Good food. Did a good job accommodating my nut allergy.
Excellent service, food was great, cozy atmosphere.
Great food, great drinks and beautiful atmosphere.
Fantastic food! Tasted so good and you get a good sized portion
Great experience, my first time there!! Good food, the owners are active in service and community
Last minute stop just off route 17. Great food, atmosphere, and service! I would return in a heartbeat when in the area.
Good food, generous portions, nice atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.
Very pleased ! We had a party of 15 & service was Excellent ! Good food & atmosphere !
Great food outdoor dining. Going again this eve. Reservations are a must.
Delicious food in a relaxed indoor-outdoor atmosphere, with attentive and friendly service.
Food is out of this world and the wait staff is the best I seen in a long time , Very warm and cozy place...
Food was great...had 4 different thing and all were good
Wonderful little place. Service was excellent, food was delicious!
Excellent food! The entire staff was involved and welcoming
Everything is homemade and the owners are very friendly and hard working!!!! It's like going to an old friends home for dinner.
The ambiance and staff are great! I would recommend A Tavolo restaurant to everyone!
Great food, lovely setting, comfortable atmosphere!
The meals were outstanding and the atmosphere was very relaxing.
My wife and I shared the Italian platter. I was filling and a bargain. We really preferred their zesty spaghetti sauce as opposed to a sweet one. The service was also outstanding!
Fantastic Italian restaurant!! The homemade pasta is delicious! Generous portions and great prices. Very welcoming staff and excellent service. Lovely, quaint atmosphere too. We will be back!
This place is a gem! We've had the flounder and the chicken picatta, both of which were very nicely cooked -- light and well-seasoned. I look forward to eating here whenever I visit from NYC.
Just moved into the area in August, first time eating here, the atmosphere was cozy, the waite staff top notch and the food fantastic, can't wait to return.
Amazing place - 100% worth the short from downtown Binghamton. Donna puts out great food and a safe environment with outdoor seating. Visit for one of the best experiences Binghamton has to offer.
Excellent Eggplant parm (my go to) ..but also most excellent fettuccine Alfredo!! A beautifully seasoned Alfredo sauce over homemade and perfectly cooked fettuccine!!! I can NOT get enough!!!! Definitely try either the eggplant or the Alfredo!!!
Me and my wife love the restaurant, food is always awesome, service is great .
We've been there 3 times now, food is incredible, drinks are great and staff are so much fun as well as prices were surprisingly affordable
Wonderful atmosphere, beyond extraordinary service, and food was amazing!!! Chanced upon this place, will DEFINITELY become a regular go-to!!!
The food was excellent, atmosphere was warm and the wait staff was very attentive! Highly recommend a visit, we can’t wait to go back!
Food is always good. A friendly atmosphere and it feels like eating at someone's home.
One of my favorite places. Trying every dish. Fire cracker shrimp is a spicy must have.
Had an amazing Chicken riggie missing the peppers but the sauce was so good I’ll allow it! Wish they did more advertising this place is very cute
Dinner is always great, my favorite Italian restaurant. Keeping it interesting with their special menu entries.
A small group of us were here last night, food is AMAZING!! Staff were remarkably courteous and helpful. There was live music for the outdoor eating area, a little loud for my taste but the music was great and upbeat. I will definitely be back here again!!
A Tavolo's is a rare gem in dining for this area. My sweetheart and I just had a very tasty meal prepared by Dave, and hosted by Donna. The food is always delicious, the staff is the best, and tonight the atmosphere for Valentine's Day was splendid. From the fresh flowers on the tables, to the live soothing background music, a wonderful experience all around.
We celebrated my birthday at A Tavolo last night. Customer Service was amazing. They made sure your glass of water was refilled, very attentive. Throughout the dinner we were never rushed and since reservations are strongly recommended, the restaurant is able to book with enough customers so excellent personal attention can be given, rather than overbooking. This made for an intimate dinner and no elbow to elbow tables full of others talking around you. The owner of the restaurant personally approached us to ask us how our meals were. I’d say outstanding!!! I ordered French Onion Soup to start and for my main course, Alfredo Fettuccine with mushrooms and extra sauce. Before I make a review of the dishes, I want to add you are served fresh bread and a nice herbal dipping sauce. Really good. The side salad was very much to my liking with fresh greens, cranberries, and nuts. I had homemade ranch dressing. The French Onion Soup was delicious, the stock was hardy with a slight sweet taste. Loaded with onions and a slice of bread, topped with good cheese to compliment. I think I could make a meal just out of the soup. My Alfredo Fettuccine was a beautiful presentation, and diving into the noodles (home made?) with a wonderful rich Alfredo sauce satisfied my curiosity with pleasant results. The ultimate yum. I can’t wait to warm up my leftovers for lunch today. If I could give this restaurant more stars I would.
