Known for their burgers but those salads are incredible - and at an absolute reasonable price. Not to mention - their house white wine tasted like top shelf to me.

If you’re in the Bay and like bánh mì, you’ll absolutely LOVE The Station Saigon Smash. The vibe was super cute with fire pits, heaters, and of course the food was well worth the visit Léo did his big one with this genius fusion burger. The fries were also delicious tastes like a McDonald’s fries but 10 times better. We also tried the traditional Smashburger definitely one of the best we’ve had in the Bay Area. We had the pleasure of meeting Léo who was is so kind, passionate and hospitable. We will absolutely be back!

This place is fantastic. If you like junk food, the burgers and fries are top notch. If you like healthy food, the Hippie Bowl cannot be beat! A perfect place to eat if, like me, you're a Gemini who enjoys BOTH healthy and unhealthy! It's kind of amazing that a place that is famous for smashburgers ALSO makes delicious vegetarian options. This time around, I got the Hippie Bowl. It's like a vegetarian sushi roll exploded into a bowl. Ingredients include brown rice, avocado, shredded carrots, kim chi, pickled onions, “jammy” egg, cucumbers, a little shredded radish, a light dusting of sesame seeds and pumpkin seeds, plus cilantro and pickled ginger. EXTREMELY SATISFYING.

Ehat an awesome place!! Burgers are really good. True smash burgers. Also tried the Saigon chicken burger and it was amazing too! Fries were well salted, crisp ans fresh! We were craving some good burgers ans saw this place on google and ended up driving 45 miles one way to eat it. Well worth the drive! Team taking orders was friendly and the atmosphere and ambience is a typical down to earth and semi covered. No inside spaces.

Amazing burgers and fries, likely one of the best smashburgers I've ever had. Fries were also top notch. Atmosphere is nice, chill outdoor airy sunny venue. If I lived closer I'd definitely be a regular! I got 3 patties and it was awesome, $13 for a triple smash burger is an incredible deal, let alone it was one of the better ones I've ever had!!

New ownership has made great changes! The fries are 10/10 and i love the soft serve. UPDATE the vegetarian impossible has improved since the first month - they’re giving it the same smashed crispy edges as the real burger. And the hippie bowl is sooo good, the veggies are all perfectly seasoned. I get that more than the burger most visits. My only real complaint is that this place seems to be frequented by the type of bougie neighbors who don’t discipline their kids :)

Wow! I am thoroughly impressed with the new Station Burger! I came in on a Friday evening, and it had a good amount of people, with a 5 minute wait or so to order at the counter! They have a smaller menu but it has everything you would need! It took around ~10 minutes for the burgers to come, and they were so delicious! Fresh ingredients with juicy patties, along with great, crispy fries! The service was wonderful, atmosphere on point, and the food was delicious! I highly recommend everyone to try this neighborhood burger joint :)

Delicious! Love the optionally of the menu. We loved the kale salad, heard some people adding a patty to it. We also enjoyed the chicken smash burgers and beef smash. Bun is a soft potato bun not toasted. And if you don’t end with a dipped cone, who are you?! So good!

All trains stop at The Station! All aboard! The station smash burgers is a great place to stop by for burgers, bowls, and vegetarian options. It’s a small but mighty restaurant with great food. I definitely recommend you coming out here, trying the food, and experiencing the atmosphere of the restaurant and its patrons.

sterday I visited The Station in Berkeley for their soft opening, and I was blown away by the warmth, welcoming atmosphere, and friendly service. What truly impressed me, however, was the cleanliness and quality of the food. Unlike typical burger joints, The Station exceeded my expectations with their attention to detail and commitment to serving delicious, clean food

This is one of my new favorite spots in Berkeley! I enjoyed the Bezerkley Burger (vegan), and their chocolate dipped vanilla soft serve. The atmosphere was so cozy and felt very welcoming, as there were a lot of families and friends there. I will definitely be returning!

Super de-duper! My double burger was terrific! Tasty & fresh! My bride got a chicken sandwich. She said it was “perfectly fine!” We also got a pickle salad and a kale salad. Again, the salads were every bit as good. Service could not have been better and the Atmosphere at the top of Russell right near the Claremont Hotel was a great place to dine and people watch!

Have yet to try their ice cream, but I see many people enjoying cones often. Parking is at a premium, so you may have to walk a bit.

The menu was absolutely delicious. We got hamburgers, salad with meat and ice-cream. One of the best burgers and salad I’ve ever had. I just have a small piece of feedback. It would be great if the staff could clearly mention during the order that the sauce used in the burger is spicy. That way, when ordering for kids, we could choose to have it without the sauce. My child, as well as the child at the table next to us, couldn’t eat their burgers because we didn’t know about the spicy sauce. If we had known, I would have ordered my child’s burger without it.

It’s fantastic! Just opened with new owners this week 6/25/2025. And boy did I need the uplift 👍🏽 I had the “hippie bowl”, someone got for me- it was delicious… pickled ginger, veggies, brown rice, healthy, fresh, and super tasty! I had go back 6/29/2025 being in my neighborhood and all; the cheeseburger is so 🍔smacking good, fries crispy not oily, and strawberry shake that tastes like…wow 🤩strawberries 🍓 I’m so happy 😌. And the prices?!? Bowl-10ish burger-7ish, fries 5ish, all pretty reasonable for the high quality you get and the atmosphere is great! Nice outdoor friendly neighborhood vibe …ice cream🍦… cold water that tastes good…biodegradable utensils and cups… nice, friendly people… good prices... they should call it, Friendlys! I will be back.

I spent about $40 on a burger, a burger over fries and a coffee milk shake that tasted like chocolate. The good: - service speed - quality bun - parking The not so good: - the shake was small for the price - the fries were undercooked - the burger felt thin and crispy (hard to chew?) To be honest, the presentation is what did it for me. The item included with this post looks like crispy @ ss with pickles on top. Wamp. I’m sticking with Five Guys.
