Opiniones de Stagecoach Coffee Cooperstown
The service and food quality is amazing at this small local shop. Despite the long looking lines and big crowd for this small New York town, the employees are friendly and efficient workers. P.S. if you like sweet drinks, get the iced caramel macchiato.
This is an awesome coffee spot in town. The coffee options are expansive and delicious. It can get pretty busy but the staff is super nice and helpful. I ordered the house blend and it was so smooth. Also, the breakfast is so tasty! I ordered "The Unusual" which is a bagel with cream cheese, tomato, and avocado. The avocado is actually a spread or more similar to guacamole but was still very good. The bagel was flavorful and not chewy or too doughy. The lunch options were very appealing and the sandwiches looked delicious (brother said it was an excellent sandwich)
The food was wonderful and the service was great. Although one of their servers was amazing. He was friendly and he had great humor. 100% I definitely recommend this cute little bakery in Cooperstown NY.
Delicious coffee and food! Had the California BLT, best I've had. Cupcakes were amazing, too!
It was pretty busy but lots of seating indoor and out. I got a smoothie, coffee, and butter croissant. All were very good.
Best coffee and service ever! The employees work tirelessly to accommodate long lines efficiently. Not only is the coffee great, but the food and pastries are yummy too. Was only traveling to Cooperstown for the weekend and wish I could go to this place everyday!
Cute coffee shop in Cooperstown with amazing fresh sandwiches. Made everyone in the family happy! Great service, too.
What a cute coffeehouse. Delicious sweets and coffee is so good with many choices. The manager Christine is the sweetest! Always has a smile on her face. Great service.
Hot caramel apple cider is the best!!!!! It's good cold too!
Didn’t really have any food, but everything looked delicious! The coffee and lattes were so good! Cute coffee spot in a great location! We’ll definitely be back on our next visit to Cooperstown!
Staff is very friendly even as a tourist they were friendly and attentive. Food is very good quality with fresh breads and cookies. Sandwiches are excellent and full of taste. Menu is imaginative and prices are reasonable. Plenty of in house seating and nice deck that is quiet. Quick wifi and easy/Starbucks vernacular to make ordering your coffee a breeze.
My girlfriend and I went here for coffee this morning. Our drinks were delicious; definitely worth the 15 minute wait 😂! My girlfriend and I ordered: the skinny divinity, and cafe latte with pumpkin syrup. We went here yesterday as well and were not disappointed. We will be in Cooperstown one more day and plan on visiting one more time. Though the there was a long line, and a 15 minute wait, it is definitely worth the time and money!! I highly recommend going to Stagecoach.
Nice little coffee place right off main street in Cooperstown. Stopped for a couple of Iced lattes in the afternoon. Quick transaction and well worth it. Would recommend this place.
i got a frappe and i highly recommend both but i got the white chocolate today and it was amazing. i put three stars for food because i got this chocolate cake shot (i don’t remember the exact name) and the top part was a bit hard/old. I also like that they carry gilligans ice cream.
I'm not a big fan of coffee. I think the only reason to drink it is for the caffeine. I would drink this coffee even if was decaffeinated. Big thumbs up.
Everybody is super kind! They have outdoor seating the back. Their food options and beverages are fantastic. It was wonderful to get a healthy breakfast option and sit outside. When I ordered coffee beans, they gave me dark roast by accident but they're still good. I love their medium roast.
What a great cafe! The owner Chris is outstanding. His positive vibe and energy permeates to the staff. Coffee is roasted on site and tastes great! Must stop visit while in Cooperstown for great coffee!
We had some tasty treats and dynamite coffee. I highly recommend a visit if you're in C-Town
Great coffee. We loved all of the different specials and options. We were only in town for the week and ended up going back several times.
We were looking for a spot to have a cup of coffee on a quiet Sunday morning and stagecoach was definitely it. Very cute shop with friendly staff.
Delicious cream puff with chocolate sauce on top! Awesome decaf espresso coffee too. Thank you very much.
Just got coffee to go. Very nice place and the coffee was excellent.
