This is one of the older Long John Silvers I frequent. Always great food at reasonable prices for fast food joint.
As far as Long John Silvers goes this is a pretty good location. Some of these people complaining in reviews don't get it. This is fast food fish, not a gourmet restaurant, that means basic interiors and food that has salt and fat. The food is good though and this location is pretty well run, food is generally hot and fresh, condiments available etc. The basic fried fish is the best thing to get, its what they do best. I've never seen the dining room closed either.

Today, the guy at the window Jessie was the nicest person I have ever encountered at this location. My previous experiences have been met with very rude people never giving me the condiments that I ask for and providing less than stellar service. But this guy deserves recognition something I wouldn’t normally bother doing for LJS. my food was hot and fresh.

The food is so good! I don't care what judgment I'll get. They're better than Cane's and Chick-fil-A any day! They season well, and it all has the crunch.

The manager on duty was named Kim, and she was professional, courteous, and made sure that everything I ordered was taken care of, you guys saved a 40+ year Long John silver's customer. Well done! For LJS Midway, Adison, it is as you know it to be. Golden fried fish but roughly $3.00 per each fillet now. Its cold water caught Cod, and it tastes þthe same now as it did some 40 years ago. Maybe a little less saltier.8 It is very expensive to go fast food . But at 2 times a year, I go there. I know in advance it's expensive. All FF prices have gone way up.
If they fix and order that was wrong it will be corrected,and maybe a special treat for you like extra food.
Thought this chain fell off their game a few years back. I gave them another shot and was very pleased. Great value and still consistent flavor.

I don't normally leave reviews and honestly has not been to LJS since childhood. I ordered the #10 Fish/Shrimp Platter, which was my favorite growing up and it did no disappoint. It was just as delicious as I remember. The food was hot and fresh and the service made it even better, which is the main reason for my review. The employee, which was a gentleman, I believe his name was Derrick, was super funny and friendly and was on point with taking my order and helping me navigate what I wanted to order, since it had been a while since I'd eaten here. He had a warm smile and was helpful, which in the days of fast food service, seems like a lost art. I just wanted to stop by and leave something positive in these days where most people are focused on being rude or negative.
No clue why they only have 3.8 stars probably the nicest fast food workers I’ve ever come across. LJS is on a rise!! Food was great too.

One of the best LJS I Have been to. I have eaten at this location since 89 or so . I have seen it good and gross both ! But on this day 2/13/26 around 3 pm they kicked ass!! Great job y'all . The young lady at the window was so pleasant I wish I would have got her name to brag on her
Food came out hot and fresh. Super hot, be careful if you dine in, burn your mouth if you can't wait like me. Cole slaw fresh dipped right out of the fridge to cool it off. Good sweet tea. Everything was excellent. They have vegetables and lots of choices now, not just fish or chicken planks, what I would consider healthier options, grilled fish, salmon, cod and shrimp. My mind was blown. Been looking for some place with at least basic vegetables and the green beans were old school, I ate most of my wife's. We will be going back again as this was the best Long John Silvers experience we have had in a long time. Hush puppies were perfect as was everything else. Everybody working there on Saturday Jan 31, 2026 around 2pm deserve a raise in pay. They were super busy and the food and service could not have been better. Ring that bell!
I give David and his entire crew a job well done! Judylynn had amazing customer service. And my husband and I both were treated very well from the time we walked in, sat down and left. We were greeted as soon as we entered and was checked on as we ate. To be real the service we received that day was that of a fancy restaurant. That blew my mind. I've never had this type of treatment at this type of restaurant. Our food was hot, fresh and delicious! Just can't eat here often. We're getting back in shape lol. 20 stars in our book not a 5!!!!
Not going to lie, LJS has long been one of my favorite places to eat. Adding vinegar to their fish is just heavenly, and their chicken and hushpuppies are delicious, too. Not as big a fan of the waffle-fries they've switched to, but they're still good. Food was prepared quickly and and the staff was friendly.
The staff is so friendly and fast! We return again and again. Tonight Jesse was stuck at the end of the night running out of hush puppy batter because demand was so high today. He went above and beyond to make it right as they ALWAYS do if there's a problem. He submitted what he had for the missing puppy order and was sweet when he explained the problem. He even wrote an apology on our box! Amazing job Jesse! Your staff are one of the main reasons we come back!
