I had a quarter chicken and a sausage link. Oh my gosh. It was so good. The chicken was juicy and tender. The sausage had a rich smoke flavor and lots of juice.

I must give a pat on the back to the person that made my poor boy brisket sandwich today!!! Meat was not fatty and I had more than 2 slices of brisket on it and the sauce was just enough!!! I haven't had a poor boy like this in a really long time. Good job and thank you!! 😊

Sometimes the lines are very long, Our first Bill Millers was on So. Gevers & Clark in San Antonio Texas. We thought we were so riches when our daddy would take us to eat. Boy we were so excited. Bill Millers catered at our Wedding ion September 28th 1968. It was at 35 cents a plate. Those were the good old dates. So we been with this restaurant for many many yrs and still going. And I am 76 yrs old. Blessings to all

Stopped early dinner, my order was taken and repeated with a Ty, get to the window and a young man Robert greeted, smiled and had eye contact. Everything you don’t see anymore in today’s customer service. Ty Robert, even a friendly professional greeting can make a person stay better and happy for choosing this place to spend their money at. I don't care for bill millers that much, but my coworkers love the chicken. I usually like to mix it up. So here I usually get the chop sandwiches, and they are really good. Food is always great. I took a dear friend for her birthday cause that's what she wanted and she turned 87.. I have always had good food there. Can't complain.

When I am having a bad day, I visit this location just to visit Darrell. He is exactly what this location needed!! Life! Smiles! Kindness! An absolute ray of sunshine! The rest of the staff could use a “how to treat the customers class” with Darrell as the mentor.

Speedy service and friendly service! There were about 10 cars in front of me in the drive thru line but within 14 minutes I was in and out of the parking lot. My kids love the buckaroo chicken tender meal, very fair in size it almost seems to be the size of a regular combo #4. Only difference that I noticed is a kids drink versus a regular sized cup. Bonus points for the brownie with nut dessert included 🙂 $6.30 for this meal

Went and had the brisket plate with potato salad and coleslaw. The brisket was pretty good, I'd get it again. The potato salad was creamy and tasty, but the coleslaw had a bit of a vinegar taste, a bit too much pepper and dry so wasn't a fan of the coleslaw. Will have to try a different side next time.

Great place to enjoy some great and simple barbecue. They also serve chicken, turkey, sausage, and more. They also have salads if you're looking for a veggie option. Friendly staff and usually very clean atmosphere. I love that this place offers a condiment bar. Some locations got rid of them. Also some good country music in the background. Safe location to relax and great desserts. 👍

I broke out into a 😓 sweat just waiting to order. Imagine working there, I felt so bad for the employees. They said, " You get used to it after a while." They shouldn't have to get "used to it!" Per their ad sign in store, ham plate combo, assume it's available, but no it's a 5 minutes extra wait, really?? Why advertise it, if it's not available?!?! Got brisket instead, which was great! I ordered on Door Dash to pick up and though the app said my food was ready when I arrived it was not. I was going to give two stars as many people were waiting and the staff were, for the most part, inattentive and unapologetic. But one worker, who was both communicative with and empathetic to customers who entered for pickup but also working the drive thru window, showed such exemplary customer service. His name is Darrell. I was going to cancel my order and ask for my money back through the app (I made two stops before getting my food and still had to wait a long time). Instead I decided to wait due to not only how he interacted with me but other customers. I’ve worked in food service and customer service positions so I’m aware of how challenging it can be. However, though I don’t expect to be necessarily pandered to when I’m inconvenienced I do expect some form of recognition of how the business has fallen short. Darrell seemed to be the only person (the manager and asst manager were working too but wouldn’t even make eye contact with customers) showing concern and appreciation for customers waiting. I wish we had more workers in all areas of business like that young man. I hope this restaurant commends him in a way that matters as a sign of appreciation for him going above and beyond.

We did takeout from here on December 30th. We ordered the 10 piece bucket of Fried Chicken, Family Fries, a French loaf of bread, and a bucket of Sweet Tea. The Fried Chicken coating was really crispy, but the chicken itself was not seasoned. Large pieces of chicken and the French Fries were good and the tea was really good.

Heaven was amazing! We went through the drive through and then they told us it would be a short wait. It ended up being a 30+ mins. I went inside to see what the hold up was and she investigated for me. Next time let your customers know if they are okay with waiting 30+ mins otherwise I would have gone somewhere else cause we were in a hurry which is why we chose drive thru. We were waiting in the car not knowing what the hold up was until I got out and asked. Heaven was incredibly sweet and I hope they treat her good and do whatever they can to keep her on their team. A swing and a miss today. Did the drive-thru. Gentleman taking order did not speak loud enough or clear enough. This caused me to not hear the order repeat or total of order. This in turn means I didn't have the right amount at the window and got the wrong drink. In turn, the young lady at the window did not verify the order(so I wasn't able to correct the drink choice) and seemed impatient when I needed to get another dime out of my purse to correct the mishead total. To my surprise.... sweet tea (which I cannot have) instead of unsweetened. Normally better than that. Frustrated! But moving on.

