One of the very few that always gets my orders correct
For being a McDonald's, it is really top notch. I have never been to a McDonald's that has had service this good. They were really nice, brought me my food, and refilled this couple's coffee at their table. It was almost like being in a café.

This is the best McDonald's I have ever visited. The drive thru service is always fast. The food is always fresh and the employees are always friendly and courteous. This is the McDonald's that all other ones should aspire to be. Definitely a five star experience.
The reviews do not talk nicely about this McDonalds, but our experience was just superb. The order was exact, the people working there were very friendly and very attentive you our needs. I appreciate the small things and these folk went above and beyond. Great job!!

Since the renovation, it's a very clean and nice place to eat with family, staff were always on duty cleaning and taking orders, cooks were on point and focused 👌🏾 😋 👍🏾 You don't see many young people into their job but they were , I enjoyed myself, hopefully this will land me a free Mc meal lol
Friendly service, never had a wrong order or missing items, food is cooked quickly and served quickly. Love the place! That says something about McDonald's in Gladewater,Texas. As in Oregon, no I was not fond of McD's. They were rude and constantly screwed up the orders.
Absolutely love this McDonald's, mostly because it's the closest to my house but it's clean, like always clean not just sometimes. And the food is always fresh...like the fries actually come hot, and you don't even have to ask for no salt on them and then proceed to ask for salt at the window 🤷🏼♀️

November 2025 Update We were cruising along I-20 when the grandkids hit that hungry-now moment, so we pulled off at the one place we know they’ll eat without hesitation — McDonald’s. Sometimes it’s not about trying something new, it’s about knowing what works, and this stop did exactly that. From the jump, the staff was kind and respectful, which always sets the tone for the visit. The dining area was clean, the floors were well taken care of, and the restrooms were clearly being maintained. Sure, there were a couple of paper towels on the floor, but overall? Clean, stocked, and way better than what you sometimes expect on a highway stop. What really stood out to me was how smooth and modern the whole experience felt. The place was well-lit, easy to navigate, had kiosks for ordering and a working tap-to-pay system — which matters more than people realize when you’re on the road and trying to keep things moving. When a stop is efficient, clean, and stress-free, it earns points in my book every time. This is one of those locations that quietly does things right, and when you’re traveling with kids, that reliability is gold. I tried the new chicken tenders They were really excellent, seasoning that's been added to it makes it taste like it has actual flavor. Your Dr peppers are the best don't ever change a thing on that please. ❤️
It's McDonald's. You know what you get. I had ordered myself one of those Mcdonald's sausage mcgriddle plus I had them add yellow american cheese to my sausage mcgriddle sandwich order and it was very exceilent. The syrup is baked into the pancake bun. If that isn't just about the most american thing then I don't know what is.
Absolutely love their quarter pounders with cheese and chicken nuggets. But lets be honest I come here at lunch for the fries. Over 40 years of eating their fries and still do not get tired of them. Hamburgers have seemed to have gotten smaller though. That said the service was friendly and quick and our food was hot when we got it. We will definitely go back.
Always enjoy going to this McDonald's. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and they keep the restaurant very clean. They've always gotten their orders correct and never seem to be bothered when I need to have something specially made.
Quick and easy transaction. The kiosks are great for quick pop-ins. Getting the food was fast as well. No challenges except may have been a bit too quick. Was I given food sitting around already? Will never know but the food was up to temperature and tasted as you would expect.
Ordered through the McDonalds app and had door dash deliver. Got my order and was missing half of it and they sent ice coffee instead of hot coffee. Called them and they said they can replace what I was missing when I come into McDonalds..... If I could get out to go to McDonalds I would not be using Door dash...
Burger meat was dry. Must have been old. But yet was still hot. Microwave? Fries on the other hand were the complete opposite. They were cold. I recommend driving a couple of miles to the next McDonald's if you want McDonalds.
