I always come here when I don't know what I want to eat. The platters are HUGE. I usually get half a chicken with two sides and it's enough to feed two people. Their salads are also good and they really pack it in there! I can usually split a large salad with grilled chicken into two meals.

Best place to get healthy juices, smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, and meals for a good price. Love their wraps for sure and they have some really tasty cookies as well (I know that's not healthy) and I work hard so I'm going to treat myself.

There are so many options to choose from the food is really good. The service was really fast and they have some really delicious cookies up near the counter.

UPDATE: Ovi' s place delivers, can be found on Uber Eats and Yelp Eat24. Wow... I've passed this place a million times and finally decided to stop in. I sure do regret not going here sooner. Loaded with healthy options, a juice bar and freshly cooked meals right infront of you. Did I mention healthy options?! Ha. The lady who made our juice and our meals was very friendly. The portions were hefty and definitely delicious. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, this is now my go to spot!

Best burrito ever! They also have a lot of healthy options such as affordable juices made from fresh veggies and fruits! I've found my new post-clas stopping point.

I’ve been coming here for at least 6 years. Food is consistently good! They have huge variety and it is actually fresh! We get salads, juices, rice, sides and chicken. I do wish the would switch up cooked veggie selection sometime. Most people that work there are super nice, we never had an issue. Prices are reasonable, especially taking into consideration recent inflation etc. Another thing some people may miss is the fact that this is actually a local small business in the neighborhood that consistently offers healthy food options and is open every single day. This is not a chain, this is local and people work really hard to maintain it.

I've lived right down the street from this gem of a deli and only recently noticed its existence. Wonderful staff, fresh food, reasonably priced. Reminds me of the old Lindy's or real NYC style delicatessens. Smoothies are delicious, salads are huge, coleslaw is fresh, and I had the best pastrami melt I've had in a long time. Will definitely be going back.

Oh man, Ovis Place is the best I'm a vegetarian so my selections are limited but they don't disappoint. I usually get the veggie burrito around lunchtime with everything in it of course or for breakfast I get their breakfast burrito Besides that I go for them create your salads with up to 6 toppings it is so good if I'm trying to eat light I pair up their soups with some fried plantains I can mention more but this review would be too much you have to go for yourself to see Enjoy!! Also, they are not too pricey being that most restaurants are raising prices go and check out Ovis place!!!

Great spot to grab some food inbetween classes. The sandwiches are amazingly delicious and a good portion too! Also recommend the smoothies for a refresher. The staff is always very nice and helpful.

Went in the store to grab some water but instead left with a smoothie. This restaurant has plenty of options to choose from when it comes to food but mostly the store itself is good. The atmosphere is welcoming. I would visit here again just to try their food.

So far, I've only had a custom made salad and it was absolutely phenomenal. At very reasonable prices, their options are abundant in just about anything you decide to order. Staff is polite, quick and focused. Take some time to look at the menu before you order, there's a lot of options!

I went here for the first time recently to try their Birria tacos and I was not disappointed at all. They’re the perfect balance of savory, spicy, and cheesy. I also saw they had Mac and cheese so I tried a little cup of it (pictured) and the Mac and cheese was perfect to go along with it. The sauce wasn’t too thick or liquidy. Would 10/10 recommend this place to a friend, and would 20/10 come here after my undergrad is finished up.

Don't walk, run to Ovi's place. The best collard greens I've ever had. I ordered the chicken with collard greens and vegetables. You can literally taste the love. My soul enjoyed this delicious homemade food. It tasted like something my grandmother would've made. Homemade mouth watering perfection. I got it delivered, and was given an ETA of 20 minutes, it arrived piping hot in about 10 minutes. Google needs to add more stars, 5 just isn't enough.