Line moved fairly quickly. The food was okay, and the chicken was extremely dry. The sweet tea tasted like plastic, and the young lady at the register was unfortunately not customer friendly. The young man on the line was very polite. When I went up to the register to get my son a to go container, I felt ignored by the young lady. Body language was stand off and blocked. Didn't acknowledge me. Never got a to go container for my son. Unfortunately, I will not pay this location for another visit due to this. This has to be my only bad experience at a Bill Millers location.

I understand I went during dinner, but they had me pull around front and wait for my order. I waited over 20, went inside and found out they forgot about me. 3 people who were behind me for their dinners before me. One person getting it before me I can understand but three!? No.

I love Bill Millys. This is what my family calls it. My husband BBQS, grills too. But sometimes we don’t feel like it and will have a hankerin for Bill Millers to satisfy those buds! Their BBQ is good, sides are even better. Taste homemade. However, EVERYTIME I go, never get my pickles and onions. NEVER. I’m a condiment queen and they make a HUGE difference in your meal. So disappointed tonight. Had a couple glasses of wine and wanted their sausage, green beans and Cole slaw. Went through the drive thru but AGAIN no pickles and onions. Don’t know what they put on em, but they’re good with the BBQ. Oh well. Not gonna drive back. This has become the usual with this location.

Although the holiday meal we ordered was good, it was definitely overpriced for the portions we received. It didn't even look like the amount we ordered, especially the turkey. Not ordering from Bill Miller again for our next holiday meal.

Ok so I'm dropping my Stars . I stopped coming for a while for breakfast because they were over cooking the food and being stingy with the amount in the tacos. I went back today and the tortillas were all cold,the egg was hard and dry on one side like plastic. I took one bite to my taco and it broke in half. That's an old tortilla,and definitely not warmed up. The sausage was diced now into smaller pieces, I wound up making a tortilla at home and putting egg and saying it from the old taco. This is the first time we have tried Bill Miller BBQ. I guess our expectations were high. The Cole slaw was sour and the BBQ sauce was very watered down. The bathrooms were very dirty but the service was very good.

This location has to be the worst in the city. I’m not one to leave reviews but every time I visit I’m disappointed. Whether it’s cold uncooked fries to them forgetting to put sauce on the plate. Terrible management. Won’t ever be back here. Absolute disappointment!

The manager Martina is extremely rude and unhelpful. They mess up my food all the time and typically they'll fix it without giving me a hard time which is why I go back. Today they messed up my order, as usual, but the manager was extremely rude. She refused to offer any options to resolve it or refund my money. She just kept reading the order on the ticket to me over and over saying that that's what they put in the system. Then she hung up on me. I ordered brisket with no crispy ends, my standard order. Half of my foo brisket was crispy ends today and not edible. About 1/8 of a pound, out of 1/4 pound, is hard crunchy in inedible ends. Martina should not be a Manager. Bill Miller should be ashamed to have this person representing them.

This B. Millers is inconsistent with quality and service. My trip this week for takeout was not good. I got home without fries and my spouse and I both got pinto beans, which were inedible because of the salt content. I'm adding another disappointing review. Basically, it's rare when getting takeout that the order is correct once I get it home. I recently picked up 2 meals and even though the receipt and the ticket on the bag listed the correct sides, they were wrong and one was missing. I'd say this happens 3 out of 4 times. There are no checks and balances. It's very frustrating and with the negative reviews, instead of apologies, improvements should be made. I've gone to B. Millers for years, but have come to the conclusion that it needs to be taken off our rotation. Tried them again and order was wrong. Do not use them for takeout unless you want to take the risk.

The fact that the GM Alyssa at the location on kittthawk and topperwine refused to give us a potion of pickles after ordering $55 worth of food because she said she already threw a sample of pickles in the bag and that we needed to pay $2.48 cents for free pickles that the customers inside get to get as much as they want but drive threw has pay! Then says it’s the police to charge for pickles and so because I only had $100 bill that give me $1 and $5 for my change back. After calling the restaurant to see if my would make thing right she continued to be rude then bribes us with dessert hoping we drive back to the restaurant to pick up. Hoping corporate is able to clear this misunderstanding and rude Gm issue up.

