This store had new options I've never seen before at DQ; in addition to lacking items I've seen at other DQs. New items included a turkey club sandwich, pretzel sticks, and cheese curds (not like those from Culver's; but still tasty [mozzarella]). They lacked tacos (my wife's favorite item there). I got a classic chicken finger basket and blizzard--both of which were cooked to order and tasty. Service at this location was excellent (thanks Chelsea, for your happy smile and friendly demeanor)!

OMG! I'm so proud to report that my experience yesterday was very outstanding. I wanna shine the SPOTLIGHT ON KENTARA W. She was so professional friendly and very very patient with me, she paid very close attention to the details of my order and made sure she checked in with me while the preparer was preparing my meal to instruct him on exactly how I wanted my food done. Their teamwork/communication was beyond amazing (I didn't get the cook name: short darkskin guy) he didn't get frustrated or anything he aimed to please and together they made me a very satisfied customer. YOU RARELY SEE THIS TYPE OF PROFESSIONALISM (OR EVEN PATIENCE) IN THE FAST FOOD INDUSTRY NOWADAYS AND WHEN I COME ACROSS IT I WILL SHINE LIGHT ON IT. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK GUYS! Vacation in the heart of Acadiana, La. and Long Beach, MS., but first a cool down break ( a chocolate sundae for my son, and a Blizzard for me) at DQ. Talk about great people, these young people were all smiles and amazing service, refreshing snacks with amazing staff; #reenergized!!!

Stopped in for a couple Blizzards on out way to Galveston and they were very dood. Service was quick and employees were polite.

The people were so nice we still don't have electricity., they gave us a 6 piece chicken strip. I drove from rayne to crowley for food for my mom. Thank you so very much. I appreciate.

I just wish I hadn't lost the ticket and been able to write her a proper review. I was a little concerned stopping into a drive through 30 minutes before they closed, but I really needed food and they were more than understanding and happy to accommodate me! It took about 10 minutes or so to get my order but it was piping hot and delicious. And, the blizzard for dessert hit the spot! The restaurant was very clean and the workers were friendly.

Food was great and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I used to make stops at dairy queen as a child. We would stop for ice cream on the way home from the fishing camp. My husband is crazy about their finger steaks.

I ordered a ice cream cake for my grandson's birthday . I needed it the next day. You have to order those 48 hours ahead and I didn't know that, but they were so sweet and did it for me. It was his favorite cake.

Food is good..we were overcharged for a dipped cone..we said large cone, not chocolate but manager was aggravated for his mistake and to give me my .40 back.

This is a drive-through facility only due to covid- 19 precautions. The food was good and arrived relatively quickly. It's hard to find a trash can outside.

Messed up my order twice but made it right and then some. (2020 review) hours incorrect. Drive thru is not open until 11pm on Saturday (3/18/2023)

Brand new location great staff food came out very quick and best of all they didn't have Christmas music playing just regular pop music.

New clean restaurant with lots of fast food options. This ice-cream stop is slowly changing to a full service restaurant.

I had a Medium chocolate dipped cone. The young lady in the window was very courteous.

A good looking well structured Dairy Queen of the quality that one SHOULD be held to as far as this restaurant chain goes. With food that is good to eat the only reason I do not give it five stars is because of the strange smell that was in the parking lot for some unknown reason.

Stopped for a Blizzard! Lots of yummy stuff in this one, well mixed. Servers were nice, but had a lot of side chatter and smack talking going. Was a little distracting.

Good clean place friendly staff overall a good place for a quick meal . My only negative comment is , if you ask for light sauce it won't happen. The burgers are too sloppy for me . I spoke to the cook a year ago and he told me the hole on the spouts were large . I told him not to squeeze the bottle so hard but apparently no one can do that . If you tell them no sauce and ask for the packets of condiments then you can judge how much you want. I just get the chicken strip basket or go to a different restaurant if I want a burger .

People we are super nice but service was slow. 3 minute wait time at thwmdeice through turned into closer to 10. Just be honest so I'm not frustrated and unhappy with the service. Fast food is getting too expensive. Will think twice before doing that again.