The food here is as good as any other one but the service is hit or miss. Mostly due to the high number of teenagers working there and the high turn over rate that keeps the majority of the staff, new workers who don't yet have the experience to know exactly what the job intells.
Requested no salt on fries, still salt. Would have gotten a ice cream cone. But the girl was playing with here hair. Didn't even try to was her hand in any way. Watch the manager on duty take a customer sandwich and change out the bun. Bc customer didn't want mustard she wiped off.
The service here can be pretty hit or miss. I have had them forget my child's drink with their happy meal on numerous occasions. The wait times in the drive thru have been AWFUL at times. It does seem that things have improved quiet a bit since it changed ownership though.

We visited the drive thru around 6pm and they werent that busy. We ordered 3 meals to go. When we got home which was only a couple blocks away we realized our food was hardly even warm. The buns didnt taste fresh and the french fries had definately been sittine for more then a little while.
Depending on the employees working that day then the food is either good or bad and that includes the service! I ALWAYS get a mocha frappe w/espresso and oreo. Today the dude told me they couldn't add oreo because it messes up the machine! The same machine that "crushes" ice! Smh THEN WHY HAVE THE OPTION TO ADD OREO?? Yesterday I ordered the same drink and the mexican guy made it so perfect, I wish I would of gotten his name but next time I will and update my post! Samething with the food and how its made too. Some employees just slap stuff together then you have those employees that make it like they are going to eat it themselves! Makes a huge difference. It's a hit or miss here but it's closer than going to the whiteoak location.
Slow, Slow, Slow.... my experience here sucks... I drive to White Oak if I want McDonald's. Okay, let's jump to 7-10-20. Not much has changed. Drive horribly long, and not moving. Both lanes. Rude, People.
I believe it is truly impossible to go through the drive thru without having to park. Every single time I come through they ask me to go park and half the time still can’t manage to get my order right
I am honestly not impressed with this location at all. There aren't a ton of places to grab a cheap, "quick" bite in the area so my family is here fairly often at different times. Within 6 days they messed up one if our orders 3 times! Two of those visits were even during slow times. We often get home and see that they've given us the wrong drink or sandwich. Often times food is cold before we even leave the parking lot. Half the time they don't answer their phone when we try to get things fixed, and I've been met with hostility a couple of times when I just wanted to get a wrong burger replaced, even though I had the burger and receipt right there. Also, several times my mother has ordered, paid, and been told to pull to the front, then been left to wait 20+ minutes, onky for then to act like they have no idea what she's talking about when she finally goes inside. Very frustrating and I think we will try to find amsomeplace else to grab a bite on the way to work
Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to! I’ve been to McDonald’s all over the us and this one takes the cake for the worse. Food was soggy, sweet tea was sour, and they forgot half my order had to wait in line for them to finish the rest of my order will not be visiting this establishment again.
They’ve gotten my orders wrong a couple days in a row now, and the kids/people that work there just goof off together. And the food isn’t that great anymore, i’m not too sure what happened but we used to love this mcdoanlds. I guess they hired new people and it just went downhill.
There is not one single time that I have come to this McDonald's that i'm not asked to pull forward and wait in a spot after I have ordered on the app. The reason we order on an app is so that it is ready when we get here. Not so that we have to show up and wait another 5 to 10 minutes for them to finally bring out our order. This is the slowest fast food place I have ever seen.
I'm disappointed to say the least, this location has taken a huge step back in its quality of food, cleanliness of the overall store, and the driveway has only gotten worse. I've known many friends and family that have worked for McDonald's and some have been employed at this one in particular but man I don't know anyone working here now and that tells me alot. I'm just glad I had a coupon at this point.

I was given diet coke instead of coke. When I tried to get it exchanged they argued with me about what was in the drink. I took only one sip out of the drink and knew it was not what I ordered.
Don't understand why this store even advertises their ice-cream because the machine literally "never works" when in reality they're to lazy to clean it. Im giving 2 stars because of the very few times my order has been correct, but I can say the ice cream machine has never worked every time we've tried to order it.