We stopped in for lunch and glass we did. The outside doesn’t look appealing but the food here is amazing. We had smoothies which were delicious and had quesadillas, bowls, and tacos 🌮. Very impressed with the quality and the amount of food for the price. They also have great sides like Mac and cheese for the kids. The menu is extensive and has a little something for everyone. It’s pay at the counter and seat yourselves. Very casual. Highly recommend Ovi’s Place for great for great value ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love this place. They stuffed my boxes full of sides. I got the fried rice, spaghetti, Mac n cheese, mixed vegetables, and chicken vegetable soup. Everything was super tasty. The soup was the winner. I'm stuffed, but I keep going at the soup.

If you dont feel like eating fast food, this right here is a healthy alternative. Getting a meal,for one, here should cost no more than $10 -$12. They have smoothies, sandwiches, and a kids' meal.

Really enjoyed the space and salads. Customer service was ok, most staff is foreign and doesn't really understand what you're asking. Overall good experience though.

I normally come here for a smoothie after the gym and go. The fruit has always been fresh. Every time I come here everyone has been extremely friendly. The only down side I’ve noticed is that the sitting area is a bit cluttered and seemed not thoroughly cleaned (I’ve noticed this a couple of times).

Great hatian food. The line is strange wish they had a separate line for shakes and one for food. I also wish the hatian guys who hang out in their cars in front would stop doing that. Customers who actually want to park up and run in fast cant do that if they are occupying the space. But that not the fault of the restaurant. The owners are nice and respectful and The are healthy salad options as well. Beware of who is making your shake.

The salads are not bad, and certainly filling. However, they are nothing to write home about. Stay away from the burritos.

I have been here a few times but this is my worse experience here. I ordered the tuna salad with tons of veggies. First the person preparing my salad actually put it together was rude from the jump. Then the topper was her dropping something and asking someone should she pick it up and put it in my bowl. He proceeds to tell her “I don’t know, ask her. “ They made a comment about how I have a lot of stuff in my salad and it’s not a salad. Like there isn’t a salad without lettuce. Especially a veggie-concentrated salad. Lastly as I was leaving I was told that I would alway be fat. The two servers said it among themselves but I heard them. I won’t be returning back. I have never been treated this way in an establishment. Disgusting! Update I spoke to the manager and he apologized for their behavior. He offered that I come in and I could get a discount. That’s a nice gesture. I am happy that he was considerate of my feelings.

This place has pretty good chicken and sides. However, quality of experience is dependent on the worker. One of the women was courteous and kindly poured some gravy over my food. She even put some sauces in my take-out bag. When I went a second time, one of the men servers barely said a word to me, and he said something in Spanish about my order to the person at the register. I had confirmed my order with the server before he started preparing, yet my order came out to be more expensive than it should have been.

Food is decent and affordable but service can be improved. Earlier today I walked in to order food with no one on the line and tried to be acknowledged so I could order but gave up after a few minutes when the boss was talking with the employees so decided to go to Chipotle instead.

The prices can seem very unreasonable. $20 for a birria quesadilla is crazy and the quality doesn’t match the price. The Mac a cheese isn’t good at all. And the beef stew has good flavor but the meat is tuff. They have so many things on the menu but they aren’t that good at cooking it. Only good thing is 1/3 of the menu they make fresh. Stay away from any hot food they have prepared in advance including the birria NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

Ordered Birria Tacos (to stay) and Chicken Tacos (to go), The Birria Tacos were good enough, birria meat was seasoned and so was consome, however the masa tortilla was very bland so did not resemble birria tacos unless i dipped it in the consome. (The picture shows how white the tortilla of the tacos appear). The chicken tacos were good as well, however charged me the same price (5 dollars a taco) even though I requested to have my order without guac or sour cream). So i felt like this and the Birria tacos ($6 each) were not worth the price for the location being, and the serving size of the food, only 2 tacos, and each order came with 3 slices cucumber on the side. Overall, restaurant service was respectful and quick, but would only recommend if you are in a rush for food.

