Opiniones de Ignazio's Brooklyn
I landed in NYC on a cold day in January stopped by Dumbo and had some delicious Sicilian pizza looking out at NYC. The best all around
Vegetarian review: The family originally tried to get into Juliana's but the line was too long - this would also have been my first time since the original owner restarted his creations. Boy were we all glad how that afternoon turned out. The pizza here - is GREAT! The Mexican pizza with jalapeños was lip-smacking delicious! Everyone at the table absolutely loved it. We might not travel to Brooklyn to eat here because the lines do get crazy on the weekends but it will be in our back-pockets whenever we go to under the Brooklyn Bridge.
We ordered the Pizza, White, and Stuffed Mushrooms; and really enjoyed our meal. The location of the restaurant is perfect, and the service is top-notch. Grazie!
I would HIGHLY recommend Ignazio's!! YOU CAN GET SLICES HERE!!! We love "THE PIZZA"!!! We added the Cherry Tomatoes,,, DELICIOUS!! The service is friendly, LOVE the atmosphere, the view of the Bridge, and the seating arrangement is very comfortable! Unlike nearby Juliana's, where you're literally ON TOP OF STRANGERS😖 Or cramped in, like Grimaldi's(which we also love, if they could keep away from the "GRADE PENDING" SANITARY code😐). Keep in mind,, CASH ONLY!! Also, it is wheelchair accessible and there are 2 Unisex Restrooms. I know one is pretty spacious and has a changing table(haven't used the other, but i'm sure it's the same).
Great spot! We came in with a group of 15 right when they opened, and Asim (the manager) was really helpful to get us seated, get us fed, and make us feel welcome.
My friend was visiting and wanted to see the Dumbo Manhattan Bridge view. We decided to get a slice in the area and a friend recommended Ignazio's. I'm glad he did and that we decided to go. The regular cheese slice was amazing. I would go back for an entire pie and would definitely recommend anyone in the area try their pizza. In addition to the great food, the service was amazing as well!
Pizza Crawl 2024 Stop #12 For our 10-year anniversary we are stopping in Chicago, Detroit, NYC, and New Haven, CT This place is right underneath the bridge with great views, which makes it really fun on top of having excellent pizza! The sauce was really good. We preferred the plain cheese over the pepperoni, but both were excellent. It is cash only, but they have an ATM machine by the bathroom. We didn’t have enough cash and I don’t carry around a debit card, but when we got up to leave, they said they could process a card transaction for a 4% fee. I’m glad they let us do that as the pizza was really good!
Im from the uk and wanted to try NYC style pizza and i got it at this place. Crusty and crunchy pizza was amazing and a great view of Brooklyn Bridge . Girl served up was so friendly and nice but second girl who served us also was little less friendly but maybe she just was having a bad day who knows. But honestly this is great place go eat. Pizza is expensive but when on holiday you tend pay more id say. Id give the pizza a 9.2 for taste.
We had a fantastic experience at Ignazio’s Pizza! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming. Our server, Sim, was outstanding — super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We ordered pizza and wings, and both were absolutely delicious. The pizza had that perfect crust with fresh, rich toppings, and the wings were crispy, full of flavour, and cooked just right. To top it all off, we had the privilege of meeting the owner, who was genuinely kind and friendly — even took the time to take pictures with us. That kind of hospitality is rare and made the experience even more memorable. Between the amazing food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service, this was a highlight of our NYC trip. Highly recommend — and definitely ask for Sim if you can!
Great location to have pizza - just under the Brooklyn Bridge overlooking the East River. We had the Sicilian and it was very tasty. A bit pricey. Cash only.
We had a wonderful experience at Ignazio’s! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was very welcoming. A special thank you to our server, Anastasia, who was incredibly attentive and kind throughout the meal. She made sure we had everything we needed and added a personal touch that made the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place, I’ll definitely be coming back!
Been back several times. Delicious. Truly Brooklyn style pizza. Ceasar salad is great too! Get there early, lines will happen. Bring cash, but the do have an ATM onsite. The wait staff is the best and give lots of great tips about ordering the correct amount of food and making sure the entire table is happy.
