I used to come into d6 all the time but it seemed to have fallen off there for a bit so I stopped going. I came back for the first time in a while and the redhead bartender took care of me, made me feel so at home. Hoping for this kind of kindness and service in the future!
now in fairness, we didn't end up ordering here. But, that being said, the bartender was extremely generous and showed us where we were trying to go and even helped us get there. Very kind people and weeall have to come back and give the bar a proper try. Google maps is incorrect though; no live music here.
We wanted to get out of our town and this place looked fun. It was the perfect spot to catch the game. Sitting at the bar, Paige took care of us very well. We took advantage of the game day pitcher special and Paige made a mean bloody mary. Ordered the chips and dip, ribs, hatch chile smash burger, and fish sandwich. Would probably hold off on the fish sandwich (average), but everything else tasted good. They have many options drinks, beers, and food. Great atmosphere. We'll be back for our next big game day.
New Favorite Spot in Georgetown! We tried District 6 for the first time and immediately decided — this is our new date night place. They have a whole shelf of board games you can grab and take to your table. We played Scrabble while eating dinner, and it was so much fun — such a unique touch! Now for the food: Best guacamole my wife has ever had (and she is VERY picky about guac) Street corn queso that I’m still thinking about Hatch chili burger cooked perfectly — juicy, flavorful, and just the right amount of messy Tater tots that were huge and perfectly crispy Cocktails so good we considered calling an Uber just to stay for another round Service was excellent, and the kitchen was surprisingly fast even though they were busy. Plus, big TVs everywhere so you can catch your favorite game while you eat and play your own. Highly recommend — fun, delicious, and all-around awesome experience.
What a super cute spot that I had no clue existed in DT GT. After lunch we wanted a cocktail in the area and google directed me here. I mentally toggled back and forth as I thought I’ve visited most spots in the area, so surely I’ve been here and just didn’t remember- wrong. It’s tucked in a corner of a side street so if you aren’t aware that it exists, it’s very easy to miss. It was adorable from the outside in. Plenty of tables and TVs prior to entering but it was a million degrees and no one was sitting outside. It’s self seating with more TVs and a QR code menu. Definitely kid friendly as there were many there with parents either playing arcade games or watching sports. We were there solely for drinks and decided to grab one of the available board games-of course I won 😛 I’ll definitely be back and am glad that I’ve found such a cute spot when in DT GT.
Food was amazing. Service was even better. This is the perfect mix of sports bar and high end craft restaurant. Great mix of college kids and old folks. All cheering for 30 different sports programs. We are here once a week and will continue to come back. Get the burger and the lettuce wraps.
This place is definitely a hidden gem! At first I thought it was a truck with seating but then we realized there’s a whole restaurant! Great atmosphere. Delicious drinks and food. You could play some video games while sitting at the bar and they even have board games to borrow. Service was great and food came out fast. My husband loved the wagu burger which is surprising since it’s hard to find a place he really likes. We will definitely be back!
I don’t get the lower marks. I just can’t believe I haven’t already tried this place. It’s definitely a hidden gem. My son kept telling me it was a cool place and it sure was! The decor is so cute, definitely gives an Austin vibe. The drinks were delicious. I had one of their yummy frozen offerings. The bar food was spot on! So good and such a cool hang out place. What a fun place to belly up at the bar and just hang out. Georgetown is lucky to have you. Definitely a 5 star experience for local bar atmosphere/food/drinks. I don’t get the complaints about pricing. See you again soon.
A friend recommended this place to us and we finally tried it today. Our only regret, is that we didn't come sooner. My daughter had the grilled cheese which they brought out early. It was really good for a run of the mi grilled cheese. My husband and I started with the street corn queso. The flavors combine perfectly with just the right amount of spice. I had the garden salad with grilled chicken, and the 512 Pecan Porter Honey Mustard dressing. The salad was fresh and crisp, the chicken was grilled to perfection. The dressing made the salad amazing, the depth of the flavor, sweet, with a bit of spice and a small taste of the hops put this basic salad over the top. My husband had the fried Nashville chicken sandwich. Perfect combination of spicy paired with bread and butter pickles. The sandwich was huge, and the flavor was endless. The service was phenomenal, our server spent extra time with us and our kiddo. Which means a lot to this Mama. The food is why you come, the beer list and atmosphere is why you stay and hang out a while. Enjoy! Update: The burgers are out of this world!! Every bite is juicy perfection. The servers are all still really nice to my daughter.
I wish we would have tried this place earlier. It is SO good!! Our server was Aubrey and she exemplified amazing customer service. Friendly, fast, and offered us menu recommendations when we told her it was our first visit. Food was excellent! I had the Tex-mex beet salad with grilled chicken. My husband had the smash burger. There were zero leftovers. Can’t recommend enough. Notes: they do have a full bar and extensive beer list as well as wine options.
I've visited District Six several times over the last few weeks and I have to say it is a welcome addition to Georgetown. We didn't know that we needed this place until it opened! The food is very good and unique to our town. I love the quail legs, chicken wings, burger, fries and of course the huge selection of beer. If you haven't been down to check it out, I highly recommend you do very soon.
A warm, inviting sports bar nestled behind the Square! The food is ok and a bit messy to eat—just casual bar fare but I was impressed by the extensive drink and cocktail menu. Inside seating seems a bit limited with a mixture of high & low top + bar seating, but there’s more room outside with picnic tables and TVs for sports. Definitely a cool atmosphere and I love the bright aesthetics.
The foods & drinks are reasonable priced, and the atmosphere is pretty diversity. Sean and I regularly go over there for some chitchat and mingle people. They’re down to earth and easygoing tbh. Bartenders are wonderful souls, they pour it with love and a hi. Lastly, I forget to leave a review until I saw the picture of us with our awesome bartender. Thank you for making my out of state family an amazing time and a warm welcoming. Edit(10/5) : The customer service seems to be on other story (bad mood?) We chose to go other place
My husband and I visited on a Saturday night around 9pm - we accidentally stumbled upon it while looking for something to do. Very cute decor, nice outdoor seating, cool vibes. There were only about 5 people when we arrived so were seated pretty quickly. We had a good time hanging out and having a few drinks. The ambiance is pretty laid back. We ordered the chips and dips as an appetizer which was delicious! The guac was perfect. We had a few drinks (Daytona Paloma, Georgetown Spike, Red Poppy & some Michelos) drinks were ok, not great but not terrible. Total was around $50 before tip. All in all, we had a good time and would try it again if we're ever in the area again!
Wonder experience. Our server Amari was awesome .The sauces are all awesome. We had fried pickle spears, smash Burger, tater tots and chicken nuggets. Only the chicken nuggets we're lower quality. The burger was out of this world. They have 30+ beers on tap and plenty of TV's for watching sports.
Great atmosphere, customer service fantastic, food is alright, and drinks are great! I took off a star because the price of the food did not match the quality of the food. The drinks are good just very small. It’s a cool little spot to enjoy drinks and watch sports. Our server Salim was awesome. He made great recommendations!
Okay, so I came by this place twice during the weekend we were in town. First night, sat at the bar, 'Davie' I think was his name, the bartender was awesome. I appreciate a bartender that enjoys their job. He made me want to come back. Skip to the second day, We came in with more people, sat outside, and the service was extremely slow. Food was good, but not amazing. My wife barely touched her lettuce wraps, my burger was pretty ok. All in all, it's a good place, interesting setup, sit at the bar for better service..
