Opiniones de Laghman Express Brooklyn
So happily surprised by this spot in my neighborhood. I always walk past it and decided to give it a try. We were taken into a beautiful back room I didn’t even know was there - it was so pretty with walls of greenery. But most importantly the food was incredible. So much flavor in all the dishes. The smashed cucumber salad was my favorite though, I will be thinking about it for a long time!!
Laghman Express truly touched my heart. My mom never eats from restaurants she’s always been very picky and only trusts homemade food. But this was the first time she actually tried something from outside and genuinely liked it. Watching her enjoy the fried beef wontons and the dry noodles made me so happy. The food was fresh, comforting, and full of flavor, but what meant the most was seeing my mom smile while eating it. Thank you, Laghman Express, for giving us that moment. We’ll remember it, and we’ll definitely be coming back.
We would like to thank Akzhibek for her wonderful service. She is very polite, attentive, and friendly. Thanks to her, our evening was comfortable and enjoyable.😍
Nestled in Brooklyn, Laghman Express delivers authentic Central Asian flavors with a focus on hand-pulled noodles. The standout laghman features perfectly chewy noodles served with tender meat and fragrant vegetables, while the Dapanji (Big Plate Chicken) impresses with its bold, peppery sauce and hearty portions. Lighter dishes, like stir-fried chives with eggs or crisp Dungan-style salads, offer refreshing contrasts to the rich mains. The service is warm and attentive, and the cozy, unpretentious setting keeps the spotlight on the food. For an approachable yet soulful dining experience, Laghman Express is a hidden gem worth discovering. Must-Try Dish: Guyurou Laghman, Spinach wontons, Smashed cucumber salad, Naan, Stir fried lamb with cumin. Perfect For: Food lovers seeking bold, authentic flavors Atmosphere: Casual, intimate, and welcoming
We had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was so tasty (especially gyuru laghman and boorsok), with big portions that are really worth the price. The staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for delicious food, good prices, and great service, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Really enjoyed the vibe at Laghman Express! While the food and service were standard (3/5), the atmosphere (4/5) really made the experience stand out for me. It’s a great, welcoming spot that earns a full 5 stars for the overall experience and feeling of the place. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a nice environment!
Writing this review and just thinking about this food is just making me drool. Went there twice within a week and I am not complaining about the 50 min sub ride, which is just totally worth it once you dip that fork (still figuring out to use the chopsticks) and the blast of flavors fills in your mouth. While having the dried fried noodles it reminded me of having Indian Chinese. The breads - samsa is a must try! Love how these cuisines have got so much of influence within the region. Laghman Express is the must try spot if you’re around or in the city. Overall I am incredibly impressed by the experience. The service was outstanding, the cleanliness in the kitchen and the upkeep of the bathroom were excellent!
Authentic, quaint and absolutely mouthwatering Central Asian cuisine. Think of the Kazakhstan, Uzbek, Souther Russian region. Amazing portions and hospitality is great. Noodle with Beef is a must have - it was so good that I forgot to snap a photo of it!!! Love that everything is halal and proudly Muslim. Can’t wait to try more dishes here!
Everything was fresh and incredibly clean. The service and attention were amazing. They are so kind.In one word, I loved this place . The lamb soup was a little salty, but the lamb had a balanced taste because it was unsalted and also lamb was melting in your mouth. The Manti(dumpling) was amazing taste , the thin dough and the inner filling was phenominal. Normally I didnt like black fungus but here they made magic , it’s taste was incredibly delicious. I cant explain why I love it because it is too plain and basic but as I told they made magic if you don't like black fungus taste, you should definitely try it here. Lagman and noodle was fresh and handpull, when they served the lagman and noodle it smells a lot cumin, but you don't feel it while you are eating it.It's definitely a taste that should be tried. The portions were also quite satisfying . We will be a definitely regular customer in this resturant .It's very difficult to find a clean, tastefull and delicious place in this location. Also, thank you to all the resturant workers who served and prepared these clean and delicious dishes for us.
I visited Lagman Express in Brooklyn and was absolutely impressed! It’s a cozy, welcoming spot with authentic Central Asian cuisine. Everything I tried was incredibly delicious , especially the lagman, which had a rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The plov tasted just like homemade — hearty and satisfying. Big thanks to the friendly staff for making me feel right at home.