Visiting from OKC — Everything was absolutely great — all the food was delicious (especially the sauce) — hospitality was top notch — man I talked to said his father started the place and still reads all the reviews — so I just wanted to let him know that his son is doing a good job and he was a big reason our experience was so memorable — can’t wait to come back next time we visit
One of the best pizzerias down by the dumbo area; Highly recommend the White cheese pizza it was absolutely delicious and plus great service to compliment’s the experience and made it feel enjoyable to have authentic pizza. Go check it out!!!
I've been here so many times, including to celebrate the night my fiancé and I got engaged during Covid. It's just so good every time. Rich, flavorful sauce, good quality cheese, and crunchy crust. had the BLT wrap for the first time yesterday and it was also perfect. I just love it there.
This unassuming and almost hidden pizza restaurant is in my eyes likely the best pizza in all of Brooklyn. Like other pizza places, Ignazio's makes pies and slices fresh to order. The differentiation comes in the perfectly seasoned red sauce, just the right amount of cheese, and the crisp but not burnt bottom and crust. The menu is extensive, and they offer Sicilian specialties, imported Italian artisan beer, and a nice selection of desserts. If you are in Dumbo and craving a great slice or more, you won't go wrong with Ignazio's.
After trying other famous pizza recommendations in Brooklyn, this was the best in my opinion. Perfect sauce and slightly crispy crust. Yum! They have a pizza by the slice take-out window as well.
I came with 8 friends of mine and it was my first time (I usually go to Grimaldi). My friend suggested Ignazio’s. Definitely glad I came. It was my nieces 3rd birthday. The owners son in law, Sim, was extremely accommodating and brought dessert for my little niece and the staff sang. Run, don’t walk to Ignazio’s!!!
The BEST Pizza I ever ate. While visiting NY we went to the DUMBO area. We stopped at Ignacio’s to have a quick lunch. Sim was our server and he was very friendly. The pizza was so good that a couple days later we made the long trek back to Brooklyn from Manhattan , walking the Brooklyn Bridge just to eat there again. We were not disappointed. It was just as delicious. Try the frozen Sangria. Very refreshing. Great experience ❤️❤️
The only place in the Brooklyn Bridge Park area to serve pizza by the slice and they are sure crispy and yummy !!! The others need to understand that tourist coming to visit this spot would not want to stuff themselves and thus prefer the slice.. they may write that slices are TO-GO but they served for dine-in too Draught beer was great.. I had the Brooklyn Lager and the cheese pizza slice. Perfect ! The restaurant is perfectly located and most of the tables have the Brooklyn bridge view.. AMAZING VIBES.. I strongly suggest picking this place over any other if u want the perfect Brooklyn bridge feel
Great service. The pizza is much better than the New York side of the river the staff are very friendly. the beer in particular the Brooklyn Lager is very good the pizzas are hot and tasty the interesting thing they do is there's four Pizza bases and then you add your toppings to them guarantee you you will enjoy it very vibrant very good group of people highly recommend easy five stars
Sim was fantastic! Him and our server were great. Sim acknowledged us waiting outside, talked to us and found out we were here for my birthday and my 3 year old nieces. He mad sure to take care of all of us. Hands down best pizza/wing place in Dumbo! The only family owned place in pizza corner! Forget about Grimaldis!
We went on a weekday with a large party and we were quickly seated. Our waitress was friendly and attentive the entire time. We ordered 3 pies, a regular, a white pie and a Sicilian pie. Each pie was so delicious in its own way!!! I will be back and I will order the exact same thing !!!! Keep in mind it’s cash only and it did take a while to get our order but we were seated so quickly, we didn’t mind waiting.