Came here today to pickup food i ordered online. Had a minor issue but no fault of staff. General manager and their team were awesome. Food was delicious. Will be returning.
The ONLY reason I’m giving this LJS 5 stars is because of a girl named Siobhan that works there that helped me on Friday. I have been living on this side of town for a long time and have come to this LJS quite a bit and the customer service has never been great but this girl was the best associate I have ever encountered at this location. She was very positive and happy, she seemed like she wanted to be at work. She had no issues helping me. THIS PLACE NEEDS MORE STAFF LIKE HER! I hope she stays awhile!
This place has really made a turn around. Fresh fish and grease at 9:30 pm. Management seems to be doing well. I had given up on this place years ago but whoever is in charge right now is doing excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my fish and coleslaw. The syrup on my drink was none existent but they quickly rectified the situation. I will be back in hopes that they maintain this great streak!
It has been a tradition in my family to order fish and hush puppies at Long John Silver's for Good Friday during Lent. We ordered online and got the Sea Share deal and ordered fish and hush puppies. Great service and so glad this location is not an attachment with another restaurant like a KFC. The fish was tasty and crispy.

Classic deep fried fishy goodness. This is fried fish fast food at its finest. Just. Pour on the malt vinegar and ask for extra crumbles and get some extra lemon for your iced tea. No. It’s not health food. Yes. It’s delicious. Try not to eat this all the time. But enjoy today. Go ahead. You’ve earned it.
I was craving fish and chips and this was the closest option. Let's be clear, it is cheap fast food. The fish didn't had too much flavor despite the batter, but it was eatable (especially if you were craving it), average fries and the hush puppies were good too. They were not finding my order and was just in front of them. They can use a bit more of empathy on the job. Till next cravings...
Came through drive thru Manager at the window was very nice. I believe his name was Derric. My waffle fries was fresh so was my fish nicely cooked in a timely manner would definitely be going back.
I've been passing by LJS for approximately a year and finally decided to stop in and see if it was as tasty as I remembered. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. The place was a little outdated but very very clean, they were mopping and wiping the drink area down while I was there. I ordered the 2 piece fish with fries and coleslaw. I received my food in about 7 minutes and it was piping hot and looked amazing. The 2 women working there were friendly courteous and a total vibe. Let's just say I inhaled the food which is why I don't have an actual picture. The fish drenched in malt vinegar with tarter and ketchup OMG, coleslaw sweet and vinegary and it's a must you mix the crunchies with your fries. I don't always eat like this but I truly enjoyed this cheat meal and highly recommend this location.
Great place to grab some fried seafood on a Friday. Stick with the basics, the fried fish and hushpuppies are without a doubt delicious. Can’t really recommend the crab cakes, they’re nothing special. The main issue with this location is the small parking lot and tight drive thru lane: when it is busy, it is difficult to get in and out.
GRUBHUB ORDER ON SATURDAY 2/072026. I was utterly surprised. 1st my daughter, likes their hush puppies. She chose them over Thai curry for a takeout 🥡. I wasn't expecting much, but once a yr to check quality, for my nostalgia reason. Well the food was hot & crispy not soggy! *The waffle fries were a nice change over soggy battered fries. Hush puppies were almost as good as mine. The chicken strips had a nice flavor also. Fish didn't strike me as a saltlick, still plenty salty. The honey mustard was like a nice dressing consistency. Might choose them again on a Saturday afternoon next month. Lol... have pics, but no option to load.
There was only two people working and the lady that took our order should not be in customer service, she was very rude and yelling at us when we asked questions. Food was a little too greasy but still tasted good. I will not be going back to this location, nobody deserves to be treated like that.
I ordered 2 of a meal, when I got to the window the young man had only rung up one. Another man went up to him and was telling him to ring up another one but he was cursing and being really rude to the cashier helping me. If this man was my supervisor and talking to me like that, I would have walked out. To whoever that was- treat your employees better. I understand you can be busy but don't let stress or a bad day make you talk to other people like that. I'm SURE the workers dint get paid enough to be in a hostile environment like that. Food was good.
I went early, not long after they opened. I'm pretty sure the fish I got was yesterday's leftovers, warmed up in the microwave. Food is usually good here. I'll go back, but never before noon.