Outstanding Valentine's Evening dinner. Menu choices were varied and fairly priced. We ordered bacon wrapped filet. They were cooked to perfection and presented with crisp asparagus . The wine and cocktail menu was a delight and Our waiter Jess made our evening a special event even though he was very busy. I would recommend this restaurant and am glad the located to Chenango Bridge. We will be returning.
Best Italian food not only in Broome County but New York State! Perhaps the entire East Coast! Everything is superb, homemade, and delicious! Really loved the outdoor seating and the atmosphere indoors was top notch/tasteful. Can't wait to visit again soon!
Very nice place Great atmosphere? People very nice. Nathaniel was wonderful. The chef/owner came out to talk with us. Food was fantastic. Thank you! We were there for my best friends bday . Will definitely come back again.
My wife and I stopped in for dinner on our way home from Norwich. First time visit, very pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly and attentive. Pasta bolognese was excellent, although I may request capellini or spaghetti in lieu of fettuccini next time. My wife ordered steak & that was cooked perfectly to her liking. A nice bottle of Chianti completed a very pleasant evening out. a Tavolo is a wonderful addition to Broome dining choices.
Best Italian food I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. Everyone is friendly and attentive. Even the chef came by the table to chat and ensure we were enjoying our meal. Cozy and comfortable with awesome food and staff. We will be back!
First visit tonight with the wife. All around excellent! Quick, friendly, attentive service. Our food was great! My wife loved the marinara sauce, and my Seafood Fra Diavalo was the best I've ever had! We will be back....
Wow! Beautiful place , Beautiful owners , and the food was amazing . Me and my wife travel all over and we will be coming back every time we come through. Ambience, soft music , good food and beautiful company who could ask for more.
Tonight I stopped for dinner to go. The food was delicious, the staff were so very friendly, the redesign is very comfortable, and we cant wait to meet our friends there. Convenient location and great parking. Highly recommend this place. Tell Jesse Hi !!
LOVE THE MUSSELS ❤️ a must stop whenever we are in town
Excellent food, great service and very fair prices. Really nice, welcoming, atmosphere. Will definitely go again. Highly recommend giving them a try.
Plan your dinner carefully because their service hours are short. You're better off going at 6:30 if you want to have a relaxed meal. The food is terrific.
Unexpected dining find in Windsor NY. Stopped here on a Sunday evening and was pleasantly surprised by the food and service. Both of us had a simple pasta dish since this was our first time here. Both meals were excellent. The service was great too. The menu offers more variety than we had expected. We also had an excellent appetizer and dessert. The prices are very reasonable. Will return again for more.
Everything about this place is wonderful. The owner and our waitress made this experience perfect. The dishes we ordered, Gnocchi dish and a Salmon special were delicious. We ended this meal with homemade gelato! Atmosphere was quaint and relaxing. A great night out!
My wife and I were on our way to a different restaurant when we noticed lots of cars in their lot. We stopped in with no expectations. We were pleasantly surprised to a welcoming atmosphere. We thought we would stay for a drink and check out the menu and ended up staying for dinner. My wife had a Gewürztraminer and I had a local IPA. The service was as great as the food. They served fresh bread and rosemary garlic olive oil. We had appetizers as meals since we weren’t that hungry. Everything was wonderful. I can’t wait to return for the chicken saltimbocca. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Our experience was incredible. With 16 of us showing up without a reservation as they opened the doors, I think they were slightly thrown off their game seeing a large number of people coming in, but they were very accommodating. They handled it very professionally and most importantly graciously! They were very kind and attentive and very friendly! It was great to see the chef/owner come out and ask how things were. We gave him around of applause. Oh, and the food....was amazing!! (especially the meatballs) Five Star for sure!
Wonderful Italian food served in a cozy and elegant environment. The menu is simple but hosts a very good selection of different dishes. The service is kind and attentive. The salad is very unique and an experience unlike the usual pre-meal salad one would expect from an Italian restaurant in a very delightful way. I particularly enjoyed the calamari and it might be the best I've ever eaten. My meal was prepared expertly with every culinary aspect in mind. While the prices aren't low, they are more than worth it for the quality of food and service you receive while there.
Vary good service. All the staff stopped to see if we needed anything as they passed our table.. Didn't have to wait for our waiter. Food was vary good and the homemade pasta added to the fresh " made to order" dinners. Portions were generous and moderately priced. I would recommend making reservations or you probably have to wait for a table.
