Love this place. The WiFi is great, the seating is great, they serve coffee AND beer, and they have karaoke and other events most nights. What's not to like? --- EDIT: no liquor license, no more nighttime events, still a great coffee shop though
This place is the best coffee shop in nyc! The staff makes you feel right at home, the coffee + tea options are delightful. And the food… INCREDIBLE. Night life is also so fun! Definitely a place to check out!
Very good place, really good coffee and my bagel with lox was good. Only complaint would be the one customer that loudly talked on the phone and would switch between normal and speakerphone for the entire time I was there. Most people there looked like they were annoyed by him. Place itself and the employees were great though
Really nice spot w plenty of study space & fairly priced coffee and food. The people that work there reflect the neighborhood too, we love to see it. Very welcoming, clean, and kosher environment.
The coffee here always tastes fresh, it smells inviting, I am never disappointed with a bagel and cream cheese here. The staff with special mention to Ceven are cool, and remember regulars. Much like all night skate they embrace the lgbtiaq and black experience and incorporate it into the atmosphere in a way that is comfortable, relaxing, and inviting. They are clearly supported by the local community as all of the books are donated and the activity board has local events changed out by guests. If you ever swing by pick up a book, grab a coffee and take a seat. It won't take you long to understand the local vibe Constructive criticism -- I wish these guys curated their community cork board themselves -- awesome possibilities there
There's always fun to be had here, great drinks at reasonable prices. Plenty of fun events here too but karaoke is always of the chain!
Been here maybe 4 or 5 times since I moved to the neighborhood. Friendly staff (they give great recommendations to upgrade your drink, take it if it’s offered!) and clean environment. Was able to come one day and just relax and do some class work in peace. At night, the coffee turns to alcohol and they have events depending on the day which are usually fun with a friend or two with you. Board games available! It’s a dope experience to have near home
Pretty big and chill vibes! We fit a group of 7 friends meeting up after a while. I ordered the nog fog tea which was cool and a bagel with cream cheese which was 50% off since it was around 4pm. We played a fee of their many board games and had a good time! At 5pm they switched from cafe to bar which was cool
The minute I walked in I felt the wonderful vibe of this cafe. It’s very spacious and the music is great! I love the set up of the shop really neat. The wifi connection was fast. The pastry I ordered (Banana pecan muffin ) was delicious. Overall great experience. This is my new hangout spot.
It's a wonderful place with great people. Check out Jay Murphy's variety show for the best in up-and-coming comedians musicians and poets.
Great coffee shop and bar. The staff here are incredibly nice. Highly recommend this location to get out of the house if you need to get some work done. They have events in the evenings and now offer tacos. Their bar staff cook up new signature cocktails and are very knowledgeable if you're looking to try something different!
Great place. Nice atmosphere, decent amount of outlets, great coffee and cider— this chocolate chip cookie is amazing. Heated up cider was so good, got another one. They even had gluten-free pastries and all at end of day for a dollar.
Love this lil shop, inviting atmosphere, great drinks and baked goods, overall my fav spot to sit down on the weekend get some work done while enjoying the vibe. The food is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend everything. I just had the bbq chicken sandwich and it was better than Chick-fil-a!!
I really love this place. This was my second time here, but it totally feels like home. I love this place! Love the coffee, love the drinks and love the food options. The staff is super friendly here and informative. Great outdoor section and indoor section as well. I came for a show and an Open Mic and both were very professionally run! High recommend.
I have been a regular here for years, the staff has always been very welcoming. I would like to particularly highlight Kay Kay, Nai & Cevin. On top of being spectacular baristas, they go above and beyond the call of duty every time. I mean they literally have my order memorized. They are always warm and inviting and that’s a lot to receive in these times. As a queer Black femme there’s not a lot of places that feel inviting, this is one.
Karaoke for my god mothers bday was awesome!
Great staff, great coffee and the vegetarian breakfast burritos were tasty. It’s a good spot to have a break or work for a while. The crowd is really unique too. Overall a great find in that neighborhood.
The big breakfast was delicious! Eggs and pancakes fluffy! Enough food to share for 2. Definitely will be a repeat customer. *coffee always on point
My favorite looking coffee before I go into the train station. Nighttime vibes are very fun especially on Friday! Shout out to my all my morning baristas who always know my order before I even come inside!