I don't think that I would ever give Dairy Queen a bad review. Everything is pretty typical of a fast food place, but that ice cream will always take up the slack! You just can't beat their dip cones, anywhere! Love'em!! PS. The dining room was freezing. I couldn't eat my ice cream inside!!

Ordered chicken strip country baskets. Different from any DQ I've ever been in. I'm not a big fan of how they taste. Wife was OK with them. Fries were very good. Tables and area were very clean. Banana split was worth the stop

I was impressed in comparison to the DQs I've been to. This one was very nice, clean, spacious and well designed. It seemed very up to date with the times. I visited at night and the parking lot was very well lit, clean and also spacious. Easy in and out entrance and exits. I didn't use the drive thru but did look at it and it seemed well designed and easy to maneuver. The menu seemed to me had many new items as well as the staples of the past. I had the turkey club combo and a dipped strawberry blizzard. My order came out quick and they brought it to my table. My sandwich was awesome, hot and fresh and tasty. The fries were very good as well, hot and lightly crunchy, not soggy or greasy. However the fry size seemed a bit small, but it was enough to compliment the sandwich. I also had root beer to drink which was good. The dipped strawberry blizzard was very, very good! I enjoyed my visit and will stop by again the next time I'm in town. I wish I had a DQ like this store near me. The stores we have are run down and appear the same as they did in the 80's. Not up to date like this store was. Again, I was impressed.😎👍

They do not put enough mix in the blizzards

New restaurant and very clean. Very courteous employees and manager. However, $3.49 for a small blizzard is ridiculous!

We live in Crowley and is our first visit here. Service was quick and ice cream delicious as always. The workers were very rude and acted like they didn't wanna be there. Very unfriendly!!

It is clean, & the service was friendly. However, our 2 burger meals took a long time to arrive at our table, & surprise, surprise, they were cold. Food served hot is part of quality.

Beautiful DQ with display cases. Friendly staff, ordered 2 steak finger baskets 1 was made fresh and the other was dead in the window from before we arrived.

I have no complaints on the food, it was delicious all around our table. The workers on the other hand need to get it together. The food we actually received was yummy, the rest we ended up having to bring up our receipt to prove we purchased, ( it was our ice creams) because we never received them. Even after asking and showing our proof of purchase, waited another 10-15 min and still nothing. Eventually had to ask for a refund. Everyone was done eating our meals and still no ice creams. The bad thing, is we were not the only ones this happened to while we were there. Don't think we will be returning.

The service at this location was good, the staff was very friendly. The food however was not great. The French fries were kind of soggy, not hot, and just sad. The chicken strips were okay, the hamburger had more mayonnaise than ever necessary.

Messed my order up we ordered 2 double cheeseburger and they gave us 2 1/4 burgers and the meat was hard and burnt black but they got my icecream right

9 dollars for two drinks is ridiculous.

Extremely slow and all we ordered was ice cream. The line was around the building and they even made the car in front of us pull forward just got a banana split. The ice cream was so runny and melted I was awful!

If they say they'll bring your order out don't trust them to find you! after 5 minutes I went back up to counter, food was cold, ice-cream was melting but they didn't even look for me!

Won't be back. I always hit up at least one DQ on trips to/from TX. Today, I stopped at the newest one in Crowley. The staff do not know the specials on the board behind them, so ended up spending way more $ than necessary for my meal. The ones in Jennings, Welsh & Rayne, while older, will continue to be my go-to spots henceforth.

Very...very slow drive through. No since of urgency from employees at all. Food was decent but the service was less than that!!

The cashier did not know what she was doing. She overcharged us when we wanted to pay partial cash and rest on card. We didn't even get the extra blizzard they charged us for. The lady didn't put lids on our blizzards and proceeded to put her fingers in them while putting them in a cup carrier. We waited for over 25 minutes for our food while other people got the same orders before us. When we finally got half our order she put it on a dime in tray while asking us if it was to go when we specifically told her before. This was all caused by one lady at the register who didn't know what she was doing. I should've asked for a refund. Do better dairy queen. I will probably never come here again.

