I was in Georgetown for some business, and went looking for something unique. I found it at the Red Door Kitchen. They have a very broad menu with some great selections at fair prices. I started with the basil tomato soup, which was delicious. When I was finished, it didn’t take long for the Chicken Caprese over vegetables to arrive at the table. As you can see, it is a healthy portion. The combination of pesto and the balsamic drizzle was incredible. I wish that I had asked for a small side of the balsamic as a dipping sauce. I have only one suggestion, bring the quality of your breadsticks up to the level of your food. I would highly recommend the Red Door Kitchen for a quality meal, with very friendly service in an atmosphere that has a genuine vibe.
He was honestly a little hesitant to write this review because I don’t want you going there… I don’t want this place to be too busy for whenever I plan to stop by… 🙋🏻♀️ Bill, the owner, already told me that he sells out of lasagna every night and I want to make sure there’s some left for me!🤣 So for anybody that drives into Round Rock to get a good Chicago dog, now you don’t have to because they have come to Georgetown! 😍 I love the ambience of this place and the server was super sweet. It was lunch so I did a half sandwich and half salad (I’m not sure how that salad counts as a half, it was big) and we also started with the fresh tomato basil soup. 🥣😋 I know my husband is going to be super excited to hear that the “Chicago dog place” that we used to have to drive almost 30 minutes to get to is now right around the corner! And they do a fabulous expanded menu for dinner. All kidding aside I highly recommend this place Dinner was great! The lasagne was as promised - huge
Great little place to come and enjoy good food as it’s a BYOB which is very suitable for everyone. The owner is wonderful as the friendly staff come check them out. Pizza after 4 is a must try
The service right when we walked through the door was amazing. I got the creamy chicken pesto and it was delicious, but next time i would ask for them to make it al dente. The look and vibe of the restaurant is amazing and I loved the music they were playing. Definitely will be coming back.
Miguela was our server for the evening. A person that truly loves what she does. She is the best and I took all of her recommendations. We had as an appetizer the meatballs. You get 4 large meatballs that served 2 of us easily. Some of the best I have ever had. We also had house Ceasars and standard salads. Both good. I had the creamy chicken pesto was was absolutely wonderful. Desert was the Italian Cream Cake..light and flavorful. Very convenient to Sun City...we will be back. Note we also found they have a private room that will serve 30 people that you can reserve. Decor throughout was calming and delightful.
Fantastic food all around, the chicken pesto caprese was delicious and the pickle fries were phenomenal. This has been a wonderful surprise, and they are punching way above their weight. I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets more and more difficult to get into the restaurant over the next few years.
Five stars aren’t enough! We were celebrating a visit from my wife’s sister and decided to give The Red Door a try—and wow, what a find! Tucked away in Georgetown, this cozy little Italian spot was quiet on a Tuesday evening but delivered big on flavor and service. We started with the fried mozzarella sticks, which were absolute perfection—crispy on the outside, gooey (but not runny) on the inside, with that glorious mile-long cheese pull you dream about. For mains, our table had a variety: classic cheese ravioli in marinara, rich fettuccine Alfredo, a fresh and generous Caesar salad, and my dish—a chef’s choice that completely blew me away. Penne in creamy Alfredo, topped with a perfectly breaded chicken breast, all finished with sautéed peppers and jalapeños that gave the dish a flavorful kick without overpowering it. It was honestly the best Italian food I’ve had since my last trip to New York. The service was top notch—friendly, engaged, and attentive without hovering. It felt like dining with people who genuinely cared about your experience. The Red Door is a hidden gem just waiting to be discovered. I’d give them a bonus star if I could—for the food, the warmth, and the pleasant surprise. We’ll absolutely be back.
A Mom and Pop restaurant with great prices, food and staff. There is a limited menu that will not disappoint during their Soft Opening and reservations are required for now. Our first bite into the Chicken Parmigiana sub and the Italian Beef sandwich made us realize why Sun City would not allow this restaurant into the Legacy Hills Golf Club, The Red Door would have put the current one owner and two restaurants out of business with their mediocre food. The people of Sun City deserve so much better. The food at Red Door is fresh and amazing. The fries and coleslaw were fantastic. The Italian Cream Cake was just like my Aunt Sistine used to make. Our server, Jazmin, was personable and friendly. Great Job to the Red Door staff! We can't wait to try your dinner menu.
I had the chicken Parmesan with onion rings. The food was good and the service was impeccable. This place is always clean when I go to deliver food supplies. Don’t just pass by, check it out!
One page menu but nice Italian choices. The toasted ravioli comes with a lot. Easy to miss the drive entrance so pay attention.
Absolutely delicious, the staff was friendly, the atmosphere has a great aesthetic, this place has a unique character and experience that you can’t really find anywhere else in town. Will definitely be going back!
I've eaten Philly cheesesteaks in Philadelphia and the one I had today at the Red Door Kitchen was just as good if not better. Incredibly delicious ingredients, very large portions, and the rolls are actually from Philadelphia I read. Service was fantastic, I was in and out very quickly for a fast lunch.