Got the veal saltimbocca and a side of fettuccine with bolognese sauce. Best veal saltimbocca I've ever had (gotten it probably a dozen times at various establishments throughout my life). The bolognese was better than Tony's if you can believe that. The waitress was so nice and funny. The chef came out to check on us. Everything is homemade by him. All in all 10 out of 10; a true hidden gem for italian food in this area. We need to go back!
Just visited here for the first time and it was great! The staff is very attentive. The drinks were top shelf and the food.... I can't say enoughabout the food. It is first rate. The lasagna was by far the best she had tasted in quite sometime. The meat Ravioli was full and tender.. the Seafood Fra Diavolo was top notch, not too spicy but a beautiful taste. The Mussels, Clams, Scallops, and Shrimp were tender and Very tasty. A very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Absolutely will visit here many times. And when the weather is better, they have a patio for total relaxed dining. 😎
First time here. Place was warm & toasty! Nice atmosphere. Great specials! I had the bacon wrapped pork filet with roasted Brussels sprouts ~ DELICIOUS! My husband had The Godfather (chicken park, lasagna, and spaghetti)....cleaned his plate! Friendly and prompt service, too! HIGHLY recommended!!! 5 stars!
A quaint and intimate eatery. Great for a date night or truly local feel. The food is delicious and personable service made for a memorable visit. Unique artwork adorns the walls. I also found that both owners actually work at this restaurant: Front of House and Chef. It is a great thing to find a gem like this where owners take an active participation to make sure everything is top-notch. Give this local place a try! 😊
We enjoy our meals on the covered deck in the back. Always great food. Service was excellent. I am sure I'll come again. Also, inside seating is comfortable and cozy. Bar area is nice too. All around a good choice for a meal.
Excellent out door seating under a large tent with lanterns and patio lighting. Rain or shine the out door deck seating is a great spot to enjoy a nice meal. We sat out back during a light rain and it was cozy and dry. The food was good we both ordered penne a la vodka . The salads are fresh and dressing is home made. The cocktails and deserts are great too. Service was fast and friendly I highly recommend!
Service was friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was very comfortable. The food was great. We will be back.
Beautiful restaurant and delicious food! Ended up having to sit out back but the minute I got a little chilly the manager/owner came and turn on the heater. Warmed the area real quick!! I will definitely go back!! *Fettuccine alfredo*

Attentive service, wonderful people, and some of the best Italian food in Broome County! Also the dining room is so cozy and inviting, I'll definitely be back
We love A Tavolo. It’s one of our go to dinner restaurants. One of our favorite parts is how accommodating they are of allergies. We have a dairy allergy and a nut allergy in our family so restaurants that are accommodating of these needs are super important. The chef is amazing. He can make the majority of their menu dairy free. All of the wait staff is very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to others. It truly is a local gem.
Took the advice from one of my customers and we gave it a try.. which led to a 1st time random Friday night stop, there was a good crowd which is a nice sign. Food was great, prices were reasonable, the place was nice, the people were very nice. I had the bay scallops st Jaque. A fancy house salad with bread and the triple chocolate brownie for dessert. All were really good. My gf had the fettuccine Alfredo with meatballs. Truly a hidden gem in the neighborhood. For the people on the other side of town.. it really would be worth the drive. Reservations are required.. Applause to the owner for such great restaurant.
3 of us dined there and all of us were very pleased. One of the few places I've been able to get meat ravioli and it was great. We had a new server but she was great. It's a smaller operation so be patient. It's worth the wait. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.
A Tavolo was a beautiful restaurant. It is small, but it's a very cozy feel. The staff was very friendly and pleasant and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend. ETA: I can't speak more highly of the owners and staff. Everyone is so sweet and I honestly adore them.
Excellent meal, excellent service. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
We were a family of 8 celebrating a graduation and made a reservation months before. The service was great, the food was lovely, and we had a wonderful time. We'll be sure to pop in again next time we're in town!
Just wow! I’ve been so disappointed dining out for so long and this place really set the bar for what dinning should be. Both owners work in house and checked on my table. My server Nate was personable, knowledgeable and very pleasant. 5 stars isn’t enough for this small family owned business and I couldn’t recommend it enough!
My first experience here was an absolute delight. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed the very modest humble exterior and thought this might be a mid grade restaurant at best. My opinion changed rather quickly as the interior is beautiful, warm and has a wonderful vibe. We were greeted with much friendliness and dinnertime began. After starting with drinks and fresh bread, our meals all came with a nice fresh salad. Then the main course was absolutely delicious and large portions. During the whole time, the owner and our waitress checked in with us to be certain we were satisfied. They truly cared! Pricing was very reasonable as well. In summary, next time I'm in town this will be a mandatory stop off and I highly recommend you do the same.