I had never been here before, the inside looks all nice and redone. Such a nice little spot. The girl who took my order seemed a little on edge or overwhelmed they seem busy for a smaller town. I noticed a woman waiting for her coffee, her muffin was done first but she had a cane. She asked the woman carrying her muffin to the table if the coffee would be up at the pickup and the employee said that’s okay I can bring it out to you what is you name and what were the drinks ❤️ honestly when I go anywhere these days it’s all about customer service. I’m tired of the rude people at Starbucks 😩 nice wholesome spot.
Lovedddd the baristas <3 they were super helpful in recommending stuff and just really personable and fun :) delicious coffee and smoothies, GET THE BAGEL SANDWICHES!! My friend loveddd the panini he got too.
We stopped and had a nice lunch with three lovely sandwiches made with great ingredients and very speedy service. It was a perfect lunch spot.
Stagecoach Coffee in Cooperstown has quickly become one of my favorite places to start the day. The shop has a warm, stylish interior with a relaxed small‑town feel, and there’s usually a friendly buzz of locals and visitors enjoying their drinks and food. It’s the kind of spot where you can pop in for a quick coffee or settle in with your laptop or a friend and feel completely comfortable. The coffee is excellent and clearly taken seriously here. They roast their own beans on site, and it shows in the flavor—whether it’s a classic brewed coffee, a latte, or something more creative from their seasonal drink board. Espresso drinks come out hot, smooth, and well balanced, and the baristas keep things moving even when the line is out the door. Their food menu is just as impressive. Breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and oatmeal are hearty and well done, and there are plenty of options like panini, salads, soups, and baked goods if you stop in later in the day. The pastries are a standout—things like scones, cinnamon rolls, and cookies taste fresh and homemade, and there are gluten‑free choices as well. Service is consistently friendly and upbeat. Staff greet you with a genuine good morning, are patient with questions, and handle the rush with a good attitude. Even when the café is busy, orders come out in a reasonable time, and the team does a nice job keeping the space clean and inviting. Overall, Stagecoach Coffee is a great local gem in Cooperstown—perfect coffee, tasty food, and a welcoming atmosphere all in one place. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re in town, whether you’re headed to work, exploring Main Street, or just looking for a cozy place to relax.
The coffee is wonderful with lots of options, including seasonal offerings. Plentiful selection of breakfast sweets and sandwiches. The egg and cheese on everything bagel was delicious- the bagel itself isn't 'heavy', it's actually quite light and very flavorful!
Super cute coffee shop in Cooperstown. Great breakfast options too - the power oatmeal is really filling. And the bakery items are also amazing - especially the almond croissant!
We stopped here and loved it Enjoyed Stage Coach coffee very much. I love coffee and although I love that national Brand with Star in the name , I love independent Coffee houses even more! These folks had everything you could imagine from , Drip Coffee, Lattes, Cappuccino, Etc calling a coffee house doesn’t do it justice more like an awesome cozy bistro , cafe I bought drip coffee and Quiche they also had a large assortment of baked goods.
Stayed across the street from here and this was a welcome site. Ordering is smooth and they are very well organized with producing the orders. The food and pastries were great and coffee superb. Staff was excellent the couple days I was there. Prices are very good as well. Great place for Cooperstown.
We loved Stagecoach. It’s a nice little spot across from the Hall of Fame with lots of seating or for grab and go food and coffee. The staff was very friendly. The coffee is well made and strong. The food was surprisingly great, including the tomato bisque and curried chicken salad. The breakfast burrito was good and fresh, but could use some spice.
It was a freezing cold day in Cooperstown and several other restaurants were closed since it's off season. We found ourselves at Stagecoach Coffee and am I glad we did! We got coffee, hot chocolate, and a chai latte and all were very good. I'm a bit of a coffee snob yet the dark roast passed my personal test. We also got breakfast sandwiches, they were all terrific! In particular was the smoked salmon on a bagel. The blend of cream cheese, salmon, capers and tomato complimented each other so perfectly. We all tried a bite and agreed it was a winner. If we visit Cooperstown again we will definitely stop in.
We came during the off season, moreover later in the day (around 4pm), so we were the only customers. Service was prompt and curteous. The drink selection was broad with classic cafe staples, soft drinks, and a seasonal menu. They also offer breakfast sandwiches until 11, as well as lunch sandwiches and paninis, and there is a broad selection of baked goods. There is indoor and seasonal outdoor seating. The music was a little off and killed the vibe a little bit.