Such a lovely place. My partner and I decided to explore a new coffee shop in our neighborhood and we decided on The Daily Press. It was perfect. The space is so comfortable! We were able to spend time writing there and listening to an incredible playlist. The spot moonlights as both a coffee shop and a bar. We were there for coffee time all the way into bar time. I asked the bartender for a mocktail and he whipped up his own creation! It was exquisite. There is also a chess club there every Monday and I got to play chess for the first time in a while. I am definitely coming back regularly!
Been coming here for about two years now through different phases of my life. The staff here has always been respectful and courteous to guests and each other. It never feels like a "cafe," but a "second home" at best. Noah, Cev, Garen, Kay, and the rest of the crew has been amazing and this place is an oasis, a safe haven, in an urban desert.
Friendly faces, comfortable atmosphere, tasty food n drinks. The perfect coffee shop, I wish we had one on the west coast!
Just loved it here. Real communal feel, lovely baristas and INSANELY good sandwiches. Great value for what you get, I'd be a regular if I lived just a little closer.
Very nice staff, customers are chill, diverse and everyone just happened to have a unique style. The space is big enough to get some work done on a date with a friend. Enough outlets and I like that they open early. This is a gem and is close to me, so that's a plus too. Love the music they play. Will definitely go back. Didn't try the food but maybe next time.
The best place in all the five boroughs. Word during the day and party at night. I have taken many ladies and fellows here and each has only sung praises. Ah, Daily Press, you always do impress.
I received the best customer service from them and im planning to go back again !! Thank you guys i had a brast.
Love love this coffee shop. It’s such a relaxing atmosphere. The burgers are delicious and music selection almost always on point.
what you wish every other coffee shop in new york was. the others can’t achieve it because they lack the most important ingredient- charm. this place offers a nice atmosphere with fast wifi, decent food, good coffee that’s relatively affordable. no time limit on your stay, you can work out of here all day (please buy multiple coffees or food as a courtesy if you do though support this spot!!) and they support local artists through community events. they turn into a cool bar at night they has a good vibe. this place is what “Nook” is going for but can’t achieve for the life of them.
This is definitely my favorite coffee shop in Brooklyn. Their coffee and teas are delicious, the baristas are so friendly and cool, the music is great, and the vibe overall is just always pleasant. I come here often! This place is truly a gem.
A true Brooklyn experience. Food and coffee were delicious (vegan lemon matcha bread, hash brown, smoked lavender latte). Service was super friendly. I would absolutely return!
This cafe is great! Despite the gentrification vibe of the neighborhood this cafe at least make everyone feel comfortable. Nice open space, plenty of windows, and the cafe has a feeling of you working at newspaper company that’s a coffee cafe. No newspapers for sale though lol! They have a lot of entertainment nights such as karaoke, jazz night and comedy. This spot as a lot of Great energy!
The Daily Press has a very cozy atmosphere and host many events throughout the week. The staff are nothing short but fantastic and as a frequent goer, it's a nice spot to meet people, have focused study/work and have good conversations. I usually have tea there and Jay who man's the Tacos and Burritos has a variety of choices for your pallette in case you're hungry. Now, I'm very biased to one event in particular (because it's chess night! ) It all started because the question was asked. Can there be a chess night here? And Gabe who is a bartender there and has a very recognizable laugh was very open to the venue becoming a spot for chess. Shout out to Josh for also giving the green light! It started earlier this year and had been growing since. Newcomers learning the game for the first time, people who've played it once and coming back to it, as well as intermediate and advanced players. It's quite the event, and there have been clock games as well as bughouse and hand and brain chess happening. With that being said they have a social media page and keep up to date for other events happening. If I recall, Monday is chess night, are Board game nights, Thuesdays Jazz and Fridays are Karaoke nights! Check out @daily_press @dailypresschess and photos are by @k_dmphotos on Instagram.
this was fr the last truly community oriented late-night coffeehouse in the entire city. so heartbroken they had to close <\3 i will miss u
The platonic ideal of a cafe. A nice selection of drinks and pastries (and breakfast burritos available all day) in a bright, airy space. The barista was friendly and helpful. Vegan apple ginger bread and spiced honey coffee were a match made in heaven. I hope I can come back in the evening to enjoy the bar. There's also a sizable selection of books and board games, and a printer for public use. For casual historical architecture/design nerds, the original huge arched windows, brick walls, and original hardwood floor are all intact.