An amazing experience all the way around. This place has knocked it outta the park….the scrumptious and tasty food, relaxing and cozy atmosphere, and of course the outstanding customer service. You can’t go wrong stopping here for some of the best Italian food around. 5+++Stars!
Great service!!! Food was very good, we dined outside. There was live music, but the music was way too loud and talking was very difficult. Inside dining is great, and we’ve been several times.
This is such a wonderful cozy place! The food is wonderful. The people are wonderful. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

Folks were friendly and the service was very good. Prefer my sauce a bit sweeter, a little tangy for me.
Nice atmosphere. Wait staff excellent very attentive. Food was good and hot.
Really good food reasonable price and great service. Definitely going again sometime!
Food was good. Service was mediocre. No one was aware of what was available on tap.
Great service! Cozy atmosphere. 337 Cabernet sauvignon was a nice companion to the flavorful and hearty eggplant parmigiana. Will definitely make a return visit.
Great place for an intimate dinner or a small group of six people or fewer. Nicely decorated. Cozy, friendly, and warm. Food was good, too !
A very nice Italian restaurant, with very good food. The restaurant was previously a house so it is on the smaller side. Reservations are highly recommended. A bit pricey.
Food was excellent and the waitress wonderful, however it was over an hour before our main entree was served.
MELISSA GREAT JOB GREAT HUMOR. OUR MEALS VERY GOOD ALL WERE HAPPY. IT WAS SO GOOD WE MADE RESERVATIONS NEXT THUR. AND ADDED 2 MORE TO JOIN. US. REGARDS JIM WE REQUEST TO HAVE MELISSA AS OUR SERVER.
Nice but very small place to eat fine dining food. Not a family style restaurant. Good service. A bit pricey.
Food was delicious, waiter was awesome and they care about what they do. Very nice restaurant.
Really nice dinner: Calamari, salad, Lime and black bean Pork, Mussels Scampi, HOME MADE PASTA (delicious!), really good desserts. Good wine selection and service was warm and welcoming. Absolutely must try this place out!
Service is excellent. Pasta and capers, muscles and bread with garlic olive oil are all delicious. Only 4 stars because at 7:30 on a Saturday evening they were out of stock of a few menu items
I’m going to say 4 stars on food, and my server was great. The older woman, whom I guess is a career waitress was beyond rude and offensive. Quick summary: I walked in at 5pm to a completely empty restaurant and was seated on the patio on a beautiful evening. The career waitress suggested/implied I should move to a much smaller table that was basically shoved in a corner. I said no, because I was already seated and she said that all these tables were reserved. I asked her if she honestly thought that each and every table would be filled in the 45 minutes that I would be there for. She kept suggesting that I switch at which point I began telling her how rude she was actually being. So - if you don’t have to deal with her, your actual experience will be very good. The food was great. We usually eat in Endicott when we go for Italian. Some people just don’t know any better when it comes to working with the public. All good. It’s a post-Covid world. Side note: in this day & age be grateful for every patron you get.

Service great, as was the bread and appetizers. Food not bad. A little to much sauce (easy to add more so would recommend using a little less). Also sauce good but a little bitter like it was boiled to long or down to much. Lasagna cold in the center, I’m sure they would’ve warmed up if I asked. Still overall very good and it’s hard to judge from tasting one batch of sauce and one visit. Look forward to returning. The staff was a big part of that - just a great staff.

Food was ever good, meals were the right size ( not too much, I don't like having a serving which requires take home) good appetizers, good wine, will go back!
Really wanted to love this place. Atmosphere was very nice, classic Italian feels, small intimate dining space. The waitstaff was pleasant, albeit inexperienced. Limited but appealing menu, reasonable wait for the food. Then it just got awkward from there. The sauce for the chicken piccata was excellent… but the chicken had folded over during cooking and was raw inside. The waitstaff took it to the owner which offered to warm it up, but denied the ask to comp it on the bill. We decided to just cut our losses and wrap up and go, when the chef came out, claimed to be uninformed about it but also did nothing to make it right, and disappeared to the back. Was very odd. It seems others have all had much better experiences so we are left to presume it was an off night. However we won’t be back.
The inside of the place smells musty. Not very appetizing. We sat outside and the food was mediocre at best.