The line was not moving 830am on Sunday morning. When I finally drove up to make my order. I couldn't understand the young lady. Oh ok, this is the problem. I wanted to try the new steak breakfast out. Big mistake. They have made it into sausage patty. It was dried up and it tasted horribly. I threw it a way. Smh
First time I visited this location I picked up a nail in my tire because they didn’t clean their parking lot good and cost me $15 to get my tire patched. This time the music was loud I couldn’t even hear the cashier when she reviewed my order and got my drink wrong. Maybe if y’all can turn down that music a bit this wouldn’t have happened
Service is horrible. All they care about is their phones and fighting about a boy that came in and how attractive he was or wasn't. My order took 18 minutes to get because of all the horse play and talking.
Wallet was stolen right out of lobby! They were suppose to call me today about the tapes. Even said she knew who it might have been. Because the guy is a regular. I'll update this after I get a call!
Tell me exactly how you get 2 large fries out of 2 large drinks?????? Then when I tell the girl that took the order I didn't order fries she tells me she spoke to the manager and the manager said that they would fix it.... Now here's the best part NOT ONE MANAGER EVER CAME AND TALKED TO ME SO I LEFT AND THE GIRL THAT TOOK THE ORDER JUST WATCHED AS I WALKED OUT THE DOOR. Now I remember why I don't go to the Gladewater McDonald's this place is straight GARBAGE!!!!
The night shift is an absolute joke here. The frys in my order were old and stale with no salt on them, they didn't give any dipping sauce for the 20pc that was ordered, both burgers on the order that had pickles only had one single pickle slice on each one, the crispy McChicken patty was old and a soggy McChicken, and they took it upon themselves to just not make a drink from the online order because "they were out of sweet tea" and didn't want to ask what other drink we would have wanted.
As a fast food worker, this was sad. No greating and when I said I wanted to correct my order she rolled her eyes and said hold on and shut the window. Other then that food isn't hot. Never is when I come to this location and this is the one I live closer to. I will no longer come here. So disappointed.
This McDonalds in Gladewater is absolutely horrible!!! Not only does it take forever but when you actually get your food its cold. My husband stood at the counter for over 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged him and there wasn't even a line. He was pissed!! This has happened more than once. I'll have to say I do believe this store has lost our business, we will make the extra drive to go elsewhere. Very disappointed!!!
Bought breakfast a few days ago. The burrito and the biscuit both had hard spots that were stuck to the wrappers from sitting under the heat lamp. Today we spent $40 on dinner and all 3 of our drinks weren't flat. They had absolutely no carbonation whatsoever. This McDonald's has really gone downhill.
Absolute worst McDonald's I've ever experienced. From The managers down no one seems to care about customer service. Takes for ever to get service and when you finally get your food its cold. Entire night shift needs to be replaced, they could care less. Managers outside in the parking lot smoking cigarettes while the workers are inside doing nothing and the drive thru is backed up to the street... I will not spend another penny in this restaurant
Once again, the service is lacking. This time I was in the dual drive up kiosk waiting for the person to take my order. Another car drove up well after my arrival and got waited on promptly. I went across the street to Sonic. I'm done with this McDonald's.
This place is absolutely abysmal. There's literally nothing good to say. Everytime you go here it's more of a hassle than it's worth. None of the other one star reviews are wrong. This is single handedly the worst McDonald's in existence. The owner should be ashamed. McDonald's should pull his franchise license. It's insane.
I'm over there in the side of parking lot with 6 others waiting on food. Its been 37 minutes and I'm still waiting on my huge order of two mc doubles. Girl at 2nd window was rude, spoke in some slang and I had a hard time understanding that she wanted me to pull over to a waiting area on her first attempt, rolled her eyes at me when I asked her, one time, if she could please repeat herself. Still waiting while writing this review 40+ minutes later.
