Preguntas frecuentes sobre 208 Rodeo
Opiniones de 208 Rodeo Beverly Hills
For it to be such a tourist spot, I was pleasantly surprised, the food was above expectations. Ingredients were fresh and dishes very well presented. I had the burrata and lamb appetizers for lunch. Very good portions, actually bigger than expected. It was a beautiful day to eat on the patio, but I opted to eat inside. The restaurant is small, so I'd recommend reservations, even tho I walked right in. It's at a perfect location right at the beginning of rodeo drive. So you can go for a nice walk afterwards.
We had a great dining experience. Our server, Oleg, did an amazing job taking care of us and making sure we had everything we needed. The truffle pasta, calamari, and ribeye were all delicious. We also tried a couple of cocktails, and they were excellent. Highly recommend this place!
Great restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience.
I was doing some touristy things in Beverly Hills and fancied some lunch. The doorman at the Beverly Wilshire recommended 208 so we gave it a shot. Considering its location I think I represents great value. There is a lot on the menu so you can have something simple if that's what you (and your budget) fancy or order Champagne and caviar if that's your thing. The food was fresh, tasty and well presented. I had the Burger and my friend had fish of the day. Both tasted great (I had some of her fish). Service was great too. Side note. The current duty manager looks like he's just walked off a movie set, so look out for him. There is a lot to recommend at 208.
Our experience at 208 Rodeo Drive is always exceptional. From the moment we arrive, the atmosphere feels welcoming and attentive. Truman, one of the managers, is incredibly accommodating, thoughtful, and genuinely kind, which truly sets the tone for the entire visit. The entire staff is consistently friendly and attentive, making every experience feel special. Tony was an outstanding waiter with remarkable attention to detail. He anticipated our needs, was knowledgeable, and provided top-notch service throughout the meal. This level of hospitality keeps us coming back. Highly recommend for the food, service and the overall experience.
We had such a wonderful experience at 208 Rodeo Restaurant. From the moment I arrived, the restaurant team & Stacey made us feel welcome and taken care of — the kind of hospitality you expect on Rodeo Drive, and they absolutely delivered. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely professional. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, perfect for a Beverly Hills dinner. Food was delicious, beautifully presented, and arrived promptly. Overall, an excellent meal topped off by truly standout service. Highly recommend — We will definitely be returning!
Very nice gentleman helped me and my fiancee out on our anniversary dinner. A great selection of food on the menu from seafood lobsters to ribeye steaks; both were excellently prepared. The flavor and the presentation were above and beyond. Small yet elegant restaurant. Great drink options. They provided heaters when it was chilly outside. Our server even gave us a personalized dessert for our anniversary which was very neat and much appreciated. There is valet nearby & underneath Rodeo Drive. I recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy an elegant dinner experience that matches the atmosphere of Rodeo Drive! I will return in the future 👍
After a long walk off Rodeo Drive, we were famished. The staff offered us an outdoor seating but we preferred to go inside for a cooler temperature. We were greeted, placed our order and the food came in. It was a pleasant experience, loved the food, had nice conversation, despite a bit tight space. Highly recommended.
208 Rodeo is a charming restaurant that perfectly blends a premium location with a welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious, with a variety of well-prepared dishes that cater to different tastes. The ambiance is lively yet refined, making it an excellent spot for a meal. Prices are reasonable, especially considering its prime location in the heart of Beverly Hills. Overall, it’s a lovely place for a memorable dining experience.
Very nice, cosy and upscale restaurant. They run a very professionally hosted and waited outfit. Food and wine 🍷 choices are quite good. Reasonably priced for the location. Seabass and Wagu beef were excellent. Was driving so went for the Mocktails and was quite the treat!
Food is really yummy and with the Christmas lights and Four Seasons hotel in the background, the vibe is lit! Service is nice but the only thing I felt was a little wrong was this- the waiter explained the menu to us (which was so helpful) and he said the special included black truffle pasta “which everyone is raving about and about 30 people just today got this.” On the menu, the item listed above black truffle pasta was $36, and the pasta itself didn’t have a price. We got the check and the pasta was $75!!!! I do have to agree- it was amazing pasta and A LOT of black truffle. But a little notice would have been good or I at least should’ve asked the price. We got: bread, trio dip, black truffle pasta - everything was super yummy.