As a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur and a passionate foodie, it is my duty to bring attention to truly remarkable dining experiences. I recently visited an unassuming yet extraordinary pizza place located just a stone's throw away from the Brooklyn Bridge. Tucked away from the typical tourist path, this hidden gem is one that you absolutely cannot miss. Let me begin by stating that this is hands down the best pizza place in the area. I have sampled pizzas from various establishments in my ongoing quest for the perfect slice, and only three pizza places make it onto my highly recommended list, a list that is constantly praised by fellow food enthusiasts. This pizzeria is, without a doubt, deserving of a spot on that list. Upon entering this establishment, I was immediately greeted by the warm, inviting atmosphere. Rustic wooden tables and chairs are dispersed throughout the cozy dining area, while the aroma of freshly baked pizza wafts through the air. The walls are adorned with an eclectic mix of art, further adding to the charm of this delightful eatery. Now, let's talk pizza. The crust is a work of art in and of itself, boasting a perfect balance of crispiness and chewiness. The rich, tangy tomato sauce provides a solid foundation for a symphony of flavors, with a generous helping of gooey, melted mozzarella cheese that stretches with each glorious bite. The toppings are fresh and flavorful, sourced locally to ensure the highest quality. It is evident that the chefs take great pride in their craft, creating each pizza with the utmost care and attention to detail. In addition to the phenomenal pizza, the service at this pizzeria is truly outstanding. I must give credit where credit is due, and that is to Anastasia, our exceptional waitress. From the moment we were seated, she was attentive, knowledgeable, and radiated a genuine passion for both the food and her customers' satisfaction. Anastasia's recommendations were spot-on and helped elevate our dining experience. Her attention to detail and her sincere desire to ensure we had an enjoyable meal made us feel like valued guests in her home. It is rare to encounter such a dedicated and caring individual in the service industry, and Anastasia's presence only further solidifies this pizzeria as a must-visit destination. In conclusion, if you find yourself in the vicinity of the Brooklyn Bridge, do yourself a favor and seek out this hidden treasure. The unforgettable pizza and the unparalleled service provided by Anastasia will leave you yearning for more. Trust me when I say, as a devoted foodie, that this pizza place is a culinary experience you won't want to miss.
Came here for the Pizza, stayed for the exceptional service, and great vibe and great views of Brooklyn Bridge. Anastasia was wonderful, kind, and hospitable, while the GLUTEN FREE pizza was more delicious than any other pizza, regular and gluten free I’ve ever tasted. Can’t wait to come back for another round asap.
It's great to be able to go out and eat outside again with no worries! If you have not been here before, then come on down..this is one of my favorite pizza spots and it has a view off Manhattan. If you are hungry and want great quality pizza then this is the place for you. The staff is always attentive, the food is always great. In the past it was only cash, but now you can pay by credit (min is 10 and you will spend more than that). They sell by the slice, but you will want the pie! All the pizza spots here are great and have lines to wait (we were a party of 8, sometimes more, so expect to wait as you will see a party of 2 people get in faster than you). They do have outside tables now. If you are ready for Great pizza (with other things to order as well but pizza is a must), great service and a great view, you need to try this place out if you haven't already.
We stumbled upon Ignazio’s Pizzeria on a delightful first date, and it turned out to be the perfect spot! The casual mom-and-pop vibe instantly felt welcoming, and despite making a wrong reservation, the wait for a table outside—about 25 minutes—flew by, thanks to my date's sense of humor. Once we were seated, the decor was nothing fancy, but it gave off a vibe that promised great food, and let me tell you, it delivered! We ordered a small pie topped with bacon, tomatoes, and avocado, with a half pie that should have had mushrooms. Although our pizza took a while to arrive, we appreciated that it’s made fresh—definitely worth the wait. When our pizza finally came, the gentleman who served it acknowledged the mix-up with our order and graciously brought out the correct one without making us feel rushed at all. It was this attention to detail that added a special touch to our experience. The casual outdoor seating also provided a nice view of the water and the vibrant foot traffic around us on a Saturday night made for a lively atmosphere. In the end, this pizzeria was a wonderful accidental find, and I can't wait to go back—hopefully with the same charming company! 🍕❤️✨
This is top level NY pizza. A truly delicious pizza. I can't speak for the Sicilian style they serve. Personally, I don't know why anyone would opt for that with such an amazing and properly done NY style there. That must be where the lesser reviews come from, and I guess it's those people's fault for getting the wrong thing. This is 5 star pizza in every way. You're making a mistake of you skip getting NY pizza here. Plus, what a great location.
