The service was pleasant attentive and friendly, the space was warm and inviting, and the food was especially good. The fish was fresh, the portions generous, and the price is fair. Everything tasted great and high-quality. The owner walked the floor making sure everything was in order, and it certainly shows. They could do a Masterclass on how to have a welcoming high-quality restaurant. This was my second time here, and I felt compelled to write this glowing review. My daughter was also very impressed with the presentation which was artistic and fun. This will be my go to place for sushi. After having gone several more times since initial review, both the sushi and the service have been consistently excellent!

I’ve been coming to Sapporo for 6 years, both take out and eat in. It’s my favorite sushi spot in Bay Ridge. The sushi is fresh, never delayed longer than estimated and I am always greeted with a smile from the staff. I’ve been to sushi spots throughout the city, but always circle back to Sapporo for the sushi that tastes like home 😊.

Stopped by on a Friday night for a casual dinner with my husband, and we had a fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated right away. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal. We started with miso soups and the Kani salad—both fresh and flavorful. For rolls, we ordered the Snow White and Spicy Girl. While both were delicious, I can’t stop thinking about the Spicy Girl roll—it was absolutely perfect, with amazing texture, bold flavor, and beautiful presentation. For entrées, we had the Chicken Yakisoba and Fish Katsu, both cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and the overall experience was top-notch. This is definitely my new go-to sushi spot in Bay Ridge!

The Japanese restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. I ordered two dinner boxes for takeout. The first box was Yakisoba with shrimp. These were thin soba noodles with assorted vegetables. It includes a choice of shrimp and vegetable tempura or gyoza, miso soup and a California roll. The second box was the sashimi which consisted of 9 pieces of fish with the same options. This also included white rice. The food was fresh, generous portions and priced well. Currently, customers who spend $37 before tax receive a free California roll. Customers who spend $52 before tax receive a free Brooklyn roll which is a special roll. The restaurant is clean and the woman managing it very polite and helpful.

Been going here for years they have the best food and service! Truly out of this world how much they care about their customers. The owner is wonderful!!! and everyone who works there is so kind. Such delicious and fresh sushi, we drive 30 minutes to this place sometimes because it just hits the spot. The creamy oreo is our favorite definitely give it a try. And presentation is always so beautiful!

First of all you get a nice warm welcoming from the lady and then you enjoy the delicious sushi that was made with love in the Japanese atmosphere 🌸. What make this sushi spot different than other sushi places is the amount of fish they use and the small amount of rice in the roll. I recommend the Sapporo, blossom and the eel roll from the special rolls.
