Amazing food! Great team . Always on time for delivery! Quality and consistency! Highly recommended! Elena
Wow. A new restaurant that we will definitely be back. Food delicious, service great, prices amazing. Calamari is to die for, the stuffed tomatoes were soo delicious, please order the meatballs. The souvlaki was little dry because of the meat they use,was very lean. We had great experience. 10$ corkage for your own bottle of wine. Thank you, somethinggreek, we will be back!
Took my family here for lunch and was seated in the outdoor dining area in the back. The vibe was very serene and peaceful and it was pleasant to watch little birds occasionally land on the open roof and sing to us. The food was absolutely delicious we all ordered a standard Greek dish like gyro or souvlaki but everything was perfect. The baklava although delicious is excessively sweet and syrupy so it can be hit or miss depending on your tolerance, I found it delicious but some of my party were overwhelmed.
A wonderful Greek gem in bay ridge! Fitted in a beautifully decorated interior & sporting an outside patio that I need to check out on my next visit, this place serves affordable and delicious Greek food. The triple dip platter had generous portions and 3 delicious dip options. The fried calamari was fresh, crispy with an outrageously delcious marinara. The mixed platter (gyro, slouvaki, some sausage thing) was tender, fresh and generously portioned. Definitely get their lemon potato’s on the side!
I stopped by today because I wanted to try something new and this place is truly something else. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Platter and it came out fresh, juicy and delicious. The waitstaff was very polite and they keep this charming little place immaculately clean. I will definitely come back again in the future!
Something Greek's Signature Salad is the best salad in Bay Ridge. We order it at least twice a month with gyro chicken...speaking of gyros, their chicken and lamb gyros are delicious as is their fried calamari, hummus and warm pita with tzatziki. I've also had their lamb burger. Really, you can't go wrong.
The Greek restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They have an additional location at 7724 13th Avenue in Brooklyn. I ordered the avgolemono soup which consisted of chicken and rice in lemon and egg broth. The soup was not thick and had little chicken. The spanakopita is a spinach pie with feta cheese and herbs baked in a phyllo dough. It was a nice size and tasty. The keftedakia are hand-rolled Greek-style meatballs. The order had 10 mini-meatballs that were the size of a child's marble. The Greek-style pork gyro platter has a choice of French fries or rice, a small house salad, pita bread and tzatziki. I chose French fries but the order had rice. Friendly staff and quick service.
Food quality has gone down. I order from here a lot and my last two orders were not that great. The salad came soggy, the Tzatziki was watered down and had the consistency of mayo. The Loukaniko was not the regular sausage but almost like an Italian sausage. The only thing that was consistent was the Elies Kia Tiria appetizer. Very disappointing that my go to Greek spot has gone in quality. I guess i'll have to shop around for a new spot.
Somethingreek is something you should try if you ever drive down to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. From the moment you walk in the first thing you will notice is the beautiful interior decor of the restaurant. From the walls to the ceiling and the arrangement of the tables. One of the main reasons I wanted to go in was because of course I wanted to try the food but because I like the interior design of the restaurant. This is the perfect spot to take good pics of your food with a nice background. You can say this spot is IG ready. However the food isn't the healthiest food around Bay Ridge. I wouldn't say the food was exceptional. I wasn't impressed with the food, it was average. The service wasn't amazing and that was a bit of a let down. Parking wasn't great. But there's meter parking available. I would still recommend the restaurant but I probably wouldn't go back anytime soon. Overall Somethingreek is just another average restaurant with a lot of potential.
Food is good but bad customer service, not first time they treated me bad, I am regular customer, ordered dinner to go 2 salmon with rice, I was going from the gym didn’t have my valet, but wanted to pay with Apple Pay, their credit card reading device didn’t work, this happened second time in 2 months, they said food will be ready in 20 min, I arrived and waited 30 more minutes just to be told my Apple Pay not working, I said is not possible, I got them digital card, they entered 5 times still didn’t work, they made a seem like I’m faking payments, another costumer behind me said they did same for her too few weeks ago that’s why she brings now physical card all the time. After 1 hour of this payment drama I didn’t get dinner, they didn’t even apologize saying on my end is not working. I ended up ordering in Bensonhurst driving there and paying with apple pay there.
Just got delivery today, was craving a Greek salad after a heavy holiday meal. While the salad was beautifully presented and a generous portion - there was no dressing, not even a drizzle of olive oil.. that's not horiatiki is typically served. Kinda disappointed and not planning on re-ordering from here sadly.
We ordered Wednesday special shrimp dish, $17. It was a very large plate, with massive portion of rice and 5 (!!!) small shrimps. Returned the dish. And that is on top of the fact that we waited for the dish for over 30 min. Disappointed.
Decent food, bad customer service. The price they advertise is never correct and had my final straw. $9.95 lunch special is advertised, $15.25 when I go to pick it up. Was told over the phone all sides are included, yet I picked salad and now it’s an up charge. This salad look like it’s worth an up charge? Never eating there again. Too many good Greek places in Bay Ridge to come back here again.
Hi, I went to Something Greek two days ago for lunch and it was a terrible experience. I ordered a Greek salad, but what they served was basically just a pile of tomatoes with a tiny amount of feta cheese and only three olives. On top of that, the Greek fries were completely undercooked and unacceptable. I would not recommend it at all!!!