A truly 10/10 exceptional experience from start to finish. They were able to accommodate a very last minute birthday dinner with 11 people. From the manti, to the noodles, to the black fungus salad, every single dish was a delight. My only concern at the end of the meal was when I could rush back to explore more of the menu. It’s an absolutely MUST
Amazing doesn’t do it justice. Laghman Express is one of the greatest meals I’ve ever had. I ordered the fungus salad, dry noodles, and the spicy lamb - and each dish was spectacular and complimented each other perfectly. The people working are so helpful and so nice. I can’t wait to go back.
My first time trying this place and it was phenomenal! The dishes were super flavorful and very reasonably priced. The staff are so nice and attentive and gave me a thorough rundown of the menu. Will definitely be back :)
This place brings be back to my childhood memories of my grandmas and moms cooking. Literally every single time it’s that scene from the “ratatouille” where the food critic gets transferred to his childhood through his memory of his mom cooking for him, that’s exactly how I feel. Laghman express is all of Central Asia squeezed into Brooklyn
I had another great experience at Laghman Express. The food never disappoints — everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The lagman is especially amazing: perfectly cooked noodles, rich sauce, and tender meat with the right balance of spices. The portions are big, so you definitely leave full and satisfied. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity you get, which makes it even better. The service is excellent — fast, friendly, and very welcoming. The place is clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere makes you want to come back again. Laghman Express truly stands out for its taste, value, and service. Highly recommended!
Delicious food! Two of us went - we ordered SO much food since we wanted to try everything. Would recommend the manti, cold eggplant salad, baursak, samsa, cold noodles with lamb cumin, and dry fried noodles. I’m sure everything else is good too! Great service - speedy cooking time. Manti was life changing to say the least
People are so nice here, specially the food, not pricey and very tasty! The female worker gave us some free dishes and we are very grateful, she’s got a happy smile while serving and this made our experience really fun! Will definitely come back and please support local restaurants like this!
Visited Laghman Express with a crew of seven—and let me tell you, convincing people to travel nearly an hour outside the city for food is no small feat. But after your first bite, the only real debate becomes whether eating here multiple times a week qualifies as a lifestyle or a problem. It’s that good. Like movies, sequels rarely hold up to the original. Yet somehow, Laghman Express defies the odds. With two locations (both boasting 5.0 stars and over 2,000 reviews) and a third on the way in Atlanta, it’s clear this isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a phenomenon. The atmosphere is unpretentious and warm. Plastic trays and paper plates set the tone—not like you’re dining out, but like you’ve been invited into a family’s home for a feast. Food hits the table fast, fresh, and piping hot—from appetizers to mains—without missing a beat. The staff? Incredible. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful in guiding you through the menu. They move with the kind of grace and awareness that makes it feel like they’ve known you for years—even refilling your water and anticipating extra orders before you say a word. In short: Laghman Express doesn’t just live up to the hype—it sets the bar. If you're anywhere near NYC, this is an essential stop. Don’t miss it. Dishes Ordered: TOTAL $244 w/ tip PLENTY LEFTOVER Fried wonton Dumplings with chili Fried Manty Crispy eggplant (INCREDIBLE) Smashed cucumber Sweet tomatoes Pearl shaped noodles Dry fried noodles French fries with meat Tish Fish (spell check) Thrashkent Plov Samsa split x 3
This restaurant was amazing. I would definitely recommend to any other muslim people who are interested into central asian cuisine. The noodles were super tasty and delicious. The samsas were also very delicious. Everything here was so good. And the famous moroccan teapot was amazing also i loved it it was a bit bitter but still really good.
I recently visited this cafe and was very impressed! The atmosphere is very cozy, with elements of national color - you can immediately feel the warmth and hospitality. The dishes are amazing: everything is fresh, fragrant and cooked with soul. I especially liked the national dishes - the taste was exactly the same as at home, with real traditional spices and rich taste. The portions are generous, and the presentation is very beautiful. Service at the highest level - the staff is polite, friendly and always ready to help with the choice. This place is perfect for a family dinner and a meeting with friends. I will definitely come back again and recommend it to everyone who wants to try real national cuisine! 🌿🍲✨
Food here is authentic and something you can't easily get elsewhere. Service is always very friendly and they always have a smile on their face when you walk in. I always order the crispy eggplant, beef Laghman, crispy mini wontons and the wood ear mushroom salad. Fried fish with veggies also is quite good. Portions are decent for the price.