Update... 2022: Gave this place 1 more try ... it deserves a ZERO STAR...!!!! I Paid over $6 for one biscuit/bacon/egg and paid extra for 3 slices bacon...... PLEASE see the picture I will post there is maybe only one piece of bacon on the biscuit.............This was my 1st and last visit. Had to repeat order 4 times, girl at the widow was rude acted as if serving you was and inconvience to her. We were charged for food we did not get even though the order as I said was repeated 4 times.
I have never been a big McDonald's fan because they change their french fries they had the best french fries in the world to they change them and now I really don't care to eat there all I will eat there is cookies and milk shake. That's it! But of course you got us hooked by the kids. My grandkids love McDonald's
If i could give a negative 5 for a rating that is what the McDonald's in Gladewater would get. I have not been there in over a year due to the way this location is improperly managed/ran. I went thru the drive thru and tried to place my order and was ignored until I yelled "HELLO" a third time. I have my order and was given my total and told to drive forward. There was a truck with a trailer ahead of me, after waiting a couple of minutes the man with the truck came to my window and said that I need to go to the 2nd window because his truck broke down and he couldn't move it. The employees didn't bother to mention this on the speaker or even bother to come out and inform us in the drive thru. As I pulled around this truck there was 5 McDonald's employees leaning up against a car in the drive thru parking spot just laughing and carrying on. I drove off without my order and went across the street to Sonic, where I should have gone to begin with. I will not make another attempt with this McDonalds again. I will in fact look into options of getting this location closed so a different fast food chain can move in.
Dec/ 21 /22 I bought a doble quarter pound burger... got home and open the burger to add my favorite hot sauce and the smell from the meat was Disgusting like really awful smell, i trow it away... needless to say i will never buy another burger from McDonald's! Never!
8/18/16 at 9:37 Workers lazy cursing, rude. Gentlemen taking our order was to busy talking to the teens standing around causing at each other. A women ask to speak to manager and the manager never came to front the customer stated this Is a family restaurant and she has her young children and if they could takin grown then they can do so in front of police. One kids "whatever not scared of f****** police" total disrespectful!!! Manager yelling at employees. Tables were not clean workers just standing around...
The drive thru at this store is the slowest I have experienced. Especially when it is important, in the morning before work. Do not recommend. Ever.
They suck. The only thing I can say is the folks are rude and get away with it. I haven't eaten there since I got a bag of strait up puke. When complain they act like it's my fault they are terrible. I don't work there. I say close it down and start over. From the employee and manage. Plus the bathroom always smells like feces. Ugh. I recommend nothing from this McDonald's
I had a good review but decided to pull it down due to my VERY BAD service! We pulled up and ordered at 1:50pm. Ordered our food that consisted of 2 happy meals a bacon smoke house and 4 strawberry pies. They informed me they did not have the strawberry pies. Told me it would take 11 minutes to make. We let them know we would wait. After waiting 30 minutes I decided to go in and check. After asking what was taking so long I was informed the pies were done but they were still “working on the rest of the order”. I waited for another 5 minutes before I got the food. We drove not even a minute down the road only to realize not only was our food cold and soggy but incorrect. Mind you when I was at the counter there was a couple standing there beside me waiting on a burger to be remade that was wrong. I walked back up to the counter after turning around and coming back. This time upset at the fact that we had to turn around after waiting 35+ minutes for our food. I walked back in and asked for the manager only to find out the manager was the one who rudely gave me my food and rolled her eyes at me the first time. At this point I called her out and also said something about all the customers sitting waiting. I waited another 15 minutes for the burger to get remade. The worst service I have ever seen or received at any restaurant! McDonald’s should really consider changing all management at this location!
This place is shitty, I just ordered a Lrg 4C with no drink n also got 2 double cheeseburgers with a free fry n they messed up my order, so I go back to the store after just leaving it n told them abt it n they rlly said that i was gonna have to PAY for what they did wrong so I walked out
The orders are messed up atleast 50 percent of the time. The wait is ridiculous. And if you dont wait in line they move you to a parking spot and if the side is full you have to pull around and get into the parking spot. Its inconvenient and if their coffee didnt come with creamer i wouldnt waste time pulling through. Ive been meaning to leave a review but its a typical mcdonalds hope we have a chick-fil-a soon.