Fantastico grazie mille bello Sim and Bill A great little find after tired legs we walked towards the river and walked into shake shack, worst idea we then walked out and turned the corner and what a fantastic idea that was, a group of 10 sat on 2 tables of 5 and were looked after so so well! Great beer beautiful food and the best hospitality! Absolutely amazing…. A highlight of the trip highly recommend this is you are in NYC well worth the travel! 🍻
Staff is amazing and very accommodating. FYI there is a CC processing fee, so take cash. It's normal for NY, so it didn't bother us but want people to know. Staff made us aware of it before they ran the card which was nice. Food was very good and I really did like the atmosphere. Definitely best place to eat after walking over the Brooklyn Bridge and before hopping on the ferry to head back to Manhattan.
Me and my wife come here every time we visit NYC and every time it's amazing! The hostess is always friendly even when we walk in just for slices..This time we sat at the bar section and the guy behind the bar who got us our pizza was great to us. Absolutely top of my list for favorite pizza.
Amazing customer service from the start. Food portion was great. And you'd appreciate the place's location and atmosphere especially if your planning to walk to Brooklyn Bridge afterwards.
This was a great surprise walking by the Brooklyn bridge. Omg I didn’t expect anything and everything was over amazing!! This pizza tasty like a real Italian pizza I work in a food industry and I can tell the cheese used is a really good quality, not a lot of grease. Guys, keep this excellent Job! Btw I think we got the owner to help us, and she was amazing explain everything. 🫶🏻
My family and I typically love Ignazio’s for their grandma slices; they’re super light and fluffy and the sauce is just the right level of sweet and fresh (this coming from people that don’t typically like thick pizza). Perfection. It’s our neighborhood go-to spot! But tonight our delivery service was outstanding - we ordered a large margherita cheese pie to celebrate my sister’s engagement with “Yes” written in pepperoni. Ignazio’s delivered it as requested but after noticing that the words didn’t come out clearly on a red pie, they sent a complimentary second pie with our order with “Yes” written out clearly in pepperoni on a white pie with a kind note. We were SO touched by their thoughtfulness on this freezing cold Super Bowl Sunday that was so special to our family. Truly above & beyond customer service 🥹Thank you so much Ignazios team!
Ignazio's Pizza is amazing. Visited NYC in 2015 and loved it. Just spent Christmas in NYC & couldn’t wait to get back to Ignazio's. The base of their pizzas is perfect & the tomato sauce is incredible. Great staff & location.
Amazing energy from the moment you walk in. The pizza is fresh and flavorful, and the staff provides outstanding service. Definitely a place worth coming back to.
Location Location Location. Pizza is typical New York style. Garlic bread is required. Wings allright. Our party of 7 went smooth on a Monday night. Just Go !
I came for a slice at opening time on Sunday. I was Initially sent away saying they needed another 25 mins. I’m glad I came back as the pepperoni slice I ordered was the tastiest pizza I’ve ever eaten, great tang to the sauce, really fresh and perfectly baked. I’d love to come back with a group in the future.
Ignazio’s Pizza is one of those rare New York spots that feels timeless and genuinely welcoming. The pizza is outstanding—thin, crisp crust with a perfectly balanced tomato sauce and rich, fresh mozzarella that tastes homemade. Every slice feels honest and traditional, without trying too hard. The interior is warm and charming, with old-school Italian character, cozy tables, and a relaxed neighborhood vibe. Staff are friendly, efficient, and clearly proud of what they serve. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick slice or sitting down for a relaxed meal, this place delivers comfort, quality, and authentic Brooklyn flavor every time.
TLDR - Amazing food, great service and an unbelievable location. I hosted a group of 25 people for a luncheon after my son’s Baptism. Asim, the manger, was so very helpful setting up the menu with great recommendations. Great communication. Tiffany and our server were great too! Overall, everyone loved the food. The calzone was *chefs kiss* .. the pizza, meatballs and sauce - all of it - Delicious. This was our second time there and we will 100% be back. You can’t beat the location. If you have a special occasion, this is the place to have it.