The breakfast sandwich on peasant bread was so satisfying! I also got a blueberry brunette bread pudding. Wow was that delicious! Sweet but not overpowering. Can't wait for breakfast tomorrow!
Great coffee shop and restaurant. So many coffee options. They make an amazing iced dirty chai with soy. Oat milk is also an option. They have a couple of vegan options and even had a vegan ice cream. I tried the tofu wrap and it didn’t taste great so I’d skip that. But they do have other vegan options.
This is a great place for breakfast, lunch, or just to meet up with friends. Their staff is very friendly. They also make a decent bagel, make a very good coffee drink and crowded or not, bring your food in reasonable amounts of time. If you need egg whites instead of eggs, they'll gladly make them for you. If you don't see what you want from their menu, they will attempt to accomodate you. You'll have the option of sitting indoors, outdoors, or taking your order out. Best of all, you'll find your purchase satisfying and worth your visit.
Great that this coffee shop was / is open early in the morning ( opened at 6:30am ). Coffee was delicious with a wide variety of choices. Nice spread out seating with a great vibe. We also bought a piece of crumb cake which was very good and fresh. Highly recommend Stagecoach … you won’t be disappointed… we certainly were not !
Exceptional staff. Super friendly, very polite and chill. Coffee was great, not thin like most places. Bagel was nicely toasted and just the right amount of cream cheese. Nice escape from the humid weather and a cool place to meet locals. I'll be back every time I'm in town.
Had a really excellent lunch in Cooperstown. I was impressed by the selection of sandwiches, wraps, and paninis. Got the best turkey and cheese panini that came with a side salad. The ingredients were so fresh. In the bake of the shop is a small patio where you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine on a sunny day. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The baked goods looked amazing and I will be sure to be back next time I’m out visiting this summer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you enjoy delicious coffee, good eats and a pleasant atmosphere, this is a must-visit little coffee shop tucked off the main drag in Cooperstown. Espresso, served in a small to-go cup instead of the tiny espresso cups which is good if you want to add milk I guess, was nutty, dark and delicious with a less pronounced bitterness than most others. Broad and creative hot and cold coffee selections including iced coffee - toffee, Super Cold brew (with MCT coconut oil) and Myco Brew coffee (with Host Defense Mushroom Extract). Wide variety of food that expands far beyond just breakfast including a range of garden salads, deli sandwiches, and Paninis make this a fun spot to come for lunch as well. Nice mix of seating options, including a window counter upfront with high top seating, table seating along the sides, a nice more semi formal seating area with tables in the back, and a fun patio with umbrellas in the back. The tables on the back room are arranged next to what appears to be a steam engine from a 1940s locomotive. Actually, on second glance, that looks like that might be their coffee roasting equipment. Unfortunately, can’t see the lake from here, but the food and beverages more than makes up for the lack of views (and I don’t think there really is much lakefront dining here). They do offer some gluten-free bread options, and do have a couple vegan options, but nothing that is gluten-free and vegan. Knowledgeable and extremely friendly staff will help you select your order as well as engaged in witty banter. Definitely recommend making the trip!
I always like stopping at this little hole in the wall coffee spot. They have really good coffee and great baked goods. This time was the first time trying the food. We tried an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and tomato. Then we also tried their breakfast burrito. It was a little try and could have used a little something something. It was still a very good experience and will continue to keep coming here.
Deliciously, amazing baked goodies and coffee. Coming up from Manhattan I was struck at how inexpensive my two cookies and cappuccino were. Upon eating, I was blown away at how ridiculously delicious everything was. Honestly, these were the BEST gluten free desserts I’ve had in the last year or two. The sandwiches everyone got were also great. Though they weren’t giant in size, the quality kept me full. I’d HIGHLY recommend this perfect little cafe to anyone in the area.
I stop here whenever I’m visiting Cooperstown and I love both the ambience and goods for sale. That said, the iced coffee isn’t my fave. It’s not bad but I prefer my local coffee shop. Just a personal preference. Servers are lovely
Nice little coffee spot with great service and a lively atmosphere. Great food and decent coffee. My wife loved the curry chicken sandwich. I had a bagel with cream cheese, avocado, tomatoes, and topped with pepper. Coffee was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Though I drink it black, so not sure about the specialty drinks!