If I could give 0 stars I would. At 10:39pm, this McDonalds took the order from the car in front of me, I had a mobile order, but by the time I got to the window the person came on the speaker in the drive through and said “we’re closed, that was the last order.” At 10:39pm on a Friday. Website says you close at 11pm? Hmmm… August 18, 2024: been sitting in the heat for 15 minutes now in Reserved 1 waiting for my drink….
I'm done with this place. Every time I go through, I order a simple burger and fries for my kids and I. No chicken, no nothing that takes a while. Now usually when I go, there's is either none, or maybe 1 car in line with me, and STILL... they ask me to pull forward. So in other words, pull up into the pick up parking, so they can lie to their system and get u checked out as done, even tho your not, and your actually still waiting. Then the people who rush your food? They have no reason to rush, the system says it's done. I'm so done. Covid caused all this, covid is gone, so run things normally. If I can't order food without parking and sitting for 20 minutes, It's not fast food. Get it together!!!
Very slow service for a fast food restaurant, over a half hour wait after the meal was paid for. Apple pies were given as a form of apology for this, but as I do not eat them generally a wasted item. It was due to them not being prepared to make a new menu item that is currently being offered. While wait times can be expected occasionally, this is ridiculously excessive. Update: as of February 18, 2019 they have gotten even worse. I ordered food and two of the Happy meals order for my children were found without food upon arrival home. Upon calling they wanted my return to the store to fix their mistake or even to return my money even though it had been paid for via card. As of now it is amounting to robbery/thievery by the store and if this is how they conduct business they should be shut down. Further, the manager on duty at the time had to be pushed to provide a phone number to anyone who overseeing the location saying the number is posted around the store. Adding a lack of customer service to the poor experience that was already taking place.
Tried to order coffee at 11:30 p.m. lady at the drive thru said it would be a minute since they had to brew some. I said it was fine but could tell in her voice she was bothered that I decided to wait for it. Asked what kind of ice cream they had lady said “our ice cream machine is off”. Got to the window and lady says “I can’t sell you coffee right now” Really! Worse service ever!!!!!
I honestly do not like to leave negative reviews but at times it just cannot be avoided. This McDonald's is the worst fast food establishment I've ever visited in my life. What makes this location so bad is the awful customer service. The employee's refuse to read the order back to you, even when asked too, they will give you a dirty look and purposely speak so fast you cannot understand them. My food is wrong more often than not. (Yes we still eat here although we aren't pleased.. if you live in Gladewater you understand the lack of options) Management seems to care as little about customer rapport as the teenage employee's.
They regularly change the time that you can get lunch, it’s either 1030 or 11 depending on how they’re feeling I guess. But if the outside menus in the drive through show lunch, and they’re telling me that I can’t order lunch… while only showing me lunch options 🤔 why tf can’t I just get my kid some nuggets at 10:45?? They also forget the apple slices in my kids happy meal almost every time.
We just went through the drive through with our two sleeping babies to be told by the kid at the drive through "hey I'll take your order when you're ready" then when we went to make our order he says "I'm sorry we are closed for the night" we asked him what in the world is going on bc they don't close until midnight and he proceeds to say that his manager DARED him to say that. I mean are you kidding me?! Is there just a bunch of 17 year old punks running this place or What? We didn't even respond we just drove away and went to sonic instead. At least there our order was right and the customer service was decent.
They don't deserve the star that they forced me give them so I could leave this review and let people know to go to the McDonald's in white oak if you can. The morning people here in Gladewater have so much attitude just to get the order wrong twice. I think they were worried more about being rude than listening and repeating back a order. Gladewater McDonald's has always been full of rude,slow employees it would be a pleasant surprise to come across a Manager or other workers with a great attitude and work ethic. Its definitely ghetto.