Waited almost 35 min for fast food when we were one of only 2 people in the restaurant, and then the chicken was overcooked. Staff were very pleasant.
I came to the review section because of the meme floating around saying "is there a secret society keeping this place open.... I thought to myself that I hadn't seen one in over a decade, little did i know, there's one less than a mile from me for that long.... I've never eaten at one but have been in about 50 across the country back when I was younger and selling things on the road. I give 5 stars for the atmosphere because the reviews are entertaining and have brought me satisfaction. Everything else is one star alongside McD's. I can't believe people eat this stuff. I'd rather dine out at Dallas County Lew Sterrit

Both my husband and I ordered 5 piece chicken planks. The other couple we were with ordered after us but ordered fish. Their order came before ours. When we received our order both of us had 2 of the 5 chicken that tasted hot and fresh, the rest of the chicken planks were cold dry and rubbery. Very disappointing and VA I think we will drive farther next time for a better experience.
Homeboy with the dreads, and the jewelry on his dreads seemed hella annoyed. He wasn’t rude, but he was short with his answers and gave an annoyed look just because I was trying to order. The place was empty, and I was at the drive-through and when I pulled up, he just had this very annoyed look and when I said thank you he just closed the window no type of manners. He just really seemed like he hated his job. I hope his day gets better.
Been a while since I visited a Long John's. It turned out better than expected. I decided to try something not fried. They offered Salmon or Shrimp. Pretty good stuff. Grilled, seasoned over rice with 2 sides. I tried Waffle Fries and Slaw. Both were tasty. The service was helpful. I would return. 😋
Today the food was not as good or seemingly as fresh as usual. The fish and chicken were moist and tasted ok but we're more greasy than I usually get here. The rice was over cooked quite a bit but surprisingly I was ok with it. Not an unpleasant meal but not the experience I expect from multiple visits.
The customer service is indicative of how the inside of the restaurant looks, unkept and dirty. I waited 31 minutes just to receive my food while sitting with others in the parking lot. I will not be surprised if this location is closed within the next year or so. The 2 stars was due to the food actually being hot, other than that I would leave 1 star.
Higher prices, smaller portions. Terrible experience today. I got tiny pieces of fish, like kid sized and no batter crisps at all. Soggy, room temperature fries, barely edible. They didn't even have pepper. They brought my food, but forgot one of my sides. Didn't bring plasticware, I had to go to the counter twice. Once for the side, and again for a fork. The place is run down and dirty. The drink machine needs repair. It was squirting liquid not only from the nozzle, but also above the nozzle making a mess. I've eaten here in the past, but today was the worst ever. The only reason I did not ask for my money back, was because I was in a hurry and did not have time to stop somewhere else. This place has been consistently short-staffed for a while, and recently, they have had a lot of turnover of staff. I have liked Long John Silver's since I was a kid, but they have really gone downhill. Maybe that's why we don't see as many locations as there used to be.
I was Door Dashing but the customer ended up cancelling their order because the store was out of chicken for the platter. I don't think I would order from this store, especially since the atmosphere wasn't inviting at all. I wasn't even greeted as I walked up, the worker just stared at me until I spoke first and even then her response was really dry. Maybe it was just a bad night, but not good for a first impression.
The portions were very small for the high prices, and no condiments were included in my Uber Eats order.