Basically I went through they're drive through and ordered a blizzard, I know that I shouldn't expect it to be fully solid but when I got it, it was already leaking chocolate over the rim and this point I should've know this wouldn't end well as while I don't live far from the dairy queen, I still would have to drive for 10 minutes or so. So I set it in my cup holder and head home, apon arriving home I noticed what looked like chocolately diarrhea every where in my center console. Cup holders filled with chocolate and oreo, chocolate on my seats, on me, I have become chocolate from the waist down. But worst of all, chocolate chunks in my cigarette lighter port. So because of this chocolate disaster I get to spend my day off cleaning my car and hopefully saving my cigarette lighter. If you dont want a liquid blizzard, don't come here maybe

Every time I have ever gone, it's at least a 10 minute wait. I have to repeat my order more than once, and when you get the food, the order more than likely wrong. The chicken on my sandwich this past time was harder than rubber and dry, (at a peak time) and that's not the first time. I'll drive to Rayne to get decent service and the food that I actually order. Tip: Describe the atmosphere.... The atmosphere sucks. The workers act as if it's rocket science to correctly complete and expedite an order.

Lobby and restrooms are closed. Doesn't help the truck driver that can't drive in your drive thru.

if i could rate 0 stars i would this place gave me food poisoning and not just me my mother to i got a dipped ice cream cone and my mom got a heath blizzard and the same night me and my mom threw up had constant diarrhea and today we still feel like our stomachs are trying to kill us.

Visited on July 14, 2019 at 6pm. Manager was very rude. It was a clean and friendly place until the manager decided to work the front counter.

Went in to place an order and they’re out of ice cream. How you gonna call yourself Dairy Queen but not have any dairy?

The food is good. However, the service is TERRIBLE. The workers are always rude and make me feel like a burden. They take forever and play around. This restaurant really has potential, but needs better staff.

Stayed at the truck stop across the street in my 18 wheeler. Walked to Dairy Queen to get something to eat. Lobby closed and would not serve me unless I drive thru with a car. So I walked back across the street to where I guess a truck driver belongs and bought my dinner plus Ice Cream. Moral of this review is this Dairy Queen does not to serve to truck drivers. I hope this Dairy Queen go out of business and I am not joking.

I would go to Dairy Queen because I had good memories from childhood. This one has ruined those memories for me. My food was wrong and cold. When we asked if they could fix it they refused and tried to give us a coupon not even our money back. Very disappointed

Horrible customer service. The staff was busy laughing and looking in their phones instead of focusing on the customers. The shift lead had no control of her team. I chose not to eat there due to the lack of professionalism.

Tried it twice and both times were disappointing. First time I got flame thrower combo and it was dry just meat and bread. Second time I got steak finger basket and only had 1/4 cup of white gravey. Now how you gonna dip 6 steak fingers in a 1/4 cup of gravey com on now.

Waited in line for 15 minutes. She didn't get the whole order. When we get to the window we ask to repeat the order and she says, (we can here this) oh wow u don't know what u ordered?!? So flipping rude... it was 10:06 when drove up and sat for that long and left with nothing because of attitude.

Slowest Dairy Queen I’ve ever stopped at .. waited 25mins for one burger and chicken strips .. completely unorganized with no sense of what people want

I stopped for lunch as I was passing through the area. I ordered a backyard ranch burger meal or whatever it was called. I received my drink and was asked to pull forward and they’d bring my food out. After waiting for about 7 minutes they finally brought my food. I went to pull off as I checked my bag and noticed there were no fries, like what? Is it really that hard? I went back around and asked for my fries. I got back on the road and didn’t think to check anything else. I started to eat my fries, they were cold, over salted and all around very bad. Whatever, I threw them in the bag and pulled the burger out. It wasn’t even the burger in ordered. It was a bbq burger with an onion ring on it. But when I tell you there was way too much bbq sauce I really mean it. It was like I was biting into bread with a quarter bottle of sauce. It was horrible. The onion ring wasn’t even fully cooked and the entire thing was room temp. Is it really that hard? I just spent $15 and none of it was edible. They weren’t even busy. They really just hire anyone huh.

