Opiniones de Fratelli d'Italia Cinisello Balsamo
I discovered this restaurant during a company dinner. I really appreciated the dishes, both for their precision cooking and their authentic ingredients. The service was also attentive. The restaurant is well-maintained, but not very large.
Great little family restaurant, and very good value!
Great meal
Super
This was such an unexpected and wonderful find. The restaurant is family owned and they seem to know most of their customers as they are all locals. We arrived around 7pm but they were not open yet. The owner told us that they would be ready at 730pm. We're glad we waited because the food and the service was wonderful.
Not much choice and too much restrictions on your order (you cannot divide a menu, there are only two choices and also a la carte menu provided at lunch is very small). Food was instead very good and staff was also friendly. Service was fast. I would recommend the place at the end.
great
Passing through Cinisello Balsamo in the province of Milan for work, it was lunchtime so we stopped for a bite to eat. The place was packed when we entered, but there was room for two, and since other people had finished, we managed to get a seat. We ordered pasta for the first course and cod with vegetables for the second. It was a good lunch and reasonably priced.
A restaurant with ample parking across the street. The place is very simple and basic, but above all, very affordable. The food is truly simple but delicious, and the recipes are very homemade. You'll find everything from appetizers to fruit. The staff is very friendly and professional.
Very tasty food
Convenient place, especially for parking. We went for dinner. I personally had a fish appetizer, but it wasn't very good; it tasted very vinegary, unfortunately (everything except the octopus, which was delicious). I ate it all, of course, but if I went back I would have ordered something else. For the first course, I had tagliatelle with sausage and mushrooms; it was good but not excellent. The Calabrian dishes were excellent (especially the 'nduja). The staff was very kind and friendly. I'll be back, but sometimes things aren't always top-notch. Prices are perhaps a little higher than average for the location, in my opinion.
I had a really bad meal at this restaurant. The seafood appetizer was dry, shriveled everywhere. Some of the appetizer ingredients were definitely industrially packaged, like the marinated anchovies or the octopus salad, and the mussels and clams were practically dehydrated. For my main course, I had grilled prawns; the flavor wasn't bad, but they were definitely overcooked. I was still hungry, so instead of dessert, I ordered a "pepata" (fried mussels). I can definitely say they were "cold," and in a restaurant with a "Fish Specialty" sign outside, you expect fresh shellfish, especially on Tuesdays, which is the best day for fresh fish in restaurants. The service was slow, and the location wasn't exactly clean. The bathroom was already dirty at 12:30, with dirt under the table and a dirty glass.
Ordered linguine with lobster and asked the waitress for chili so she brought me a small uncut frozen fresh chili. It was confusing. I cut the chili with my butter knife and then promptly got burning fingers that I forgot were burning and rubbed my eyes. But that’s another story. Ate the pasta first and the the lobster tail. The tail of the lobster was fine but the rest of the lobster had an odd smell. I asked the waitress if it had been frozen as the menu didn’t indicate that it was. She didn’t know so she brought the manager/owner/waiter who made up some nonsense saying it was kept at -20C but that it was fresh not frozen and to not worry about getting food poisoning. So reassuring. My partner’s pasta was mussels was good as was my daughter’s pasta with mozzarella. We got limoncello as compensation for strange smelling lobster.