It's always a mess everytime you go and their ice cream is never working. One lady even refused to refund my money when they didn't have what I ordered and she actually gave me nothing but kept my money and there's no way to get in touch with a district manager the receipts always print blank
Was just there and ordered food i asked about a snack wrap and the lady said they serve them. So i asked really? Because ive gotten them at another McDonald's in the past week. She didnt bother responding and said anything else. So i get to the window and she seems like shed rather be any where else than dealing with my order. So i canceled it and left.
Bought mcdonalds three times this month around 9pm because i have work at 10pm. Burgers werent cooked fully,(pink and not edible) and my fries were cold. NOT RECOMMENDED
If I could give them zero stars, I would. This McDonald's is the absolute worst. There is always an extremely long wait, and they are ALWAYS out of something. We literally waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes just for them to tell us at the window, not the entercom where they took our order, that they were out of what we wanted. Don't come here. Terrible service, long wait, and be prepared for them not to have what you are wanting.
Are you kidding me?!? This place is absolutely ridiculous. I work morning and today (06,16,22) I tried to get breakfast before going into work. Got to the drive through at 6:15 before I go to work at 7am in bigsandy and we waited until 6:40 and STILL no one tried to even take our order?!? Half the time my biscuit is hard as a rock but cmon
Let me preface by saying I never expect to get good service at any McDonald's . That being said this place was something else . We went through the drive through and ordered two iced espresso drinks . One we requested that they only put half the normal sweetener in it that they usually do because my fiancé is type 1 . Well it took at least five tries to explain the "just put half the normal sweetener " bit to them. After that it took about ten more minutes to get out drinks . One of which was not iced as we had ordered it. The lady was clearly annoyed with us , she all but threw the drinks at us and slammed the window . The whole ordeal took fifteen minutes and we ended up with two screwed up drinks That would have taken a competent person two minutes max to make .
I seen three people working not sure how many total was in there but out of the three people there was only one that was friendly
I have just been shorted on my order AGAIN. The drive thru is terrible about completing orders before sending you on your way. We normally check because of this (which we shouldn't have to) but my husband was ready to get home and didn't this time. Sure enough, no fries. At ALL. I've tried calling multiple times- never an answer. I don't ever leave bad reviews (we've all had off days..) but this is just ridiculous at this point. The owner needs to get it together, get rid of the slackers (or retrain them), and fix the jacked up driveway!
Every order I get the wrong food item. Spoke to the same Manger 2 weekends in a row, could careless. I even got some of the wrong item still in the bottom of the package. Let's not remake the item so it's fresh, just throw off what is wrong and keep the rest so now it's cold by the time I get to eat it. Maybe corporate will care?
You know what your getting and you know what it's going to cost, but you never know what you might see during your visit. We have seen it all from a man going absolutely crazy in his car looking for something( probably the Crack rock he dropped) to a young woman get out of her ride and pop a squat right in front of the order screen. Unfortunately we saw it all and it wasn't a pleasant experience this time. Now as for the food the order wasn't right, fries were cold and soggy, completely horrible experience with this particular location.
I have ordered online and gone through the drive-through so many times. But I’ve taken a lot of time to think about my post, and what I’ve realized is that it’s not worth it to get the food from here especially if they have very immature people taking your order or answering the phone. I love McDonald’s, and there are so many things on the menu that are affordable. We also want to support our town. But being laughed at when you’re calling to correct or wright the wrong on the ordering process online and then being laughed at and the food is subpar it’s kind of ridiculous. Why...just why?.. I make my Mobile Order ALL THE WAY in Liberty City..Drive to Gladewater McDonald's, and CONSISTENTLY TOLD that I have to not only wait for 10 in the Drive Thru..but NOW I have to park in the Side spot and continue punishment phase???...why?
