Excellent customer service. Fast service. Order was correct.
So tonight we’re on a budget so we decided to eat at Whataburger . It’s always good but coming into a location of consistency food wise. It is always a pleasure when the customer service is a plus and despite being his first day, Diego was as much help to us and was very kind and very patient with us. Thank you so much for making our experience That much better thank you.!
I had an absolutely incredible experience today, unlike anything I’ve ever had before. Des at the front went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and valued. Her patience, kindness, and genuine attentiveness reflected the love and warmth we are called to share with one another. She not only listened but made me feel truly heard and cared for. It’s rare to encounter someone who embodies such a Christ-like spirit—full of grace, compassion, and joy in serving others. This experience has left me deeply grateful and inspired to return, knowing that such genuine care and hospitality await. I would highly encourage anyone to come and experience this same heartfelt welcome for themselves
The food was delightful, and the service was excellent. Everyone I encountered was polite and well-mannered.
I used their app to place my order. Everything came as ordered except for two things: I ordered 3 sweet teas and got 3 UNSWEET teas 😡 Also one hamburger had lettuce on it when I ordered it without ordering it to be on there. The lettuce is no big deal but the unsweetened tea made me mad as we were out of sugar at home. It was a BIG disappointment. We picked up the order curbside. The bill was over $50.00. Being on a small, limited income I have to be careful with my money. Next time I guess we'll have to go in. Being disabled, this is very inconvenient for me.
We moved to Castroville in Feb. of this year and this Whataburger was right around the corner from our house. They've always had great, fresh food. We've ordered patty melts, cheeseburgers, just burgers, salads, taquitos, B.O.B.'s, etc. Basically everything! Again, thanks to our hometown, small town Whataburger!!!
We moved from Texas, and Whataburger is something we really miss. Burgers are always fresh and tasty. Tea is fresh brewed, and they understand how sweet tea should taste. Their fries are cooked the same each time, have a good potato taste, and always enough salt. The spicy ketchup is a must, with just a little jalapeno kick it is perfect for us.
Wow!! This is a great place for your water burger. Their water burger tastes mmmwah. Very friendly workers, spacious place to park your car.

Whataburger in Castroville, Texas is the best. Always get great service and the employees are always friendly. The food always tastes fresh and always hot.
It has been a while since we went to this location. Today they did pretty good almost gave me a sweet tea instead of unsweetened. So since they are getting better. I will give them some stars. Could be their biggest problem is messing up orders during a rush. But please always check your order before driving off. They are more than willing to fix it without charging you. Now the McDonald's up the road if they mess up on your order to fix it they will charge you. It is like they use to be the cheapest place around but after covid their prices shot up. Seems everytime we go they either forget something like fries! This last time they didn't give me my medium fries and put whata sauce instead of mayo like I requested. If I could give them no stars I would! They are getting better. When they first open they had problems with getting orders right. Always want their cinnamon rolls and an unsweetened tea... yum 😋
For the most part, good food and service. I just have to point out that for the second time in a row, I ordered coffee from this location and it is absolutely awful. Tastes very sour and overly strong. Not even cream and or sugar could help!! Definitely need to change the coffee!! Very disappointing.
They used to be very good about giving fresh chicken but here lately they have been selling us old dried out chicken. That's not ok at all! You can even see in the pictures provided that chicken is NASTY and dry!
Went through the Drive thru. Ordered 1 meal and 1 extra sandwich to share. Checked the bag it was missing 1 item. Went inside to get the item. Tell me why none of the food is actually hot. 😩 $21.74 for Luke warm meat and soggy fries.
Not worth the wait, seriously, there's better food to be had anywhere else and cheaper. I don't know why anyone bothers with this place when the service is so poor.
Whataburger now requires you to download their app for curbside pickup. As if that wasn’t bad enough, it requires you to create an account to even check in, even after you’ve placed an order. Just give me my food without having to do all the extra nonsense! As if that wasn’t bad enough, I had to sit and wait another 15 min for my food. What’s the point of ordering online if you’re just going to have to wait anyway!!
The fries were disgusting!! The girl at the drive thru window got upset cause we asked for a kid straw. No need to treat customers like crap! The food was very dissapointing.
Saturday, 9/21/25 at 10am -the service was AWFUL IN THE DRIVE THROUGH. We watched 4 cars drive off without food, including us. 25 minute wait, both lanes were backing up and they asked 3 times what we ordered and finally said they needed to take our order again because they couldn’t find it. (She couldn’t remember after each time she asked.) Someone needs to up their management skills. Hopefully not all shifts are like this, but we’ll drive to Hondo or go to another drive through from now on.
Order took over 25 minutes for two breakfast sandwiches. Asked the girl in the drive through how much longer she said less than a min and we proceed to have to wait an additional 10 + minutes. Wouldn't recommend this location.
I stopped going here after they kept messing up our orders. From missing meat, missing fries, water instead of coke. Today my wife picked up an order and they left out an order of fries, double check your orders. I have talked to management and they were no help.I showed the a picture of a burger with no meat, the manager just stared at me, just useless. They have been operational for months and still perform like it is their 1st day.