Food was really good and service was excellent. All the staff were really nice and polite. Went for iftar, though it took time for the food to arrive but they provided fruits, dates and water to break our fasting. And also gave complimentary tea. Food price is reasonable. The sitting area isn’t that big but can host around 30-35 people. They have good food options to choose from. Highly recommended for people who is looking for halal food and a different kind of cuisine.
I came from another part of the U.S., and Lagman Express was on my must-visit list, and honestly, it was even better than I expected! The service was great. We were warmly welcomed, and the food came really fast. We ordered one lagman and split it into two — the portion was huge! Everything was super delicious. We couldn’t even finish all the food, so we took the rest home. I’m really happy I came here!
Honestly, I didn’t expect Lagman Express to leave such a strong impression — but Akzhibek definitely did. From the first moment, her smile and warm energy changed the whole atmosphere. She’s not just doing her job — she brings light into the place. Attentive, kind, and naturally charming. You can feel that she truly cares about the guests. Great food is important, but great people make you come back. And Akzhibek is exactly that kind of person. If you visit Lagman Express, I hope you get served by her — your day will instantly become better. Some people serve food. Others serve good vibes. She does both.
I started with the mini buns — super crispy and fresh. Then I had manty, and they honestly tasted homemade. Everything was hot and full of flavor. Laghman Express definitely impressed me — I’d happily go back again.
Very, very and very tasty food. Plus fresh products with professional service make your visit unforgettable. Each dish has an amazing furious taste. Rusian-type ravioli boiled and fried are great. I ate Lagman in many places, but such a yummy only here. I come here every two weeks, with my family, and my friends, and when I have a shortage of time, taking food to go. I contemporary already told them that if they always prepare food at the same high level, they will always have many customers. I would like to especially note the service. Care and attention are at the top of Janerke's quality. This girl served the next dish on time and although I did not want to leave the cafe, I can say with certainty that we will return more than once.
Ughyar Asian Food is a cozy spot serving bold, flavorful dishes from across Asia. I travelled from a different borough just to try the halal food and it was spectacular. Service is quick and friendly, and prices are good for the amazing quality. A great hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Asian flavors.
Lagman Express is honestly amazing. The food is full of flavor , perfectly cooked, and served in generous portions. Everything tastes fresh and satisfying. The service is just as impressive-fast , friendly and very professional, Great food and great service every time!
Absolutely delicious — just like home! We came all the way from Boston and were blown away by how good the food is. Every single dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and tasted like something made with love and tradition. We truly hope the next location opens in Boston — we’d be your first customers! Everything was so, so good, and we loved every moment of it. Highly recommend!
Came here with the boyfriend and his family and the food was excellent. We had the dried fried noodles, central Asian manty, beef tripe salad, baursak, and dapanji. Baursak are pieces of lightly fried, crispy bread that you dip in cream. The beef tripe salad was well done and flavorful. The dried fried noodles had a really great flavor to it. The dapanji was stewed chicken, which we ordered some noodles on the side. There was a stir fried beef dish I cannot remember the name of, but also delicious. Everything was very well done, including the manty which is similar to the Uzbek manti. I crave this place so much!
Absolutely AMAZING place. It was consistently busy but very well deserved. Food was actually to die for. I think the staff immediately noticed i was new so they took the time to basically go over their entire menu, completely unprompted, and very helpfully gave some customer favorites. I took their suggestion and was not disappointed. They also have complimentary house chilli oil and I was willing to steal the whole container, I kid you not. They also have a larger view into the kitchen, and while it's not quite like a cook in front of you type deal, there's occasionally a little flame show as they're just regularly cooking, which is pretty entertaining.
had Uyghur food for the first time with friends and it was a spectacular experience! the service was superb- the waitress was extremely attentive and provided great recommendations. every dish we tried was so culturally rich, flavorful, and unique. affordable spot as well and generous portions. would def come back again!
Everything was absolutely delicious! We ordered two main dishes and a salad to share — we really wanted to finish everything, but the portions were so generous we had to take the rest to go (happily!). The food was flavorful and satisfying, and the service was impressively fast. Honestly, it’s been a long time since I’ve had such a tasty and affordable meal. Big compliments to the team — well done!
