Delicious lunch special ramen 🍜, with pork dumplings. Worth trying their food. Very cute restaurant to hangout with friends. Very kind serves. 🙂↔️
Wonderful place to grab lunch with a friend! The food came out quickly, hot and clearly made to order, and the prices were really incredible for NYC. Staff are really kind and attentive. I'll be back when I'm in the area
Tried curry ramen for the first time and it’s very good!! The broth is about right, it’s not too sweet or salty and the noodles’ texture is perfect too. i just wish that they have Chicken options too as most of the menu are pork. The soup dumplings are good too!! I’m sure I’ll visit again.
We visited Ramen Thupka and were very pleased! 🍜 The food was incredibly delicious, with generous and filling portions. The place was clean and cozy, making it very enjoyable. ✨ Definitely worth coming back again!
This ramen spot was absolutely amazing — every single ramen we ordered was delicious. The noodles were excellent quality: great texture, great flavor, and honestly everything we tried was outstanding. You can tell they take their ramen seriously. It completely lived up to the hype we saw on Google Reviews, and now I understand why it’s so highly rated — it truly deserves it. Service was also exceptional. Our server was incredible and had an impressive memory. My friends were visiting from out of town, and they’re not used to the NYC style of ordering (where you’re expected to know exactly what you want as soon as the server comes over). He was extremely patient, explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions, helped us confirm everyone’s order, and made sure we got everything quickly — especially because my husband requested fast service since we were heading to a basketball game that was starting soon. The restaurant was very clean, and even though it was busy, it’s clear the staff knows how to manage the flow of guests efficiently. I’m a total ramen addict, and I will definitely be coming back any chance I get. Highly recommended!
I was craving something warm on a cold, windy day, and this place hit the spot perfectly. If you’re craving comforting, soul-satisfying food, this is definitely a go-to. We ordered the thukpa and veg ramen with wonton chili oil — both were superbly delicious, soothing, and incredibly comforting. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the portion sizes were generous enough for a complete one-pot meal. The green tea was exactly what I needed to end my lunch — light, flavorful, and very refreshing. The ambience was cozy and calm, not noisy at all, even though the place was completely packed that day. The service was excellent and attentive throughout. Highly recommend this as a must-stop place in Brooklyn.
Frankly, I don’t know enough about ramens so take this review with a bit more grain of salt the you usually would. The food, price and service are all checked for this place. And that’s all a foodie needs and wants. The Tantanmen Ramen with Chicken was fab. The Laksa Curry was good too. The standout for me was the service. The servers were very sweet, and accommodating to all my taste preferences. They made it a great experience. The ambience and vibe is lovely too.
AMAZING!!!!! Service and Food were excellent. He was patient with us as this was our first experience. Explained the menu down to our likings, respected food allergies, and didn't even need a pen n pad to remember our personalized orders. 10/10 recommend, WILL BE going back. I forget the gentleman's name who served us, but he also created the mural on the wall as you walk in. Beautiful soul of a man. Our dishes were as follows: Tantankamen Ramen, Spicy Miso Ramen and Shrimp Chow Mein. Pork and Crab Soup Dumplings, Crab Rangoon and Aloo Momo. We also had Thai Iced Teas.
I love this restaurant and have been regularly going for almost a year now. First, this is a Tibetan restaurant first and Japanese second. The namesake ramen dishes here are not bad at all, but I'd highly recommend any and all Tibetan/Himalayan dishes on the menu. The then thuk, momo, stir fry chow mein, laksa, are all amazing. The servers here are also incredibly friendly and efficient. You also get a great meal for your buck here, making it an easy choice for a quick and easy weekday dinner.
Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Ramen Thupka. We got the pork soup dumplings and the Then-Thuk, a spicy Tibetan soup with hand pulled noodles and ground pork / veggies. Everything was excellent and the soup was quite spicy (as requested). The portions are surprisingly large and extremely good value for the cost. Highly recommend and look forward to returning to try some of the other dishes as everything I saw others eating looked tasty as well!
Food was delicious, portions are generous. Their dumplings are homemade - dough is very tender. I didn’t see two that would look the same. Green tea is also great. I don’t usually like green tea, but theirs was somehow different - like it wasn’t burnt or overcooked (I don’t know that much about teas - it was just really good). Service is impeccable. Staff is very nice, polite and professional. Instantly added to favorites. Definitely will be back.
Got take out, the food came right on time. The ramen is outstanding! The broth is hearty, flavorful, not as spicy as I thought spicy ramen would be. The noodles were cooked perfectly, as was the egg. The veggies were fresh. The aloo momo was a bit bland. Looking forward to trying more dishes from here!
The atmosphere is beautiful, the service is impeccable and the food, which I ate so quickly I forgot to take a picture of was CHEFS KISS. It was my first time dining in and my last and I have zero complaints. Go there now for the lunch special or dinner. Our server Donzen was PHENOMENAL
This spot never disappoints! Definitely get the udon dry noodles and the momos, they’re fantastic. Don’t skip the ramen either. My personal favorite is the then thuk noodles, with a rich and flavorful sauce base. The staff is super friendly and always willing to give great recommendations. Everything is made fresh to order, and I love the open kitchen where you can watch them cooking in the back. Always a great experience here!
This place I have to say is a gem, the ambiance of the restaurant felt homey and intimate which I loved. The service was great and the waiter was very attentive. The food was very delicious I ordered the Shio Ramen and my best friend got the Stir Fried Ramen we also ordered the beef dumplings which were phenomenal. Everything was cooked just right and we enjoyed every minute. This is definitely a place I will be visiting again
A welcome addition to the neighborhood, we love having a place like this on this stretch of Atlantic. Calm ambience inside, but very spacious! Very nice service, prompt, and clean and cute inside. We enjoyed our noodles in particular the thenthuk with pork. Massive noodle portions - we were stuffed! The beef momos maybe aren’t quite what you can get in Jackson Heights but hits the spot without the long trip out. Looking forward to a return trip to try the other ramens on the menu!
My friends and I went there during lunch time on Wednesday. We were seated right away with no reservations. We ordered 2 miso ramen, 2 dry noodles from the lunch menu. They have good appetizer menu. I do not recommend the spring rolls, they were just dry and fried flour. The dumplings and the edamame were wonderful, def go for the dumplings! The ramens were pretty decent with good amount of flavor.
Waited 45 minutes in line just to get skipped for the party behind us. What’s the point of having a waitlist if you’re not going to follow it? No explanation from that server with the ponytail, no apology just rude attitude, like it was our fault for being a smaller party. The ramen was okay, but the service was terrible. We won’t be back. There are plenty of other ramen spots that actually know how to treat customers politely. The other server was atleast nice but the other one is feeling entitled. He could have handled the situation so much better than he did. A simple explanation or basic courtesy would have gone a long way. Customer service is the backbone of every food business other than the quality of food.
