The drinks are delicious, the bagels fluffy, and the owners are the sweetest. Added Bonus: there are always quirky trinkets, homemade journals, printed cards, vinyls and cool art you can buy while waiting
Wonderful establishment but I wish they were vegan friendly. I asked for something vegan friendly and they added egg. 5 stars though because the place is really nice.
i was covering a shift for work and never noticed this spot first time here and won’t be my last , i got a kimchi bacon and cream cheese bagel and didn’t disappoint i was so intrigued by this combo, for coffee i got there double strength iced coffee with vanilla and oat and good think i got a L because it is sooooo goooood
This Cafe was amazing! The food was delicious, the staff were friendly (esp. Taylor, Jordan and Issac). They were also efficient and the venue itself was very welcoming. 100% would recommend! Bring your appetite!
Stopped by this cozy place and really enjoyed my experience. The coffee was smooth and flavorful definitely a step above your average cup. What really stood out to me, though, was the ambiance. The space has a relaxed, artistic vibe with interesting artwork on the walls and a variety of cool, eclectic touches throughout. It’s the kind of place where you can sit and think, work, or just enjoy your drink and surroundings. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!
Four of us went in for brunch and had the bacon, egg and cheese bagel, salmon lox and cream cheese bagel and a couple of refried beans, egg and cilantro toast sandwiches, with some piping hot coffees and sodas. Lovely service and everything was delicious! As a smaller spot, so I'd recommend taking away but we managed to get a table and were able to enjoy the atmosphere. Will definitely be back before we leave Brooklyn!
Fast, affordable, delicious breakfast and lunch options. Cute cozy space, well decorated. It gets a 5 star for as affordable tasty food in a nice space. Things I ordered Drip coffee Avocado & egg bagel with cafe 19 sauce Spicy chicken, kale, mozzarella, egg whole wheat toast Cheese Danish Coffee is standard The bagel was well flavored, and the filling was balanced. The spicy chicken sandwich was full of flavor, not super spicy. I would eat two of them if I could. Danish/pastries are standard (generic ones available in many cafes in NYC), I asked them to toast it up. Space is small, tight but cozy. Fully sat, it can seat about 16 people. Drip, chicken sandwich and Danish costed me $21. Good prices.
One of the best avocado mash and BEC I’ve ever had. Came here for the first time yesterday. Ordered pick up and got there just when they finished. Food was nice and hot and was planning to write a review but I wanted photos. It was too late. Came again today, food was ready and was greeted by a different person but still very kind. Again my meal didn’t disappoint! Let’s get into i: Avocado mash - 5 stars perfect portion of avocado on their wheat bread. With the egg and little honey they put on it, mwah chefs kiss! I wish I had put hot sauce on it (which they have) but still good without BEC - this is the winner for me! I got it on an everything bagel and each ingredient was so fresh both times. Nobody is doing it like 19 Cafe! They wrap Your sandwiches in these cute paper (see photos below) gotta say this might just be my new breakfast spot. Oh and did I say it’s soooo affordable for being in Williamsburg. Yall gotta check them out.
The coffee is great I just can't imagine a place that sells a diuretic and doesn't have a bathroom to use. Such a nice place but I can't go back there to chill out of the blue. I will need to have had it planned make sure that I use the restroom don't drink any water so that I can enjoy the coffee and hopefully my bowels won't work. Lol. But the coffee was good
Very cute and small spot. I had the pork soup with soba. It was good, however I was still hungry after I was done. I didn't try anything else, but other people were eating next to me and they're sandwiches looked delicious. Please be aware that the menu prices on Google are incorrect, also that they no longer serve pork belly 😑 because people were complaining about the calories. They now serve roast pork. Overall, I likes it and will come back for a sandwich instead of the soup.
The beet, egg & avacado sandwich was very good! However, my oat latte was so bad I took 3 sips & threw it away. Idk if the person working just didn't know how to make a latte but when I opened the lid, there was no foam & just dark coffee. That told me it was just coffee with a tiny bit of milk in it. My friends salad wasn't great either he said. So maybe stick to sandwiches here.
The avocado toast was fairly average. Based on other reviews, it seems the recipe may not be very consistent, as the preparation and ingredients appear to change from time to time. The rye bread was quite thin and lacked much flavor. The avocado mash was a bit runny and felt under-seasoned, and there was a slight sweetness—possibly honey—that didn’t really complement the dish. Despite there being no line, it took about 15 minutes for a single avocado toast to be served, which felt longer than expected. From an overall experience standpoint, some details could be improved. The door frequently opening and closing could be addressed, and having the restroom available for customers would make the space more welcoming.
