Opiniones de Brewport El Segundo
EDIT: as of July 20,2025 even though it says temporarily closed, it’s actually now PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Which is sad considering it’s the last one in the state. Old review from before it closed: Loved it, it’s a cold stone and blimpie co brand store! Its way better than subway and Jimmy John's. Got the grilled chicken sub and it was amazing. And the sugar cookies were soft and good. It's a shame I had to drive from Victorville all the way to the beach to get it but it was totally worth it. Our blimpie here in Victorville closed years ago. Please come back to the high desert or at least rancho Cucamonga. Also this is the last blimpie subs left in Southern California
OMG ! I haven't had one of these sandwiches in over 20 years! I've missed this company and it was Just as good as I remembered! The service was a little slow cause it was just one server but being that it was a sunday i will give them a pass cause the server was very nice. I recommend this place and I WILL BE GOING BACK!
Why oh why did they close all the other Blimpie’s
I willl become ceo of blimpie
Great people and awesome sandwiches.
Sandwiches were flavorful
Great selection of brews here. Always go for the tap and they do have a cap but you can always go to the front to reactivate for more. The food is amazing here and i never really get bored of it. Staff has always been good and always checks up to make sure we are good.
Very unique brew experience. We came in, essentially opened a tab, they give you a wristband. Find the beer or wine you want, scan you wristband, pour your drink and it measures the fluid ounces....when your done you close out the tab based only on what and how many ounces you poured! What food we did have was good. Great vibe after 1730 and a wonderful location.
Very friendly service. Good prices. Big portions for kids' menu (cookie included not pictured in our photos). Patient with our one and three year olds. We didn't try the self serve tap beers this time but there was a very large selection. Big space (with options for private events). Games to borrow and play.
I came here to celebrate my bday. Loved it! The owner Pat was so helpful in reserving the back location. The manager Zane and our server Maggie went above and beyond to help us. The taco bar and the burgers were amazing! This was my first time coming and I will definitely be coming back!
This is such a fun spot! We celebrated an adult birthday here and were pleasantly surprised by how kid friendly it was. The kiddos didn't want to leave- there were so many games for them to play and an amazing selection of drinks- both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I personally was super excited that they had the sparkling italian red. The lobster roll was delicious according to those in our group who had it. I had the shrimp and chips and the shrimp were big and juicy. The kiddos loved the kids menu- and the chocolate cookie was apparently the best part of the meal. We will be back!
Great self pour tap house right near the airport. Didn’t opt for the wall of beers but everything I didn try was good including the peanut butter lager the waiter recommended. Burger and chicken sandwich we tried were good along with the soft pretzel. Definitely a good bar to try out
This place is a requirement for any craft beer fan in the South Bay. I love this place if for no other reason than the concept of pour-for-yourself tastings. Any beer lover who's looked at a loaded craft beer list at a restaurant can appreciate the ability to randomly sample multiple choices and pour as much as you want of each of your choices. I was disappointed by the burger and fries, but enjoyed the food there years ago. Go for the beer and the unmatched control you have over your beer choices, and maybe some food if the beer doesn't fill you up.
Stopped in for a late lunch on Friday with family. I had been to a casino before with similar pour your own craft beer, but this was definitely a unique concept, as the beer was all local to the area, which is even better. It's a decent size bar with 2 separate areas, 1 microbrew (self-serve stations) and back room bar (beer/liquor). Great selection of micro beers on tap (someone was present changing out kegs when needed), great food (nachos with potato chips, what?!), and great service!!
Brewport Brewery is a fantastic spot for beer lovers and comedy enthusiasts alike. They have "comedy night" on the first Wednesday of every month. They bring in some great comics, and the atmosphere is always lively and fun. What sets Brewport Brewery apart from other venues is their innovative approach to serving drinks. With their unique bracelet system, you can pour your own beer, wine, cider, or even spiked kombucha from a tap. It's a great way to try out new drinks and explore the wide variety of options available. Their menu is limited, but everything we've tried has been delicious. Especially, their cast iron brownie & cookie. Yum!! The staff at Brewport Brewery is also incredibly friendly and helpful. They are always willing to offer recommendations and answer any questions you may have about the food, drinks, or the venue. Overall, Brewport Brewery is a five-star destination that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out. Whether you're a beer connoisseur, a comedy fan, or just looking for a great time, Brewport Brewery has something for everyone. So don't miss out on their comedy night and be sure to try out their amazing bracelet system – you won't be disappointed!
