I've always gone to this Applebees so it's strange to review it after all these years but it's honestly about time I did. People may joke that Applebees is Sports-Bar-Denny's but honestly when you just want to get a reliable meal you can ALWAYS count on them to provide. This last visit I got a half rack of ribs and a non-alcoholic version of the shark bowl. As always, it was a very satisfying meal! My one complaint? Geneseo's Applebees always has a strange atmosphere because of the blend of college kids, the occasional racist old person, sports nuts that want to watch the game but don't want to go to a full on bar, and young locals who escaped the small town but came back to visit 😂. It's like the Russian Roulette of restaurant vibes every time.

The steak was amazing, as well as the service from Kaylyn. She was very attentive and friendly, and made sure my food was cooked to order. Kudos to the line cook making my steak, it was perfect!

Sam, the delight that you are. My friend and I haven't seen each other and wanted to catch up over some food and what better place than Applebee's? Well, Sam made our night a thousand times better. He was joking with us, always checking in, being SO polite and helpful. He even helped me with my dessert selection (as noted below) because I don't like nuts and chocolate can be overwhelming sometimes. I seriously hope he's getting the recognition he deserves for being such an amazing employee! I hope you're reading Sam, you're my favorite!

We stopped in for a birthday dinner on a Saturday evening and were seated immediately. The service and food were both excellent. I enjoyed their Bourbon Street Steak entree and would highly recommend it! It is served hot on a sizzling platter. The margarita that I had with dinner was also very good and reasonably priced. It was great to stop by for dinner with family, as always. Mashed potatoes with the top sirloin steak and green beans were terrific and their cheese artichoke and spinach dip with chips is so good. Son ordered ribs with fries and mozzarella sticks and enjoyed them a lot. The only reason I didn't put all 5 stars for food is that the chicken salad had not-so-fresh leaves this time (you could tell by the cut edges of the pieces) and tasted weird as if they stored in a bleach-washed dish or something and same goes for their coleslaw, so next time I probably will not be ordering that, unless they will improve it.Other than that everything else was tasty.

Other then being frozen by the air conditioning lol, it was great service and fast. Food was good for the price, we went after 9pm so appetizers are half off, pretty much had full meals off of the appetizers and brought food home.

I don’t remember my waitresses name but she was awesome. Every employee in the facility seemed to be in a great mood. The food came out looking amazing and tasted delicious and again my waitress was a total badass made sure drinks were filled and everything was as it should’ve been.

I think our server was new as service should have been much better. Nevertheless, the food was good and exactly what you would expect at an Applebees. I like the fact that they have Gluten-Free options.

Left home hangry🫣 to run errands and decided to eat before going grocery shopping... sat at the bar this time as there was a wait to get a table and we just wanted a quick bite. The bartender (Chantel) was on top of refills and getting our food in a reasonable time. All around a much better experience vs our 1st visit. We did the 2x for $26... split the spinach artichoke dip and we both got the cheese burger🍔 and I added bacon🥓 to mine. Everything was cooked and seasoned well... so for $39 with tax and tip, we were pretty happy.

Ended up with a very good steak.. the journey to this steak was long and silly. Called order in after leaving Wegmans, pulled up early and settled in for the wait. A very nice young lady came out to apologize that what my wife and I ordered was not available.. we laughed and ordered the steaks.. we asked if they had steak sauce put they were out that too... but the steaks were good.. overall not a bad meal at all. Wife and I were full and pleased. And thank you to the very nice young lady that had to run back and forth.

Fries were cold last 2 times I was here. It's like they don't make them fresh. They seem to keep them under a heating lamp. Also way to salty. Service was very good. Bartender Chris made me a fresh pot of coffee and anticipated I would need more creamer and sweet and low before I asked. That's very rare these days. I would give him a 10 just for those 2 acts of kindness and efficiency. 👍 ❤️

Onion rings were great, the ribs not so much a little on the dry side also were tough the sauce was good. The triple chocolate cake was very good.

I was not impressed with our order or service!! The waitress never checked on us nor bring us our coleslaw and dipping sauce as requested. When we finally got her attention she stated she forgot. The food was not hot and we never we able to get our second order in on an all you can eat boneless chicken wings. This is the second time that our pop service and food were a disappointment. I will not be returning 😞

I had the Lime Chicken with rice. The rice was not very flavorful. The chicken came over cooked, it was dry and chewy. I sent the order back and it came out a bit better but no where near as good as the last time I had it. The waitstaff was very helpful. She was a pleasure and we were happy with her service.

Generally hit or miss with service. Went last weekend and our waiter was amazing. Tonight, not so much. Waitress was kinda rude. Slammed my refill on the table, didnt bother checking about our food until after we were finished, my wife didnt get her refill until after she was finished. She order the triple cherry shirley temple and only got 1 cherry in her first and none in her refill. Then when we got the check, she didnt ask about a box (she had passed us numerous times without checking in, mind you not carrying anything) and when grabbing my card she snatched it rather rudely. It left a bad taste in our mouths as we got ready to leave.