Excellent service. Food was a long way from authentic italian. Long wait for food and so disappointing. Sucks
As I understand it this place just opened up. For starters the table by the door (poor guy sitting there) is in the entryway. The back porch was nice. Water was cool but it needed ice. The salad was on a bread plate. It was small to say the least. Bag the nuts. You never know who has allergies. Let's face it not everyone expects there to be nuts in the salad and nary a tomato, onion or cucumber to be seen. The fettuccine was homemade but was not cooked through. I get aldente but this stood up on the fork. Alfredo had ricotta in It? Just not traditional. Upgrade the bread and maybe some hot pepper flakes in the dipping oil. Red sauce was tasty. Good luck to you (I mean that sincerely). Hope you continue to make improvements. It's a decent start.
Quaint old house turned into a restaurant. Nice bar and nice ambience. The wait staff is prompt and continuously checks on your table. That part is all excellent, but let's talk about the food. The spaghetti sauce was almost plain tomato sauce. The spaghetti as a side to the chicken marsala and the chicken parmesan was cold. The meatballs with the spaghetti seemed like the bread crumbs weren't well mixed into the meat. It seemed like you'd get chunks of bread crumbs as you were chewing the meatballs. The Alfredo sauce on the fettuccini Alfredo dish was very bland. It was very creamy but lacked the cheese flavor you'd expect from an Alfredo sauce. The chicken in the chicken parmesan was over done and very dry. On another positive, the portion sizes were very good and at a fair price. The quality and taste of the food needs some work, though.
Came here for Valentines weekend. Saw the reviews were great and the regular menu prices were decent so we were excited. Upon sitting down and reading the "special" Valentine's Day menu, it was crazy over priced than the regular menu. Ordered the cheapest thing on the menu, the potato was undercooked and the chicken was just not what I expected. Overall wish the prices for this special menu could have been shown online prior.
Put in a take out order was told no take out a this time I am sick so we could not go called cortese and it was all better 50 dollars later
To start the meal off, the arancini appetizer was burnt. When the next course came, it was a flavorless veal marsala that my date had to add about a teaspoon of salt to to make it palatable. My fettuccine alfredo with chicken? The chicken was burnt, and the "alfredo" was lifeless. When I asked the waiter if there was ricotta in it (that was the taste and texture), he asked the "chef". He came back and informed me that the only two ingredients were parmesan and half and half. REALLY!? Half and half? How cheap can you be? You use heavy cream for an alfredo! Still, we took the food to go. We were low on dog food at home. I recommend this "restaurant" to people that have never had Italian food. Everyone else will be disappointed. Oh, and one other thing... They advertise "imported pasta". Not "homemade". Don't be confused. Any pasta made in another country is "imported". You can buy Molinari or Barilla across the street at Price Chopper. Both of those are imported too.
Salad was not Italian it had raisins in it. Meatballs were over cooked. Veal marsala tasted all the flour. Bread and dipping sauce was good.
I want to start with the fact that the food was very good. We have no complaints about the food or our waitress (after our initial encounter). This review is based on the service we experienced when we first arrived, which I have to say turned us off to this place immediately, and we probably won't be return because of it. When we pulled in, there were only 2 other cars in the lot so we assumed they probably weren't too busy. We stepped in the door at 7:04 on a Sunday. Mind you, their Sunday hours list that they close at 8. MOST restaurants we have ever dined at (we eat out at least 2x a week) list their hours as the time they stop seating people, but regardless EVEN IF they were actually closing at 8, we still had almost an entire hour to be seated, eat, and leave, in my opinion/experience that was plenty of time. So 3 of us awkwardly stood in the doorway and waited as a younger waitress was busy in the waitress station across from us, not even acknowledging that we were there. A few minutes go by and another waitress came by and told us that they close at 8 and said she had to run in the back and ask if it's OK that we are there. At that point I looked at my phone and we had already been standing there for nearly 11 minutes before anyone even came up to us. In front of us, she asked the younger waitress if she was going to seat us, and she said that she was just going to finish what she was doing at the moment. The other waitress then seated us soon after. As I said before, food was great, and staff was friendly. But this seemed a little ridiculous, and slightly unprofessional. And to top it off, we walked out the door at 7:52, before they even closed. So all of that waiting, checking, and making your guests feel awkward was for nothing, and had it not occurred, would have absolutely resulted in a 5 star review from me. If you want to close at 8, maybe update your hours to reflect that you close at 7 instead, to avoid anyone walking in if you consider the entire last hour too late for customers to come in. Otherwise, what is the purpose of listing that you close at 8 if you expect customers to be there well before 7??? It's a little misleading. Update- now seeing that this has been responded to, I'm a little more irritated. To start, I believe you may have generously rounded based on your cameras, but I am glad you checked to prove a point. But - maybe you should be more worried about addressing the fact that you've successfully made guests feel awkward for trying to have dinner within your business hours, in what was a completely empty restaurant at that point.