I've been eating at Ovis for a while now but recently I've noticed that they are watering down their salad dressings and other condiments such as their sour cream etc. I usually get a salad but the salads dosent taste as good as it shoukd with watered down dressing poured all over it. Quit being cheap and use quality ingredients in your food or you will lose some good customers

Only 2 stars because the smoothies are good. They're expensive but taste good. Almost $8 for medium smoothie with 4 ingredients smh. The food on the other hand is completely disgusting and tasteless. I can't understand how anyone can say the food is good. I would never in my life order their food again. I wasted 15 and we didn't even finish it. The croutons were soft and the greens wilted in the salad. Such a shame

You know the food doesn’t have an authentic taste but it’s manageable. Also, it’s in the neighborhood why not support a small business? I came in there happy to bless them with my money and for them to bless me with their food. They’re a business, wouldn’t their mantra be the same? I don’t believe in wasting but I do believe in fulfillment. Whoever is at the register, the man who should be wiser than what he is, shouldn’t treat a customer who never shouted, never cursed, always smiled, patiently waited, spoke to other customers, sat and ate with my children no chaos. I just wanted to change my drink because I didn’t like the sample. Okay it wasn’t a sample, it was ‘left overs’ that he didn’t want to waste. But you can’t make a smoothie with the ginger skin on without asking if I want the ginger skin on. How could you have a Maneki-neko and you’re not even living up to its name? Where was your honor for your store? Why tell me you’re not making it over if I just wanted it fixed up. I paid over $50 for us to enjoy. Enjoy the food that you blessed to cook us with. But you’re not even blessing us truly. You just want our money, you don’t want our company and you don’t want our love. You just want your money and for us to get out of your face. My 3 yr old screamed it burns and instead of making it right, you told me to give my drink to a friend you dk, you didn’t care 💔 and to pay for a next one. I don’t understand. I’m all for accountability. Just please explain yourself to not just me but everyone else. What have I done so wrong?

Go in there with a microphone because the music is so loud and they are talking to each other and get your order WRONG !!!! Then have a attitude about it the tall slim guy and yes everything went up but at least list the new prices !! Don’t go her often but definitely won’t at all now waste of money!!

I ordered whole chicken, restaurant gave me all dark meat. Since when whole chicken has 4 legs? I ordered through seamless and it didn't give me the option white or dark. Either way I supposed to get the whole chicken with 2 legs, breasts, thighs and wings. When I called to tell them, the lady was rude. I will report them to seamless. not ordering from this place again.

Dated visited 08/06/2019 08:54am. This place is a rip off. I asked for a medium smoothie with water, banana, mango, strawberry the price listed was $3.79. I asked the gentleman if he can kindly add protein and a additional scoop of it total of 2 scoops. He made no such mention of it cost money for the protein. I go to the register, the lady charged me $1.79 EACH SCOOP OF PROTEIN, when it wasn’t even mentioned to me. Guess what I ended up paying $9.12 for damn medium smoothies with a water which is $1.00. I really felt I was taken advantage of. Never again going back. I’m sorry I went there. Customer service is extremely poor as well. No communication with customer nor each other. They start to punch random numbers to charge you.

The male employees in here have nasty attitudes. I've eaten there three times and will never again. Two times the bowl was not even full, a little bit of food for the amount I could pay at chipotle. The rice was hard the first time and the beef was nasty. The second time the girl made my food and it was decent. Today, I went in and the male employee was putting half spoonfuls of food, so I asked for more, and he got an attitude, so I walked out and didn't pay for anything. I won't give my hard earned money to a nasty business. It's a cheap version of chipotle for the same price. Chipotle is opening in December around the corner near the Popeyes. This so called restaurant will lose A LOT of money, or THEY'LL BE OUT OF BUSINESS SOON!!!!

i would give 0 starts if i could. I spent 41 dollars on 3 things and 2 drinks. The food portions were small and tasteless. worst 41 dollars spent on my life. i would rather go to applebee’s with the same amount of money