I’m very much loving The Daily Press. A place that works like a cafe, stays open late, and serves alcohol in the evening is a great idea. Their weekly events also keep things lively and give great folks in the community a chance to show out. My one complaint has been that it feels like I may as well be sitting outside. There seems to be either very little temperature regulation inside or else someone unaffiliated with the shop is in control of their heat because I have to bundle up to drink my coffee. But given how much I’m sure operating costs are, I’m not going to dock them any stars for that.
I love it here!!! Truly one of coziest, sweetest places in the entirety of New York City. The baristas are all GEMS and they make gem-style good drinks. Amazing that they make space for morning and night people - great evening events that feel open to everyone. I hope this place never changes and never gets eaten by the pretentious minimalist design monster that attacks our community spots.
the hot chocolate I had here today was exactly what I was looking for - I believe it was made with cocoa powder + frothed milk (I asked for almond milk), and minimal sugar (and they have simple syrup you can add). I don't have much of a sweet tooth so this was perfect for me. also the vibes here are great!! lots of tables and good music. I'll be back to do some work on my laptop in the future.
This is a beautiful, quiet coffee shop in a great area. The staff are super friendly, and the vibe is chill - if you like to work from coffee shops like I do, you'll probably find this place to be your new favorite. The drink selection is awesome. They have very creative specials available. The only problem you may run into is parking - there isn't that much available in the area, mostly just some meters.
Go Brooklyn! On my visit to NYC, I had a show in Brooklyn and stopped in for a quick bite at The Daily Press. The atmosphere was cool, small tables and counter service, board games and books lined the shelves. It felt like a the local hangout. The food was great. I had a chicken sandwich that was huge, would rather have had fries instead chips but the sandwich alone was enough.
Baristas are friendly, coffee is good and the food is cooked fresh to order! The person making our food even offered to cut out sandos in half and do half half in our baskets. The portabello sandwich was especially tasty. The playlists are bomb and they display train times on their ticker board for the nearby C train.
Didn’t know what to expect when walking into The Daily Press. I am somewhat familiar with Brooklyn but never this part. Ocean Hill who knew ! I was here for a paint event and was glad I went ! The aesthetic and ambiance were awesome , cool artwork books a coffee bar a regular bar and great places to sit. There was a campaign event going on for a city council seat and so much was going on. It was a microcosm of our city. Black, White, Latino , gay straight you name it our people existing and chilling as one. I am a lifelong NY’er and this place is it . I will be back . I hope to go to another event soon. Met so many cool people in one night , a sign of a special place. Drink prices affordable as well.
This place has such a nice vibe and great coffee. My favorite neighborhood café. I come here to get some work done and just relax. They have WiFi, books, and smooth jazz playing. Their pastries are surprisingly good. They make them fresh every morning. The Almond Croissant is my fave. The coffee is also good. It's a bit pricey but worth it. Overall, my experience here has been pleasant.
Had a great time here today with a friend. A great work environment with plenty of outlets, natural light (even on a rainy day like today), and a great playlist going. Music wasn’t too loud to be distracting. Attached is the cool system they have that displays what the artist and song that is playing (the super cool system is $3.2k avail on MoMa website just fyi). Staff were very helpful and friendly! We got tea + hot chocolate. We also got tacos which were super affordable and yummy. We felt safe as 2 bipoc queer individuals. The gender neutral bathroom was bigger than most nyc bathrooms, and it was clean. I look forward to going back! Also big bonus is that there are some books and many games!!!! I saw cards against humanity, exploding kittens, banana grams, chess, and several more!
Friendliest staff at any café I’ve been to (except Beets Café across the street, lol, they’re on the same level of friendly). Anything you order here is great quality, their coffee and teas are the real deal and the food is great! I enjoy the atmosphere, music and the fact I can sit down and get stuff done if I need to. Everything is reasonably priced.
Very good coffee, espresso and cold brew. Great pastries, nice beer selection for happy hour and a chill vibe overall. One of the first coffee shops in the neighborhood - the space is quintessential Brooklyn charm with reclaimed wood and mismatched chairs - crafted and selected by the owner. Try the Kitten Club coffee - local and incredible! There’s also a lovely outdoor space.
This was my first time coming to this place (though I lived in this block at their opening) and the humans who work there are so kind, the options for refills feel eco friendly in all the ways! I recommend! Bring your own wifi though!
It is a good place to study, they have good wifi, coffee refills( save your cup), enough seating, and outlets to charge your devices. I think they should turn the music down a bit to create a good atmosphere for working or studying.