Food was just ok. Hubby requested his burger be as red as they can make it. However there was absolutely no red. My chicken and shrimp was just ok. I could barely feel/taste the heat from being cooked. Needless to say we will not be going back to that Applebee's again 😒

Over all a good experience. We found the starter platter to be supppper greasy, like dripping in oil. My fried chicken was decent and my friends chicken salad was good too. Their beer was expensive imho $7USD for a glass, but all is good we were traveling so splurge. I would come back again but I would skip the starter platter for sure I think it's call the classic combo.

In all the years that my family has been going here we got really bad service and it was my daughter's birthday. The waitress was not good and it wasn't that busy. We asked for strawberry and yogurt for a little boy to come out with the soup because he was getting hungry and it ended up coming with the meal. We never saw our waitress that much while we were there and she didn't even bring our order to us we had someone else. She was lucky that we just didn't walk out with out paying for our order. My daughter's chicken tenders tasted like seafood. There was no one around to talk to about this either.

Be careful you don't get charged twice. I noticed on my banking statement that I was charged an extra 23 on top of my (57 +13 tip)70 bill. Be aware and check your statement before you leave. I did not order any alcohol.

I called for a Classic Combo. I would pick it up at 7pm tonight. I asked for a extra Spinach Dip and I would pay the extra. I got there, waited 6 minutes and got my food. I asked if the extra dip in there, and she said yes. It came to $31.84. The Combo is $18.49. I got home, opened the bag, the container had 4 mozzarella sticks, 4 chicken triangles, 6 boneless wings and a handful of tortilla chips! So, there was one container of spinach dip...and charged me $10.99 for it. So, there should have been a spinach dip that went with the combo!!! Expensive...and didn't get what I was suppose to get, and got charge for dip, that should have been in that $18.49 Combo. Unhappy.

I usually love the servers here but Taylor M was extremely rude, rushed us right out immediately after getting our food even tho we all said we were ok “for now” and talked smack about her tables while right next to us. Impolite from the jump and seemed pissed just to serve us. Don’t work in customer service then…

Waited 25 minutes for table order food waited over an hour for it to come out we order 2 for $25 bourbon street chicken and shrimp with mash potatoes the shrimp was cold and the chicken was bland no taste mashed potatoes were good

The atmosphere was as expected, our server seemed to be annoyed by us. They served bad broccoli(it was really old and had turned). Unfortunately they changed the recipe for the Mac and cheese the sauce was loose and very watered-down tasting. The Bourbon Street chicken was as expected it was really good, the cheeseburger, the chicken tenders with french fries were good, as well as the appetizers. Applebee's isn't what it used to be we will not be returning customers.

We ordered Steak to go ( 2 meals ) the potatoes were delicious, the green beans were delicious- the Shrimp, onion & mushroom were good. The Salad had more hard parts than lettuce. The Steaks were the WORST WE HAVE EVER HAD. The temp was medium rare & the food was hot ( we live 5 miles away ). The Steak couldn’t be chewed, couldn’t be cut. My Wife fed hers to the dog, mine was in need of a seraded knife and although she cut it into bite size pieces unfortunately it still couldn’t be chewed. Well that was $60 of disappointment. Chantel delivered the meals to the car & she was a ball of energy with just a lovely internal light & beautiful personality

I'm normally a easy to please customer. I very rarely complain about food. And I never take any mistakes out on the serving staff. I understand it was, and is next to never their fault. But I do have allergies and make sure to inform the staff of them before ordering and I always check my food before eating as this could be potentially fatal. Now today I had to send back a not only over cooked with pink hamburger that was cold inside but completely black and burned on the outside. But the replacement that came out after it was returned was burned even worse and this one also had the allergen on it. So I informed the staff and he again apologized for the mix up but by now it's far to late to correct the issue. My entire party has completed their meals and are ready to leave. So I have to forgo getting a meal at all. Now normally in a circumstance like this a manager would be brought in to have a conversation and discuss what happened. The server walked to the manager and had a brief conversation with her and she walked to the p.o.s and apparently removed the burger from the check. That is all well and good, except the person paying for over 200 dollars worth of food and drinks gets no food and you make no attempt as a manager to come have a conversation. This is a poor business practice and shows no pride in your work. Lucky for me the party I was with felt bad for me and decided to pay the bill as they felt horrible for me. So for these reasons I will never spend another cent in this establishment.

No refill drinks offered so no drink with our meal. We asked for extra salad dressing, 3 in total, got 5. Sent 2 back, charged for 5. Talked to our server who.argued with us and we had to pay for all 5. To go drinks there is now a charge as well. Crossing this Applebee's off our list, we used to frequent it but have had a bad experience more than once.

Ordered 4 apps and 3 entrees. Waited 45 minutes apps never came out. Server wasn't that friendly. We cancelled our order and went to Arby's. The service and food there was awesome and it was closing time. Thank you Arby's.