Rodeo spotlight. Perfect location at the top of Rodeo Drv opposite the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Nice elevated position, with indoor and undercover outdoor seating. We visited this spot 9 years ago and loved it, so decided to try it again. Service staff very friendly and attentive, and keen to provide recommendations. We choose the pasta bolognese and chicken schnitzel. The pasta had a rich meat ragi with thick layers of pappadella pasta. Chicken breast panko crumbed schnitzel was thin, cooked well and accompanied by a smooth mash and crunchy broccoli. For a tourist Mecca of Rodeo Drive, this was a pleasant surprise.
I've eaten here a couple of times over the years and would return. Solid tasty lunch. Good service and lovely atmosphere. The dessert, while it looked amazing, was the weakest dish. The table bread was absolutely delicious! The lamb appetizer was very tasty too. You can't beat the view when it comes to patio dining in Beverly Hills.
The food at 208 Rodeo was good, but nothing particularly memorable or extraordinary. The flavors were decent, and everything was prepared well—but for the price point, I expected a bit more creativity or uniqueness. The setting is nice, but overall it felt like you’re paying more for the location than the actual dining experience. It’s not a bad spot, just unreasonably overpriced for what you get.
My partner and I usually love this place… But on Valentine’s Day we waited 1 hr and 30 min to PLACE an order. The server was very sorry and super nice, but when the bill came we payed $200+ with no type of sorry or compensation for waiting a ridiculous amount of time. Other tables who were seated after us ordered before our section, and we were starving and over the whole experience by the time the food got there. The least they could have done was say sorry for how long we waited and comped smth. Seems like they care more abt money than service.
This place is very touristy, and we were greeted wonderfully at the entrance. We were seated at a beautiful table and the front-of-house girls were absolutely flawless. My friend and I wanted to try their creamy pasta, which was not on the menu, but the server told us they could make it for us, which we appreciated. Both of us do not eat red meat, and my friend never eats it at all. She ordered a white pasta with chicken and I ordered one with shrimp. Unfortunately, both the chicken and the shrimp had a very strong beef taste, almost as if everything had been cooked on the same grill without being cleaned. It was quite noticeable and not pleasant for us. We told our server about it, and her reaction was not very friendly. Throughout the evening she kept coming over to rush us, and her attitude felt uncomfortable. She tried to smile, but it was the kind of tight smile where you feel that the person is forcing it. It made the overall experience less enjoyable. We also asked for regular water, but instead we were brought bottled water that we did not request. We paid for it without any issue, but we came to have wine and did not really need it. It did feel like they were trying to upsell everything, and if you politely decline, the reaction can be a bit strange and make you feel uncomfortable. The view is beautiful, and the location is lovely, but the service could definitely be better. I hope they improve the experience, because the place itself has a lot of potential.
The food is phenomenal, but the service practices need serious improvement. While the food here is truly excellent, I have significant concerns about how payment is handled. The server holds the card machine and doesn’t let you see the bill or what you’re actually paying for. They then show you the tip screen while watching over your shoulder. I’ve been to many restaurants, and the standard practice is to leave the bill at the table and give customers time to review it before paying. That doesn’t happen here. After paying, They do not give you a receipt or even asked if I wanted one. Make sure you ask for a receipt. I’ve returned several times hoping things would change, but unfortunately, they haven’t. A few things to be aware of: Servers may offer add-ons like “Would you like black truffle on your burger?” without mentioning the significant cost. Always ask for pricing before agreeing. Bread is not complimentary - they charge for it, and no. They will not disclose it. It’s disappointing because the food truly is great, but I won’t be coming back due to these practices. Just make sure you ask about prices upfront so you’re not caught off guard.
I came here couple years ago, there food taste great but every time after I and my friends eat it, we all having a hard time to poop. This restaurant needs to make sure they keep their food fresh. My friends and I still making jokes based on our experience. We call this restaurant HP(hard poop restaurant. This picture is just proof that I was here. btw their tomato soup tastes like 100% can food.
I can't believe they served this burnt burger to my 2 year old! The ambiance was fine but this food is inedible. She didn't try it in the restaurant so we took it to go. She was picking around the burger and only eating the bun. I saw how burnt it was and couldn't believe they served that to her. I was charged $35 for this burger and fries for a child.
