We were shocked when we read the bad reviews. I have no idea what these people are talking about We've eaten here four times and every meal has been fantastic! The service was relaxed. We were able to enjoy our meal without being rushed. We had time to talk between servings. It was great. The menu is unique. The food is of the highest quality. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. My wife is an excellent chef and a food snob. We've eaten in everything from dives to five star restaurants all over the country. We consider this one of the finest places we've ever eaten. We're lucky to have it in Columbus. If you are looking to get in an get out this isn't the right restaurant for you. If that is what you want to go to Max and Erma's. Give this a try and have an open mind.

Stayed at this hotel , tried to book the local steak houses for dinner but were all booked. Defaulted to the in hotel restaurant latitude 41 ended up being a great choice ! Service , food and atmosphere were great. I had one of the best filet mignons ive had in awhile. Definitely an enjoyable dinner with 7 people .

Took my mom here for her birthday, the staff was exceptional. The food was great. We had good wine and a great dessert and a section closed off to ourselves. Very upscale

Mark, Ruslee, and Meredith took care of me at the Latitude 41 for a week. They are kind, helpful, and went above and beyond the customer service role to make every morning very pleasant.

The food and atmosphere were good and the prices were reasonable.

Went there for a business lunch with an old friend. The service was great, our server attentive, and our orders came out promptly. The food was very good. I wished my sandwich had more filling but the french fries were delicious.

The food has been very good each time we've eaten here; the seafood in particular were great. Service is variable -- seems to be tied to how busy the hotel is. To be clear, it's always professional and clean, just sometimes slow. If you're not rushed, you can count on a good meal here.

I am a bit perplexed by some of the reviews as i have eaten at some of the finest restaurants in the world and cant agree with some of the negative reviews. All i can think is they have changed recently but this is not my first time here. If one is looking for a quick mean and feel waiting 15 minutes to get there food fast food would be in order. That said I was seated, had my order placed and my meal within 15 minutes (almost to fast). The staff was very nice and understood the menu well. I ordered the Tuscan Kale Salad and have to say it was one of the best salads I have had. I felt for the type of dining the prices were outstanding. This is the best hotel restaurant I have ever eaten at and that number sadly is in the hundreds.

Good service, food was decent. The drinks were way overpriced. I get really good smoked old fashioneds at Hyde Park for 14 each, latitude 41 is charging 20 for an inferior drink. Pretty nice place though. I would give them another chance, they were on a limited menu when I visited due to a convention.

A nice place with a great atmosphere. The food was not the greatest, but the staff is very helpful and will try to make your experience better.

The servers were nice, but I was unimpressed with my burger. I am a bit of a burger connoisseur, and I like it medium rare. They asked my preferred temperature, so I asked for medium rare. The patty was on the thin side and crunchy on the outside and dry inside. It looked more like medium well to me. I was there on a business lunch, so I did not want to send it back, like I normally would have. The fries were good. Overall it is on the expensive side with a smaller menu. For those prices I expect it to match my order and that was not the case.

Mood is incredibly mid for the price. But the bartenders are wonderful and charismatic :)

For the Bread and Spread plate, it was house-made bread, but it was served cold and was just ok. The Steak Frites plate had steak with no seasoning so had to ask for salt. French fries were good, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, the restaurant is nice for a date, but you're paying for food that is just ok. You'll pay slightly more across the street at Mitchell's Steakhouse, but the food will be much better.

Ordered brisket bites and drinks. Brisket came out COLD and were served the wrong drinks.

Bland food. Service was good but they seemed understaffed. I work right next door and don’t plan to return.

Disclaimer: I never post reviews. I felt compelled to post one on Latitude 41 based on how disappointed I was. I would not waste money here. Prices of a 5 star restaurant and the quality of a 2 star. I was served a salad with rotting avocado and sour watermelon. I took only one bite. The server asked if I was going to eat anymore, I replied no, and he took my plate without asking why I hadnt touched it. My chicken was served overly cooked. I was given another table's check. The appetizer was $12 for 2 bites. Overall poor quality.

Way under staffed had to wait almost a hour to place a order but no fault to staff it's not there fault manager can mange food was over priced for what it was meaning taste presentation and portrayal friendly staff tho and nice atmosphere

Well, not sure this place is really still open. No staff. No customers. 845 PM. It took 15 minutes to get 2 martinis. Again, prior to ordering we were the only people here. Part 2: Ordered crab cakes when we ordered drinks. 20 minutes later...no crab cakes. Apparently we are going to Maryland to go crabbing. So much for a celebration evening. We are closing out and going to DeNovo.

