It's a new establishment in the area. Its very clean and the hostess was friendly. I order the lunch salmon bento box with salad and side miso soup. I very picky with miso soup because it can be salty. It was just right..I enjoyed it. The salmon was tasty and well cooked. The saladwas seved fresh. I will definitely to going back, they have these private booths for a more intimate experience!

I've been to Tenzan for many years. This is one of those restaurants I would recommend 10/10. Update 10/16/24. Linda took care of my table and was friendly as always. Good to see you again and until next time.

Teriyaki dinner is so good. It includes California roll, tempura vegetables, white rice. So much food. Rock shrimp are a favorite. Staff is always so nice. Take out and dine in always great experience.

Can’t give this place enough compliments! Their staff is so polite and welcoming, and the food was fantastic. Everything tasted so fresh and high quality. They really pay attention to the details here because even the napkins were super high quality and luxurious. We had the option of a table or sitting in one of the private little rooms so we tried the room and it was great. Super cozy and private, and you have to take your shoes off to sit down inside so it feels very clean as well. I just felt bad for the servers because it didn’t seem easy or convenient for them to bring or take our plates/cups. The portions are very generous and we had plenty to eat + enough leftovers to take home. And we typically eat a lot! So worth braving the cold for this and I will absolutely return many more times in the future. Highly recommend!

One of the best Sushi restaurant in neighborhood. The food is always freshly made, very delicious and it’s not an expensive. Today i tried fried calamari sushi for the first time and it was amazing! Just take it in consideration that they are charging 3.5% if you pay by card

My wife and I dined here yesterday and had an excellent experience. We enjoyed a private room with soothing music, and every Asian dish was fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend for sushi and sashimi enthusiasts!

Food is good and decor is nice. Has several private rooms and upstairs. Down side is they charge you 3.99% for using credit card so bring cash unless your cc has higher cash back.

Like the food here. Sushi is decently fresh. Customer service is great. Parking nearby can be tough being that it is bensonhurst. Food again is good. There's a nice variety. Sake here isn't bad. Lots of tables. Quick service the foods come out quick. I like it overall for what they serve and for the location.

The place was good. The workers were very friendly and would come over sometimes to start a conversation with me and my sister. We got the tempura appetizer, seafood udon, and pork katsu. Overall, they were all really good. I wasn’t that hungry so I sadly wasn’t able to finish my food but they let me pack it and take it home. The tempura was a tad bit too oily for my taste though which knocks the food rating down a bit but still tasted really good (I forgot to take the picture of the tempura before eating but I still put it up cause why not). Also, the miso soup that came with our food was so good as well! Edit: Okay… I have the worse stomach ache now. Might have been the tempura considering how I haven’t eaten anything except this meal today.

I have been a customer for over 5 years and this never happened for my past order. Ordered a sushi and sashimi for 2 and this existed on one slice of the salmon. Not sure what it was, so I decided to pick it up and to take a closer shot, unfortunately it fell apart.

I dont get the high reviews. The meal is mediocre for $80. You can get for better at 86 street. They have scraps for my sashimi deluxe. The lady tried to upsell us with uni sushi. We had the impression of $7 per serving (2 pieces usually), but it turns out to be $14. The uni is meh and with a lot of rice, which is also dried. 4% fee for credit card. This place is a scam