I normally love McDonalds, but I don't plan on ever eating at another one again. I've been using the mobile app for a year now and have never had any problems until today. I placed an order ahead of time since I had to be at work within a couple hours so I wanted to get it quick and get back home to rest and get ready for the day. Everything went smooth, my phone's slow but that's beside the point. We get in the store and find out the fryer or fire (couldn't hear well in the place) was out so we wouldn't be able to get half of our order, that's fine. I asked if there was a way I could get a refund so I could take my money and go somewhere else, and this is where the issues started. The manager told us that we'd have to go through the app to either cancel or refund the order. I went through every link I could find in the app, including "Order Details". Another customer more familiar with the app even tried to help me. None of the other managers came over to assist, no one offered any help of any kind other than this customer. Neither of us could find a place to cancel or refund. I tried to google it and figure it out but no results came up. So I asked if there was any way they could simply give me my money back since I couldn't do it through the app and they said no. By this point my mother was so mad at the lack of service and lack of assistance with the app that she used the "f" word, which she literally NEVER does. I did call the corporate office but since it was close to closing no one answered the phone, but I will be calling back on Monday. This experience was, by far, the worst I have ever had at a McDonald's. There are others in the area that are always better, but I don't think I'll ever go back to another one. I
Zero stars... waited 45 min for my food! Was watching people who ordered after me get there food first. Only to get half my order and the fries in the kids meal had hair in it. No sorry for the inconvenience no comp meal no nothing! I know it's just McDonald's but do better!!!
This place gets orders wrong constantly. I ordered a breakfast meal with Dr pepper and used a coupon for a frappe for $2 off. Cashier in drive thru upcharged my meal $2.50 for the frappe instead of putting dr pepper in the meal and using my coupon for $2 off on the frappe separately which would have made the frappe $2.19 with coupon since medium is $4.19. So they charged me for the Dr pepper. I didn't ask for a large Dr pepper but that's what they rang me up for. Went inside and the manager on duty told me I would have to talk to the store manager, who would be in 2.5hrs from now, to get a refund because she isn't able to refund my transaction and recharge me. Which to me seemed like a lie and she was just frustrated I was right that they over charged me. Even told her she can have the large Dr pepper back and I'll take the small that I was supposed to get originally. She was very unfriendly and I think this is the last time I'll be coming to this location. Every time we have an issue it's this manager on duty because we come in the morning and she is very rude. So how many people are they doing this to? A couple dollars might seem like no big deal, but if they do this everyday and to multiple people it's a lot of money they are taking from people. I have been ordering at this McDonald’s for years and on a regular basis and honestly this review is for only this morning and how I was treated I will just drive a town over for there McDonald’s now I order 6 sausage biscuits and 4 hash browns and one frappe I went through the drive thru and pulled up and checked my bag and there was only 4 sausage biscuits in it I have 3 kids and a husband I didn’t have much money to be getting out to eat anyways this week but decided that would be enough I went back through the drive thru to get my order I paid for also the cashier handed my order out the window to another customer and got it back but I understand that I have done it myself when I work fast food before but I gave my receipt and then proceeded to get argued with by no less the manager saying she put 6 biscuits in my bag herself like I was trying to get free food I had to go to sonic to get a sandwich so I can have something to eat and proceeded to cry in front of the manager there who was trying to offer me some free tots I declined it wasn’t sonic fault I got treated that way and he was so kind to me feeling like a idiot crying about biscuits
So I always come to this McDonald's to get the same thing two double cheese with tomatoes lettuce and big Mac sauce I get my orders its just two plain cheese burgers with one tomato I go back in to tell the the girl at the registers she proceeds to talk to a customer I assume she knows for about 4 mins before taking her order after she proceed to help me I see her go back I see a guy playing in the kitchen sliding the burgers across the tables no wonder they got my oder wrong unprofessional .
I guess people don't read reviews on this location. Food is never hot maybe loop warm and no flavor but McDonald's hasn't tasted good since the 89 cent hamburgers the one in white oak is decent and cheaper than this one seriously order the same food in Gladewater go to white oak order the same thing look at the price.
