Large food portions and great flavor for an amazing price! Can't go wrong going to Albert's! If I have any complain about eating here, it would just be too much ice in the drinks; its just not my preference.

Love this place because they're always generous with their portions, they use quality ingredients, and the recipes are as about as authentic and traditional Mexican as it gets, that is without actually being South of the border. Best chicken fries around bar none

This place is the best. They serve u fast and its delicious. My kids love their Super Fries, and everything I have tried from Alberts is awesome. Their my #1 choice for a late night snack after the bar too.

Best Alberts Rest around. They open from 7:30 am to 3 in the morning. Wow, my go to place for breakfast or late night Mexican food. The food always tastes fresh b/c they have high volume in sale. Chili Verde plate has the right amount of spice & sauce. They serve breakfast all day...I usually get sausage breakfast burrito when I'm not super hungry-very tasty.

Solid place to satisfy your Mexican food cravings. I recommend the fish burrito. Edit: updating my review to 5 stars since this place always seems to hit the spot, is well priced, and offers large portions. I also recommend the chilaquiles.

I love this place very much, the food is always great and the customer service is good. My favorite plate to get is the Carne Asada Fries, OMG THOSE ARE THE BEST IN MY OPINION. But if you don't want that then you're in luck, The have a huge menu with a bunch of different things, tacos, burritos, breakfast, quesadilla, and other Mexican plates that taste very good. The quality and quantity is worth the prices you pay. I have been going here for years and know for sure that I will continue to go here for a very long time. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a new Mexican spot and want good food for good prices.

1st time here - recommended by a coworker, I went for the carne asada super nachos - guacamole, sour cream, beans, cheese and salsa on the side - and let. Me. Tell. You! This was awesome! Tasty, meat was soft and not hard OR salty (believe me, some asada is just ... 😬), and this is a huge portion. See picture lol - but yes, delish and enough to feed 3 people. Or 2 very hungry people. 😋 I also got a hibiscus drink (agua de jamaica) and pretty good, a little on the sweet side but not terribly so. In all, highly recommend as well!

Best Mexican Restaurant! Been coming here for 15 years and it's still one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Los Angeles area. The Carne Asada Burrito is our family favorite ...my personal favorite is the 2 Beef Tacos Combo.

Pretty good place to get a quick bite. Even better when they get the specifics on putting everything on the side so your taquitos don't get soggy. It's made fresh to order so it takes a little bit.

Ordered the nachos and chili relleno burrito. Flavor was on point for both. The pepper for the relleno hadn't been cooked long enough before being prepared though. The burrito was a little dry but their salsa helped fix that. Service was ok but they seemed bothered. It was after 2am so they were busy trying to clean and get ready to close at 3am.

Quick and delicious mexican food. Menu is similar to many of these fast food places with similar names (e.g. Albertos, Molcasalsa) but with slight differences. Love the taquitos here. Tortillas are soft and good. Haven't had a menu item i didn't enjoy. Gave them 4 stars only because customer service is not the best. A little smile here and there and thank you would be nice.

The first time I went real good food, and we'll served even 2 big burrito flower tortillas, second time ok food and served like for a child, assuming different cooks. But overall good and ok prices.

This restaurant isn’t a 5 star establishment but it seems clean and the food is good. I like the andeluz burrito (carne asada, shrimp, pico de gallo and cheese).

I haven't been to this Albert's for years. Sorry to say the food wasn't that good, it was very dry and they forgot one of the ingredients I told them to add. I think they need a little bit more supervision and they will be ok.

I would give it a 3 star since it had what we wanted, the tables were clean, good customer service and I didn't wait long to get my order. We went in with the intention of getting Asada fries, but we ended up getting an order of Super Fries and an order of 10 taquitos for the both of us. They were fine cut fries that tasted of meat and they weren't very crispy either. It had a generous portion with guacamole, sour cream, and refried beans. However the meat didnt have much flavor and the cheese was pretty cheap and not yet melted. The flavor overall got old quickly and we did not finish it. The taquitos were pork but the meat inside of it was very dry and tasted the same as the asada. They were covered in a generous amount of guac and topped with the same shredded cheese as before. They were the better of the two orders in our opinion. Overall, we got what we asked for, but I dont think we will be coming back. Perhaps if we lived closer I would have tried other options from their large menu, but, as it stands I would say "Give it a try."