This Place is great, the coffee is Good!! The pastries are fresh and delish so nice for quick breakfast. Ample seating and lots of other fun activities like Karaoke and Poetry nights and so on but I do not recommend the breakfast burrito....it was a waste of money. I stopped because it's on my street and I was rushing to the airport and running a little late but it was so gross...I just threw it out, and not eating until I got to Texas!
I love the atmosphere and the fact they have weekly/monthly events like Open Mic and Comedy Night. The coffee is alright and the only food item I've ever purchased was the original breakfast burrito which is decent if you want something quick. They don't have many good options. I usually stop in to get writing done and sometimes I just bring my own snack. The baristas are nice and helpful and the place is usually tidy, thought the bathroom can get a little rough. Overall, I love this spot because they stay open until midnight and they have a bar(though I've never purchase a drink.) I appreciate it.
Came for Alchemix Game Night, which was a free event where you are paired up with a group of random people (for us 4 other people signed up) and play a game intended to spark deep convos. It was actually more fun than I was expecting and the host (who owns the bar, Josh) was great at facilitating. The drinks were fine (price was fine, selection was fine, nothing too spectacular). The space itself is also fine. I'm not sure I would necessarily come here just to pop in for a drink but the vibe is cool. There were a lot of people studying when we got there late/early Saturday night, so could consider coming here for that purpose. But as much as I was skeptical of the game night, would recommend at least trying it out with a few friends.
I enjoy walking to daily press, a good neighborhood coffee shop. My orders are generally above average. I’ve had the Cortado, iced coffees, iced matchas. I’d recommend them all. The space is casual, welcoming, comfy. I never stay but they appear to have games and events.
It’s a nice place to meet someone and have lunch and convo. The atmosphere is not too lively as it’s a coffee shop, but you are able to converse in peace. The food options are prettt solid. I didn’t go to eat, so i only got the iced caramel coffee and it was made well. My date got pancakes and a chia drink, the pancakes were well made. All in all, a solid experience.
The music is too loud here. Please consider lowering the volume at certain times! Other than this qualm, DP is an important community gathering place. I do enjoy coming here to work late, use the printer, and meet new people, when the music isn't blasting! It’s a very diverse crowd, which is special. It would be nice to have a few ambient hours for people who come to chat (and actually hear one another) and those who are solo working. Love you Daily Press!
Staff is nice and music is always on point but I'd say that the coffee is only so so, same for the pastries. But worth going for the vibe.
Good food and coffee. Inside very spacious and seen very relaxing place to sit down for breakfast. They also have tables outside and seem like o good place to enjoy a beer at night.
The Daily Press Layout/atmosphere *Part coffee shop (tables, board games, books), part bar (stage) Food/drink *Cheese Danish - solid *Coffee Cake Muffin - solid
food was awesome, tried the breakfast walking taco. vibes were very homey and cute. iced london fog was v tasty.
This place is pretty nice and looks fantastic! My only gripe is the staff takes way too many vape and weed breaks!
I really liked this place! But major unexpected downside - there are so many flies inside. I'm talking like 7 or 8 flying around at all times. Really ruined the experience, which was otherwise good (great playlist, coffee, and vibes). Would also love if they had mugs - for a $7 cortado, it would be nice if it came in a non-disposable container to reduce waste. Yall can do better <3
I found this place after doing a google search for “best coffee in brooklyn”. i was disappointed due to the number of positive reviews for a very mediocre experience and this location was voted number 1. I have been to the Daily Press twice and both times it was okay. First time I ordered an iced vanilla latte. It was VERY sweet and overpowered the coffee. It was a Saturday and I didn’t order any pastries because they looked crusty. The barista was really nice and positive. Second time was this morning and my husband and I got hot lattes, banana bread, and a burrito. The pastry selections were only breads due to the delivery being late, The banana bread was really cold in the center and it was obvious that it had been frozen. The burrito was good but not great. Honestly think it had been premade or frozen as well. The latte had no taste. I was actually unsure if the espresso had even been poured into it but based on the color it had to of been. The barista didn’t seem like she wanted to be there, but to be fair - it was 7:30am on a Thursday (who honestly wants to be at work at that time??). I love a good neighborhood coffee shop with a great atmosphere and this definitely has that. However, the quality of the coffee and food options is decent.