I ordered McDonald'sthrough DoorDash before they closed, and instead of cancelling the order or waiting for someone to come pick it up, they closed and tried to take my money. I managed to get a refund, but I'm pretty dang upset and will never be ordering from here again.
Absolutely the worst run McDonald's store in the entire McD's global franchise operation system. I always go to White Oak instead as the problems with this location are numerous and never improve. Was tired, didnt want to drive to White Oak and pulled in here. I knew better, so I really cant be mad at Gladewater McD's doing what Gladewater McD's does. Ordered a simple #1 combo, was even the only customer in the drive through. What could possibly go wrong here? Got home and opened the bag and recieved a Spicey McChicken with mustard only, small fries, and a 4 piece McNugget with Buffalo sauce. Again, I cant be mad or upset. I knew better than to go there, so I guess the blame really is on me. Wont make this mistake ever again.
second time I went and second time I dont get what I pay for. ordered to breakfast combos and didn't get my 2 hashbrowns went to get my hashbrowns, ordered coffee asked for cream for one but they put cream in both people nice but after 3 vist and they dont listen to what I asked for ill go to another McDonald's
First of all, you can put a hamburger patty up for about a month and it doesn't even mold! Test some of the foods. Our children like this place! I don't take my child there any more! There was a drink I got from there zi believe.
Employees are very rude morning & noon!!They don't give you time to speak. Service is worse! ... If you don't want to do your job,quit! .. We make your paychecks!! Not worth it anymore.Went there for breakfast for a month now,websites says it's open,sat for 10m,thru the drive -thru,@!5am ,& nobody is there. Maybe consider changing your hours on the website.
Ordered a sausage biscuit with cheese but got a nasty mcgriddle instead will never go their again. Always mess my order up 2 thumbs down 👎
Ordered 3 big breakfast on the app, was given 1 with pancakes, the others were missing the pancakes and 1 was also missing the egg. We drove 40 minutes home before realizing. Manager refused refund. Told ne to call the app, next time we will go to up the road.
Terrible. Takes 25 mins in a drive thru for simple items and Doesn’t get order right and makes you always pull for no reason and the fries are hit or miss and Employees aren’t very friendly, this is why I dislike this McDonald’s I DO NOT recommend!!
I ordered a cheeseburger with extra onions extra pickles and received no cheese , 1 pickle and a tiny bit of onions. It clearly read my order plain as day on my ticket. I tried calling 6 times and no one ever answered. It was from 630 pm . I know someone could answer the phone. Ridiculous customer service. Makes me so mad when you don't get your order the way you ordered it.
The manager was great! The drive thru girl named Samantha was ver rude and hateful. I said I ordered large fries, payed for large fries and she said check your receipt and slammed the window I waited she opened the window I asked her name and she shut it again. I own a business as well and understand it’s hard to find good people but she is not one!
Ordered my big mac at 8:53, got it at 9:10. I witnessed 2 managers literally leaning on the counter while poorly trained employees (they didn't even know where supplies were or how to assemble simple products) struggled to make a huge order (30 mcchickens). I know they had a huge order, but while you're waiting for more mcchickens to fry, there is no reason why you can't assemble my one item order. Also, as managers, you should be leading your team and helping them when needed. The girl in front of me waited 20 minutes for ONE hotcake. She screamed as she went out the door. Another lady, literally had to ask a manager, "Can I buy a drink while you're standing there waiting?" How embarrassing?! The saddest part of this is that this is not unusual. I have recently moved close to this restaurant and it is a regular occurance. I have witnessed the employees sitting on the front counter eating ice cream, employees chewing, while handing out food. I have also been in the drive thru for 8 minutes for a large drink. I have spoken to several locals and sadly, this is the norm. Please help me in letting McDonald's, not the owner who is unresponsive to calls and messages, know what kind of service is being provided by their brand. Something needs to be done and the managers should be ashamed.
