The food is fast, and good. My issue is with the cleanliness of the restaurant. The tables, walls, and seats are always dirty. Its a shame since this place is always busy.

It’s 98 degrees: please !!! Fix your AC. Your loyal customers are dying in here. This location is one I visit often due to convenience of location. It’s one of my fave spots to come and relax and I’ve been coming for a few years. The food is usually well prepared and decent. However the atmosphere is poor due to the lack of cleanliness; the floors are typically dirty, sticky and the tables are not wiped down often enough. I usually have to clean my own table. The ladies restrooms are always dirty and often don’t have soap. The staff in general Is decent and friendly but lack customer service training and are often clueless about promos, rewards and new menu items. They either have no idea or don’t want to check which implies laziness. I do wish they would bring back the buzzers to inform you when your order is ready instead of yelling out, it’s so unprofessional. I do hope this location improves. The wait time has improved this year but everything else has not.

Service is bad and food arrived later than promised. Food had missing ingredients, like hummus on my Mediterranean veggie sandwich. Not even cut properly, veggies all over the place. Disappointed and will not order at this store again.

This location makes Panera Bread look really bad. I've been here at opening, at lunch and at closing time and at none of these times have they had all bagels baked. I don't understand how a store can open in the morning and already be out of certain bagels. I had to drive to another location just to get what I wanted and that is unacceptable.

Horrible I did ask for in a half steak sanwish. And what I got was only the bread because it was not meat nothing alot of bread but nothing inside. Horrible I will never go back there and I will not recommend that place.

This location was clean. The atmosphere once inside felt friendly, welcoming, and inviting. The staff were smiling and making jokes it seemed like a very good work environment. However this is a place where you need to check your receipt to make sure they don’t charge you for something you did not order. Pros: I got the chocolate croissant. It was amazing and I would definitely come back for another one. The outside was flaky and buttery with a chocolate drizzle, and the inside had so many layers and the chocolate was really gooey and sweet. Cons: There was no prompting by the employee that took my order (which I believe was the manager in a light blue collared shirt) so if this is your first time at a Panera you’re probably not gonna get what you’re expecting if you don’t know the menu and how to order. I ordered a blueberry bagel with cream cheese. I received a sliced cold blueberry bagel with a side container of cream cheese and no utensils. I was expecting a toasted bagel with cream cheese already on it, so that was a letdown. At the very least a knife or something to spread it with. There was no utensils by the napkins or the coffee machine. ALSO, I had to ask for my receipt the manager was going to throw it away. I wish I had looked at it in the store because they charged me for a blueberry muffin instead of a blueberry bagel (that’s $4 vs $2).

I am a regular customer of this brand, Well, this is my first time in the Bronx and this is a very bad place. Look, they saved so much, everything here must be avocado. In fact, there is not even a letter here, but nothing to save on everything and This food is cold. It shouldn't be like this, it should be hotter. I don't recommend this point 😡👎🏿

Ordered delivery 2 times both times items left out of order.The sandwich which is supposed to have steak on it barely had any they also left out the sauce I requested on the side.Terrible Panera bread will not order again.

Worst Panera location to ever exist. Terrible service. Never gives utensils even when asked for. Never gives straws. Constantly missing items. Will not be ordering from again.

100% the worst Panera bread experience you could be subjected to. Especially after being to better establishments. We ordered the French onion soup in a bread bowl, and there was literally no broth. You’d expect the bread to soak it up, except the bread on the bottom was dry. When we took it back to the counter, the employee said (with a straight face) we should’ve ordered the regular bowl, and the bread bowl with it on the side, as if that’s a normal thing to do. I settled and went back to our table and tried to continue chewing our soup. Two bites in was absolutely enough for me, and I went back and asked for at least more broth for the bowls, as we were CHEWING OUR SOUP. The excuse this time was that they haven’t sold the soup all day so it has gotten thick. I’m writing this at 1:03pm. We received out order at 12:39. They’ve been open since 7, and they close at 9pm. Also, the lemonades are disgusting. The pomegranate flavor especially tastes like fabuloso. All around has declined since my last visit & though I’m a local, I’m never coming back here.

I am currently at your Bay Plaza location where I am paying for below subpar food and service. The cleanliness of the seating area calls into question the cleanliness of the food station and back area as it is riddled with dirty tables, food on the floor and even beverages clearly spilled all over a sector on the chairs and table. When we requested a table please be cleaned so we may sit the manager handed us a wipe to clean it ourselves but not before he squeezed out the liquid from it. When I received my sandwich the chicken was cold and rubbery as if it had been reheated repeatedly then left out. When I requested another sandwich please be made, I was given one where it was burned to the point where even the avocado inside was brown and crisp in addition to the bread making noise when touched with the plate. When I asked for the regional contact information the manager offered to throw my sandwich out. Additionally, the cheddar broccoli soup was stale. If needed, I have pictures and video for reference. The only positive experience was how courteous the cashier/server with the long braids and dotted tattoos was. The service here is one of the examples of why service in the Bronx has a bad rep.

The food sucks! The service is horrible!!! And even the head supervisor does not know what he's doing! All the food came out cold (the soup, the mac and cheese and the hot sandwich). And when I went up respectfully, I was told oh theres a microwave right over there. Like excuse me? I literally had just gotten my food and how is it cold? For that I could have bought the stuff in the super market which they sell panera now and microwaved it at home.. What kind of service is this? I spent over $60 in food and to get it cold and not even made the proper way. Everything was terrible. The bowls were not even filled like cup sizes and i found other meat inside my chicken sandwich. Again how??? This place has became so disgusting and not even clean. Never coming here again!!!

Manager by the name of “Gus” seems very unhappy with his job, or having a bad day. he is very unprofessional and condescending. He totally ignored me when i went in the store to pick up my order. he said “if i don’t see the order on the counter then obviously it’s not ready with an attitude a very rude tone”. I let him know that i didn’t appreciate the way he was talking to me and that he needs to fix his behavior, he immediately told me if i can’t wait i need to get out the store before he calls the police or security.