NYC isn't known for getting the top notch, best service, but i think found that in laghman express. It's like someone invited you to their home and gave you a home cook meal. They were very nice with their customer service. I love the food. It was warm and so full filling. My friend doesn't like lamb, but said theirs isn't bad (as long as it's fresh). Their homemade drink is great! Helps cut down the oil. People who aren't into oily foods may not like it too much. I wanted to try their chicken but it was out of stock :(
We come here at least once or twice a month, and it’s truly my favorite place! They serve some of the best Central Asian food, especially the laghman. The food is always high quality and reasonably priced. All of my friends love Laghman Express, and I would definitely recommend it to others as well!
What an absolute hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with that signature Central Asian warmth that makes you feel like a welcomed guest rather than just a customer. The atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and genuinely heartfelt. A huge thank you to the talented cooks and the entire team for creating such a memorable experience. I especially want to highlight our amazing waitress/host, Zhanerke. Her kindness, attentiveness, and courtesy truly elevated our visit. She made us feel taken care of in the best way possible. And the food—wow. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh and homemade, with the noodles being a standout. You can tell there’s real care and tradition behind every plate. Flavorful, comforting, and absolutely delicious from start to finish. It was so yummy we ordered for a family of 4 despite it just being two of us eating! If you're looking for authentic, beautifully prepared dishes paired with exceptional hospitality, this place is a must-visit, a worthy trek from Manhattan. Highly, highly recommend!
I’ve been here a few times and this is the best restaurant in Brooklyn hands down. Their noodles, samsa, and Moroccan Tea are so good. All their lamb dishes and other meat dishes are also really tender and flavorful. They also have an outside seating area in the back so it’s a great atmosphere to sit and catch up with friends or to have a quick delicious meal.
Amazing food and service! The food came out quickly and was so delicious, and the lady who served us was so attentive, prompt and polite. One dish initially came out without noodles and to make up for it our server gave us extra dumplings and rice. Servings had great value and the atmosphere was very family friendly. Hope to return!
Me and my boyfriend have always passed by this spot whenever we’re driving but we never thought to stop by. It wasn’t until I searched it up on google maps and I was shook that this spot had 5.0 stars with over 1,000 reviews. We decided to give this spot a try and this is truly a hidden gem. I can definitely see why this spot is rated so highly. The food was delicious and it came out piping hot! Everyone here was super nice and welcoming and that elevated the experience 100x. Everything was super flavorful and still tasted very clean and not too heavy. We will definitely be coming back here to try other dishes! (Even as I’m writing this review, I still remember how delicious everything was. I might need to stop by again soon this week!) If you’re looking for some delicious food, definitely give this spot a try!
Amazing service, comfortable and cozy dining space with such great Uzbek food. All the noodle and meat dishes were delicious. Exactly what we needed during this cold 17 degrees weather. Only issue: food was served in to go containers. Where as their other location on Coney Island Ave serve their dishes in beautiful ceramic green plates and bowls.Highly recommend!!!
I went in and ordered almost $50 worth of food thinking I would take some leftovers home to have as lunch tomorrow but the food was so delicious I ended up finishing it all in one sitting. My food came out to me so fast and the service was absolutely phenomenal. The central Asian staff that works here are an exemplary example of Turkic hospitality. I understand why this place was in the New York Times top 100 two years in a row. Do yourself a favor and eat here.
Great restaurant . They have a sign on the wall saying they’re ranked among the top 100 restaurants in New York, and honestly, they live up to it. Everything is clean, service is fast, and the staff is very friendly — they take the time to explain the menu and help with recommendations. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. It’s a perfect place to come for dinner and enjoy a delicious meal. Highly recommended — clean, tasty, and truly high quality.
This is my second visit here and I will definitely be coming back for more! The samsa and naan were fresh and soft, the cumin lamb was flavorful and the new dish tashkent plov is a nice combination of sweet and savory with the carrot and lamb. The waitress was also really nice in recommending us what to try and what is popular.
