A Maz Zing! period! I'm from North Carolina, and the bagels there are chewy, but here at sunset bagels, they are soft and luxurious. Staff is helpful and fast. Vast food options throughout the day are available other than bagels. A must if you are in Brooklyn.

The nighttime front counter cashier named Kat is one of the most genuine sweetest caring individuals I have ever met. I always enjoy going in at night and seeing her smiling across the counter. This place has amazing service and amazing food and I love supporting my local deli because of people like her thank you so much, Kat you rock.

If you're looking for a delicious breakfast on the go that isn't going to break the bank, or to dine in, pop over to Sunset Bagels! They have an impressive variety of options to choose from. Their bagels are delicious (I highly recommend the Everything Egg Bagel with veggies cream cheese. Their veggie cream cheese has chunks of diced up veggies and it is SO good!) Their peach iced tea was also very good. I had gotten a pistachio muffin to go so I could enjoy it on my return trip home that afternoon. While it did taste like pistachio (I've tried some that had no flavor, at all.), and I was pleasantly surprised to find it had pistachio pieces in it, the muffin itself was a bit dry. The bagels and muffin were the only items I have tried there, but my friends enjoyed any of the items they purchased (breakfast and lunch wraps). I'll definitely be giving their lunch options a try on a future trip to Brooklyn because everything looked delicious!

A pretty nice neighborhood diner. People who work here are friendly and kind. Typical dinner food, with big well-chopped salads, good soups and pretty good hamburgers. Onion rings are yummy!

I came here to get a quick bite while visiting Brooklyn. I got a cheeseburger with fries. The cheeseburger was big with a very good bun, bit it was lacking in flavor. It came with lots of fries and they were good.

They not only have bagels but great tasting pastries. The place is busy and they have a decent system so the wait time is not long but makes u feel rushed and like ur part of an assembly line. I also felt it was a bit overpriced.

But being curious myself, I went for a prosciutto and mortadella on a roll. The presentation was fine. It was as I would expect nothing flashy but definitely presentable for eating it. It was great the first half and then upon further inspection The second half of the sandwich has many little pieces of plastic on it from the mortadella and prosciutto. There was a little too no precaution taken to prepare my roll. The place is OK to eat at. I just wouldn’t go out of my way to eat any cold cuts from here.

Just pick up breakfast at 5:00 am, 08/28/25 it seems to me this people can't get it straight on the orders, I park in front of my job, ready to have breakfast and there's no utensils, so I had to pull out my knife and eat with that, very disappointed, will not be ordering from this place anymore.

Giving one star is extremely generous. This place is very dirty, wait time is crazy and the food is very expensive and not even good. We purchased a BEC and an order of chicken tenders and fries, the BEC was very mid, had no flavor and it was more air than food in that bagel. The chicken tenders and fries were rancid and we got a stomach virus afterwards. I also saw a video online of the owner talking extremely rude things and yelling at Hispanic food truck owners/vendors. Don’t go here and spend your well earned money on food that is actually worth it.

Everytime I called to place an order I was put on hold, waited about 15 mins on HOLD so I had no other choice to go in person come to find out there was only 1GUY IN THE FRONT WORKING ALONE. He would pick up the phone and say please hold and work solely on in person orders. Not the employees fault, understandable but this is for the management, If you’re going to operate a 24 hr deli then do better and make sure you have enough people instead of harassing small business owners trying to make a living.