I have drove by this spot several times, but this is my first time stopping by and seeing what this place is all about. Upon arriving to this place, I was greeted to one of the most dynamic collections of Craft beer you could find without going to a BevMo or Total Wine. I bought a couple cans (see picture below) then my friends and I decided to stay and grab a bite to eat. The food was very delicious and the staff very welcoming. As out first time there, they made sure we were enjoying our experience and even recommended different foods and drinks that go hand and hand. Knowing what this place has to offer, we will definitely be back for more great food, friendly staff members and CRAFT BEER!!!
Amazing bar it is very modern with many many beer selections. As you walk in to this bar/restaurant they will put a wristband on your hand so you can use it to self-serve your choice of beets. The beer selection is large and the stouts were my favorite. As you approach a beer, put your wristband next to the bar's logo and it'll pour as much as you like and link it to your tap. Also a wine selection is available. Liked it very much and would return, in conclusion the tap tots from the food menu were 5 stars, best I've had!
A low key self-pour brew house with more than just a selection of craft beers. Nice surprise to find selections of wine, cider & sake on the wall as well. From full pints and glasses to flights for both beer & wine, the experience is 100% choose your own adventure! Great spot to wrap up a day watching sports, catching up with friends, and grabbing a bite to eat. And for a surprise you wouldn’t expect: get the shrimp & chips…enormous, full-sized prawns!
Went to the car show and stopped here for lunch. You sign in and receive a bracelet that allows you to pour your own been. It keeps track of the pours and charges you accordingly. Had the fish and chips and they were fine. Also had the lobster salad. The croutons were stale 😣. Otherwise the sale was fine. Beers were good but with such a large selection it’s a bit overwhelming for the first time visitor. Guess I’ll have to come back. Service was fine.
Blimpie food is so overpriced I mean really but I have to say I tried a sandwich chicken sandwich I forgot the name of it but it was damn good. So we won't damn good this place is okay. Don't forget to bring your wallet. Since it's nothing like a Subway price
Great beer selection and the staff are great. I am not a fan of their food, they have a new menu and I had the vegan sloppy Joe and couldn’t even finish it.
Small sandwiches at a high price and who just throws microwaved dry meatballs on sauce? Basicly an 8$ 4 inch sub
This specific one never seems to have the items I ask for.
I am baffled that this place managed to get 4.6 stars. The service was inexcusably rude and aloof. The food was ridiculous. We got the black garlic habanero crispy chicken sandwich with a side of tater tots and the brisket and Mac n cheese (it came with corn and corn bread). The chicken sandwich was cold and too sweet. The chicken itself was dry. The tater tots were fine, nothing wrong there. The brisket was mostly fat and it was bland. The Mac n cheese was also bland - the sauce tasted like it had been watered down. The corn bread was completely uncooked. I was shocked. It was like they made corn bread dough then microwaved it for 10 seconds. Avoid this place at all costs
I'm not sure I have anything good to say about the place. I'm trying because I rarely write poor reviews and it was my first time there so I wanted to like it. The food was awful. The bartender didn't know how to make drinks. My tab for just myself for 3 drinks and terrible, tiny, 2 shrimp tacos was $90. $90- See my receipt. Oh and I came in with a big bottle of water and asked for a cup with ice for my water. They charged me $4 for that cup of ice. Ridiculous. The tacos were so tiny the shell fell apart even before trying to pick it up. I had to ask for a fork to eat a taco. Yup, a fork to eat a taco. My friend asked for a cranberry and vodka and got it in a rocks glass which was correct but it was only 1/4 full as if it was considered a martini but put in the wrong glass. She had to ask to fill the rest with cran. I wanted a glass of scotch. They had 2 options. Glenn Fiddich and Macallan. What a joke and a way to pump up someone's bar tab. I then asked for a Jack and Diet and got it in a tall soda glass although I didn't ask for a double tall nor a double for it to be in a pint glass. I had one chicken wing that my friend ordered and it was nothing special. I asked my other friend about their burger and they said it was just okay. It didn't look special either. It's definitely bar food at it's worst. Oh and the ladies room is a bit creepy. There's a random table in there that looks like a slab in a morgue. Just a wierd setup in there. I'm sorry to even write this negative review but it disappoints me to pay $100 for terrible service, food and drinks. As they say...one and done.