Nice little coffee shop. Great food and sandwiches. Some of the employees are wonderful, some just look mad constantly. Otherwise it's a great place for food and some specialty coffee drinks.
First time here and we were staying at the B&B across the street from this place… We ordered breakfast in the morning English muffin egg sandwiches. They were quite delicious and overwhelming. Three stacks of eggs on a big English muffin. I’m sure the coffee is good, but we’re not coffee drinkers in the morning. Highly rrecommended. There seems to be a long line so I would order ahead. This must be the Starbucks of the town lol
I visited a friend in the area and I ordered the breakfast sandwich which was above average. The coffee was good and I enjoyed the atmosphere. It was the tourist off season in Cooperstown but lots of locals there, so that must speak to how good the place must be.
Food is great. Excellent service. Environment is a little noisy.
Stagecoach Coffee is an extremely popular place to visit when visiting downtown Cooperstown NY. Known for it's fresh brewed coffee and baked delights, this is a great place to come to get a boost before the miles of hiking around the Baseball Hall of Fame. The Baristas are really friendly and energetic and the dining areas stay pretty clean with a revolving pattern of human movement as people come and go. The usual amount of time people visit is 30 minutes and it can become very crowded during peak times each season. The prices are pretty decent, especially with it being located in a tourist trap, so it will make you feel pretty good knowing that you didn't have to go broke before you go broke.😉 I have been here several times in the last ten years and I've never had a bad experience and I've always enjoyed the coffee and croissants. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
It's a good coffee shop, but it's almost a hit or miss with consistency in specialty drinks, like iced lattes or frappecinos. I like to know who to look for at the drink station specifically for which drink I want to order (one person makes a drink one way the other makes it differently - or possibly even properly)... the prices are to be expected in the cooperstown area and in this day and age. This place was our favorite years ago, but the inconsistency has thrown us for a loop a couple of times recently.
We were in Cooperstown for two days and went here three times. Good coffee (including iced) and variety of other drinks. Delicious BLT, good smoothie. Great place to sit and hang out. Friendly and accommodating staff gets bonus points for setting the outdoor chairs and tables up on this unseasonably warm and sunny day in March.
Nice setup, ran smoothly even with a massive line. Employees were friendly and efficient, coffee and food were great. Worth a visit!
Friendly staff. Large variety of baked goods, including gluten and dairy-free. Nice tea selection, including organic options. Unfortunately, they don't have much in the way of medium or light roast, which my husband was disappointed in. There's a constant flow of customers coming through, but I haven't had trouble finding a place to sit. There's free password protected wifi. Overall, a cute place to get your coffee, tea, or baked good.
Love this place. If you stop in Cooperstown, this is a must to visit for any coffee lover.
We're infrequent visitors to Cooperstown, but reliably include one or more stops at Stagecoach. This weekend we caught them in need of a good cleaning throughout and a refresher on specialty coffee drinks. Black coffee was good; my partner's latte lacked the foaming that defines the drink, with no decorative crema at all. This is not what brings customers back to a specialty coffee shop. We'll surely come back, but this visit was a disappointment. Wishing y'all whatever it takes to spruce up.
I have been coming to Cooperstown for 20 years and I love stagecoach coffee!! Great vibes, great food, great service. However, the space is always dirty. Definitely needs more sweeping, wiping down of tables. Floors are always covered in food, tables are sticky, and there are many black flies. Otherwise, fantastic coffee shop!
Great local coffee place! Service was a little slow, but they were busy. My vegan burrito was very good, and they had multiple vegan options! The syrup for my coffee tasted very artificial, but if you’re into that, go for it. I also got a vegan cookie, which was fine. Not the best I’ve had, but definitely not bad
Food and coffee were very tasty. Nice spot for a quick lunch and had enough seating so you could still socially distance if desired. The only reason for 3 stars was because the staff doesn’t seem to upkeep the cleanliness. When my husband and I found a table we can to clean it ourselves along with the chairs as there were many crumbs one it. I also noticed that there were many tables that had chips, more crumbs, and other small trash items underneath too. I would t label the place as “disgusting” but I also wasn’t crazy about eating in a messy area. They just needed a staff member to occasionally check the dining areas and tidy up throughout the day.
