Every time we go, or take out, we are so happy we opted in. Everything we’ve had has been really fresh and delicious from salad to sandwiches to pizza. Nice wine selection. Easy going and genuine people who make great food- what else can you want! Bravo
Best pizza I've ever had since Italy, not sure any pizza in New York can beat it, would 100% go again
Just wow! We're lucky to have caught this place randomly before going home. The food here is PHENOMENAL! Wife and I had a white sangria (yes it's strong), truffle pizza and meatball panuozzo with plenty to take home! Definitely worth coming back here again! Btw please make room for dessert, the homemade gelato here is worth coming for by itself!
The pizza is extremely flavorful, the dough is perfect (cooked in a woodfire grill) and the sauce is balanced perfectly against the toppings. The service was pretty good but we had some delay in getting our check, forgivable since only one person was waiting tables. Service: 9.5/10, Food: 10/10!
It was our first time to try their pizza. We try their Mortadella and Crudo Pizza. Taste great not like the usual pizza. The place feels so cozy, nice and clean. Yes we just pick up our food buy The nice lady who assist us is very much welcoming and friendly. All in all we surely come again to dine in.
My god, if you are reading this review and on the fence on whether or not to take a risk on this restaurant just stop. Go there, call up, dial up your interwebz, whatever you gotta do. Get this places pizza and you won’t regret it. If your looking for the standard issue Long Island $15 pie, this isn’t it. This will be the thin, crunchy, chewy crust you can only rarely find outside of Napoli. Just do it.
Ive had the food twice and it’s pretty good. There are a-lot of better options locally but the food is worth checking out. Restaurant is nothing special, more of a fancier pizza parlor. However the Owner i met was not super friendly but he is from naples area of italy. Which alot of these italian places you find Albanians running them in NY. The Italians know their food best ! Worth checking out, very very casual.
I pass this place all the time on the way home and today I figured I'll give it a try! The restaurant looks pretty small but the environment feels very clean and relaxing atmosphere. However they are pretty pricey. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza for $16, I wasn't that impressed by the look of the pizza, and they don't slice the pizza either. I thought maybe the taste would be worth the price but it wasn't. It was very mediocre and underwhelming. I probably wouldn't go here again. The other items they have such as pastas, etc might be good, but in terms of pizza, it didn't leave me a lasting impression.
I came here years ago and the food was good. Today I ordered here and got a margarita pizza the eight slice 17 inch but was given a rectangular pizza(?) and was given some kind of pasta that they said was just like baked ziti, but has a different pasta and with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese (baked ziti was not on the menu). Im sorry to say, but I would not come back. The food did not taste good at all, not like it did a few years back when I had dined in. I paid $60 for my food. The pasta had no likeness to any kind of baked ziti, it looked like there was no cheese, just pasta, and there was what seemed to be eggplant in it (it ended up that it was not eggplant, it was chicken (I’m a vegetarian) and there was garlic all over it ( the lady on the phone never mentioned it having garlic or chicken). It tasted terrible. I was told it was a “special”. Pizza from a gas station tastes better than what they gave me. I had asked for plates and napkins but was only given plates. The gentleman (manager?) behind the counter asked me several times if I lived around here and if I’ve ever ate there. I have no idea why he inquired several times. But I’m sorry they’ve lost a customer today from expensive food that tastes mediocre.. Want really good margarita pizza? Go to VI Pizza in Bayside, Queens.. It’s incredible. Edited 2/21/25 yesterday when I got home I called them and they told me they tried contacting me to let me know (? I didn’t receive any calls)they gave me the wrong pasta. They said they were very sorry and asked for my address to make it right. Their delivery came to my door within half an hour to 45 minutes later and I received baked ziti ( my daughter said it tasted like baked ziti so that’s a plus) and they gave us an order of complimentary zeppoli with Nutella(very nice gesture for them to do that) The zeppoli was on the hard side, not like the soft zeppoli we get from carnivals, but again, it was a very nice gesture. Forgot to take pictures of the delivery order but my daughter was happy to see and eat baked ziti.
Disappointed by the Experience I visited this restaurant for the first time expecting a classic Chicken Parmigiana, but what I received was a chopped-up version of the dish—more like a chicken cutlet "cake" than the traditional presentation. At $24.95, I expected a well-executed entrée, and was surprised to learn that pasta was not included—it cost an additional $5. No bread was served with the meal either, which felt odd given the price point. The glass of wine was $14, which might be reasonable in a high-end setting, but the overall atmosphere and service didn’t reflect that level of dining. It felt more like a pizza place trying to present itself as upscale without delivering on the basics that justify that experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this spot for dinner and won’t be returning.
Honestly the pizza here personally sucked to me. A lot of people say the pizza is delicious and super authentic and I do agree that it is authentic “Italian” pizza BUT the crust is too much. It’s barely any sauce or toppings all you taste is crust. Wish the pizzas had more coverage on top and less bread. We ordered a bunch of pies and 7/10 of my family members said they wouldn’t eat it again. I would give it a second try if somebody bought it but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.
This is my second time writing this review because for some reason it was taken down the first time. I ordered pizza dough and tomato sauce and toppings from this place for a family pizza making activity at home. This is not the first time we've done this, but usually his wife was the one helped us. This time the husband was there and we ordered 8 pizza doughs and a quart of tomato sauce and some anchovies that were not provided. We got some buffalo mozzarella and pepperoni slices. He charged us $250 USD. This is the most ridiculous scam I've ever heard of. I do not recommend this place. And shame on them for overcharging!
They charged me almost 250 USD (with tip + tax) for eight pizzas. We ordered dough, mozzarella cheese, anchovies, and pepperoni for exactly eight pizzas (to cook at home). As a foreigner to Long Island, I thought the prices were normal until my girlfriend warned me (after I paid). Unfortunately, they charged us 31.25 per pizza and did not even give us the anchovies (which we realized after driving home). I would be cautious if you are buying from there - make sure to check prices at other places; ensure that everything you order is delivered and in the correct amount.