The food is delicious, but I recently found a hair on the inside box of my asada fries. Good thing it was stuck to the box and not on the food. . .

We ordered the regular tacos and they ended up giving us the large tacos. I ordered guacamole on my tacos and they didn't have any just plain. The tortillas on the tacos feel apart when we were eating them which turned into a very best meal. All in all, I've tested better.

Horchata all watered down. For the price they charge for taquitos you think you'd get some real guacamole.

I don't like how on Uber eats they sometimes have drinks and when they do sometimes they forget to give to Uber person and they sometimes when I get food I tell them not to put something on because im allergic they still put it on so then I have to give to family member and would have to order something else.

If their drive-thru has more than three cars then it's going to take a long time for your food. It's much quicker to order and then pick it up. The food is usually pretty good. But, my pollo asado burrito didn't taste like it normally does, there was something different about the chicken and not in a good way.

Service is bad, and it's always been bad. They never follow instructions and correcting them gets you side eye. What they do right is the food. Shrimp burrito, carne asada fries burrito, carne asada fries plate, carne asada nachos plate, all good dishes. I hold off on the horchata, it's made me sick more than once and it's, what, $5? Just drive down the street and get a 7/11 horchata, it's better and far cheaper. With that said, this place is pricey. Two plates will cost you almost $40. A bit ridiculous in my opinion and the establishment still looks as shoddy as it's looked for the past decade.

Good machaca burritos and super fries. Skip the chorizo though. Great for a quick bite at reasonable prices. They are opened late and there is drive through..that's always a ➕. Extra salsas are now 1.00 for 4 small portions. So you only get 2 with your order.. this isn't gonna work for me.. really? Smh. It's salsa for Christ's sakes..

BE VERY CAREFUL HERE. THEY OVER CHARGE FOR EVERY ITEM AND DO NOT GIVE YOU A DETAILED RECIEPT. they do this regularly. You should take a picture of the menu board and ask for a detailed receipt BEFORE paying. The bean and cheese burrito is $3.90 on the menu. They charged me $4.95 The taquitos are $4.95 and they charged me $6.95. They do this every time we come... Once you pay, they will act like they don't understand and act confused...

The male cashier has now gotten my order wrong twice. Food is good but would be better if they remembered to give me what I payed for.

They're usually great, but our last visit was enough to keep me from returning. Fish taco tasted terrible, the two shredded chicken tacos were not. (Cubes of dark meat 'chicken'? Yecch!) My cheese enchiladas weren't cooked, still filled with cold unmelted grated cheese, and we didn't even GET the quesadilla we ordered. So disappointed.

I used the Drive Thru to buy a "Al pastor" burrito and "Milanesa plate", When I got home and opened the plate, and the meat was burned, hard and dry over a salad with guacamole smeared on the cold milanesa!, the burrito tasted like chorizo. I've bought food there for years and never had such bad experience. Even the employees were different and the customer service horrible!. I'm not going back there for a while or never! $25.00 in the trash.

Actually I am surprised I visited the store many years ago and the food was better quality and taste was better meat was dry not too much flavor the rice in the burrito was very dry and hardly any beans not really a burrito in my opinion but that's my opinion I didn't try the tacos and I'm not probably going to return so. Definitely a decent bite in a pinch but not a place I would bring friends. Too bad this used to be the place to go to especially with those delicious carne asada nachos.

So I just got off work and looked up a good burrito place so I came to Albert's Mexican food. I got me a carne asada green wet burrito with no beans and a side of guacamole. The burrito was okay too salty I wouldn't go back and buy it again but the pineapple juice I got was really good.

