Excellent service!! Me and my family came here for family dinner to celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday. Overall, though it was a bit busy, we all enjoyed the food and we had an excellent server— Reed, who attended us well and was patient with the children. Thanks again!
Great visit! I’ve gone to numerous locations with family or friends and we’ve always had a good visit. Today was different, in a good way. There was a woman who was my server, perhaps around my age. I’d like to point out how she was able to take out just maybe 2-3 minutes for a genuine conversation. We talked about going in self-care dates. She noticed I was there alone, again just self-care time, and she started conversing with me. That’s appreciated on my end considering sometimes it’s nice to just chat about something simple and knowingly enough, she was busy, but she still took out a few minutes to converse. I know the servers are busy enough, but a conversation here and there is nice to see. I’d only imagine that it helps them chat a bit and not just see work as a place to run around all day as they already do. Thanks BJ’s team!
BJ’s in Dublin has become my favorite restaurant when returning from the Bay Area! The food is fantastic! I especially like their ribs! They are consistently prepared perfectly. They have a great varied menu. Their “Pizzuki” is a great way to top off the meal (if you have room!) If you’re too full, they can make it “to go,” so you can enjoy it later. My compliments to the cooking staff. I’m never disappointed.
Our server was Sarah and she was so wonderful!!! She was very quick with getting our food and beverage out quickly and she is very sweet! I tried the butterfinger pizookie and it was absolutely delicious! This location was fairly clean too and had such a nice ambiance. I felt so welcomed overall and most definitely will be returning
We came in last night to celebrate our son’s birthday with a party of 22. Our server Alyssa was friendly and attentive, considering we had such a large party she had exceptional service. The food was good and we also had a ton of pizookies at the end, everything went great. This was our family get together and that Dublin BJ’s was the midpoint. We’re very happy with our experience last night thanks Alyssa!!
Thomas was amazing. I really enjoyed his service! He basically ordered our food for us. My wife and I were visiting for the first time, and was unsure of what to order. Thomas suggested the Chicken Club sandwich and The Sampler. The food was excellent and we were happy to go with his recommendation. I cant wait for our next visit. Thank You for making this such a great dining experience!
I believe Kristin was our server and let me tell you def 5 star. Definelty should have been of been named quickly efficient. Would come back to be seated in her section anytime I’m looking for a great meal!
Came in on a Tuesday night and it was very busy! (5 dollar pazookie). I enjoyed my time with my wife thanks to our server but especially Sydney or Cindy who was the hostess! She was so nice and kind to us, I will definitely be back again!
Thomas was the Best server I've had at any restaurant! We were greeted right away! He took our order while dancing, which is something I've never seen before. He brought out our food while singing Kiss from a Rose by Seal, which was the highlight of the whole experience. Our Jambalaya was hot and spicy the way I like it. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to return and have him as a waiter again. It's amazing not having to wait 20 minutes for a server to greet us and another 15 for silverware. He took real good care of us.
Negena was the best server ever she was super nice And such a vibe. She helps us even though it wasn’t her section. Please give her a raise. Also hosted staff could be better had us wait for 20 minutes at the front to get seated. had to seated ourselves and grab our own menus. lol.
We had a great experience at this BJ’s location. The food was amazing, I highly recommend the shrimp scampi 🍤🍝. We also took advantage of the Thursday meal deal, and got some tri-tip and a pizookie for a great deal. The service was exceptional with our very friendly, professional, considerate, and efficient server, Fernando L ⭐️, who made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out quick and delicious, and so did the drinks!! Thanks so much! 🙌🏼
I read the reviews and I was very hesitant about visiting the location. But I was like what the hell lets give it a go. We must of came on a good night because service was excellent. Our server Tom greeted us right way and took our order and he was absolutely amazing. The Avocado egg rolls were so delicious . We didn't wait a million years for drinks. He came by to check on us periodically, and I love that. He honestly should be running the restaurant because he gets the job done with style and grace. My girlfriends enjoyed our nigh out and will be coming back very soon.
One of rare places in Dublin / Pleasanton area where I know I can always have a good dinner with great beer for reasonable price. It is popular. Usually it is hard to get a table without reservation but getting a place for 1-2 persons in bar with same menu options as a table is not a problem.