Won't be back. Been going to this Applebee's for over 10 years now and more and more recently its just gotten worse. Stopped getting pasta dishes within the last year or so because they constantly overcook the pasta now to the point its usually just disgusting. Tonight we were sat at a dirty table, and ordered chips and dip as a starter and they brought us the smashed crumbs from the bottom of the bag. Just unacceptable service at this point and have no interest in supporting this business any longer. Lost probably a $100 ticket tonight.

I ordered a medium rare steak at your establishment. It came out fully cooked, no pink at all, and tough as nails. I asked for another only to receive a steak with a massive bubble in it, completely cooked except for the center of the bubble, which was completely raw. Honestly, I'm the fool for thinking an Applebee's could cook a decent steak, but perhaps this might help you improve. Won't be returning. The waitress was amazing!

Waited over an hour for our food, were brought incorrect drink orders, and still paid full price for everything. Absolutely terrible. Normally I would be more understanding, but this has been our experience the last 3 times we've eaten here. So do yourselves a favor and avoid this location like the plague.

this place does not allow service animals, my family was asked to leave despite being informed that my dog was infact a service animal.

The food was fine but the waitress with the shaved head was not. She was very unfriendly as she has been on prior visits. She left our empty appetizer plates and only came over like once to check on us. Finally when it was time to leave She was nowhere to be found. I had to go and ask someone and they couldn't find her anywhere. I get it your job sucks it's applebees but I don't know maybe just find another job instead of being so sour and making other people's day a little worse.

Been 3 years I went back. What a mistake that was. I did Carside. Service was fast. Nachos came with burnt meat hardly any cheese( I paid $2.50 for extra) fries limp sad and way to salty.

I’m not usually one to complain, but almost EVERY time I come here recently between the service and my food being messed up I’ve decided to stop. Every time they mess up my food order and get something wrong or don’t even ring it in right. The service USED to be good but it has went downhill a lot. When I wait for over 20 minutes and still do not have my drink when the waitress has walked by multiple times and didn’t even stop at our table to check if anyone needed anything then I have a problem. I understand that restaurants get busy on the weekend and it can be stressful but when it’s not that busy and the service is that terrible I don’t really know what else to say.

Went for a quick bite on valentine day with my daughter. We were there for 2hrs. I had ordered a burger to go for my husband. After we had our meal I was waiting for at least 30 min for my burger and it still wasn't coming out and we were ready to go. Took another 15 to get waitresses to take it off my bill.

Today I ordered To-go side around 1 pm! I had Cassidy G! Not only was she disrespectful, she was just full of attitude!! Just seemed like she could care less about working and being there! Do better when hiring these people!

We waited for about 20 minutes with a group of other people that were also waiting to be seated, we were never acknowledged by any hostess/staff. We ended up leaving. You could see the waiters and waitresses standing around talking to each other. Disappointed.

Placed an order through the applebees website and picked the delivery option. 2 of my items were missing blackened shrimp Alfredo and a diet Pepsi. Called the store and was told it is door dashes problem. I did not order through door dash i ordered on applebees website. Was told he would get manager and I was placed on hold for 20+ minutes.Hung up and called back another hold for 20+ minutes hung up again another 12 minutes have gone by. I am as much as customer as any one in the store who would get a manager right away. It says a Michael C was on charge of order. 20 dollar item out of a hundred dollar order missing. After 7 phone calls and 2 hours wait time on phone I got a manager who did give a full refund. He said he had been misinformed by the person who kept answering the phone.

I just watched a commercial for Applebee's and their deal. I ordered a chicken parm like on the commercial and did not get the amount of pasta like the commercial had. All I got was the same size as my chicken. Pasta is cheap and they gave me so little. Plus my daughter ordered a burger and it came with cheese on it. So they took it back and brought us one that looked like they scraped the cheese off and brought it back to her. So I said something and the manager made her a new one. He came out with an attitude. The server was the best part. She was super nice and felt bad. The rest of our time there was bad. We will never be going back. The manager should have had a better attitude. You are in a customer service industry. If you dont want to be there then dont go to work.

Absolutely disgusting. Paid $65 for 2 steak dinners and the new "apple pie desert" and it was not edible. The salad had rotten lettuce. The steak was supposed to be well done and it was not only raw but it was just a heap of ligaments and fat (see picture). The green beans were dried up and impossible to chew. The new apple pie desert was supposed to be layers of apple pie but it was literally the consistency of mashed potatoes. It was absolutely nothing but a pile of mush. You couldn't find anything in it that resembled an apple. And that was without ice cream on it. That was in a separate container, in case you might think it was the ice cream that made it mushy. This picture is just the apple pie part. But the best part of all is that I have spent the whole night sick in the bathroom from just eating a few bites of it.

My husband order tomatoe bail soup and it had a piece of plastic. Gave it the benefit of the doubt my husband said bring me another one. The second one had a piece a lettuce and it was straight out of the fridge!! I asked to see the manager. The manager finally came out and apologize and gave us 10 dollar certificate for next time. Their will not be a next time!!