My orders were wrong. Waited for 30 minuets and my meal was horrible. I threw my chilli reano away. On of my grandson ordered 4 shredded beef tacos extra chesse, no veggies they put lettuce on it so much that we could not get it all of he threw it away. My other grandson wanted a beef, been and chesse buritto w/rice. He got a shreeded beef ( burnt meat) with cooked tomatoes and green bell peppers. He trew that away. I spent $50.35 on 4 meals plus sides. One meal was right. I dont think i will be back for a long time. And there food is usually good, not lastnight.

I went through the drive through. I ordered a Carnesada burrito with guacamole. I get home, there's no guacamole. I called to tell them about my burrito, their rude on the phone. Nobody speaks English. So I guess I need to be Mexican to communicate with the workers. Everytime i go there, my order is wrong because they don't speak ENGLISH. I don't go for months at a time and my order is still wrong.

Lets start off by saying Im not a very picky eater. Ok, so here it goes….I waited for 10 minutes in the drive thru (there was only one car ahead of me and not to many people in the dining room) I ordered a very simple order of 5 rolled tacos with Guacamole and an Horchata. The tacos looked great they were overly smothered with the fake avocado that tasted like it was powdered at one point and was not mixed well. It tasted awful. The meat in the rolled tacos were by far over seasoned it just did not blend right at all. My horchata (which I love horchata!!)Tasted like it was made with pure sugar I could not enjoy this meal or drink at all. I will not go back to this place and that is a bummer because I work right across the street from it.

Came here on a Sunday evening. Ordered a torta de adobada and they have asada, didn't realize until I got home since I did drive thru. It was plain didn't have any flavor and the bread was not toasted or anything. I had to add some ingredients at home like sour cream, cheese and lemon to add flavor to it but it sum didn't taste good. Will not be coming back

Male cashier needs to work on friendly & courtesy service and better communication skills on all delays. Didn't thank you for your purchase or appologize for the delays. I give it 1 star because the food was honestly cold, i had order a asada burrito the tortilla was cold also the meat as well, i order to dine in and it wasn't even busy at all so i dont see why it wasnt cook properly. I haded to tell the cook if they could warm it up for me. it never happend to me before in another Alberts mexican food or any other place but here and it was my first time coming to this location and I had a bad experience.

They can't get my order right, and they get very upset when I point out that they messed up my order. The last thing I want after a long day at work is to arrive home after picking up my supper only to find out that these guys messed up my order AGAIN!

Been going since the age of 16 im 25 now, lately I have the worst luck where the cook/cashier gets my order wrong and of course I take it back due to being severely allergic to avocado. The cashier attempts to give “good” customer service but the rolling of the eyes is obvious. Today is the third time i take my food back(no attitude and with complete respect) and they look at me like a “karen.” Today 06/04/2020 the assistant cook (short, dark, always wearing a hat) i’m assuming, nothing but staring at me like i’m crazy and with hate, yelling at the head cook not to do it, insinuating that I’m there to get free food? The embarrassment. They lost a customer which means nothing to them, but people check your bags before leaving. By far the worse customer service ever.

Very disappointed. 3 plates for 38$ the super nachos hardly had meat and no sour cream and guacamole. Literally, a plate of nachos for almost 12$ I usually check when I'm there but I didn't this time. Very disappointing to come home to this sad plate.

I used to love that place but everything is drive-thru now when you get your food I've gotten the wrong order or you don't get the tortillas you ask for the order gets messed up that's happened to me three times already I come home put my pajamas on and get ready to have some good food and then it's not what I ordered I called them nobody answers the phone I may try it one more time or I'll go somewhere else