Usually pretty good but the last two lattes I got were ordered hot and came out luke warm with little to no foam. Disappointing
A very busy coffee place. Food was ok but nothing spectacular. Coffee was ok. Prices are definetly way too high. 2 coffees and 2 breakfast sandwiches for $30+. Crazy
We went there 2 days in a row. First day we got food and coffee both were fantastic however the cashier was irritated and definitely did not want to be there. The second day we just got drinks and thought we would try the app. What was supposed to be a 20 minute wait turned into a 40 minute wait and the one drink was made wrong. Went back and they attempted to fix the drink but did not add any of the syrups it was supposed to come with. Gave up at that point.
Food was okay. Main flavor of “The Classic” sandwhich: sweet. The chai latte we had came ready-made from the container. The AC in the main seating area was broken, overall felt rundown and like a cash cow for the owners, benefiting from Main Street foot traffic.
Rude customer service, for no reason other than the person was just plain rude from, "hello". If you can get past that, you can have some espresso that tasted almost burnt. We'll give them another try, but don't have high hopes. Small seating areas, that aren't great for more than 1-2 people.
Seems to be no rhyme or reason to how orders come out. Vanilla bean cupcake was dry as a bone. Orders not coming out in order of placed order. Had to chase down the cupcake.
The staff at register are always friendly but it gets really old EVERY TIME I come for a to go order it takes minimum of 35 to 45 minutes for 2 simple sandwiches. After waiting all that time, get home with the sandwiches to find that you only received partial ingredients on the sandwich. I didn’t even get everything I ordered on it. Time to find someplace else to eat.
Usually pretty decent. When there's a lot of customers, the service goes down; way down. I didnt even order a bagel, I paid for a croissant ( which costs extra). My question is, after burning the bagel, why did they continue to make my sandwch? Why not get a new bagel and then make the sandwich? I'm sure not one of the workers would eat this thing. It tasted gross. The flavor of the burnt bread was all over every component of my sandwich. I'm disappointed in this place. Stagecoach was one of my favorite places in Cooperstown.
Friendly service and interior was clean and had character. Ordered the house panini which was lacking tomatoes. One thin slice(less than 3" diameter) on each half of a sandwich isn't cutting it when the first item in description is tomatoes. Frankly, two slices per half isn't adequate. The tomato isn't a garnish. The sandwich didn't have an abundance of mozzarella and pesto to make up for the lack of tomato. Not a whole lot of anything here.
Ordered a chai latte on the first visit that was pretty below average. Second visit the coffee was so hot it melted the sleeves glue, causing the sleeve to fall apart spilling scalding hot coffee. Employee’s response was “I can get you iced coffee.” Avoid.
Waited almost an hour for an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I ordered to go thinking it would be a quick stop on our way out of town. As a half hour approached and I noticed everyone else around me in line had gotten their food I asked a staff member if she could watch for my food to come out as I had to refill my parking meter, she checked and said nothing was ready yet. I refilled the parking meter another half hour. Waited another 15 minutes to ask a different staff member and she checked and the sandwich had been there the whole time. Threw it across the counter with a flat “sorry”. At this point it was cold and soggy. Got back over an hour later with a cold breakfast sandwich in hand. I understand rushes happen and things get missed but some sense of customer service when someone who ordered to go has waited for an hour would have been appreciated. Not worth the $14. Went there for lunch a day earlier and the wait was over a half hour to go. If you’re on a time sensitive schedule, it’s not a quick stop.
I stopped here with 2 hungry children. It was not busy as it was after 2pm. Ordered ice coffee, bagel and 2 sandwiches. I received the coffee. We waited. I noticed the girl who took our order left. The customer who ordered after us got her order. Not until I inquired about our order, the employees scrambled to find our order and start preparing our food. I just requested refund, which I received. I can’t speak for food but this place needs better management. There were at least 5 employees I could see. There was no reason for them to lose our order.
Staff were very nice and efficient even with a line out the door. However, apparently they get rid of their vegan tofu breakfast item for the Hall of Fame weekend (they use a reduced menu). Unfortunately that is the only vegan option in town for breakfast. It does not make sense to make your menu LESS accessible on a busy weekend. As someone who literally can't eat meat, egg, or dairy without experiencing severe health issues, this shop had been a beacon of hope and instead left me hungry and disappointed.