First time trying red door after being a long time fan of wise guys. Got a cheesesteak to go and it was amazing. They definitely kept the same standards and food quality here!! Not only does it taste amazing but you can’t beat the price for the amount of food you get. I am so excited to dine here in the future :)
This place definitely makes my new fav Italian! The food is incredible! I have enjoyed everything I have eaten here. We had a party of 5 tonight and waited just a few minutes for a table. So glad we did cause our server Alexis was the best! Thank y'all so much for everything. It was a great night. And whatever else you order, make sure to get the fried ravioli app, I could have eaten everyone of them myself!
Decided to finally try red door today for lunch I have been to the round rock location several times over the years. I was overall impressed with the Georgetown location very nice atmosphere. I ordered the club sandwich with Parmesan fries. Very good choice in my opinion. Will definitely try again when in the area
This is the first review I've ever left for anywhere, but I couldn't not with how outstanding this establishment is and how blown away I was. The atmosphere was warming and the cleanliness of the entire establishment was more than satisfactory! I, nor the rest of my party, had absolutely any notes on the food - we each got a different dish and each of them were nothing less than spectacular. Glad to have made this mythical find on our trip to Texas and it's going to be a must to stop everytime we return! Thank you to the entire Red Kitchen team for this experience!
First time dining at the Red Door. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The lasagna was very good. Wife had the garlic butter shrimp linguine and loved it. To top it off the tiramisu was so scrumptious!!!!. We will be returning to the Red Door.
What a find! Beautiful decor. Great staff and service. Alexis was fantastic. Phenomenal food! Haven't had a Philly that tasty in Texas till now. Please please try the coleslaw. Wow impressed! Please go and see for yourself. They gained new loyal customers. We plan to go back for dinner this week. I'll update my dinner soon.
Had delightful late lunch recommended by local! Food was amazingly fast. Got lunch special 1/2 italian sausage sandwich - good!, & upgraded side Red Door salad for very small $. Salad was AMAZING - lots of great bacon, feta, red onions, & tomatoes, even a lil AVOCADO and very good house made italian dressing! Will have to come back to try the Italian Beef and potato soup, which they were out of. Took deserts home for later! Thanks!

Definitely 5 stars for effort. Really great ambiance. Service is great. Not a complaint, but the lunch menu was disappointing. If you’re not up for a sandwich, then the lunch menu is anemic. The dinner menu is more weighted to pizza and pasta. Just wish the lunch menu offered more than hot dogs, sandwiches and spaghetti. Where’s the deep dish? Where’s the muffuletta? Calzone? Pizza- there are literally 5 places with awesome thin crust pizzas on the square. Bring the deep dish. Nobody has the deep dish except via 313. Anyway. A for effort. C- for creativity. Secret: we’re looking for things nobody else offers.
We stopped by to check out the new place in town. There is good parking. The restaurant looks small but has two seating areas. It has a NY Italian theme with pictures of Deano and Franko etc. The food was okay. The iced tea didn't have a tea flavor. The mozzarella sticks were tasty by very salty. I had the chicken on salad. There was a lot of chicken. I wish they had more options for dressings. My son had the lobster ravioli. The plate looked lonely and the sauce was thick. May give is a second try.

We decided to eat here for lunch. The four of us each had a variety of the half sandwiches with salad/soup. Although the service was good, none of the food was outstanding. Maybe other menu choices are better. At the moment, no plans to return.
The food was average Italian. The mozzarella sticks were great and the broccoli cheddar soup was really good. But the spaghetti and Alfredo were bland and average. Service was okay, they were friendly but brought the soup and food at the same time and forgot to bring items we request. Wasn’t really worth what we paid to eat there. ($70 for 3 with an appetizer so 20$+ per person ) Atmosphere was nice, restaurant is really cute.

I have no idea where these people are coming up with five stars. Fried Ravioli is a complete joke. Straight out of a Walmart or Costco bag. Not fried at all. It's bakes on an oven sheet. Had spaghetti and the only thing that may have been prepared in the kitchen was the ground meat. Everything else is out of a can. Tomato basil soup. Straight out of a can. There is nothing here actually produced in the kitchen. The waitress was very nice. The atmosphere was ok. Normal booths. Will not go back!!!