Due to the customer service, I keep saying I’m never coming back here! But the fish is delicious and it’s the only location. Unfortunately though, this last time the service was lousy enough that I really don’t plan on coming back. I placed a pretty big order and checked it before I left. I was short 6 pieces of fish and I didn’t have any “crunchies” (I had specifically asked for some). The only 2 staff there were already walking out for a break—they had handed me my to-go bag and started walking off right after that. I caught them at the door and they did not hide their irritation at having to come back to complete my order. They gave me the missing 6 pieces of fish and said “there’s a shortage of crunchies” and walked off. I was walking out behind them and listening to them talk about how they had 2 hours left in their shift (it was 1:30 pm) and they just felt like walking off the job and how inconvenient customers are when they’re trying to take a break etc etc
I really had a taste for LJS and boy was I disappointed! Wanted to sit inside but the tables were all dirty and nasty! Then the cashier was not friendly at all until I was so nice to her she had no choice. Get to my car and idk why I didn’t take a pic but the food was trash mini shrimp that had been refried and were so hard I couldn’t bite them! Fish same taste old like it was just thrown back in the same old grease! I ate 2 hush puppies and threw the entire box away a total waste! Won’t be back 2/10 the best part was getting to taste the new Starryberry soda lol
Food was OK, but the guy wearing his pants down around his knees was pretty unprofessional, to say the least. Who wants to look at that while they're eating? What's worse is that after I said something to the manager on duty, nothing was done about it. After all, this guy was dressed this way right in front of this manager! On top of that, the guy was literally standing in the middle of the lobby holding a broom WHILE TEXTING!!! Just out of curiosity, I timed him. Between bathroom breaks, texting breaks, etc., he spend 18 minutes in the lobby on company time! Must be nice to have a job where they let you get away with all of this! I'm pretty sure long John Silver's has a uniform codes and policies that disallows all of this, but no one at this store (including management) cares! Therefore. I can't recommend this place (especiallyfor kids). I certainly won't be back!
Just left here, getting the salmon meal, guy taking order was rude. Always out of something, this time the Mac and cheese. My salmon was on a bed of old hard rice. Smh, go to these places with our hard earned money, so they can get a paycheck and they will turn around and serve us anything. Such a slap in the face, never again.
Front counter girl is to interested in her phone, gave me attitude, and she kept slipping and dropping stuff with her velociraptor nails. Crap customer service gets old. The young man at the front counter guy was cool, and the cook did his job well. If you like your fish extra crispy like I do, DO NOT say extra crispy at this location. It’s perfect as is.
I bought 2 Fish and shrimp. This was the worst meal the only part that was edible was the coleslaw. The fish and shrimp was obviously reheated, which made them tough and dry. I called to complain the guy who answered said they would remake my meal. I drove out of my way and passed Golden Chick who has wonderful Fish and cooks it to order. I wasted my time and money. I stopped eating at this location years ago but thought I'd give them another try. This was disgusting!
I went through the drive through and ordered a fish and shrimp combo. Went on my way - when I got to the office, there were no shrimp. Not one. I called to ask for a credit for the missing food. They said they "couldn't" do that. But, they said, if I'd drive the 13 miles I'd driven, they'd make it right. Most disappointing.
The place was not very clean. It had bad odor. The furniture was old and had stains. The bench was torn. The shrimps were loaded with salt. The fish was very oily and not fresh. We complained about the food and the employees said they cannot do anything about it, that's how it comes from the company. They refused to refund our money. Would not visit again
Dine in….. 4:15pm. Waited 30 minutes for my fish and more. I didn’t want to say anything just in case they would spit in my food. No self service drinks but yet the floor was all wet and no “Caution” sign up and yes I did slip. The lady taking orders was very slow for dine in customers. Drive thru we’re getting orders in a timely manner. And the lady wasn’t friendly.
Food was gross and the tartar sauce was not the same I think they but the cheap bottles and fill up little containers. It didn't even feel like tarter sauce more like mayo
I had a delivery order on 3-20-23. My order was incomplete my receipt was correct. So obviously employees don’t know how to read or just don’t care. We we’re missing two orders of cold slaw. Also condiments we’re missing. On the receipt we had requested tartar sauce,malt vinegar and shrimp sauce. None of this was in the bag.Some of the food was warm some tasted old and cold. Very disappointed won’t be going here in person or order delivery again :(
Waited in the drive for what I thought was a freshly cooked meal. 10-15 minutes. Lady said there was no cocktail but tartar. She gave zero condiments in the bag. Food felt and tasted old. The hush puppies were not edible and the shrimp tasted like yesterday's batch. Food was cold and old. Nothing seemed fresh. So just curious what the wait was for. Service was rude and short. This is my fourth time going to this location and the only decent experience was the first time, wasn't great but okay, the other times were just horrible!! Always use the drive thru and all three times just sit at drive thru waiting for someone to say something and do not get a hello please wait, nothing so, I drive up to the window and the second and third time they say "oh we're short staffed" but no one in the lobby. This time today the girl says "oh her headset didn't go off". I go there because I love the cheese curds but no more!!! They need to learn compassion because their customer service skills suck!
