Been coming to this coffee shop since the second day it was opened. It's STILL astounding how delicious the coffees are. I tend toward the darker roasts, and each one is a revelation. The cold brew too is powerful and gratifying.

Love the authenticity of the store, its not your typical coffee shop this is made for coffee lovers, the people there go out of your way to make sure you want your coffee the way you want it and boy do they know their coffee, we didn't like one type of chai tea( its just not our preference) and they didnt charge for it!

I love this place! It's one of the very few kosher coffee shops with a real coffee shop vibe. A great place to go get some work done or sit and schmooze. Coffee's great, there's some pastries, sandwiches, and relatively expensive but delicious salads. The guy at the register really makes it great- he remembers everyone, remembers people's regular orders, and is full of positive energy.

It's a shame that someone created a fake Instagram account pretending to be the owner, and is trying to ruin the store's reputation by spewing racist and disgraceful comments. While I was there, there were customers from all different ethnicities, and every customer was treated the same; with much respect.

It’s cute ! A lot of selection when it come to Kosher options . I’m not of the religion at all , but the front guy was really helpful in guiding me through the options. The back guy where you pick up just let me pack my own food to go with forks and all , maybe because he didn’t think I wasn’t dining there or part of the community but it is what it is . Cute, trendy spot with very good coffee (roasted in-house). A variety of baked goods and grab-and-go brunch-type items are available for purchase. Really really good, friendly, fast service. Amazing location. Reliable hechsher. I chose a latte and muffin and my 3 year old had a yogurt with granola. Both food items were delicious and fresh; the coffee was very good. The only mark against this place is that there isn't a lot of seating and some of it is inconveniently located (a large table of people was blocking the handwash sink). I would visit here again.

great energy in this place. oriel behind the counter is the best you can always count on him for a smile however busy the place gets. comfy, warm, hipster aesthetic. I usually get a salad or shakshuka and cappuccino, and my son loves their fluffy ginormous pancakes - their regular coffee is too strong/acidic for my unsophisticated pallete but coffee afficianados are apparently impressed as well!

Love coming here for my cinnamon cheese danish and coffee. Very welcoming place. Highly recommend.

Christmas Eve-and was pleasantly surprised by their food & taste quality! I got the salmon salad and a sweet roll with some sort of crème filling. It was all very delicious and definitely reminded me of my family’s cooking so I would give A++ for that alone!

Very charming little place! The staff was friendly to everyone, but the customers are standoffish unless you're a regular. The coffee is excellent quality, as so are their various ingredients. And their service is wonderful, they bring you the drinks so you don't have to wait in line or come back up! Excellent as a little treat!

We had the pleasure of eating at the newly expanded 1982 Coffee shop a number of times in the past few weeks, and these pro coffee roasters truly know their trade. It might not be the cheapest place in town, but one does not walk away feeling unsatisfied after eating one of their gourmet breakfast sandwiches and delicious coffee drinks. And the guy up front gives great service with a hearty smile!

I think everyone like the place

Ordered via Uber eats probably an hour ago. Food arrived fast but the quality is subpar, wish they would have taken more time. One of my chocolate chip pancakes was burnt but sadly that was the most taste on the pancakes, the non burnt pancake was warm, fluffy but not flavorful nor did the chocolate chips have a distinct taste. Also to include one syrup for two plate size pancakes should be a crime after spending nearly $15 for them. I also got a tuna sandwich on ciabatta which was better because of the toasted bread but the tuna itself lacked seasoning. My iced coffee is actually decent but I added cinnamon dolce syrup which is non existent. Had high hopes but overall very disappointed

Pushy, grumpy, rude person working the register. Our first time in. Restaurant not a coffee shop, skip this one for bad food, bad coffee and bad atmosphere. Quick notes: - Kiosks require person checking out to input a table number, he acted like I should have known where they were (a pile of metal numbers by the main POS, not listed on the tables), I apologized and sat down. I brought the number up to get our order (I was then scolded for not leaving the number on the table) We then got settled and popped open our laptops, I walked up and asked for a WiFi password, he scowled and said “this is a restaurant not a coffee shop.” I think he was the owner as he complained about how much he pays to operate a business (obviously my fault). Mind you there is a coffee roaster in the back, the name of the business etc all point to a Coffee Shop vibe. The pourover I watched being made was left to get cold halfway completed with a dry bed while the barista made blender drinks. After all this we just tried to hand the drinks back and leave, we both didn’t feel welcome. He refunded us but was extremely rude to both of us, made fun of the name I input (my name) tried to argue with us about paying the bills etc. We were not welcome or wanted there. No music playing, poor service. I think an easy polite sign against laptops or on the window would be well received and avoid this entirely. “No Wifi Cafe! We kindly ask that our customers refrain from using laptops to maintain a restaurant atmosphere.”

Went in to get coffee, and got a straight up glass of milk. We could not drink the coffees we bought and had to discard them eventually. We dint try the food which looked good as everyone in the cafe was eating but almost noone had coffee on the table. The coffee is not recommended. Also, it is more expensive compared to almost any other coffee shop in NYC including the premium brands like Blue Bottle. A medium hot latte with whole milk and a small hot latte with Almond milk was $13 total without tip. Service on the other hand is friendly and prompt.

no seasoning used AT ALL. very over priced and bland. the iced coffee with brown sugar was still crystallized at the bottom, you have to melt it with hot water and then mix into drink.