Ignazio’s is fantastic! The pizza is absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. What really stood out, though, was how nice and welcoming all the staff were. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🍕
Ahhh-mazing!!! We’ve been waiting our whole trip for authentic New York pizza and this place exceeded our expectations. We walked in and immediately felt the electric atmosphere with fun music and extremely friendly service and to top off the atmosphere our pizza and calzone were unforgettable!! We devoured our food and were genuinely sad when it was over. You won’t be disappointed!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hands down one of the most underrated pizza spots in New York City! Ignazio's is an absolute gem. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the pizza—wow. The sauce has that perfect tangy kick, the dough is beautifully balanced, and the cheese ties everything together into pure comfort. Honestly, I think it’s better than Joe’s Pizza. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. If you’re a true pizza lover, this place is a must-visit.
Amazing experience! The guy that was advertising outside got us in right before closing. All good we ordered as soon as we got in! However, we got the wrong size of pizza. Our waitress Alexa ensure that matter was corrected and everything went well otherwise! My friend said was the best pizza he ever ate! And I do hope to return in the near future! ✨✨✨
We're from Pittsburgh and stopped here because my husband loves and had to have pizza in New York. I'm not a pizza lover at all but let me say their pizza impressed me, absolutely delicious. We got "The Pizza" with pepperoni and bacon. I can honestly say it was the best pizza I've ever had. The crust was crispy yet soft, the sauce to cheese ratio was perfect and you can actually taste the oregano and olive oil. We also had a ceaser salad, it was good as well, not the best I've had. Our drinks were frozen because it was so hot. Absolutely delicious. If we're in the neighborhood again we'll be back.
Everything about this place was top notch. The view of the bridge is unbeatable, especially at sunset. Pizza, meatballs, and sangria were all heavenly. Don't wait in line at one the other "famous" pizza places. This place is way better and no wait. Cash only but there is an atm. Would go everyday if i lived in Dumbo. Also great ice cream place next door if you want dessert.
Our recent visit to Ignazio's Pizza was a true pleasure, not just for the fantastic pizza, but also for the incredibly attentive service we received. We popped in for a quick bite, ordering a slice each of pepperoni, cheese, and Siciliana, and they were the perfect New York slices! The server went above and beyond to accommodate us outside with our dog. Even though we were only getting slices, they were so appreciative of our business and thoughtfully set us up with a nice table outside. We'd certainly recommend Ignazio's for pizza when you're in Brooklyn!
A random walk, and we stopped here. The vibe was great, the staff was super friendly, and the music was the perfect touch. The pizza was delicious, and the frozen drinks were OMGGGG AMAZING!! Our waitress, Anastasia K, was amazing and super sweet. We're looking forward to coming back 💖
My family was recommended to come here rather than the bigger one around the corner many years ago. I came back to NYC years later and remembered to come here because it was so good then. It was just as good the second time around! Great food, best pizza, and awesome views. Such a cute pizza place. You can only order medium and large pizzas while dining in so bring friends or an appetite.

Probably the biggest pizza I have ever seen. Tasted amazing, friendly staff and incredible views of the Brooklyn Bridge whilst you eat.
Delicious and generous pizza Tomato sauce very tasty Service extra Nice Pay cash only but an ATM inside the restaurant makes it convenient
Randomly went in this place just next to Brooklyn bridge. The pizza was excellent, crispy, with lovely tomato sauce and italian sausage. I went twice in 3 days :) Staff were very friendly
The experience at Ignacio’s truly starts with the music. Club bangers ring out from every corner. Ignazio was not present as far as I know and someone was allowed to eat a pizza slice with a fork and a knife but otherwise ambience was top notch. Food was great - very yummy too. It was my freind Jed’s birthday and he has grown up so much this year. I’m jealous of him and his physique but I harbor this envy in secret. Ignazio told me I should never allow what I don’t have to dominate what is in front of me. Good pizza.
We had to stop by Ignazios pizza in Brooklyn when visiting. It was a tourist area and there were many nice little boutique shops. They had a lineup outside the door so it was difficult to find a spot to sit down and eat. We decided to have a slice and eat it outside even though it was a bit chilly outside. Pizza was good, I had high expectations so 4/5 for me.
As everyone is waiting in line for the other place around the corner, try this spot. Fantastic pizza that comes in medium (good for 2 average people) or larger (3 average people). Had the wings as an app, but they weren’t too good-very dry/lacking Buffalo sauce. But one comes here for the pizza which is top notch.