Customer service is ok but food is often received wrong and or takes too long. The last time I went my food wasn't hot and tasted old/reheated. I also repeated my order twice and they still got it wrong. This is also after I waited 5 minutes to place my order and another 5 minutes just to receive my food and I was the only one in the Drive-Thru!
I haven't had Long John's Silver in years because there is not one close to where I live. So I decided to drive over to this location. I asked if I could please have fresh cooked fish and they said yes, 4 minutes my order was ready. I drive all the way back to work and the fish was so chewy and dry. I would have paid extra just to have fresh cooked fish. I ended up throwing the rest of my order away. Next time I will look for a different location.
So disappointed! NOT WORTH IT. The prices have gotten so high, and the fish are HALF the size they use to be. Sadly, I am not exaggerating. 2 pieces make up what 1 use to be. It is NOT worth it anymore. I use to love getting Long John's, but not wasting my money on this snack when I ordered a meal. AND THEY FORGOT MY HUSH PUPPIES! Never eating at Long John's again.
We were here in the evening and it was around 10 minutes until we got a response from the woman working the drive thru, and she didn't greet us, she SNAPPED at us, and continued to have a hateful attitude. The food was burned and not full/average portions compared to other locations.
Highly upset. Took forever to get my order. When I got to the window the young lady had the wrong order. Was speaking very rude to her co work about the order. I asked for tarter sauce to which she replied she put it in the bag with a sour tone.. when I got home no tarter sauce. She definitely needs crash course course on basic human interaction much less customer service. I would have gave less stars if I could. Just rude and a bad attitude for no reason at all.
I used to go to Long John Silver's when I was younger and always got really good food. This recent few trips I have made here were absolutely unacceptable. The service was sub par and my food was not good. The Salmon I ordered today was extremely dry. The fries were partly cold like they came out of the refrigerator and they were microwaved. The green beans tasted like a can. There wasn't much flavor. Anyway, I tried to call and sort this out but nobody answered. My only option at this point is to leave this review. I am not going to waste my gasoline to drive all the way back there in the rain and not be guarenteed that I will be reimbursed for my time, energy, and gas.
The potion size is definitely smaller on the fish and chicken pieces. Way too many sides. After I had to drive back to get the add on fish they didn't give me there wasn't any tarter sauce. I won't ever eat at a LJS again.
Ordered 2 meals with sides. Coleslaw was awful and the chicken looked like it was on a diet. Cashier acted like we were bothering him. Had to wait for our shrimp that they never dropped. Would definitely not recommend.
My fries were hard and old, fish must of sat in the grease. Not a happy customer.
This LJS use to be very good. Went today and won't be back. The food was very greasy, had no taste, very bad. Threw most of it in the trash. The diet Dr. Pepper tasted like Root Beer, threw it out too. The lady taking our order never smiled, obvious she was miserable. Ice machine was out of ice. Asked for lids for the kids drinks. Never got them.
I am a LJS fan! A huge fan actually. This location continues to let me down. Now that they have moved on from the A&W part of the store, I've expected more and better results. 1st time was a let down. Had to go back because my order was not complete. Missing chicken and got a tray of crumbs. Fries were soggy, greasy and cold. Once returning, my order was fresh and correct. But that means nothing when I have to go all the way back to the store from home.
Doors were locked at 8pm had to go thru drive thru and wait 10 minutes. Finally got our food and they gave me 2 green beens and no cole slaw. They also left out the shrimp. Wife got out of car kncked on door and girl sweeping ignored her at first then told her she would have to go thru dive thru again. Waited another 5 minutes for the worse meal we ever had. Food was dry and greasy. In top of that, the food seemed to have shrink lately. It was enough for 2-3 bites. We ended up throwing it all in the trash. LJS you used to be my go to place since I was a child but your customer service is sub par and your food sucks
Whole trip was bad from the jump💀 Ordered online at 6:51, gave them time to make it and pulled in the lot then went inside to ask for our food at 7:25, didnt leave with the food until 7:45, drove 15 minutes back home without one of the meals we ordered, drove back and told them we were missing a 2 piece CHICKEN meal, they came back out with a 2 piece FISH meal at 8:39. Was tired of it and hungry so just accepted defeat and left with the "missing" order that was still wrong as well as missing sides. Online ordered at 6:51 and wasn't able to stay at home and eat until about 8:50. Won't be visiting this location again.
