AMAZING meal at Misc. I came with a group of 5 and this was more than enough for us! 3 entrees, 2 appetizers, and a dessert! Everything was so delicious. The duck was insanely smooth and pad see ew was seasoned SO well. The wings were also spectacular. Truthfully, customer service was OK, we felt a bit rushed. But overall, amazing meal!!!!

I tried the Mama J O and the Dug Roti, and both were outstanding. • Mama J O: The noodles were perfectly cooked—soft, springy, and full of flavor. Every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh, and you can tell the kitchen puts real care into selecting high-quality produce. The flavors are bold but well-balanced, making every bite comforting and satisfying. • Dug Roti: This was a total highlight. The roti was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a wonderfully fragrant aroma. Paired with the rich, flavorful sauce, it was absolutely addictive. I would go back just for this! My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant last night, and everything was delicious! The service was great as well. All the employees were very friendly and polite. We started with the Shrimp Shanks as an appetizer. For our main courses, we had the Tiger Shrimp served with classic basil fried rice and the Grilled Whole Branzini fish accompanied by the same fried rice. To drink, we enjoyed Ginger Tamarind and a mojito fizzy. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Five stars!

My friend and I were starving and I had to take her to my favorite Thai place in crown heights for lunch. We got seated right away, and ordered from the lunch special menu. The service was great. The food came out in a timely manner. We got the fried tofu, a salad, Franklin wings, and the spicy basil fried rice. It was all delicious! Very flavorful. Lots of choice on their main menu depending on what you’re feeling. Highly recommend trying them out.

Surprised to see how crowded it was on a Sunday evening, but after having a meal there, I know why; food was great and our server was nice. The front seating is a bit more condensed, but also more charming. There is additional seating in the back as well. Everything we had was delicious; duck roti is really flavorful, peanut dumplings did remind me of mochi with the rice wrapping and sweet filling, papaya salad was great and you can dictate spice level, and the Khao Soi was large and flavorful.

A true hidden gem with incredible Thai food! I really appreciate the variety of vegetarian options here - including mock duck so we have a protein option other than just tofu. The Pad Se Ew with mock duck is one of the most flavorful versions of this dish I’ve had, and the Green Curry (with tofu) was perfection - not too spicy, incredibly tasty and bold. I also recommend getting some roti to soak up the extra curry. The drinks are all more on the sweet side - I had the Miami Beach and it was tasty, but a little sweeter than my usual liking. The only reason for 1 less star is because I found the desserts to be a bit of a letdown - the lava cake had no lava and the coconut sticky rice was mostly just rice with some ice cream on top. Aside from the desserts, everything was fabulous and I would come back!

Among the many restaurants along Franklin Ave, this neighborhood Thai spot stands out as better than most. On this visit, I ordered two lunch specials for takeout, each priced at $15.95 with chicken as the protein. The staff was cheerful and attentive, despite a sparse lunchtime crowd. They answered my questions and even accommodated my request to make the drunken noodles mild, something not listed on the menu or online ordering on their website. Each lunch special includes a simple salad and a choice of one side. I chose Drunken Noodles with Franklin Wings for one, and Emerald Green Curry with vegetable dumplings for the other. Despite being told both dishes had some spice, the flavors leaned noticeably sweet and could have used more heat. In hindsight, I would have left the drunken noodles at their default spice level. The wings, however, were tender, crispy, and worth having again. Overall, this is a solid neighborhood option. I’d like to come back and dine in next time to get a better sense of the dishes they offer.

decent thai joint tucked into crown heights, had chicken drunken noodles spicy and savoury, four wheel drive which is a type of tom yum noodle dish but kind of bland, and the duck roti, which had tasty flavors but my duck was dry. the thai iced tea was roasty and delicious though.

This was not the first, second or third time i’ve ever dined at this establishment but it might be the last. The last time i visited i was told to sit at the bar to wait for the rest of my party to arrive. i didn’t have an issue w it that. i did have an issue with the bartender actively ignoring me and serving the two people sitting on opposite side of me. i had to ask for a DRINK MENU AND WATER 15 min after being ignored. I made several attempts to catch the eye of the bartender but i had to physically wave them down to get my order in. when i finally caught their attention i said “can i have have a lychee delight when you get a chance” they bartender said something in their language to the hostess and the lady who was also behind the bar they all looked at me an laughed. weird. not sure what the issue was i just wanted some service. When my party finally arrived i was located to a seat at the table directly behind the seat i was sitting at the bar. Later in the evening there was an altercation with another young black woman who had an issue with a food item she didn’t like/eat being on her bill. That was a separate incident on its own but she also mentioned the bartender not having adequate customer service skills which i agree with. Yall are located in brooklyn and although the neighborhood is gentrified you still have black and brown patrons that initiate with your dining establishment. treat them the same way you treat EVERYONE that sits in your seats. i know that the bartenders employment has to be a result of nepotism and not actual skills so i doubt any sort of consequence will be carried out. the food was great as usual but it’s so unfortunate that i had such a poor experience at a restaurant i used to rave about and bring all my friends to. please do better. update 12/28/25: this chatgpt ssa response to my review. yall know yall were wrong. im not going to argue semantics and you’re not going my to invalidate my experience. i have a degree in DEI for a reason.
