I have lived in Riviera Village for over 20 years, and The Green Temple has been a constant, delicious haven for me, for that entire time. I visited today after missing them lately due to travel, and I was so delighted to enjoy the same brilliant, consistent service and excellence. The owner is present, which I appreciate enormously, and my server Isaiah was familiar, kind, and friendly. The Savory Wrap is one of my favorite dishes, and I also love the Oatmeal-Cranberry cookie for dessert. The Palo Azul iced tea is incredibly special, please order it! I will be returning again and again, this is like a slice of heaven here in our beautiful corner of the world.

The white lasagna is great. Brocvoli steamed perfect, the flavor of lasagna is amazing. All vegan. Been my fave for more than a decade.

A gorgeous courtyard seating with delicious vegetarian/vegan food. There’s nothing else like it! All the ingredients are so fresh and reasonably priced for the quality. I highly recommend the 3 bowl with the tofu sauce (or anything with the tofu sauce).

Love love love this place. Any dish you get will be an amazing meal. They are so attentive and want you experience to be as good as it can be. I've been coming here for 20+ years and it has never disappointed. Even if you aren't vegan or vegetarian, you can find something yummy to eat and walk away satisfied, anticipating your next visit!

An oasis. The blue plate special was perfect. Portions were just right leaving room for appetizers of chips and guacamole. So good. The patio felt like a garden with private tables tucked here and there. Just a wonderful experience.

Great outdoor patio dining area. Natural breeze blowing though the patio. My 1st experience at a vegetarian restaurant and I wasn't disappointed at all!! I had the tamales and my lady had the veggie burger. We also had the 1/2 order of nachos, with the lemon fizz drinks!! Must try!!!

I’ve been eating here since I was 11 years old (20 years) and this place has consistently stayed amazing. Idk why it’s taken me so long to write a well deserved 5 star review. Their food is always very nourishing, fresh, and served with kind service. I always love their soups (I get one of each soup of the day almost every time I go here) they have this tofu sauce too that’s really amazing. The desserts are all delicious, and my favorite entrees are the blue plate, the savory wrap, avocado sandwich, and I like building my own bowl. I’ve never not loved anything I’ve eaten here and I’ve been so grateful to see Green Temple stay open despite the challenging times covid brought. Thank you for nourishing me all these years ❤️❤️

Very friendly and attentive service. The food was phenomenal. We opted for the nachos with added vegetables and guacamole and the tofu steamers. All of the flavors were amazing! Especially the tofu steamers bowl, which sound like they could be kind of basic, but was amazing!

This is the restaurant that makes me feel like I came home. The owners are so sweet and they are so wonderful and warm. The food quality is amazing, tastes so good, absolutely is a must if you’re looking for a vegan or vegetarian meal. Don’t forget to order tea and homemade pistachio cheesecake 👌

We are located almost next door to Green Temple and I eat there quite often. The food is always fresh and healthy. The staff feels like more of a family than a corporate. They have plenty of choices from salads, an amazing veggie burger, Mexican, loafs, specials.. the green steamers are my go to with the black beans and we also love the Tofu steamers and tofu sauce. Don't forget to check out the specials board for daily soups and dessert options. The sweets are incredible here and you don't feel that guilty because their food is so healthy. The atmosphere is beautiful and serene in their small dining room or beautiful courtyard. They also have specialty juices and teas you won't find anywhere else. There Green Temple just celebrated 25 years making Redondo Beach more healthy and more happy.. and we hope they are around forever because we love eating here.

I’ve been here a few times now and I love how clean the food is, how pretty the space is and how lovely the staff are. However, yesterday was the first time I was really craving dessert and we just could not stop eating the pistachio-lime vegan cheesecake. I am not a huge fan of cheesecakes but if this is how all cheesecakes were made with the most spectacular crust, I would be in trouble. Can’t go wrong with anything here tbh. And it’s so close to the Esplanade :)

Service is kind and attentive, and their great menu is much the same. The food is delicious as it always has been, with clean flavors and really fresh ingredients. Their veggie burger is one of my favorite plates; I never miss the meat. Their oat bar is only one of my favorite desserts. I highly recommend Green Temple for some of the very best vegetarian plates in town.

Green Temple is one of my new favourite places for Vegetarian/Vegan food! Extremely friendly staff, fantastic service with COVID safe protocols that really set my mind at ease and a gorgeous setting right in the middle of Redondo Beach dining area. I had the Vegan Enchiladas and they were absolutely delicious and the portion size was just perfect. Very fresh, awesome flavours. I will definitely return.

One of my favorite restaurants in the South Bay. I have been coming here for years and tell everyone I know to at least try it once. The ambiance is eclectic boho Morocco, with small semi private vignettes. Plants, statues and art placed just so. Staff work really hard to get everything just right and the owner is the nicest person I have ever met. There isn't anything on the menu that I haven't tried and I enjoyed everything. My favorites are the savory bowl, white lasagna, and tosoditas.

Server & hostess were not friendly. Atmosphere was unique with inside and outside options. Food was extremely bland. Disappointed because we wanted to be supportive as Vegans. Menu was easy to find categories and peanbutter pie was delicious. Unique lemonade was good too.

After frequenting The Green Temple for years, our family unfortunately will never be back. The owner and management are not considerate or customer service oriented, yet quite the opposite. Several times we have been treated with obstinance and arrogant entitlement. Either being rushed or not having simple meal requests well within their ability appeased. In a era where health conscience and vegan menus are abundant, kind customer service is crucial. Really sad as their food has been a staple. Luckily there’s an almost identical menu that’s more abundant, original, cost friendly and where the staff treat you with gracious respect just 10 minutes up the road.

Food is overcooked and lacking so much flavor. I find these positive reviews confusing, not only is the food deplorable but the service and staff are so unfriendly, it makes you question if they even want business in the first place. Would never recommend and wish I could leave 0 stars

Totally overpriced for what you get. The nachos were overcooked along with the beans, and no salsa as shown. The cornbread came with 3 small slices for $20. The wrap and tamales were ok, but way overpriced. Very disappointed.

Walked out because the service was horrible. We were being treated so poorly compared to the people around us. Owners need to fix themselves first and then coach their employees. I don’t expect the restaurant to survive much longer. Unfortunate.