I am vegetarian first of all, had worst experience when finding out that they make refried beans with bacon grease!! Yet the morning manager was aware that I don't eat meat and still offered me bean and potatoe tacos I said yes because I had no idea. Found out days later about the grease used for the beans. I need to revise my review. Today 2-25-26 @645pm i went to this location to buy 2 pounds of turkey, after 20 mins with no communication, they finally told me that it would be 5 more mins. Never been to a bill miller that didn't have turkey prepared. Also since I was waiting so long I noticed not one employee said THANK YOU to ANY customer, not the bill miller way! I did not bother talking to the manger on duty because she was just standing around and not coaching her employees. Oh and the turkey i recieved finally was super dry. Corperate really needs an audit on this location and possibly retrain for employees

Waited 15 mins for fresh chicken. After noticing cars behind me get all their food I went in to ask how much longer. They said it would be another 12 minutes as more chicken had to be dropped? I only ordered a 4 piece wing? Waited a total of 30 mins and still no food! Received a refund a decided this wasn’t worth it after all. 1 freaking star!

The worst food I’ve ever had at any Bill Miller location in SA. The chicken tasted like it came straight out the refrigerator. Cold and dry. They forgot my fries on a combo meal. My bean and cheese taco was inedible. Beans were just as dry as the tortilla. No quality control and the management here is obviously non-existent. The staff is miserable. I have several witnesses who agree. Extremely poor leadership and no genuine hospitality in the leadership staff. I feel very bad for the poor workers being abused. I hadn’t had bill millers in awhile so I decided to stop by today for a Salad to go. I ordered the Salad delight with white meat chicken and a sweet tea. I asked if it still came with bacon and cheese and was told the bacon bits had been discontinued but it still came with cheese, ok no problem. I also asked for a side of marinated onions. Once I got home I opened the bag, they have given me a side of pickles instead of onions, and it didn’t even have the cheese I was told still comes with it. Annoyed, I just threw it away. My husband went to the drive thru and ordered and the lady who was taking his order sounded like she didn’t even want to take his order and was rude. She said his total was $19 and was looking away the entire time. Then someone came out to give my husband the food and he asked her to tell her manager that the woman at drive thru shouldn’t be working drive thru if she’s going to be so rude and the other co worker said “sorry it’s been a long night” and my husband was explaining how it’s no excuse to treat customers like that and the lady said okay sir and just started walking away. I ordered the #7 combo with no onions which is 2 Sandwiches. They told me they were using a different bread I was ok with that. But the size difference is astounding… these are the size of small rolls or sliders. There is barely any meat in them and there are onions on them too. I’m very disappointed. They closed at 5 for Christmas Eve and I ordered at 4:30 so I wasn’t able to call back and get a refund or new order. But there is no excuse for them to the throw food in a bag and serve it to people. I will be calling tomorrow. If the food is smaller, the price shouldn’t be the same. Because literally my food looked squished and thrown at a wall and then shoved into a paper bag. Also my husband ordered a number 3. The brisket plate. Ordered 2 brisket tacos, got to work and to find out they gave me the ends to the brisket, it was hard and not able to eat. This has never happened, Just disappointed, spent $$ and keft with no breakfast. 😢

The gentleman taking orders at the box and window today was absolutely rude. No hospitality & snappy with you at the box & window. Didn't take the time to confirm the order and would sound annoyed when you clarified what you were ordering. All that for him to still not get my order correct.

Do not buy any tacos that include eggs from the topperwein location..... Unless u don't mind paying $250 for a tortilla because that's all your getting is a sprinkle of eggs and all tortilla. Go to the taco place next door, they are great size taco with plenty of egg and very filling. If y'all can't afford eggs ,stop selling them!!! Nobody gives that little eggs on their tacos anywhere else

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at bill Miller's. I got 2 chop beef combo's. The amount of meat on all 4 sandwiches was paper thin. It didn't even cover the whole bun and no pickles and onions on them. Pickles and onions make the sandwich. And when I asked for extra pickles and onion and some limes I got a hand flicked at me saying we out. Well dang pickles and onions are kinda a staple at bill millers, crazy they would be ALL out.

Came to eat dinner with my wife and as we were finishing our food, the manager comes out at like 9:01 and yells we’re closed!! So rude! Do not work in customer service if you don’t like it!

I don’t know what it is but the Quality of Bill millers food lately at any location I’ve been to has just been disgusting. Tried this location today and was worse than the ones I thought were already bad enough. Who wants to pay for food that’s not even fresh? Let alone WARM?! Didn’t even eat half of my meal since it was cold. Wasted money and still hungry. I’ve been a frequent costomer at the franchise but will not be going anymore due to the fact the food just isn’t good anymore.