Sloooooow. This is the last time I'm going to this store, we were the only customers there, and it took 15 min.s to get our order, and they got it wrong, and didn't offer to correct the issue until we complained as we were leaving. The cook said that he didn't know that we were shorted our fries, but we heard him acknowledge we were shorted fries. He flat out lied to us in front of the clerks. Every time I've been to this store the service was slow, very slow

I loved the steak fingers until today. They are so thin that you can't even taste the meat. I understand that you make the product smaller in order to keep from going up on the price. Dairy Queen even made the price out outrageous. Won't be back.

Horrible, it took over 15 minutes in the drive thru, and when I finally got my food the Fry's were cold, the toast was cold and soggy, the chicken strips were not really warm, but the gravey was warm. Poor employee attitude. I will probably Never good back to this location. The DQs in Texas are awesome. The one in Crowley SUCKS

We went to Crowley location order 3 dipped cones at Drive thru. It took 15 minutes to get 2 of them then 10 minutes passed by and they didnt bring the 3rd one so I honked the horn once and the girl came to the window and said they were waiting for the ice cream to harden. My husband told her ok never mind then. She shut the window in his face and walked off and never returned with our refund for the 3rd ice cream cone we didnt receive. They are very slow the few times we have gone there. Never again!!! We will drive to Rayne where we never have had any thing but great service there.

Showed up at 10:15pm to order two ice creams through the drive through. I got denied service by three young girls saying they were closed when the drive thru doesn't close till 11:00pm

Night shift is the worst time to go. They are rude and will lie about not being able to serve at the window. They make people get down to order if they don’t want use drive thru. Also the manager is very rude when explaining things. I recommend not going past 8:00 PM. Service will be terrible. Particular one person gives the same trouble every time.

Went to drive thru ordered and banana split blizzard add hot fudge. On the speaker I don’t know if she couldn’t hear me or what but she kinda had an attitude. Got to the window, super nice. Handed me a whole banana split. I said no I wanted a blizzard. No problem she took it back well I noticed it had pineapple, don’t eat pineapple. Before I can say anything she closed the window. Few seconds later she comes back and I tell her please not to put no pineapple. I didn’t think they remade it that fast. Well some woman come to the window aggressively talking about they done had to remake our order 3 times (lie) and when we order I need to know what I’m ordering. I simply said I know what im ordering I just didn’t know it came with pineapple and I apologized. I offered to take the one already made but she made it a point to repeat my order back to me as if I was a kid and finally gave me my blizzard. Not sure if they had a bad day or what but that experience makes me never wanna go back. That was like my second time ever even going there.

I ordered a mobile order for the first time and I just got there and my mobile app said it would be 12 minutes so I was waiting and then the lady there asked what I was waiting for and she gave me an attitude and was very rude about it instead of just giving me my order. I personally work fast food and that is not a way to greet customers. I’ve never been the type to be rude to fast food workers but she was lucky i did not say anything. A person like that needs to be fired from fast food bc without genuine respect for people and kindness as an individual then you won’t make it in life. I hope this lady learns a few things in life and that’s all I will say for her.. but definitely don’t recommend. Ice cream was also melted a little when I had just ordered it. I understand that I didn’t tell them bc I didn’t know but that was not required.

I had steak fingers on my mind and on my way to Baton Rouge I stopped to get some. Much to my shock this Dairy Queen does not sell steak fingers! That’s like Popeyes not selling chicken. What genius decided not to have one of the signature items on the menu. So I ended up with some super subpar chicken strips and some crappy sundae. How do you mess up a sundae? The lobby was cold enough to hang meat. All in all the staff was nice So save yourself some time and go to the Dairy Queen down the road in Rayne where you can get some steak fingers