Came in on 8/13/25 around 4pm for my first visit to BJ’s. I don’t remember the name of the server who helped us (wish I wrote it down!) but he was amazing. The food was great, but honestly the service stood out even more. He was handling 6+ tables at once and still managed to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed or ignored. Super impressed and I’ll definitely be back, mostly because of how great the service was.
We had a wonderful dinner with Tyler serving us like we were VIPs! He is personable and so helpful with suggestions. I had the Pizookie meal deal Fried chicken with a s'mores style - it was excellent. We also used the Tuesday special for $5 Pizookies, and they were all tasty, but perhaps a tad overcooked. The manager came around to check on us, and the hostess was extra helpful. All around a lovely time!
Brian is a very very professional and awesome waiter. His energetic way of serving giving us a very positive and happy dining experience. we haven't see a waiter with such a positive attitude for a long time. Food might not be the best, but its not bad. We will definitely be back. Thank you Brian!!
Came to enjoy dinner with coworkers. We ordered avocado egg rolls, crispy calamari, chip and dip trio, and french fries for appetizers. For dinner we ordered slow roasted sirloin and baby back ribs, California chicken club, fresh Atlantic salmon, enlightened seared ahi salad, chicken protein bowl, mahi mahi tacos, Bacon, avocado burger. Over all most of the team was happy with the experience.
9-27-24 Prices have gone way up but that's not unusual in California. Definitely means taking advantage of one of their deals or happy hour is a good strategy. Definitely don't recommend the pretzel. Presentation is fun but taste and texture is pretty close to a frozen costco pretzel. Not terrible but definitely not worth ordering at that price. The unlucky duck in the bathtub was quite fun and larger than I thought it would be. Brian our server was very pleasant and helpful. 2-12-21 Today's experience was all for the good. Our server was pleasant and she gave amazing recommendations including my sandwich which was a custom job that's her favorite. The wife also loved her jambalaya recommendation. I had to give it a lesser rating due to a pretty bad brunch experience just now. The pancakes were chewy and unappealing and the California Scramble was bland and boring. On the plus side the mimosas were tasty and $4 and the bartender was pleasant. We normally enjoy the food at this place for lunch or dinner but they clearly need more practice cooking breakfast foods.
I love to eat here at BJ's! Great food and atmosphere for the family and watching sports. On Sunday I came here to eat lunch with a few friends while watching the football games. Around 1 o'clock was a busy hour and are wait was about 40 minutes. We were then seated and the lady Sarah B did a awesome job placing are orders and serving us. I ordered the original wings bone in, those are so delicious and very big juicy sized wings. I also ordered the shareable pizza which was so yummy. The crust could had been more crispy but I still enjoyed it. The mojito and long Island were good drinks, not too watered down and consistency in the flavor was there. I liked the mojito a little better, the long Island needed more to it. As far as keeping the restaurant clean they did a good job that day wiping down all the tables and floor spot free. Overall I really enjoyed my meal and will be back!
Came Sunday night at 8:30. The restaurant was understaffed; the waiters and waitresses were busy and over worked. Our waitress came to help from the bar and she deserved a big tip. The appetizer came with three tiny sticks of celery for four people. The knifes were dirty, dried sauce marks on blades. It was vastly understaffed that servers ran around avoiding eye contact. It was hard to get help. I ended up washing my knife in the bathroom.
the food here is decent. but it took so long for me and my mom to receive our main entrees. after that we ordered our dessert and it took 30 minutes for it come. we asked our server to bring us a plate and ranch, he didn't even bring us that. instead, we had to tell another waiter and she brought us what needed almost immediately. we asked to get our check with the desert and we sat their for an additional 20 minutes. we had been sitting here for about two hours, whereas a party of three that came in after us got served and left as we sat waiting for our desserts. my mom went to use the restroom and she came back telling me that there was no toilet paper OR soap in the restroom. i would never recommend this place to anyone.