The staff who work here short people their food. This has happened to me twice. They're always out of corn. Now they're out of cocktail sauce. They argue with you about the number of sauce cups they can give out. Most of us would pay for the extra sauces if you'd let us, instead of being argued with. The food they are serving is old. They're out of crumbs, which to me means that the fish is old that they're serving. I went in and another man said his chicken was so tough, he couldn't even bend it. After getting down the road with my order today, at a stop light, I discovered my food was shorted again for the 2nd time in 2 weeks, I have decided I won't be back to this store again. Really sad.
This location runs out of tartar sauce every single week! (not an exaggeration) please send them multiple boxes of sauce. It’s a fish place for crying out loud!!! Unacceptable! Especially for this to happen so often. My coworkers and I are tired of dry fish for lunch. We started storing packets in our desk expecting the restaurant to not have it. Do not write me a generic copy/paste reply without solutions. Just send tartar sauce to Carrollton!
Update: link "Owner" sent me Does not work, copy and pasted my review and sent it via the LJS website with no response. Went to location who denied knowing anything. Placed order online and when I got to the store the order had not been made yet, fine fresher the better right? Wrong, after waiting 15 min I got my order and when I got home (less than 10 min from store) the chicken was barely above room temperature and soggy all the way through,the fries were cold and a a stuck together congealed mass that I threw away most of, the hushpuppys were cold hard/burnt on the outside yet undercooked inside. The clams were the only thing good. Employees had a I don't care attitude, couple of tables needed cleaning however the drink station area was filthy floor and counter.
Don’t waste your time or money. The food is ALWAYS cold. No matter the time of day. They need to close this place down!! ASAP
This is about management: Me and my mom witnessed the manager talked to two employees very vulgar and rudely. When my mom went in to order food, the two employee had just showed up for work and instead of the manager pulling both employees to an office to discuss something instead she was talking to them towards the back but yet everyone could here what’s going on. She spoke with them very loudly and in the open to wear customers were hearing how she treated them and they walked out. Both employee were so frustrated and they walked out stated they were not dealing with this today and being disrespected. When we left it was only one man in the back frying food and a front counter girl. The way the were treated someone needs to contact corporate and get her fired because this is unacceptable.
Horrible experience I have had ever. First 2 workers off the clock sitting at front tables talking. 20 minutes passed and one of the off the clock workers took my order and told me the food would be fresh. All food was old. Oiled filled fries, fish, and chicken. The clams were over cooked. I did enjoyed the free med. drink.
Ordered a fish and shrimp platter, clams and popcorn shrimp. What I was given was a platter and clams. After waiting 10 minutes for my food, I had to show my receipt to get the popcorn shrimp. When I got my food home I discovered they had given me a chicken platter instead, and the fish and shrimp I had ordered. Last time I will visit this location!
The manager Alan is very rude to the employees and customers. Who wants to enjoy a meal somewhere when the environment is tainted by a miserable manager yelling at his own team members?
Placed order in store for takeout Charged me for 2 fish and 3 chicken and 2 sides Received ONLY 2 fish which I did NOT find out til got home ( 20min away) And they do NOT answer phone Main reason I went Inside store amd NOT drive thru is so they hopefully wouldn’t mess up order … still messed up order
Haven’t had this in a long time and thought we’d pop in for come guilty pleasure. Sadly, the Food was the worst I have ever has at any LJS after 50 years of eating at this restaurant in many different towns. Greasy with raw batter inside the fish and cold. The grease tasted old—fries were horrible. Basically threw the whole meal away and left. Employees were very nice but clearly incapable of following the instructions on how to cook the food. The Soda machine was broken and sprayed all over onto the floor and the lemonade tasted off. This location is not in good shape. I’ll probably never eat at a LJS again. So sad as I have great memories eating this with my grandad.
I went inside to order. While in line, the last customer comes back saying the chicken is hard like a rock. Should have been my first warning sign. But no, then a customer came up and said y'all forgot my shrimp and hush puppies. Still didn't leave. Get home for my order and not even what I order. I had shrimp and fish. But you see, it's messed up like everyone else's orders. Just bad here!