I went for the food, not the service and atmosphere. I was very satisfied with the service and the atmosphere, however, the food was not edible. I took one bite and left the rest on the table. Very disappointed!

I have been a customer of this place for years, usually no problems, then today some guy who i was told was a manager, tried to charge me $17 for an order of eggs... I have gotten omelets with meat and fruit for less than that... His customer service skills sucked. I walked out

Ate here for the first time on New Year's Eve. It was a terrible experience. Service was awful and the food was not worth the price. Would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

Pay $30 for the breakfast buffet that had stale pastries, cold meat, flavorless potatoes, etc. The buffet was the equivalent to a continental breakfast that most hotels give for free.

why is this place name latitude 41... that's Akron. Should be called latitude 39.96

I would of given them a 5 stars before but now their menu has changed as well as their staff it's slow now and good is horrible.

Horrible and expensive. Chicken came with no sauce. Fore’s not salted. If you’re gonna charge me $25 for a sandwich, at least make it right! And the food was generally horrible. I would stay far away from this place for a very long time. Unfortunately I got stuck here for work.

Grossly understaffed. Took 1+ hour to get our order which turned out to be paltry for the price we paid. If you enjoy paying $$$ for cold, overcooked tidbits of food, look no further. The servers were courteous and I guess they were doing the best they could.

Mediocre food and terrible service-menu doesn't cater to special diets. This establishment has gone steeply downhill the past three years. Went for lunch in 2017 and the food was still good, even though our orders got all mixed up. Went for lunch this week and it was by far the worst restaurant experience we’ve had in Columbus. Things that went wrong: 1) The menu online is outdated by TWO YEARS. The manager said corporate Marriott controls the menu and is hard to get it updated. WHAT?! Does anyone else check menus online before eating somewhere or am I the outlier? 2) Server and manager tried to tell us which items on the menu could be made Vegan (the online menu had at least 4 vegan options, other than salad). After confusing GF with V, they decided just the vegetable soup(very spicy) and the salads could be made vegan. (Fried food was all fried in the same oil as meat). 3) Another guest at our table had a club sandwich with a side of potato chips. They were raw potatoes sliced and heated up. Also, the white bread used for the sandwiches resembles Wonder bread. The 2 year old menu has Brioche. 4) Server continuously reached over our heads and plates to refill our water glasses which felt like a huge invasion of space and made several of us uncomfortable. 5) Server dropped at least 1 to-go box on his way to our table, and gave it to us to use. Yuck. The staff was very nice and no one was ever rude or inconsiderate. But my friends and I will not be dining at Latitude 41 again.

Great place to eat if you want to wait 2+ hours for your salad only to get a head of lettuce that you have to cut up yourself. I would imagine possible slow service at a packed restaurant, but when ~30% of your tables are full, there is no excuse. In addition, there was a change of waiters and both seemed to neglect all aspects of service. I could have gone to the grocery store and made the same dish for a fraction of the price and in a fraction of the time. Very disappointed from what I had expected to be a reputable establishment.

The service was HORRIBLE. It was so slow getting everything we ordered. 75% of the restaurant was empty. There is no reason why it would take 45 mins for us to get our food. The salad that was ordered didn't even come first and came out with chicken on it instead of the shirmp that was ordered. Substitution of a sides were not correct and to top it off, all of the meals were either under salted or over salted. Waste of time and money.

I had dinner on the patio with my dog which I have done before. As I was getting ready to pay my bill and leave the restaurant manager came outside and told me my dog was not allowed on the patio when just 8 months ago they held a pups on the patio event. I'm confused as what changed in that short amount time. I went to try and drop my check off with my server and was told I was not allowed to come inside even while my dog was in his carry-on. My dog is only 7 weeks old very harmless for that matter. So as I was leaving I asked one of the workers there when they had changed and the manager came outside and yelled at me to leave, after I has said I was already leaving and threatened to call loss prevention (security) me. I feel very disrespected and I will no long dine at this establishment due to the manner of the manager there.

Came here on Friday, January 26, 2019, 6:30 PM. Both of their entrances were locked. Went around into the hotel and was able to enter through there. There was no greeter at the area where you're supposed to be seated. After waiting several minutes, I decided to go sit in the bar, but alas--no one was there either, in fact the entire restaurant was nearly empty. I see why. I left after and took my business elsewhere. Worst place that I never ate at.

Bad experience.. took the waiter about 10 minutes to get our drink order. Ordered our food during lunch and didn't receive our food even after an hour. We left the restaurant without getting our food. Didn't seem too busy but they only had 1 waiter. Service was slow.

Food is ok for a hotel bar. Service is terrible if you sit away from the bar.