It was our first visit to BJ’s in Dublin. The staff was kind, and our server — who was new — was being helped by another team member, which we appreciated. We went for lunch and ordered drinks that were extremely sweet. We also ordered chicken nachos, which were far too salty. The wings — lemon pepper and pickle flavor — were quite oily, even though the lemon pepper ones were supposed to be dry. For the main course, we had the Parmesan Herb Crusted Chicken, which unfortunately lacked flavor. The pizza was probably the only item we somewhat enjoyed, though we didn’t finish much of it either. Overall, the food didn’t meet our expectations. The service was friendly, but the taste and quality were disappointing, so we wouldn’t recommend this location based on our first experience.
Horrible left before even getting seen by a waiter. Two hostess standing around and they pointed to a table a told us to find it, did not walk us to our table in the back. Didnt give us menus. The table was dirty and seats were wet with soda and had crumbs on the table and the seats. Waited 10 mins know o e showed up to give us any service. We go to use the restroom and its filthy. My husband said the men's rooms didnt look like it had been more then whipped down quickly in a long time. Didn't stay to find out if the kitchen was just as dirty as the booth and bathrooms!!! Crazy bad!! And left with out ever being given service or even a menu!! Looks fancy. But horribly ran!! And I cant imagine what that means for quality!!!!
I'm usually not one to write reviews, but my experience at BJ's Brewhouse was absolutely appalling. This place seems to be a last resort for many, and unfortunately, it shows. Every time I've been there, it's because we're out late and can't think of anywhere else open late in the area. The lack of effort in providing decent service is staggering. Tonight was the final straw. We walked in around 10 pm, and the place was relatively empty. We were greeted, but not shown to a table. We stood there for over 10 minutes, waiting to be seated, so we sat ourselves in the bar area. The staff seemed more interested in looking at each other and chatting than attending to the customers. It was like we were invisible. When we finally realized no one was going to help us, we approached the hostess stand, which was not surprisingly abandoned. What really took the cake was seeing the employees standing around, folding napkins, and staring at each other. It was like they were waiting for a memo that said, "Hey, it's okay to ignore customers and focus on napkin-folding instead." It was infuriating. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, we had enough. With no effort made to rectify the situation or even check in with us, we stood up and left. No tip, no goodbye, just a swift exit. BJ's Brewhouse needs to re-evaluate its priorities. If you're going to stay open late, you need to have staff who are willing to work and provide decent service. It's not rocket science. Customers are the lifeblood of any business, and BJ's seems to have forgotten that. Until they hire staff who actually care about providing good service, I'll be taking my business (and my late-night hunger) elsewhere.
They had a younger looking kid who helped us and he was horrible. Ordered our drinks and he took so long to come back, and when he did come back he told us he was going on break :| We ordered a lucky ducky drink and it never came, and they gave us diet drinks when we ordered normal drinks. To top it all off, we got our food from other services who couldn’t help us. We ordered the Alfredo and it was just not good in taste. But we never got checked up on to say something so my girlfriend didn’t even get a good dinner and left hungry. We ended up getting tyler as our waiter after so long of waiting. He was very thoughtful and helpful and he apologized knowing we never got our drink, waited really long for help, and couldn’t even eat a quarter of our food because we were so upset and unhappy about our experience. I’ve never had a restaurant leave me so disappointed and out of appetite. Tyler did offer a pizookie on them, but it was really too late for us to enjoy it. We were able to take it home but they still didn’t give us a good cookie. It looked so sad. This isn’t our first time experiencing this either. I just regret thinking we should go back for date night. Date night ruined unfortunately. I can’t believe I had to pay $79 for this. I get Tyler was doin his job but no way would I come back. I wished this restaurant would be better. I just can’t come back after this experience.
Come here only if you want to have a BAD experience and waste money and time!! They were out of Mango, Coconut cream, Broccoli cheddar soup, dip for chips, steak and so many more things!! That too on Friday @ 7pm 😒 so only a few drink and food options were available!! Food took 1 hour to come and all appetizers and main entree came together. Drink also almost came with food 😐 they didn’t even give serving spoons!! On top of it the food wasn’t good at all!! Broccoli wasn’t even washed properly, check the shared pics for pizza quality and other things 😐 It’s just a waste of money and time..