Today we went there for dinner and the staff were really welcoming. They are really well behaved. And the food is soo good ! The portion is also very good. Definitely gonna visit again soon. No wonder why they have so many good reviews! Love love love. My 3 year old toddler loved their dumplings. 🤌🏻❤️
I had such a great experience at Laghman Express! Akzhibek was amazing — super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. She made us feel comfortable right away and helped us pick the best dishes. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and packed with flavor. The portions were generous too. I really appreciate that it’s a halal restaurant. Definitely coming back and highly recommend this place!
Laghman Express genuinely surprised me in the best way possible. From the first bite, I could tell this wasn’t just ordinary fast dining — the flavors were bold, balanced, and memorable. The lagman had a deep, comforting taste that felt homemade, and the ingredients were clearly fresh. What I appreciated most was how satisfying everything felt. The portions are more than generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth. It’s rare to find a place where quality, quantity, and price all align so well. The energy of the place is also great — efficient, organized, and welcoming. The team works quickly, but you never feel rushed. Everything runs smoothly, and that makes the experience even better. Laghman Express proves that simple food, when done right, can be outstanding. Definitely a place worth visiting.
Visited Laghman Express and really liked it. I had the lamb with scallions — very juicy and well-seasoned. Good portion size and fair prices. The atmosphere is great, very cozy and comfortable. Fast service, solid place overall.
Absolutely loved this place! The dumplings were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — easily some of the best I’ve had in a long time 🥟 Every bite tasted homemade and high quality. The service was phenomenal — staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish. The atmosphere was just as impressive: clean, cozy, and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and an all-around excellent dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
We had a lovely experience at Laghman Express. I ordered the traditional Guyurou laghman with broth, and it was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The noodles were fresh, and the broth made it even more satisfying. The portions were generous, everything came out quickly, and the waitresses were very sweet and polite. The whole place felt clean and welcoming.
Stumbled upon this place on our last day in NYC... and what a find ! Warm service, cozy vibe, clean space, fast and super delicious food. Dishes looked just like the photos and tasted even better. Great value for the price. We even got a little treat at the end - such a lovely touch 🥰 Would definitely come back! :)
Atmosphere: Bright, clean, and welcoming. The open kitchen adds a fun touch—you can actually watch the chefs stretch and pull the noodles by hand. Service: Fast and friendly. The staff was happy to explain dishes to newcomers, and everything arrived piping hot. We will go with the family to try all the dishes! The portions are large, everything is hot, fresh and wonderfully seasoned in moderation. We are really happy with the whole family and wish for development, grateful guests and more space to sit more comfortably)
Everyone knows Laghman Express has amazing food — it’s always busy and there’s usually a line, which says a lot! The dishes are consistently delicious. But today I especially want to recognize two waitresses at their first location — Molly and Zhanerke. Even with a full restaurant and nonstop orders, they were incredibly polite, warm, and welcoming. Their tone of voice, kindness, and professionalism truly stood out. Working in such a fast-paced environment isn’t easy, but they handled everything with grace and positive energy. Also, credit to the kitchen team — they work nonstop and still deliver high-quality, flavorful food every time. Great food and wonderful people. Highly recommend!
TLDR: great service with tasty food, just wish they used real silverware and utensils We got a medley of items for the 7 of us, my favorite was the sweet and sour fish, the dumplings and the cold noodles. Service was excellent, she was fun and really took care of us. Would highly recommend you come here!
I've never really had this kind of cuisine before, but everything was absolutely amazing! The waitress was so nice, I asked her for recommendations and she didn't fail me ☺️ the flavor was sooo good, I loved the lamb, the mini dumplings, and the noodles. I can't wait to come back and try out the other dishes!
We had an AMAZING experience at Laghman, this place kept coming up on my maps and I had been wondering about it! We were a group of 7 people, the first group got black fungus salad, smashed cucumber salad, lamb, and three types of noodles. Two of us came later and opted for chicken dumpling (vegetable was sold out) and lamb cold noodle laghman. Everything was excellent! Noodles had a great mix of toppings and noodles, there is a chili oil you can use on the table to add spice. Dumplings were not really my cup of tea… Another note is that their prices have gone up alot- if you look at the menu photos from a year ago everything was cheaper by 2-3$. Even in the laat 7 months!
Wonderful yummy food! The chicken shawarma and the guyurou laghman were absolutely delicious! Service was friendly, we were served by Zhanerke and Zhibek, both of them were lovely with great energy and smile on their face! Restaurant very clean and nicely decorated!! They played some awesome throwbacks in the restaurant!!!! Highly recommend!