Went in yesterday, and they were busy so I decided to come back after the rush. Came back in and ordered a veggie wet burrito with green sauce. Opened the bag and see a dry burrito so I asked and they took it filled my bag with green sauce and made the wet burrito with red sauce and smashed the container so it would spill. (I thought it was a container of sauce until I got back to my car and opened the bag) walked right back in & just asked for my money back. These employees knew what they did because they proceeded to ignore me standing there while they filled up containers of red and green sauce so I waved to him and he sends over the drive thru employee who couldn’t speak English at all. This will definitely be the last time I go here. They mess with you on purpose if you don’t go in there speaking Spanish. Today my mother and brother went and they kept saying his card was declined even though there was more than enough in his account to pay for the meal. Then he proceeded to tell the girl working tonight in Spanish about me going in there yesterday. I have no idea what this guys problem is but I think the health inspector needs to visit this place it’s dirty they have poor standards when it comes to food handling and there’s always trash everywhere here. Yet their employees manage to have time to be on their phones and touching food without washing their hands, the list goes on. I always ignored the vermin inside and outside because I’ve been going here for years but I think it’s about time to close down and remodel and change their attitudes. I’m sure the owner can replay the videos and see how they treat English speaking patrons. You just lost a family of customers that continued to provide you with business throughout the pandemic. Over a veggie wet burrito with green sauce too. Not sure what set them off, but I tried being diligent with them and I even left and came back at a later time because I knew you were busy and this is how you treat me? Don't come here! The guy in the drive thru window rips you off with the money! he pockets $1.29 the super fries are $11.99 and with tax it's $12.89 ok well he charged me $12.89 for what it costs and ended up paying $14.18 total I didn't go back in there to confront him because I didn't want to get mad if I could rate lower than 1 star I would. Nobody likes to get ripped off don't come here . He will get his karma though.

I asked for sour cream and guacamole on the side the "manager" Ashley decided to put everything on the side the beans and meat as well my total came out to almost $50 and the way she served me my food was sloppy i called to complain and she gave me attitude that when i asked for everything one the side she took the initiative to not give me meat

I ordered the taquitos, They look like microwaved food. The taquitos were soft and felt like play dough. The meat was soft and look like taco bell meat. The only thing that gave them flavor was the guacamole and sour cream. I don’t recommend the taquitos here at this place however other food options are really good like the asada nachos.

had a asada burrito for myself and my mom had a fish taco. BOTH items were terrible. the onion in the fish taco was sour and tasted bitter and old. the burrito was even worse and gave me food poisoning. 0/10. do not recommend this place.

Poor quality and flavor. I ordered a carnitas torta and they only put meat and lettuce on it—more lettuce than meat, no tomato, no onion, nothing. Just the bread and the meat. And when you ask them if that's how it's supposed to be, they get annoyed.

I ordered the 10 piece taquitos. I was so disappointed. They served them burnt at all the ends. I was sharing with my dad. It had fake guacamole and lots of cheese that wasn't even melted. We only ate 3 and I threw the rest in the trash. Albert's food use to be good but for now I will never return. This location was on Imperial next to hospital in Downey. ( Old River school Rd).

They low-key suck here. I can come here anytime and it's so convenient being near my neighborhood but I chose not to because of the quality of food and service. Mainly a bunch of dudes who don't know what they're doing, can't make good food if their lives depended on it and idk how their job depends on it. They need to fire the whole crew and train some competent employees. Even the lady in the front looks over it, wonder what she has to deal with.

It took 5 men to realize my food was in a bag right in front of their face… horrible experience honestly. I came Friday the 21st around 10:30 and didn’t get my food till 11pm even tho I had ordered it ahead of time. This guy gave me two orders that weren’t mine. I repeated my name to him 3 times and all 3 times he walks away midway of me talking. Now I can’t eat my tacos because they’re falling apart and he didn’t even apologize for his multiple screw ups. asked for a torta and got the blandest thing. im pregnant so imagine my dissappointment when there was no tomatoe, no beans, no crema on my torta de asada. just lettuce and asada. i only get 30 minutes of lunch and if i had more time i would of gone back and asked for the rest of the ingredients. i have yet to have my torta craving fulfilled because this aint it.

Won't come here again, the meat was raw and super-sized berly had cheese. the guy was too in a hurry and got my taco order wrong. They don't offer cilantro and cebolla only picadio. Higher prices than other Albert's locations. I usually pat about 35$ the same order here was 12$ more. To top it off bad customer service with an extreme wait time.

And this last time I went they raised the price from $10 to $12.75 and my plate had a bunch of nerves and bones. I was disgusted and sad because I new it would be my last time coming here.. I never understood ones the government gives us a raise. Most places raises the price in there food... and then to top it off they use not quality products you guys lost my businesses...