So, there's something that I would just like to suggest here at this establishment. I'll start by saying this though because I don't want to just make the suggestion as if I know what's going on financially. My suggestion would be to start looking for line cooks for the night shift and bring the menu down to at least 4 items. Two to three could be items already on the menu such as the burger and the BLT, then make new menu item which would wings. I'm suggesting this because there are times at night where the place gets a bit packed such as Trivia Night. Jazz Night, and Open Mic Night. With the addition of wings, you could promote it and link it to one of the main events. For example, when promoting one of your events on your Instagram, plug in the new menu item. Of course word of mouth through your FOH staff as people come in will help as well because that's when word will spread and now you have more clientele. All that needs to be done on your end is to reach out to other chefs/line cooks with not only the experience, but the right passion and dedication to work with the team run ideas through with FOH and BOH. As I said, it's just a suggestion. It would help a lot
The coffee and drinks here are great and I love the events they put on for the neighborhood, however this place is not accessible at all. There are multiple big steps to get into the shop and no ramp. Getting my stroller up the steps is very difficult. I’ve spilled my drink multiple times trying to leave while also carrying my stroller out door. The staff never offers to help with the door or help me down the steps—even when I’m the only person ordering. This deters me from visiting more frequently. I guess if you’re in a wheelchair you just can’t enter at all? It sucks that the best coffee place in the neighborhood isn’t more inclusive.
I have been going to daily press on and off for about 5 years now and never had a bad experience, I have also recommended this place to many of my friends. Unfortunately for the past 6 months or so I have been having nothing but bad experience with the shop. The google listing states that they are open at 7:30am while their website says 7 am (the sign on the door also states 7:30am) , which I was very happy about since I start work at 8am, and I am able to pick up a quick cup of coffee before work, but every single time I would come after 7:30 am, the lights were on, the staff were inside but the door was locked. First couple of times I dismissed it to human error, I mean who doesn't tend to run late some days, but it has happened every single time I would try coming in there. In addition, the staff members would see me though the door and just ignore me all together, which would have been ok if I came before they opened, but I would arrive way past 7:30 am. I was finally able to grab a coffee (around 8:30am) the other day, and not only the coffee was subpar, 2 people who came after me got their orders first, the barista forgot to give me my pastry, which I had to remind her about it, and the service overall was very bad. I also overheard them making fun of another customer, which is extremely unprofessional to do in an ear shot of other customers. I am not sure what has been going on with the Daily Press lately, but I do recommend them to update their website, and update the hours that reflect when they actually open, and not have staff members openly make fun of customers where other customers can hear them.
Just had the absolute worst service at Daily Press. I’ve been coming here for months to buy my beans, and it’s always a quick experience. It’s been so quick and convenient that I pop by while walking my dog, because it takes so little time I feel safe tying her up while I pop in to pay. Until today, 12/20 at 4:30 pm. It’s a colder day (42 degrees), but I can see there’s no line inside so I figure it’s fine leaving my dog on the sidewalk for what historically takes about 45 seconds. I walk inside, grab the beans, and stand by the register. There are two employees behind the bar, and man and a woman. They are at the far end of the bar, nowhere near the register, gossiping with each other. I nod at the woman and she makes eyes with me. She then proceeds to turn her back on her and start to make a cocktail, while continuing to gossip with her male coworker. Eventually she finishes making the cocktail, so I assume she will finally let me pay. Instead, she throws the drink out and starts making it again. Finally, after 5 minutes, the man deigns to acknowledge me and slumps over to the cash register asking me in an annoyed voice what I want. I point to the beans that I’ve been trying to pay for for the last 5 minutes, and he charges me. Unlike every single other time I have bought beans here, I was not offered a free drip coffee with my purchase. I’m not sure if they chose to completely ignore me because I’m queer or for another reason, but the entire experience was completely unacceptable. My poor dog was shivering by the time I was able to get back to her. Time to find a new regular spot.
It was my first time getting coffee there and the staff wasn’t very welcoming or helpful with tips. I would have liked a little more instruction on sweeteners and milk but instead I was just had my coffee without even a “enjoy” or “the sugar and milk is over there”. The flavor was fine and the price fair but there was also grounds in my coffee but that comes with the experience.
I’m rating only to go experience. Unfortunately the latte taste like latte without espresso. Got 2 different lattes for me and my wife and both of them taste like no espresso.
Nice place for breakfast! We had coffee and a scone this Saturday. The vibe is nice, the food is nice, but the staff at the register had a very bad attitude toward us… Maybe it was because we’re tourists? Don’t know, but we didn’t go back.
The food and coffee were fine, but when you’re one of a million coffee shops you should at least have decent service. The man with the mustache seemed pretty upset about the fact that he had to work at work and begrudgingly interacted with me. Won’t be spending my money here.