Everything is tasty and the portions are generous — definitely a must-try spot. The stir-fried lamb is clean and flavorful with no excess oil. The dry fried noodles has a really well-balanced sauce, and the noodles are nicely chewy. The savory yogurt is unique and something I hadn’t tried before — highly recommended. The lamb samsa is fluffy, crispy, and packed with flavor — hands down the best samsa in NYC.
I wish I took more pictures but sometimes when the food is so amazing you forget about all that and get straight to inhaling the food lol. This spot is my standout find of the year in ny. I thought the reviews would be bs, I was wondering how good can noodles be, I did not know I’d find my favorite noodle dish of my life this day. My plan wasn’t even to have this I sort of just experimented and little did I know I found one of my favorite spots of the year overall and for sure my favorite spot in nyc. Their hand pulled noodles are next level, I loved pretty much everything about the experience and they are definitely deserving of the great reviews. If you’re wondering if you should try this trust me you will not regret it.
Went to the 20th Avenue and 62nd street location of laghman express in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn nyc. Written up by the ny times in 24 and 25 as one of the top nyc restaurants. Central Asian cuisine: laghman, chechvera and compote. Phenomenal food. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great staff! 3% credit card fee
Wonderful food. The lamb manty had a very rich tasty filling that paired well with the fresh herbs and sour cream. The crispy fried eggplant was an unexpected delight. We opted for two of the most popular hand pulled noodle dishes, and both were excellent. I would recommend the lamb over the beef - but I am partial to lamb. The server was very friendly and helpful. Portions are huge, we had tons of leftovers to bring home!
The food at this restaurant is nothing short of exceptional, boasting vibrant flavors and exquisite presentation. The service is equally impressive, with attentive staff who ensure a delightful dining experience. Additionally, the portions are generous, providing great value for reasonable prices. I truly have no complaints—this place exceeds expectations in every way.
I could eat this everyday, the fried manty are the ultimate comfort dish!! The dumplings were juicy and full of meat and the main courses were spiced to perfection. On top of the amazing food is the incredible staff and cozy environment. must try you won’t regret taking your friends here just to try out every appetizer.
I have lived in Bensonhurst for 27 years. The neighborhood has evolved many times, from old-school Italian to a predominantly Chinese and lightly hispanic, to now a large presence of middle eastern and central asian populations. With it comes new food and cuisines. I stopped by out of curiosity when they first opened but never tried it today. I remember being shocked at their ratio of reviews. 2500 reviews and 4.9 stars in an outerborough restaurant is rare. Many times these restaurants are rated slightly lower due to their customers being more local and less touristy - aka frequent repeat customers with high expectations. This set my own expectations high too. I am glad to say it lived up to it. The dumplings were incredible. Delicate, lightly crisp on the outside in a thin skin with juicy chunks of meat on the inside. They were large too, and seasoned well. The meat had a slightly gamey texture and taste that complexity to the flavor profile. The noodles were also fantastic. Perfectly dense with a slight bounce in each chew but also very easy to bite. A reasonable meat portion and very good vegetables. The peppers, celery, and onions were fresh and crisp. The sauce/seasonings were actually lighter than I expected, but due to the quality of the ingredients the flavors of the vegetables and meat are augmented by the spice profile rather than being dominated by such. That is the sign of excellent food. I think they do deserve their 5 stars. I have eaten at plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood as well as from the Michelin guide around the world and would absolutely say that this is amongst some of the best restaurants representing central asian cuisines I have eaten at. It really did have a home cooked feel to it. Also, the service was excellent. Very friendly staff. Being a newer restaurant I can imagine their operations overhead costs are probably higher than longer standing establishments, so do note the prices. But like I said, I have paid much more for much less quality before.
Amazing food great staff what can I say. This place is the balls! I had wanted to go here for a while since Scott from hellgate did his review and it did not disappoint! We got the cold noodle with lamb cumin, fried wontons with beef and baursak. All amazing next time I would skip the baursak fried dough just because there is so much more on the menu I would rather try. Great portion a great price and fantasy flavor. I’ll probably skip the apps next time and try two entrees!