My long time partner always burns his mouth when eating pizza but this time he didn't seem to mind. We shared "The Pizza" and enjoyed covering the slices in a thick layer of grated parmesan and red pepper flakes. The staff was delightful and the experience was seamless. Cash only payment made for a quick check out.
My wife and I had been meaning to stop by this place many times but something would always come up. Glad that we finally made it in. The service was fantastic. Great to see that the servers weren't stressed and still friendly, considering the place was pretty busy. We've been to many pizzerias here in NYC and this is instantly my wife's favorite pizza. I myself am more of a "mom n pop" pizza type but this was certainly some great gourmet pizza. The garlic bread was EXCEPTIONAL, as was the meatball hero. Gonna make sure to stop by here more often when we're in the neighborhood.
The Pizza (name of the dish) was super good! Not too oily and the sauce was very fresh! We got a second pizza that was a lot heavier with thick dough and square slices. I don't know if they were in a rush, but the pepps were a bit burnt and the dough a bit undercooked. All still edible, but not as good as the thin slices. Still was plenty of food for all of us. I took the two extra slices home and enjoyed later in the day.
Overall the food here was good. We tried pizza, a salad and two appetizers. Sadly the appetizers arrived after the pizza so we didn't get to enjoy them as much as we would have liked. The pizza was delicious. The service was slow but the people working were very friendly. Of note this is a cash only business.
The food was awesome. The service was pushy. There were three of us one went to the restroom upon arrival. So while we waited for our friend to return we did order an appetizer. Before he could come back two additional servers came to ask if we were gong to order. It was very rude as if we didn't even put in for the appetizer. I was not at all happy with the attitude at all! The food was good but the service ruined it. Just left a bad taste in our mouths. Definitely not returning.
CASH only. I didn't read reviews before going. Luckily I had cash. There is an atm inside. Good Sicilian. Great crust. Artichokes with ricotta was interesting and rich. Cherry bomb was delicious -- could have used a vodka floater :). Great service. Exceptional ambiance (we were seated outside).
We had the pizza, and bbq wings. The pizza had a thin crust whixh we liked. The tomato sauce was hot tomato citrusy just a bit and balanced well with the pepperoni i think. The bathroom was great, had a changing table and very spacious. The wings were pretty juicy and cash only establishment with an atm by the bathroom and friendly service.
Food was excellent! Caesar and a Medium pie and 3 of us were stuffed. That being said... **THEY ONLY TAKE CASH** This needs to be clearly labeled at the door and possibly on the menu as well. The server that came for the check is clearly used to it, responding automatically with "there's a cash machine right there.", but that is of little help to three people from Tokyo that only have credit cards. Luckily was able to scrap together just enough to cover the bill but this could I have been a day-ruiner. It's 2026, shouldn't have to make sure that electronic payment is an option.
Came here on a whim while strolling on the neighborhood and was pleasantly surprised by the staff and the pizza. No grilled octopus toppings even though the place is littered with the logo. Story goes one of the original owners was obsessed with them 😂. All good, it's irrelevant because the pizza taste great here. I had "THE PIZZA, medium Pie" and was impressed with the sauce, bread and toppings. Will be back for sure.
We stopped by Ignazio's in Brooklyn to try this pizza. We ordered at the window to take 1 cheese and 2 pepperoni slices to go. There are tables scattered around the area and lovely views of the Brooklyn Bridge. The undercarriage was crunchy, the sauce was mild and fresh tasting with hints of oregano. Maybe could stand a little more cheese but we all thought the pizza was great and would get again and recommend. Inside dining is available.

Pizza is good, but I wish the guy that is doing the takeout window wouldn't touch money and then touch your pizza. No one wants to be eating dirty money germs
The sauce was very fresh and flavorful on the original slice. The Sicilian was a bit breast and a little too thick and crispy/burnt for my taste. Overall decent pizza and in a good location
Stopped here after walking over the bridge and managed to get a table outside Really nice pizza at reasonable prices Staff friendly and attentive even when very busy They only take cash which i…
Title says it all. A fresh pepperoni slice and a Brooklyn lager mid afternoon was exactly what I was looking for. Sat at bar, pizza had a nice homemade (?) sauce and local draft was cold.
