Fish & Chicks is a wonderful spot. My daughter and I met here for Sunday lunch. The food was perfectly seasoned, fresh and hot!! The flavor was AMAZING!! I loved the vibe!!! Highly, highly recommend.

This place is AMAZING!!! The prices of the food are well worth every penny. A variety of menu items to choose from and the service was great. Establishment is clean and welcoming. I ordered the Spicy chicken bowl and did not expect how much food was in the bowl. Food was so fresh and hot just like I like it, the flavors was spot on with every single bite. I will be coming back to try more menu items. Wonderful food here.

We ordered a ton of fried items. Our catfish was done perfectly. The family loved the fried okra. The coleslaw was a mayo based coleslaw that the wife said was superb.

Food was delicious 😋 absolutely my family's favorite place to dine. Being from New Orleans it's hard to find seafood especially a po boy that meets the New Orleans standard. 👍 Everything was New Orleans 😁

The prices are fair and the serving sizes are decent for for what I ordered. Most definitely need to try more things on the menu. The fish that came with my order wasn't catfish, that might be extra, and honestly I do wish the hush puppies and egg rolls were bigger, but they were still good.

First time here and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I had the grilled salmon my husband had the fried catfish and my son had the fried rice. It was all so very good. I will definitely be back and definitely recommend it.

I recently stopped here for some fried shrimp and oysters. I absolutely love fried seafood especially when it's done right. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and welcomed by a young lady named Miya. She was extremely friendly and professional in her approach. There was another worker that appeared from the kitchen as I was placing my order by the name of KJ and he was also extremely friendly and kind, greeting me and welcoming me with a smile. I was really impressed with their positive attitudes, because they both appeared to be high school students. If anyone knows me well, they would know that I am one who absolutely appreciates great customer service. In this day and age, it's rare to find young teenagers with exuberant personalities and professional customer service skills in the workplace. Most of them are not too enthused to be at work because they would rather be somewhere with their faces buried in a cell phone. I'm just saying. This establishment has been owned by several different owners which is evident in the way the food is prepared. The food is still delicious as it was years ago when I first started eating here. However, the fried shrimp and oysters now consist of a thick battered coating, which is different from the original owner's recipe. I did not find the thick battered coating desirable. BUT, the food was served fresh and piping hot! Both the shrimps and the oysters were delicious! Also, the shrimps are a nice size, so you don't feel like you have been robbed after purchasing them. I highly recommend the fried seafood here if you can tolerate that thick battered coating that's on it. Also, in the past years when I frequently fancied this place before my big weight loss, my younger son and I would always stop by on Tuesdays and order the wings. The original owners used to have a wing special every Tuesday and the wings were delicious and inexpensive! In fact, they were so delicious that I had them to cater their traditional bone-in wings for my son's high school graduation party which was back in 2021. So, I'm not sure if the wings are still as delicious as they were back then, but the seafood sure is. As I stated before, if you can tolerate the thick batter that they are coating the fried seafood with, then you will definitely enjoy it. Although they have gravitated a little from the original owners' recipe, they are still serving the food hot and fresh and the shrimps are still a nice size. Overall, Fish and Chicks is a one of a kind hole-in-the-wall restaurant that serves up hot and quick meals that will hit the spot when you're hungry and in the mood for some finger-licking cuisine. The dining room is always clean and well organized. I have never witnessed it ever being unclean. They also have tv monitors mounted on the walls for entertainment while dining. I highly recommend it for those who live within close proximity or for anyone who is in the area. However, I would not recommend that you drive 30 miles to give it a try because it's not that good, lol. They are located in a business strip surrounded by other businesses such as, Bounce Bounce Trampoline Park, The Voice Karaoke Bar, and more. Parking is very plentiful!

I would love to give Fish & Chicks 3 1/2 🌟, but there are no half stars. The location is convenient. The restaurant is nice and clean. The parking is easy and plentiful. The prices are average. The lady when I called in was really helpful. The red beans and rice were really good. The gumbo was delicious and full of shrimp, chicken, and cut up saugsage however the roux was light in color. The thickness was perfect, the flavor was good. I would order both the red beans and rice, gumbo again. The Shrimp Fried Rice was average at best. The fish was decent and the fried shrimp must've been pre battered for days, they were hard and not edible. So in a pinch, we would eat some of their items. Thanks for having us.

Ordered to go and some food was missing, I had to go back. White rice was flavorless, not even salt. Fish was really dry and flavorless as well. Kind of pricey for the portions and qualify of food. 7spice on Fry is less expensive and way more flavor. I dont recommend.

Oh no ma’am. Somebody dropping fake reviews because it did not give what it was supposed to had gave. I ordered Catfish w/ a side of gumbo, and 10 wings. Now to my surprise, the gumbo featured diced hot dogs and tasted really bland. No seasoning and definitely no seafood in it. This is Houston, and they couldn’t find one cook from Louisiana to consult with? The catfish was crunchy and not meaty. I was able to crack it apart and salvage some parts with the tartar sauce. The wings were decent however. Small, but I understand supply chain issues. The Korean Spicy sauce was great though.

We love this place and eat here all the time. This time around though ALL of our food was over fried. Im talking black crust. It was disgusting. Not sure how the cook thought it was okay to send out like that. Didn't realize until we got home. $30 down the drain. Will change review if our next meal is better. Like I said we love this place! Really disappointed!

Highly disappointed. You can tell new owners. I spend 29.00 on a order of 10 wings and okra. with side of fries and drink. The okra was not seasoned, the fries some was cooked hard and others soft. The chicken was 5 regular and 5 lemon pepper. They did not season it and one was cold. The food is being cooked in old grease. The lady in the back seemed to be unpleasant. Definitely want get any my business again.

They have an advertised special on trip advisor and one on the door and refused to honor either one. Said we could only order what was on the menu in the store. Then we get a 9 piece meat platter and even though it is advertised you can get it grilled or fried you can only get it fried. Also if you choose chicken or wings there is an up charge. The waitresses comment. “At least they lowered the up charge”. The restaurant was warm and musty. Still haven’t gotten our food. Will edit when I do to let you know if good. Also they have a QR code at counter to leave a review. Don’t scan it. Go to google yourself. If you scan it and don’t leave a favorable review they don’t publish it. Food came I attached a picture. Very bland. No flavor. Food was hot.