What a great meal! I fully expect them to be the next big thing in halal food in the next few years. Every dish was super flavorful, you get sweet, sour, savory, acid and there is black vinegar and chili oil on the table if you want to punch it up even more. We ordered cumin lamb, the dry stir fry hand pulled beef noodles, wood ear mushroom salad, fried dumplings and eggplant which was a sleeper hit - did not expect it to be that good. Highly recommend. The portions are generous. We were 3 people and left stuffed and even had left overs. We went on a busy Friday night and waited about half an hour for a table. Waiting wasn't so bad because you could see all of the different food coming out from the kitchen through the big windows. The service is 10 stars. Omot is really the whole FOH. She's the server, runner, hostess and she busts tables. She really took care of us. Can't wait to return!

Smashed Cucumber Salad Yummy cucumbers and perfect to have after a bite of the other dishes. Stir Fried Lamb with Cumin Felt like this dish would have been great if they had used literally any salt 😭😭 Tashkent Style Plov To most people this is probably just a good dish, but I love rice, chickpeas, and meat, so to me it was yummmyyyy. Dapanji Tender, flavorful chicken with bouncy noodles and huge chunks of potatoes. Two thumbs up from me. Dry Fried Noodles This had more flavor than every other dish combined, and that’s not a complaint. These noodles get a hellllll yeah. Overall Everything was well portioned and they gave us so much meat. Solid meal.
“OK La”… is the best I can say. We dropped by to have lunch, small shop seats about 20 (possibly less) but there are 2 tables outside. Feels more like a “takeaway” spot vs. dining in. It’s not a table service establishment - you order via the kiosk or front. They will ask if you want it to go or “eat in”. If eating in, grab a table and they bring you the food when ready. Our experience today definitely impacted the overall feel - like maybe they are too busy with so many “takeaway” orders which then resulted in unorganized dine-in experience. We ordered 2 different noodle dish and fried manty, and asked for 2 cups of tap water. We got the fried manty… but the tap water never came. So choking on chili oil… had to get a sprite ($5!). Then 1 of our noodles came… it was ok, good flavor but after my 5th bite - it became one note. The gamey taste didn’t help. After about 15 mins in… my husband’s noodle never came. Finally had to ask the staff and found out, it was never put in. So we canceled it - 1 fried manty, 1 laghman noodle, and 1 sprite; total of $42 +, paid in cash, to avoid the extra fee - paid $45 and left the change. Perhaps a different system is needed to streamline how their orders come in but who knows. Food wise, it’s ok, I don’t understand the hype… is it due to the lack of halal or Muslim eatery? Is that why ppl are flocking here? I don’t see myself eating here often… food feels heavy and overly salted. To each its own.
First time trying this place. The woman at the register was so gracious and nice and the place is small but well kept in the seating area. I am genuinely confused though how this place has such a high rating. I truly expected exceptional food. That is where I was really disappointed. Never ate at a place that had a 4.9 rating on over 2600 reviews. The reason that such a high rating is confusing is because they don't offer a great value for what you pay. Other than the high prices and meager portions the food itself didn't sit well with me. It may just be me but sadly, the food gave me the runs within minutes of eating. I ordered the beef wontons, meat and fries and one of their more popular dishes( according to the very nice lady behind the counter), I believe it was called Moguru. That is the dish that instantly had me using the bathroom. I can confirm that because I had a small plate of it at one time and later on with the same result. The vegetables that come in their dishes consist of green peppers, onions, tomatoes and maybe a mushroom or two. Like I said, the value for the money you pay is just not there. The meat and fries were about 17 or 18 dollars and it's just a few pieces of what may be stir fried beef over some fries with a side of peppers onions and some kind of garnishing greens. The wontons I believe were around 15 dollars and they are not what you think of when you think wontons. Instead of a crispy shell it's more of a flaky pastry crust surrounding little bites of meat. The Moguru, which consist of their "hand pulled noodles" is covered with a tomato based sauce with a little bit of what one can assume to be beef salted with lots of onions and green peppers. And that plate cost 25 dollars. It really sat in my stomach and made me feel bloated and uncomfortable. I had really high expectations but was deeply underwhelmed by the food. While the people are nice and the place seems clean I just don't think this place can organically garner a 4.9 rating on that many reviews. I will say the fries were yummy in the meat and fries but it definitely wasn't worth the 17-18 dollar cost.