I went on a Thursday night and they were still open past 9pm cause I got my slice at like 915pm. Didn't ask what time they closed though. The place was pretty full with with people who got seated to eat. I just went to get a slice to go. Really glad they offer slices since you can't get any at Juliana's and Grimaldi's. It was $4 cash only. Pretty pricey for my budget but I was hungry and there weren't many options around. The pizza was pretty good although I wish the cheese was evenly spread out throughout the slice. Some spots of the slice just had only sauce and I don't like my pizza like that. The cheese was like fresh mozzarella. Sauce was decently tasty. The crust was the best part to me. It tasted good but a little too thin and overcooked for me. Needs to be a bit thicker which would probably help with it not getting burned too quickly.
Pizzeria a bit off the beaten track but overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge. I went there at the urging of my friends. Apparently the best pizza in Brooklyn. Unfortunately, there is no madness. Pizza like any other stuffed mushrooms nothing fancy. Service without any idea of how to make guests stay more pleasant. Cool place but no wow effect.
Food was top notch but the service was ordinary. Honestly, one of the nicest pizzas I had in NYC. Worth checking out purely for that. Bar selection is limited (wine, beer etc). Views out the window at night are lovely!!! That said, the experience was spurred by the overarching service. We had one waitress who was helpful and attentive, but when she was working the floor we had no luck even being able to get the attention of staff. We were sitting at the bar, there were three staff member working the computer / till and one staff member building a collection of glasses with ice in them and no one would even look towards serving a customer or accepting payment from us. Ignacio’s does not accept card either, only cash. They do provide an ATM which can be used to get cash out of need be.
Just meh for me, the service was good, the food was ok. The pizza crust was soggy, you couldn't pick it up with you hands. The toppings all slid off (unfortunately on to my daughters lap). We were ex…

Service was great!!! Location is nice. Other than that this pizza is not worth the price at all. 3 stars because it wasn't disgusting... but for the price of 2 slices and a beer I would recommend…
We ordered Margherita pizza 🍕. The price was pretty high, but pizza was huge. For 2 people too much. Pizza honestly was much lower than the average level 3 out of 10 ((( But looks beautiful. Good for Instagram photos only. Never again. Left 1$ tip. We were disappointed. But the window view was beautiful, and Brooklyn Bridge always amazing. It is better to save your money and buy something different
They serve pretty good pizza - had the half and half ham and pineapple and shrimp - both were just the right amount of crust and toppings. However, the service was not up to par to justify the mandatory 20% service charge. Had to ask for water multiple times, there were not enough servers for the number of customers that it was hard to get their attention, even asking for the change took a while. Also, while it is a touristy place, the prices here are higher than expected.
Cash only establishment (Shady). Owner wants you in and out as soon possible. He doesn't even give you an opportunity to enjoy their wannabe pizza. I highly recommend you spend your hard earned money…

The host/manager is rude and has no idea how to treat locals. He is a complete embarrassment. I feel sorry for everyone who works under him.
I was very surprised. Firstly, the service was absolutely terrible. Secondly, they only accept cash. We were told this after we'd already eaten. The waitress in glasses is completely incompetent at serving. She never came over even when there were so many empty and dirty dishes and napkins on the table, and she didn't even say goodbye.
The pizza was not bad. The service was OK u til it was time to receive my change. The prices were unrealistic. One pizza, one coke, and a beer for $84. Tip was included at 12%, gave the waitress a $100 bill and I asked for the change but she never brought the change back. I had to remind them again that I need the rest to be returned, they seemed annoyed that I did ask for my money.
My family, whose purpose is to try different locations or famous pizzas every time we travel to New York, had high expectations and ordered a basic menu and another calzone from ignazio through the cold weather. I was surprised that it was less than expected and I was surprised again that I only received cash…(Why take a cash only???????)This was a taste where everything was compared because of the memory that I waited in line for more than an hour at a famous pizza restaurant in another nearby location under the premise that I could have a problem with not understanding the deep taste because of using too good ingredients. Anyway, the food instills good memories of the city. However, ignazio was the evaluation of all of my family that I made the wrong choice. I want to find a good taste even though I waited in line for 3 hours.
