This is the kind of meal that has you still dreaming about it the next day. I had been hearing great things about @onefishrawbar and @cheftrent1 and now I understand the hype. 🤯 I ordered the Loch Duart Salmon with Salsa Macha, Green Apple Pacific Gold Reserve Oyster with Makrut Lime, Kiwi Short Rib Bao Bun with Kabiyaki, Pickles The One Fish Chowder and Blue Fin Tuna Tori (not pictured) was incredible. It’s one of those rare places where *every single bite* is umami, flavor-packed and totally craveable. 10/10 will return again and again
Food was incredible and beautifully plated. Josh was a great host and server! Thanks for having the patience to deal with my dad's ramblings. We visited on a quiet night. Not sure if its the usual ambiance but my dad and I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere.
I don’t know what’s better - the food or the service. PHENOMENAL menu executed perfectly and changes frequently. The sake list is exquisitely unique and changed the way I think about sake. Everything is plated beautifully and it’s hard to pick a favorite dish. Cannot recommend One Fish more highly.
Came for the first time. Amazing experience. Food was beautiful presented and tasted amazing! My fav was the "one fish, two fish" and the Himachi with chorizo and poblano! The cheesecake is to die for! Sake was impeccable! Thank you for the wonderful time! I hope to be back soon!
Hands-down, One Fish Raw Bar is one of the best local restaurants I have eaten at in a long time. Every dish we had hit the flavor out of the park one-by-one without disappointment. Everything is fresh and top-quality. My absolute favorite was their One Fish Chowder. The layers within that chowder blew my mind. It had a smokey flavor that was created without the use of bacon like so many restaurants turn to now-a-days. This was a pleasant and appreciated surprise as I do not eat pork. (I am still dreaming about and drooling over this dish!) The restaurant is on the small side, but it is clean, fresh, and brings a welcoming atmosphere. The servers are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. We will definitely be back and I have already recommend family to check it out. 🙌

I would highly recommend the 5 course family style meal, it takes you through a great variety of foods that are all delicious. There are dishes that will surprise you, awe you, and give you a sense of fun, all the while being extremely tasty of course. The hospitality is also top tier, it's clear that the staff care about making sure you enjoy your time there. Each time I have been (which isn't nearly enough times since I found out about One Fish) I have always had a wonderful experience. This spot is an absolute treasure — fresh, pop of deliciousness, inventive, and beautifully executed from start to finish. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and welcoming vibes, especially from Josh. Its an intimate, upscale vibe that still feels relaxed. The staff or even the cooks are super knowledgeable, passionate about what they do, and happy to walk you through the menu if it’s your first time. Tip: Do not skip the cornbread. It’s truly next level — warm, buttery, perfectly crisp on the edges and somehow still light and moist on the inside. Easily the best cornbread I’ve had anywhere so far. The clam chowder is another must try: rich, creamy, and brimming with hella flavor — a comforting bowl of perfection that somehow still feels elevated. It rivals Hog Oyster Island’s Clam Chowder in Ferry Building SF! Chef Ederlyn is so creative in merging many tastes into one dish. Come through here and you wont regret it. Super 10/10 🔥 in your taste buds.

Such a cute little spot with delicious seafood! Every dish was unique and beautifully presented, but the real standouts were the miso cod and the blue prawns. The cod was perfectly seasoned with a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness unlike any cooked fish I’ve ever had before. The prawns were incredibly succulent with an aromatic curry flavor. Overall, the food was excellent! The only miss for me was the oysters — they had a noticeably fishy aftertaste and didn’t seem particularly fresh. I also wasn’t a fan of the sweet prickly pear sauce they were served with. However, all the other dishes were so delicious that it’s still 5 stars from me.

I have dined with Trent, Josh, and Edalyn for the past two years. Every experience I had was creative, unique, and representative of the seasons. One Fish maintains a high bar of quality and consistency, and I still believe the team behind it is still getting better. If you want to open your palette to new sensations, push the boundaries of flavors, or just share a meal that you’ll think about for the years to come with the most special people in your life, One Fish is the perfect place to be. Other reviews highlight some impeccable dishes, but I can truly say that everything is worth trying. Let them cook!