Went here because it was the only place around that was open. Waited forever and the staff is super unfriendly. I get not being in the best mood in the morning, but come on. Felt like I stepped onto the set of Tales from the Crypt, dusty and dead. At least the Crypt-Keeper would know how to keep the energy alive, unlike the staff here. 0 out of 5 stars.
We’ve lived in the neighborhood for over five years and have periodically given The Daily Press another chance, only to be disappointed. The staff is consistently rude. My partner just walked over (7:30am) and they aren’t open. An employee sweeping outside completely ignored him.
I live near by and the atmosphere is super cute which makes it seem like a cute hangout spot. However, every time I go in here the staff at the register is super rude to me. Today was my third time going in as I was trying to stay open minded because I know everyone has bad days. But once again the staff at the register had a bad attitude with me but was kind to my male roommate. Staff should be trained in customer service and should be treating people equally. The coffee is mediocre.
I usually have a pretty good experience when I come here but on this particular day, I decided to call before going in because I wanted to know if they had soup on their menu. I looked online, but their website isn’t updated so I was told. Anyway, whoever answered the phone and treated me like I was stupid for asking about their menu should really get a course in how to talk to people over the phone. I asked if they had soup on their menu. And he said "uhhhh soooooop??? Like tomato????!!!" I didn’t understand his demeanor so I answered to him "any type of soup" to which the man sucked his teeth and sighed very loudly. that was really unnecessary and really deterred me from even wanting to get anything today. I asked him if the website isn’t updated and I wanted to know about the menu how else I would know other than to call. Because he was clearly very annoyed that I called. His response was " You don’t need to call. You can just come to the store." His rudeness was uncalled for. If you don’t want people to call you about your menu maybe you should update your website. I’ve never been spoken like that for simply calling and asking a question about your availability of a product.
I have come here 3 times and ordered food. Once was ahead of time over the phone and the other times were in person. EACH TIME MY FOOD WAS NOT MADE AND THE CHEF WAS OUTSIDE LITERALLY SMOKING OR CHILLING. 20 minutes went by (each time) and I had to ask for the update on my food to be told by Katelyn and Mo that the Chef actually didnt know about the food order. Nothing was offered to rectify this either. Very irritating when your time is limited. Also waited long and food was subpar. I was served a jerk chicken sandwich on hamburger sesame bread?
I recently visited this coffee shop and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from start to finish. Service: The customer service was unacceptable. The server who took my order was unprofessional, dismissive, and even sat down while taking my order, which felt disrespectful. I was not asked about basic preferences, like whether I wanted my coffee hot or iced. Drinks: The barista appeared distracted while making our drinks, paying more attention to other things than the preparation itself. Unsurprisingly, the final product was subpar. The milk tasted either expired or extremely cheap, which completely ruined the drinks. Food: The food was uninspiring and lacked quality. For the price, I expected something elevated, but instead it felt like something anyone could throw together at home. Atmosphere: While the setting itself had potential, the lack of good service overshadowed everything else. The vibe could have worked, but without proper hospitality, it came across as uninviting. Final Thoughts: Overall, this café fell far below expectations. The poor service, careless preparation, and mediocre food made the experience one I wouldn’t recommend. There are plenty of other coffee shops in the area that take pride in their service and products — this is not one of them.
First time in the coffee shop. Horrible staff service, unfriendly, and rude. You can sit at the counter, and no one acknowledges your presence. I was able to order after 20 minutes sitting there. They don’t bring napkins over with the food and yell at you to stand up and look for them when you ask. Food was good and reasonably priced. Unlikely to come back after feeling like a burden by ordering in this place.
I didn't want to do this because I hate giving bad reviews, but I went to this place on a Sunday morning, it was quite a slow morning at the cafe, and the Barista forgot my friend's breakfast burrito. We waited at our table for 15 minutes while they chatted, and we assumed it was taking long because somebody was in the back cooking it. But when I came to the counter and asked where it was, the barista brushed it off and said "just a couple more minutes" and I saw her take it out of the fridge and throw it in the microwave. She didn't even acknowledge that she had forgotten it, nor did she apologize for making us wait. I went back to the table, and then she proceeded to forget about it even after the microwave was done. And once again I had to get up and remind her that we were still waiting, and still she was very dismissive and gave no apology. I'm not an entitled Karen, and I didn't want to say anything nor complain but a little bit of acknowledgement would've been nice. My friend & I left this place with a bad taste in our months about it.
