Wowwwwww. Wow wow wow wow. One more time WOW!! Hands down the best coffee shop in this city. I ordered the Mayan Mocha, my friend ordered another signature drink and it was fantastic. The ambiance is amazing. We'll be back

I enjoyed a slow Saturday over the coronado bridge a short walk from the beach. Cute set up and layout of the place. Food was great well worth the price. Service was awesome polite and friendly staff.

Amazing concept- amazing food - amazing space. You can enjoy a nice drink, coffee with a good baked good. Or a great healthy meal - I totally believe you can share any of the meals. The one we ordered we all shared them. All so tasty and made so well. Great outside sitting. Cool area.

Ordering your meal ahead of time for lunch just got so much easier thanks to Jess, Kanye, Ari, Adolfo, for being so hospitable. The breakfast burrito with turkey bacon and a cold foam cold brew is 10/10! Their upstairs sitting is super cool! Check it out.

They have gluten free dairy free scones that are to die for. The coffee is great too. Highly recommend!

The Parakeet Cafe on Coronado Island is a fantastic place to go for breakfast or a snack. The food was amazing and came out really quickly. We got the Brazilian Bowl and the Avocado Toast, which was quickly devoured. The staff was great and so was the atmosphere.

Nice little spot. Just stopped by for the first time. Many taste and healthy choices! Highly recommend!

A cute place for brunch/lunch. Great for light bites or a “feel good” meal. In addition to the pictured items, we had an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie which was tasty. The juice was good overall, but pretty celery forward. This restaurant is counter service and has indoor and outdoor seating.

The tables were clean, the interior was well laid out and the windows allowed for tons of natural light and a great view of the passerby's on the sidewalk and street. Now for the dish:Little did I know that I have been missing this but now ....."All I Avo Wanted" was it. I tasted the blue corn waffle to start (for me, it hinted at that Holiday favorite of a Tamal!!), then moved to the avo, chili flakes and feta combo which was creamy and distinct with its flavor & bit-o-spice, the egg was "easy" to perfection (I still "yolk" about it) with hints of the hemp seeds and dill - wow! The "take me over the edge moment" came when I combined it all in one bite and added a dip into the salsa macha! Thank you to the kitchen, the front of the house, (Mr. Sabat also dropped by to say hello), and the location. It has earned a meal period from us every time we visit the island...... The variety of food options, from savory healthy bowls to sweet pastries it’s sure to satisfy any craving. And perfect to pair with the amazing coffee and tea selection. I ordered a matcha with honey. I also tried the lavender matcha. Both were well worth the $8.50 I spent. The atmosphere is positive, friendly, bright and colorful. There’s lots of seating both inside and out.

Fav spot in the San Diego area. Excellent coffee, excellent food, excellent treats. Everything was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. So many great gluten free and celiac safe options too. We came back a couple times during our brief trip it was that good. This will be our first stop next time we come to SD.

This was our first time here, and it was awesome!! The pumpkin spice latte was on point, I think the best i’ve ever had. The avocado toast was AMAZING, very nice served, and the tomato soup shouldn’t go overlooked! There’s not much that you can expect from tomato soup, but man here its delicious, you don’t even need the bread, lol. The staff were also very friendly and quick, definitely will visit again!

I’ve been coming to Parakeet Café for years, but this last visit with my 85-year-old mother was unacceptable. The café was full of flies, to the point where we could not enjoy our food because I spent the entire time swatting them away. On top of that, the music was so loud my mom was visibly uncomfortable. When I asked for it to be turned down slightly, I was told only the owner could do that — and the owner wasn’t available. This is not the standard I’ve come to expect here. It felt dismissive and unsanitary, and I left feeling extremely disappointed. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements so loyal customers like myself can continue to return.

Went here before a show at Lambs Players theater. This place has ample amount of seating and nice view of the street from the front window. The cafe and juicery next door are connected. We came in for an early dinner. Service was friendly and gave good recommendations. We got the Burger with potatoes, Belgian Waffle, pink lemonade, and the Mayan Mocha. The burger with potatoes was good, lemonade was tasty but needed some sugar. The Mayan Mocha was fantastic, such a perfect blend of chocolate, salt and a hint of spice. Would definitely recommend. Also the Belgian waffle was AMAZING. The waffle has great toppings and the waffle by itself was just so dang tasty. Do yourself a favor and get that waffle. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone exploring Coronado looking for a quick, casual dining experience with really high quality coffee.

A tourist staying at "The Del", I came to the Coronado location two days in a row and had the exact same experience both times - while very busy, the team here was extremely courteous, thoughtful, pleasant and very efficient, which is very challenging to pull off when being inundated by a tsunami of demanding customers. I hope ownership shares this review with the team, because they deserve to know and be recognized for doing such a wonderful job under trying, hectic conditions. Their hard work is witnessed, felt and experienced in the form of an excellent customer service experience. To consistently execute at this level requires commitment, focus and discipline by all team members at all levels. So, congratulations to a job well done! You deserve it. My entire career has been in customer service, sales and the human experience, and again, I am impressed. Nice work.