I recently went to One Fish Raw Bar to celebrate an engagement. We had a sake pairing with our family style meal, every sake was delicious and harmoniously paired with each dish. Josh is incredibly knowledgeable and provided us with stellar service. One Fish Raw Bar is the perfect place to celebrate such a momentous occasion, we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend One Fish Raw Bar to anyone who wants a unique and delicious experience in the South Bay. 5/5 stars.
My husband and I had the 11 course tasting meal for our anniversary and it was amazing! Josh was our server and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He went above and beyond to make us happy and even gave us complimentary champagne when we heard it was our anniversary. We ended up staying late after close and we apologized but he was so polite and nice about it and never rushed us. He even typed out a menu for us upon request. HIGHLY recommend celebrating and splurging here to try new ocean cuisine. Every dish was so pleasing and fun. Thank you One Fish Raw Bar!! 😁 We will be back.
We had an amazing experience here! We tried 2 raw dishes, the dumplings, cornbread and short rib. It was a perfect amount of food for two. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable and the space is lovely. Standouts were the cornbread and kampachi, which was very mild but the texture was so on point. The only thing I didn’t like was the pacing. The dishes came out too quickly and too close together - I wish it was more spaced out. We will definitely come back to try more off the menu!
I had the most delightful dinner at One Fish Raw Bar. The 11-course tasting menu transported me around the world with the most delicious and unique flavors pairings. The freshness and texture of the fish cannot be beat and the warm, attentive service made it a very special evening. I cannot wait to treat myself again next time I am in the South Bay!
It’s not cheap but it is worth every penny. Rarely do I enjoy food that when I get (an expensive) bill I say worth it! Josh made us feel like we were at a TV show of chefs explaining in detail each dish and of course the sake from check-in to the journey through the food, never disappointed. Josh even made me a deal. Try the sea trout. If you don’t love it I won’t charge you and I’ll eat the rest. I would have normally declined but went with it. Fantastic Oysters, raw are all the best

This place popped up on Chase Dining (10x points if reserved through Chase card website) so decided to pay a visit - and what a pleasant surprise! Very happy to find an owner chef restaurant with great passion for outstanding foods and exquisite sakes. We went for 5-course family style with sake pairing and every step was impressive. I have had scallops before but nothing like this, and little bites with trout roe, carrots with spicy sauce across (family recipe of sous chef), mushroom ravioli were all made with fresh ingredients and tasted great. The rare selections of sake pairing enhanced the flavor and cleared the pallet, making every bite fresh. And the corn bread with smoked trout roe on it - this was out of the world. We are already planning a revisit to try out the 11-course tasting menu (which was sold out for today’s dinner).

My husband and I got the omakase ($125 each) and we were both very impressed. We particularly liked the salmon and oyster in the raw course, the fish cheek, and the dessert. This place was better than many of the Michelin star restaurants we've eaten at and I really hope they get the recognition they deserve. Highly recommend!
Absolutely stellar. I went with my wife and we both felt compelled to leave reviews. This was the sort of food I would expect in SF, not tucked away in the suburbs. Started with sashimi (featured a number of picante salsas) worked up to shortrib. The staples (chowder & cornbread with roe sauce) were reliably decadent. The fish collars with bao were a surprise hit - definitely a bbq-like experience. A small amount of very early local crab. Dessert was candy cap custard - they foraged the mushrooms in the Santa Cruz mountains. Can't recommend enough as a date night spot. My only comment is that I wish they would print paper menus; I'm not a fan of QR-code online menus.
OneFish is nothing short of outstanding. All the fish is extremely fresh and interestingly combined with other flavors. The chowder might have been the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone.

All raw fishes plates were overwhelmed by the strong spices and natural flavor of fish itself got under-toned and robbed. Desert of strawberries flan is literally caramel jello with crumble topping in a fancy small jar, flan texture is merely absent, maybe it hope to distract you with presentation so flavor could be ignored just like other courses I had? Service: server served me wrong dishes from neighbor guests; no table cleaning and reset before desert.