I ordered a pastrami hero, the meat was gray I told the waiter the meat looked spoiled, that pastrami should have a red color, she said it was fresh I decided to eat in, when I opened the sandwich you could smell the meat was spoiled. So I asked for the money to be put back on my bank card, so she takes my card, and I asked for a receipt, she then tells me she doesn't know how to put the money back on my card I'm the boss is not there Calling my bank right now to put stop payment I am very dissatisfied

I was walking through the rain today coming from class and I was extreamly hungry. I entered this place and ask the lady for an eggs and meat sandwhich. This lady looked at me with a disgusting look and refused to take my order. I just looked at her and left the restaurant. Later on I had to stop by McDonalds just to snack on something. Never stepping foot back in this restaurant again.

I unfortunately purchased a turkey sandwich from this restaurant. It was a processed flaccid meat-like substance. They also put three of these meat-like slice on an entire hero. Ridiculous. I unfortunately bit into this sandwich - so gross. I had to throw it away.

I ordered a salad ask for the dressing on the side they put it on the salad. When I call to let them know of the mistake, the person on the phone gave me an attitude telling me I didn’t tell him that on another note he put Cesar dressing when I asked for French dressing. Never got an apology just an attitude. I always order my salad there but that order would be my last.

Never again will I ever order food here. They're a 15 minute walk from my house but yet delivery takes an hour and a half to 2 hours. They're a joke. This is my 2nd and last experience with them.

I came in and was the only one in the line besides somebody at the register already ordered and was waiting. The workers were not ready yet but it took them a while to make a smoothie for the previous customer. I waited for 15 minutes and other people came in so there was a line now. A Hispanic guy walked in, skipped the line and started speaking Spanish with them. They started preparing his order and he got it quickly despite me waiting for over 20 minutes now. After that, they still ignored me. I'm sure they would have acknowledged me if I wasn't a black woman.

Usually I would give this place a 3 starts but today they will get 1 stars. I have been here a few time for lunch and it has always been good with good service. However, today I was interesting. I wanted to get chicken only. I ask the women if I can get a small container with only chicken. She politely said yes. I then asked how much would that cost me. She said $5. I thought great because I wanted to add it to my lunch that i brought from home. When i got back to the office I figure that there would have been maybe 2 legs and a thigh or 2 leg and a wing. instead I open the box and saw that there was one leg in the box. To my disbelief this woman charged me $5 for a freaking leg. That is straight madness. not even the jerk spot would sell you a leg for $5. Never again. I felt like they scared me. If I had known that I would have not bought it. It would have made sense it the woman said a small is 1 leg for $5. Give the customers a choice to buy. Don't tell them it is a small and then put one leg in a container.

I have always come to Ovis about 2/3 times a week for a salad, after today I will not be returning. One of the girls making my salad got an attitude with me because she was rushing my order. Meanwhile everyone before and after me was given un divided attention to order their food. My salad girl sucked her teeth at me, then proceeded to tell me how I should order my food ? ( lettuce, dressing, cranberries, chicken ) like that’s hard. I walked out of there crying from embarrassment and how rude I was spoken to from a business I FREQUENT. If you want good service let one of the men take your order.

When I went in there to order My mail they didn’t have one of the sides I wanted so I left. I came back and I just got the chicken originally my meal was supposed to be to stay, but she gave me the chicken to go. As I proceed to open the container with my chicken in it, the chicken she gave me was so burnt and dry. I feel like she did it on purpose cause she thought I wasn’t going to stay and because I changed my mind the first time About wanting to purchase the meal. Before I even decided to order my food, I went to look at the baked chicken And I didn’t see no burnt chicken all the chicken was nice brown. I didn’t see that one burnt chicken inside so that means she purposely searched and make sure I got that burnt chicken. I should’ve took a picture instead. I was mad. I gave them the food and I got my money back. As I proceeded to walk to receive my refund, she’s seen that I got up and she tried not to make any eye contact. Never again If you don’t like your job, go work somewhere else.
