Big Zeus Barbecue

Tried the fried chicken and banana pudding on my third visit to Big Zues. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked and had a nice taste, crispy skin. And it had a tasty seasoning. The banana pudding had nice taste. Tonight was my second trip to Big Zues. I ordered the Smoke Turkey meal with corn bread, salt potatoes, and fried okra. The cornbread had a wonderful taste. The smoked turkey was cooked perfectly, fork tender, and had a great taste. It was also the first time I had fried okra. It had a great taste. The smoked turkey quesadilla was delicious, and the sauce that came with it was good. Today was the first time I've tried Big Zues barbecue. I ordered the burnt ends sandwich and the Mac and cheese. The burnt ends sandwich with house made barbecue sauce had a nice flavor and cooked perfectly. I would put it on a sub roll rather than a potato roll. The Mac and cheese was creamy with a good taste. They have many items I look forward to trying. I like what they did with the interior of the place, it seems like there is more room inside than the previous occupant. Good food I will definitely be back.

Big Zue’s is a BBQ lovers dream!! They make all the meats you’d expect to find, pork, ribs, brisket, burnt ends etc. The sides are fresh and excellent. The store is nearly always packed … they will take phone orders if you want to cut down on the wait time. The staff is friendly and courteous; they work very hard to fill orders quickly and it is very worth any wait 🙂 There is limited seating — it’s more of a take-out spot. Definitely give them a try!!

Food is amazing, staff super friendly and helpful, makes sure your order is accurate and it’s fast! Will be returning and enjoying as long as zues is opened! Love the decorations in the location as well so glad to see this food is doing amazing supporter always!

Tender and tasty! We got brisket and ribs. Brisket is my normal go to, but since it was a special day, their grand opening, I wanted to try the ribs! That will be a new go to for us!

Nice having a BBQ place so close to home. Over time I've tried the fried chicken, Mac Daddy, Brisket meal plate, fried okra and collard greens. Allllll good! My only complaint was the pea sized serving of cornbread that came with the meal plate. For something so tasty wish that wasn't so small haha

We tried the new Endwell location and experienced excellent service! I highly recommend the brisket plate, Fried okra, Mac cheese, and Tater tots! An absolute delight to the senses! So happy they're right in our neighborhood. We will be back very soon.

My kids finish their plates when they get Zues, we all do in fact 🙃 Never a let down, don’t have to worry that the food might not be right after spending your hard earned money to be able to go out to eat. He does it right! The staff in Endwell, are awesome folk! Wham is a sweetheart. Thanks as always Zues and crew!

Opening weekend had the burnt ends and Mac and cheese. Absolutely fabulous. Second weekend ordered the 8 piece fried chicken and loved that as well. So excited you are just down the road from my home.

That being said, I ordered the 3 meats/3 sides today on my way home. The staff were friendly and the wait was minimal. The brisket was perfectly tender, good smoke ring and flavor! The fried chicken that I asked for extra crispy was cooked to my liking, thank you. The breading is light, which is great! The flavor was good and the portion seemed fair. Unfortunately the burnt ends were not what I’m used to at the other location or at home. Very tough, to the point I couldn’t chew most of it. The French fries have flavorful seasoning and are cooked perfectly. Corn bread to top it off hit the spot.

Good was ok nothing great. Got home and was missing a large part of the order, multiple sides. Had to go back to get it.

Good food but without fail every other time I go there is a closed sign on the door, outside of hours listed on Google

So was handed an extremely greasy bag, with only half of the order... by the time I got home I had realized it and the bun was soaking with grease I could only eat the pork off of it... and the mac and cheese was meh.... was really looking forward to trying Zues too

This is a new BBQ place in Endwell NY. I am giving this review low marks for multiple reasons. First, I placed an on line pick up order, I arrived when it should be ready and then had to wait over a half hour past the agreed time. Next the food. Since this is a new place I decided to try a sampling of their menu. Three meats and four sides. The pulled pork was terrible, very little pulled pork mainly chunks of fatty meat. No BBQ sauce and was not told to pick up any before I left. Next the spare ribs, so fatty couldn't even eat them. Next the brisket, okay but very well done and leathery. The smoked turkey was pretty good. Next the sides, onion rings were soaked in grease and soggy. The collard greens were okay until I found a bone in the dish, yuck! The tater tots and Mac and cheese was pretty good. But overall I was not impressed. Maybe because just opened and haven't gotten all the bugs out yet. But I was very disappointed and will not be going back for a long time
