I went here for my birthday! Upon entering the establishment, I had to say “wow!” immediately as the atmosphere was so chill yet vibrant! I felt very welcomed by all the staff members. I also got to meet the owners and they are all absolutely the sweetest! The food though. Let’s talk about it. IT WAS FRESH. VIBRANT in color! And the composition of these dishes were so eye pleasing! Made the food even more enjoyable!!! The price was also decent too! Nothing super crazy. :) So if you want a sushi spot that’s great in price, fresh, and delicious. This is the place! Definitely be coming back for all my sushi fixes! :)

Had a fantastic lunch here, very large menu, especially the sushi, at least 2 pages full of choices. The Tuna Tataki was by far the best thing we ordered, it was cooked perfectly and paired well with a ponzu sauce. The vegetable tempura was good, but I felt that the veggies were too large. We got the Bay roll and the Greyson roll, they were good but not great, the Greyson roll was better, the Bay roll was just too much cream cheese for me. Miso and mushroom soups both delicious 🤤!! I would definitely come again to try out more sushi and other menu items. They also have some Japanese pickles that the chef let us taste and they were sooo yummy, hopefully they add it to the menu. Our waiter was very friendly and extremely helpful! Glad I came try this place out. Will be back

Fresh, fresh, fresh. The owner was very nice. Made sure everything was good and offered for us to try one of their signature sauces - it was very good. For the portion sizes and prices, I will definitely be back. Great place to treat those sushi cravings!!

I have to say, it's a must go to, not many places have fresh fish, and the fish is fresh, judge the photo for yourself. Great service, atmosphere, and the slices of sashimi is perfect, not thin, not too thick. Will return for more.

We had a lovely time. Fish was delicious, fresh flavor & texture. Staff was delightful. We loved the salmon & yellowtail, the scallop was nice too, and the Ahi roll was lovely- a great end to our meal.

My husband and I both agreed that this was some of the best sushi we've ever eaten! We brought our little boy to an event in Lafayette and saw it and decided to stop and so glad we did. Server was nice and attentive and bathrooms were very nice. We will be returning in the future.

One of the best restaurants I have eaten at in Lafayette. The food is so fresh and not over seasoned. The staff is super friendly. This is the type of small business to support, they go far and beyond.

We ordered appetizers, raw sushi, and cooked sushi and everything was amazing. From the presentation to the plating to the taste and textures, it was all very good. My wife, who is not a big fan of sushi, was also very happy with our meal. Very nice, comfy atmosphere with big screen TVs everywhere and a high ceiling so felt very open and spacious. The servers were very nice, but I gave 3 stars mainly to bring to their attention that they most likely need more help. We waited quite a long while for a certain dish and it came out lukewarm. We were told repeatedly that it is coming but waiting over 30 minutes for one dish after we were done eating everything else is pretty bad. They were very busy that night and it definitely seemed like they didn’t have enough people but also, they weren’t use to being busy so the rush was very mishandled (I had time to observe since our food was very slow coming out). I didn’t really know who our official server was to flag down. They kept switching on us. So, great food and wonderful atmosphere. I hope their service is upgraded somehow. We will most likely go back and when we do and if the service has improved, I will update this review to reflect our experience. UPDATE: Went back and appetizers and sushi were amazing like last time and this time, the service was awesome. Server was very attentive, friendly, and polite.

Was excited to try this based on reviews... The service was great, sadly the food wasn't. The sushi rice is so sticky and heavy. The fish was mid-grade if that. I've had similar sushi/nigiri from a grocery store. Not sure why the reviews are so high.

First and probably the last time we’ll be here. My son and I both ordered the Teriyaki chicken. He got his right away and mine came about 45 minutes later. The chicken was tough and lots of gristle in it. Not impressive at all. I would think for the price they would use white, tender meat rather than dark, tough nuggets you can get at McDonald’s or some fast food place. The sushi was so-so. but nothing spectacular. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Door dashed twice my seafood salad was good but the soft shell crab was soggy and veggies the dog wouldn't eat oil they used was burnt oil ... today seafood salad had zero fish just crab it was disgusting i was a lifetime frequented then got injured so I guess since they cant see me or im not in the establishment they deciding to make cheap changes ..we'll they list a twice a week customer for sure