Stopped by Parakeet Cafe in Coronado and had a great experience. Ava helped me and gave me a couple recommendations since it was my first time there, which I really appreciated. I ended up getting the sushi wrap along with a decaf latte and loved both. Everything was really good, and the atmosphere was nice too. I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing some friends with me next time.

Friendly enough last behind the register. Great selection of coffees and dairy free options. Pastries were tasty. Ordered the latte and rose matcha latte, both of which were delicious me had beautiful cream designs in them. 9Sep morning update: lady behind the counter didn’t seem very interested in helping me as a customer at first, but warmed up over the short interaction. As others mention it’s very pretty outside. Only issue I had was I ordered a drink with coconut milk substitute and I taste 0 coconut. I should’ve watched them prepare it.

The cappuccino was amazing! Served hot, it was perfectly smooth and strong. Also had the avocado toast, it was alright. Their fresh juices and smoothies are great! Had the G3, was super healthy and tasty too. Loved their take-away cups with pink lids..very cute! Would definitely visit again for their juices and coffee :)

7-4-21: Came here for lunch and ordered the California Salad and the Grilled Vegetable Bowl. I liked the salad better than the bowl. The kale was very tasty... Fennel, 🍄, cauliflower, cranberries, green beans and mint + the tahini dressing! Very tasty. One complaint was there were pockets of salt in some of the bites. But if that gets corrected, the salad would be better. The bowl sounded good but was a bit underwhelming in flavor. Couldn't taste the dressing OR the bowl needs a different dressing. Service was friendly! Would come back again to try more salads.

Located along busy Orange Ave in Coronado so it's in a lively neighborhood with nice boutiques and restaurants. We sat outside so we could people watch. Plus we had a dog with us as well. Counter order and food is delivered to the table. There are lots of healthy options on their large menu. Ordered the Golden goddess salad and added grilled salmon for an extra $11. Presentation of drinks and food were beautiful and the ingredients were fresh. My salad was a bit plain though. Expected more from what I paid for it. Might need to try something else next time. Prices were definitely not cheap. Drinks were around $10-15. But I guess we were in Coronado.

Parakeet Cafe in Coronado has such a cute vibe—bright, cozy, and perfect for a little reset. The service was super friendly, and I really appreciated the quality of their ingredients. I ordered the mushroom latte, which was delicious and made with fresh nut milk, but at $12, it did feel a bit steep. Still, the care in the coffee and the overall experience were lovely. It’s not cheap necessarily, but it won’t break the bank either. Parking on the weekends can be challenging so I always park at a friend‘s house and we walk over. I’ve been here many times, and also the one in Delmar. The one in Delmar is somehow a bit more turned up A vibe. The one in Delmar is more airy and light and just a tad more up in terms of how it feels. That’s the only way I can explain it. Anyway, I really love the Parakeet Cafe and I would definitely recommend anybody who happens to be at one of these locations to check it out. I’ve had the vegan chocolate chip cookies and I think they’re great. So again if I didn’t already say vegan and vegetarian options galore so just check and make sure and they’ll definitely do alterations in the food for you.

Went to the Parakeet Juicery, not the Cafe. My wife and I ordered a juice each. Service was fine, smoothies were good, atmosphere not bad. A good spot for a juice or smoothie if you're looking for one. Prices were similar to other smoothie spots in San Diego. Expensive but not outrageous.

All Flash, No Dash The restaurants is immaculately decorated. Service was excellent as well. But the food looks a lot better than it tastes. Chilaquiles were middling at best. The eggs were cooked perfectly, but the sauce had a spice with no flavor behind it. Just hot to be hot. Salmon and eggs were well cooked but the quality of the salmon was pretty low, stiffer than I would expect. Coffee was about as uninspired as coffee can get. Come and get your Instagram stories, it’ll look great! But don’t expect to be blown away by the food.

I just visited for coffee, and the vibrant decor and atmosphere was nice. They make their own syrups, but flavor choices are limited to just the named drinks on the menu. I ordered a salted maple latte and it sufficed but wasn't all that impressive (didn't taste like maple, or salted). The food offerings, such as a generously topped waffle, looked good and I might return to try one out.

Every time we eat there we say, "Never Again" and yet.....we were pressed for time before a play at Lamb's Theater next door. We had 35 minutes before the play started so we ordered soup and a grilled cheese. We told them we were seeing the play at 7pm -- 20 minutes later no food and we were the only ones there. Soup was good but $9 for 1/2 a grilled cheese sandwich that was warm bread and a slice of cheddar was too much. Next time we are late, I'll starve rather than go back.

What a mess. The loud echo inside is exacerbated by the blenders and clientele. The service was slow and apathetic. Was excited to try the watermelonade. It was much more lemon than anything else. The slow service mashes this one not even worth stopping in to grab and go.

The service was great here and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Nice presentation on the food, but it definitely wasn’t worth the price paid for. Belgian waffle was undercooked and very dense. The “best” burger is…. Not the best burger lol.

Overrated and overpriced. We got the burger and it was so undercooked we couldn’t even eat half of it. Had a promo of buy 1 entree, get a free cookie and the cookies were not included, which was lame and the whole reason we got those specific entrees. Also prices for delivery were about $5-10 more than the pictured website. 0/10 would not recommend.