Oil was old you could taste it when you ate the food... The chicken was real greasy not good greasy but all over your hands greasy 🤢. My wife said the fish was over cooked with grease dripping off of it. The lady at the window must of just started or never worked a fast food before. Been years since I ate long John silvers and really was looking forward to eating it and I won't go back to any ever again it was that nasty. I love hush puppies and they were even nasty. Place needs closed down !!!!
I have always been a fan of long John Silvers, but I can see why so many of them are going out of business. The one in Carrollton Texas is a disgrace. The store is filthy the restrooms are filthy. Now let’s talk about the food. The shrimp were way overcooked the bad was dark dark orange, and the shrimp was rubbery. They had no tiger sauce and in the receptacle no ice in the coat machine. It was just an all-around bad experience. I will not be coming back.
Garbage Garbage Garbage!!!! Look at these ridiculously prepared hushpuppies (see the pictures). Anyone ever seen long john silvers hushpuppies that look like this? I ordered an 8 piece family meal & asked for everything to be cooked fresh. After waiting several minutes for fresh food, these are the hushpuppies that they gave me. While still in the store I opened the box & this is what I saw, so I showed the heavyset manager & he said "we just cooked them, they're fresh." I told him these awful looking things are hard as a rock & he asked "what do you want me to do, their fresh." WOW," I said to him & then I said I don't want any of this food & he said he can't refund my money because I used the long john silvers app, so we just threw the whole order into the dumpster. This place on Midway road has to be the worst managed restaurant in the dfw area. They continue to serve this type of garbage, & the powers that be do "ABSOLUTELY NOTHING" about it. I guess this is why they are struggling to stay afloat. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!
Please my friends, do not eat here. There is cross contamination at this location. There were molded shrimp in the walk-in cooler. They use the same batter for fish and chicken. Allen (AKRAM ARIDI) who is the general manager does not care. VIVEK RANA, does not care. I will ensure the health inspector is called due to this location's poor basic communication with customers and basic safety food safety. Disappointing, because it shouldn't take all of this. No one wants to fill out a feedback card just for it to be ignored. And no one wants to publicly post the unsafe worksfae happening behind the counter. Someone should listen because there are kids eating this stuff.
This place used to be good. Big portions and less pricey. Now they barely give you anything and I spent 32 on 2 plates that's crazy. The manager was not the greatest and deserves a talk from his upper hand. He treated gus workers very poorly. Never going back to this location at all.
This is the last time I tried this long John Silvers the fish is overcooked to the point that the crust is so hard you can’t eat it. The fries are old and you can’t chew them in the house. Puppies were so full of grease that when he took a bite that the grease dripped out of them. The guy that took my order. I had to tell him four times. It was real simple, real simple order man. This is what I’m talking about when it’s about customer service where is it and where is the quality of the food we’re paying for this is trash. I won’t be eating there again.
That lady at the window needed to be fired !! I went in my lunch break .. as i pull up i said give me one second .. mind you my car is loud so most of the time i need to be talking loud .. she got offendes because i told her give me one second .. she repeted in a sarcastic voice “ SHE SAID GIVE HER A SECONd NOW” Then i started placing my order and she was like “ nah pull up to the window “ So i go to the window she doesnt even greet me and she was like DONT BE YELLING AT ME LIKE THAT.. so i told her i wasnt yelling my car is loud i dont know if you can hear me .. she just ignore me and goes like what you want now? … WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SPECIALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF ADDISON .. she is rude . Has no manners and no ethiquettes on customer service .. i ended up leaving when i was going to place a big order
Now I know why this place has a 2.5 star rating! We ordered a family meal, came with 2 sides.requested coleslaw and fries. Brought it back home and guess what? Coleslaw was missing, fries were hard and stiff. The fish was fine. My husband was really looking forward to it. We live in Allen and just happen to be in that neighborhood in Dallas and decided to get it. Tried calling many times, no one answered. Disappointed! Please always check your order before leaving the place. Lesson learned!
Waited over 30 minutes for food. Manager said because we ordered shrimp. But people order the same dish we did with other meals and got their food in under 10 minutes. They had finished the food and left before we got our meals. Manager didn't give a crap. Ill drive farther to get to another LJS. Will never return here.
