I ordered catering for 150 staff at a local high school. Their owner, Tim, was absolutely amazing to work with, from start to finish. He was helpful in suggesting quantities and recommending their top-selling sandwiches. I wound up ordering seven of their 6-foot long subs, each with a different meat/cheese combo. If you’ve never ordered their 6-footers before, all I can say is DO IT! Talk about a WOW factor. Each of the 6-footers was securely placed on a wooden plank which had been wrapped in tinfoil. Each sub was cut into 30, secured with toothpicks, and wrapped in Saran. I was able to transport them all easily. On the side Tim included mayo, mustard, and all the toppings so people could build their own sub. I heard multiple rave reviews from the staff, with many exclaiming, “it’s the best sub I’ve ever had in my life”.

Such a great sandwich spot. Found this little gem years ago on Yelp and we stop by whenever we're in the area. Stopped in today for lunch and they're still serving up great deli style subs. Love their squaw bread. Very reasonable prices. Owner seems to be a kind hard-working man. Will be back!

This is the best east coast style sub shop around for sandwiches and hoagies! Don’t be fooled by the hole in the wall look. My go to is the Italian. It’s the perfect food to grab on the way to the beach. Also the owner and and sandwiches makers always seem nice.

Absolutely delicious! Usually go for Jersey Mike's but felt like trying something new and we weren't disappointed. The squaw bread and sprouts really made the difference and the wife and I will definitely be back.

That might have been the best submarine sandwich I’ve had in years. My wife and I shared the medium #16 - turkey and avocado - on their squaw bread. It was fantastic. Everything seemed extremely fresh. Plenty big enough for a small on-the-go lunch we wanted. Came to about $10 with a drink.

Simple, no frills sandwich shop with about 3 dozen sandwich choices. But don’t be intimidated by the choices, it’s basically the same 7 or 8 ingredients. Fresh bread would be the upgrade I’d recommend here.

I have heard that this Subman sandwiches were good. But I went to eat last Saturday and it was not what I was expecting. I think the Cali Subway is better than this sandwich that I ate! :/

Then they charged an additional 4% without telling me or having any notices printed. (Credit card companies only charge 3.5%, I've never seen anyone charge 4% for using a card!) Then they ask for tips? I'm not tipping the owner of a restaurant, tips used to be for waiters and waitresses who are paid less than minimum wage, not for greedy restaurant owners. Unimpressed.

He asked for confirmation multiple times (more than twice) in an unnecessary way, which felt dismissive rather than helpful. On top of that, my specific request was not acknowledged at all. Good food isn’t enough when the service makes customers feel uncomfortable or unheard. I won’t be returning unless there’s a clear improvement in how customers are treated.

I politely let them know that a long hair was in my food and I showed them. They offered a refund which i appreciated. The man who seemed to be the owner begrudgingly gave me the refund saying to his team “we don’t give refunds” so I appreciated them making it right. I offer to give the sub back but they said don’t worry. Another team member eventually came to my table to take the sub away from me, but I didn’t see a problem with that. I said “accidents happen” and went to a different restaurant. I met with buddies who were still sitting there after I left and they told me I was accused of putting the hair there myself. They didn’t even talk amongst themselves, a team member actually went up to my friends and told them this. I went back in to the shop upset and I walk in to see the owner still holding the hair ready to accuse me. I would have never written them review, even with how disgusting it was to have an almost 20in strand of hair in my food. But because of how disrespectful and accusatory the staff and owner were I can’t hold my tongue. PS. the sub was gross and they use Smart and Final Meatballs.
